here is my ticket
Very similar ticket for me as well. I just took ML on Pact and Illuminar games for simple double with combined odds @1.9. Small stake just to have something riding on esports while waiting for "real" tournaments to start again.

8743  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 21, 2020, 07:10:12 PM
@LFC_Bitcoin
I agree with you that Sportsbet is very trusted bookie, never used bitcasino but I would trust them also simply by association. I believe most of us "senior" members here with first hand experience with Sportsbet would agree with this without any problems. That has earned them the right that when accusations like these come out most of us consider them false by default and that is probably correct assumption in most of the cases. But we have to allow for possibility that there is 0.1% of customers actually wrongfully accused.

If this accusation happened on a thread of some new unproven or maybe shady site. Most of us would already leave red trust on profile, Sportsbet has earned our trust and nobody did that. It didn't even cross my mind. If this was a new site they would have to defend themselves shouldn't we expect more of industry leaders and not less?

If this is not only IP then pick some trusted users from this thread who already commented in here, who are not biased, doing things from a neutral position. Pick me, actmyname, Trofo, SyGambler. Share your private investigation with us and let us convinced that your investigation is right.

Edit: actmyname, Trofo, SyGambler I hope you guys will have no problem to invest some of your free time for the community if Steve actually share the methods with us.

Edit again:
I would add buwaytress too. Sorry I missed you buddy.
I don't know if this a right approach but if both parties agree to solution like that I would be willing to donate some of my time. If we want to do it fairly we probably must have much more people on the jury. If there is only 4 of us what is stopping one of the parties to pay us under the table and make a ruling in their favor? You know the saying, everybody has a price, you just have to find it. This time the amount isn't so big but what if it was 150 BTC difference?

I still believe that best approach for stuff like this is public disclosure, available for all to see.

I never felt the Majestic 7 was really that popular around here until everybody started to share their picks.  Anyway, just wondering...  Did most of you start playing it from the beginning of the season or later?

If a lot of people started playing it later, it could mean that it's just getting more popular...  Which could also mean that FJ might run it again next season.  Grin

I have started playing it very long ago. Is this the first season it was available? I want to say I already played last season but that could be my memory playing tricks. Anyway one of you guys shared the link in our Premier League pool, I liked it immediately and never missed a week from that moment on. Not that I managed to ever win anything, I just had a bunch of 4 correct scores Smiley

I just added M7 to the weakly "chores" list of predicting scores in Superbru and picking my Fantasy team. Life is good...
8745  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 21, 2020, 03:28:47 PM
This matter has been discussed on an ongoing basis between the player and our relevant Sportsbook department.

Based on the initial information we had at hand, we decided to lock the account temporarily and contact the player to ask for more information on some matters.

We have asked several questions of the player, on many different email chains. We are not confident in the credibility of the answers vs the information we have at hand.
This answer is simply not good enough for us - gamblers who put their trust in Sporstbet as one of the industry leaders. I still believe you are right and the OP has probably breached the rules but Sporsbet should be able to provide some if not all evidence publicly. OP has written several times that he wants Sporsbet to publish that information, isn't that enough to clear you legally from GDPR or similar laws? If it isn't provide a pdf publicly and ask the op to sign it and than provide the evidance.

Situations like this hurt Sportsbet reputation and you should have some way to provide evidence to the community. As somebody already mentioned many of us are here on the forum and using crypto as a way to escape centralized entities who do whatever they like, ie. freeze our money without explanations. I understand there is need for actions like that in cases of fraudulent behavior but handling of such cases should be transparent, after all that is one of main selling points of bitcoin.

Yesterday for first time ever in my 20 years of gambling that I managed to win the ticket because I chose the wrong market by mistake. I was sure Sheffield is not losing yesterday and wanted to play double chance on them. However I obviously miss clicked and played either team to win market. It was a nice surprise in the evening when I saw I won something after thinking all my tickets were busted Smiley

By the way guys I have made a feeler thread for Spanish La liga paid prediction pool as well, so if you are interested you know what to do...

