8741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using low fees? on: June 08, 2017, 09:43:03 PM
Blockchain.info wallet implemented "priority" and "regular" fee. Last night I sent $200 worth with $8 fee and it got confirmed in 1.5 hrs.

Do you think it's fair with the transaction you did with them? $8 fee is a very big amount and 1.5 hours isn't that fast with that fee.

I will guess that it is a priority fee, I've been using blockchain.info with their regular and recommended fee.

I haven't tried to adjust the fees and there's no problem to me, it's not even getting delayed for so many hours just like others are complaining.
honsastly i think there is no point in paying high fees, you should only pay fees if you really need your transaction to get faster otherwise you are wasting your money, because reight now everyone is paying fees which means all transactions have the same priority so it is going to take the same time for them to preocess it as if we did pay regural fees

Well most of us wants a fast transaction but that's a good point, if you are not rushing to receive those bitcoins just use the normal fee.

The fees now are getting higher and higher and the exchange are adjusting it to increased amount, I don't understand this.

But if you are calm and you can wait it's your decision to increase or not your fees.
8742  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: June 08, 2017, 09:33:51 PM
I think investing Bitcoins is the only way to grow your Bitcoins. You can invest in various altcoins which are showing good rate of progress. I prefer ethereum, monero, iconomy and litecoin.
No, it's not the only way to grow your bitcoins. There are a lot of ways to grow your bitcoins, getting paid with bitcoin for your service is one of them.

But when it comes to investing, yes those choice of yours are profitable and you must be aware that only invest to those altcoins that has good marketcap.

8744  Economy / Economics / Re: Just Loss My 3BTC/$8,7xx by field Wrong address for widthrawal on: June 07, 2017, 08:12:39 PM
That's a lot and I'm in deep sad with that amount of tokens it's totally a big loss for any person.

And as jhenfelipe said I guess there is still a hope for you, once you have tried to contact bittrex admin maybe they can do something about it.

But in every person's part here, we can't something about it, that's one of the feature of crypto currency, transactions aren't reversible.
There are some malwares which change your BTC address on the clipboard memory to another address that belongs to hackers.
Possible this is the reason why you did got some wrong address, @op have you downloaded something before?

8747  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: June 06, 2017, 01:43:59 AM
There are many ways to earn Bitcoin online. You can go in for social media campaigns like Twitter campaigns. You can earn with help of signature campaigns. You can also earn by working on freelancer websites.

Joining social media campaign is a big plus factor on earning bitcoin and that is a very easy job, you just need to share or twit about them.

And there are a lot of social media campaigns here in forum where you can join and also get paid with alt coin.

So when you get paid, you can just use those alt coins for trading.
8748  Economy / Economics / Re: The Real Reason to Hold