8747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io (Withholding funds) on: July 21, 2020, 07:11:35 AM
I agree with all @efialtis said on this topic.

As a long time user of Sportsbet I can't believe they would try to scam somebody for 0.4 BTC. Heck they gave more than half of that to me as a reload bonus while I was high rolling there. They are very high on my trusted pages list and probably the most trusted gambling site.

That being said I am also aware that we are in highly unregulated space and I believe service providers should be much more open in cases like this. I don't know how their multi accounting algorithm works and I even understand they can't publicly provide all info since then the scammers would have an easier time but they have to provide something. There simply has to be some sort of transparency.

Do you guys remember those Wednesday poker freerolls? There has been so much multi accounting there that it was unplayable in the early stages of tournament. I was wandering for long time what does the Sportsbet gain from promo like that and my best answer is just - a confirmation of the multi account scammers. They have great promos and multi accounting really gives edge in those promos, both against the house and against other players.
8748  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: July 20, 2020, 10:13:26 PM
Looks like you guys are going strong again once more, I really want to be with you guys but I am quite afraid of it unfortunately, it is a good amount of money to join to begin with, it is not free but even at free option (and that is a big IF) I wouldn't have the courage.

How do you guys feel when someone just destroys you and you get out very early? I get the people who go all in right away from the start so that they could start with more chips and have an advantage or just leave early, but I am not one of them, if I am just actually playing and doing my best and lose at the very first table, I would feel very very horrible about it hence why I couldn't get in. Kudos to winners so far, I would bet on bitmutiny to win after this, half is already over and dude is way ahead of everyone else Cheesy.

I can just speak from my experience. I had few good runs in some tournaments and I had many quick exits. How I cope with the situation when someone destroys me? Well that depends on the reason why I got destroyed. If it was my fault I try to learn from my mistake and do better next time. If the other guy just had better hand and I did everything as I should I just go over it without a second thought. That things happens in poker often and you just have to learn to cope with it. Some hands go your way while some don't, all you can do is play percentages to try to swing the game to your favor more often than not.

I started with this series at time I had to be at home because of corona lock down and was fully expecting to stop playing when life gets back to normal. Guess what? I got hooked and played every single tournament in all our series so far. I had great fun and can't imagine my Sunday without a game of poker now. I feel like I know most of the regulars now and that is a great thing.

I guess it comes down to the money in the end. You have to comfortable with the amount you are gambling with, otherwise you just end up in downward spiral and that is no fun. My mate tyKiwanuka has graciously offered to sponsor one new player and I believe you tick all the boxes, so scroll up few posts and apply if you are interested to try our series.

Nearly 4000/1 chance got up! Well played SIR!
I suppose BRL stands for Brazilian real, correct? His bet is BTC 0.0000061 ($0.056). A dollar would have netted him nearly a half Bitcoin.  Shocked
Brescia and Napoli got his back with winning goals in injury time, 93th, and 95th minute. Congrats to him, you don't get close to 4000 total odds every day.
Big congrats to the guy. Regarding hitting those 4000 odds let me share a bit of my statistics. Due to the way I am composing my tickets I end up with a extremely high odds ticket every day when there is enough markets on the offer and play that for just 10-50 cents or something like that.
You know how many times I have hit odds of over 1000 in 20 years of gambling? Exactly 2 times, once it was odds around 1700 and other time it was around 3500. I was once one goal short on the odds of almost 25000, that one would have been epic Smiley

Watford actually sack four managers in this season
well damn, that's got to be a record then...
This got to be a record and unfortunately shows that the club does not have a clear vision of the future. They should choose their manager carefully and give him some time do something with the squad. I know situation is dire and management wanted to shake up the club a bit but if you keep sacking managers, you will not be able to hire the best ones down the road.

Fortunately for Watford their competition is also playing bad so they still have solid chance of staying up. Keeping my fingers crossed.

O kojoj poker stranici govoris?

The quality of Everton players are still above the Sheffield United players, the draw is suitable for both teams.

Thats some bold statement there . 8 points difference between Sheffield and Everton not to mention that Sheffield come from the championship before this season. Also Sheffield has won against Everton in the away game before  Wink The quality of the player might be lower but in term of playing as a whole team, you need to give appreciation to Sheffield

the draw is suitable for both teams

Although it is slim, Sheffield still holds tiny chance to get the top 7 spot so you can expect them to be aggresive. Not to mention that they have won 3 consecutive game in their own stadium and even defeated Both Chelsea and Tottenham which has higher quality of player compared with Everton

I am also expecting a good performance from Sheffield today. Everything arallmus said I can agree with and I would add one other interesting fact. Both teams are much better when playing at home and this statistics stand even after the restart when there is no supporters. I have a bet on Sheffield and another one on under 3.5 goals.

In other game Wolves should have an easy job against C. Palace, a team which has lost last 6 games and has nothing to play for. This one I have for high stakes.

Regarding to your question, is there any chance that they'll include MLB in the upcoming MM? If I'm not mistaken, they'll be starting their season this week.

Don't see this. Afaik they never had a mixed MM, but it was always one sport only and I can't imagine them doing a MLB edition, as long as there is football going on. And 3-way markets are a bit safer for them Wink

I think we will see 1 or 2 chinese football matches in the upcoming MM.
You sure about that always one sport? I am quite sure there was a couple of MM where there was some eSport and football. Last mixed one was when there was just Bundesliga 1 & 2 and they added 2 CS matches, mousesports on both of them. I remember it because I knew from the beginning I would miss those 2 games.
8753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 19, 2020, 08:11:35 PM
@Globb0 Ever since they got their new shirt sponsor "Three" they are surprisingly scoring 3 goals or are conceding 3 goals.

That is not surprising, it is part of the contract. They get hefty bonus for every game where they score or concede 3 goals. So if you can"t score them then you let opponents score to get to the magic number 3.

Since sarcasm and attempts to be funny often fall on deaf ears here in the forum, let me just say that above is of course joke, but could be true  you never know.

Great game by Chelsea, I was quite sure united is winning this but they decided to rest few players and paid the price. Who would have guessed, Arsenal and Chelsea in the final. That is the beauty of FA cup.
8754  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: July 19, 2020, 07:49:23 PM
GG everyone, 500 krill killed my chat options so I couldn't speak on SwC, hopefully this will get back to 50 krill before next tournament. These are my first points in this series, not much but better than 0.

Could have been much more if there wasn't that hand against @tyKiwanuka which demoted me from top 3 straight to the bottom. Good hand mate. By the way I forgot to tell you that your entry for Seria A predictor pool will be double  Grin see what I did there? A little fun and another advert for our pool

Good luck to all remaining players, I am on vacation on a remote island and we just lost electric power, so maybe it is better I am out of the game since my laptop is on 15%. Would be very nervous if I was gunning for the victory.

F... you all with 500+ krill. Easy to talk now when I can't talk back @efialtis I suspect foul play with management of SwC just to keep me quiet Smiley

Edit: I'll just add more comments as edit not really cool for my campaign otherwise:)
I have just over 200 krill, some of us have life and also I barely managed to convince my wife to let me play our tournament once a week.

Hhampuz is pulling a Sygambler  Wink
8757  Economy / Gambling / Re: #3 Bitcointalk Poker Series (0.05 BTC & BIG BTC Ticket sponsored by SwC Poker) on: July 19, 2020, 05:00:23 PM
Man I am stressed just played nba 2k with the little bro when realizing it’s 6:50 pm and poker time, lol

So you were probably loosing then Smiley I hate it when kids beat me in FIFA, no matter if they play it whole day long and I play one game a weak.

This 500 krill limit for chat is really a bit too much. 50 was sort of ok but this way over the top. Is there some way to remove that limit for out tournaments?
8758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 19, 2020, 10:58:36 AM
Hey guys, this season is finishing and I have decided to start advertising and checking the interest for next season paid prediction pool. Check out the link: La Liga Prediction Thread and join if you are interested. This year we had a free pool but there is not nearly enough incentive for players to take it seriously that way.

If there is some Spanish speaking people here, and there should be since it is La liga thread please share the link in your local section. Thank you.
8759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian Serie A Football Pool Discussion Thread on: July 19, 2020, 10:55:16 AM
I would be interested in joining too. Community games are always fun, although I am not that much into Serie A and generally poor with my pre-match predictions. But at least none of you guys will finish last, if I join Wink

Not familiar with Superbru and I wanted to know, if there is a restriction (possible and/or planned) on how often you can pick certain scores for a round ? In some private pools I joined in the past, you would always have people picking 2-1/1-1/1-0 for all games, so the most common results in football. This is kind of lame I think and always turned me off.

For escrow I am fine with you @Trofo or any other established member.
Glad you are interested, I will add you to the list. I have also just created a La Liga thread so you could check out that one as well.

There are no restrictions in Superbru you can pick the results you want as many times as you want. I have actually played this year free Serie A pool in a way that I entered 1:1 for all the games I wasn't sure. There will be no restrictions and I don't see a reason for them, I have taken part in this years paid Premier League and Champions League pools and haven't noticed and such problems. I can't guarantee that someone will not take that approach but I am quite sure most of us will do it by hart or research. These pools were a lot of fun and that is the reason why I am doing this. Feel free to check them, there are links in the OP as well.
8760  Economy / Gambling discussion / ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Spanish La Liga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: July 19, 2020, 10:49:30 AM

Main sponsor:
I am happy to announce that our main Sponsor for this year is Sportsbet.io
I believe no further introduction is necessary since we are talking about top crypto bookie here. I am sure you all have an account there and if you don't, what are you waiting for?
The deal includes:
1. 100 mBTC cash for pool rewards (over 3000$ at the moment)
2. 0.5 mBTC free bet for all participants paid when the league starts and we have final number of participants
3. 1 mBTC for each week yellow cap winner

Additional Sponsor
buwaytress - Branding, content strategy consultancy (fintech) | Non-profit project management (international development)
buwaytress added another 10 mBTC to the pool

How this pool works
Welcome to Spanish La Liga Prediction pool discussion thread. My intention is to run a pool on Superbru for the next season. This will be organized very similar as current Premier League Pool and Champions League pool. If you took part in any of them no need to read further, you already know most stuff.

For prediction we will use Superbru page and we will have complementary discussion topic here on the forum for participants only. Superbru has been around for years and they are very good at providing custom pools for all kinds of sports. The idea of the game is to predict correct scores from all the games which gives you max points (3). If you get outcome correct but not the score there is still some points awarded (1-1.5). The winner is the person with most points at the end of the season.

Buy in

This is a paid pool and buy in is set to 1.5m BTC, just about 45$ at this moment. This seems like a very fair price for whole year of prediction fun + nice prizes boosted by our sponsor. All the collected money will be used for prizes.

Old Rewards:
These are old rewards, new ones will probably be very similar. Depending on the number of sign ups we get.

Season 2023-20224 rewards structure:
1. Place - 60 mBTC (fees are paid from this prize)
2. Place - 35 mBTC
3. Place - 20 mBTC
4. Place - 15 mBTC
5. Place - 10 mBTC
6. Place -  6 mBTC
Highest overall yellow cap - 6 mBTC

Remarks:
*There is no sharing of the prizes, Superbru has implemented tie breakers and I will use their final table as basis to pay out rewards

Hopefully BTC will be worth much more by the time we end the pool and prizes will be so much better Smiley

Escrow and payment address (same as last year)
I am escrow for the funds on below mentioned address. In order to participate in the La Liga pool please pay 1.5 mBTC (around 33$ at the moment) to below address and send me a tx via pm so I know who sent the money. Be sure to include your Sportsbet and Superbru usernames in the same PM. After day or two check the paid participants part to see if I added you there for extra security. Thank you.
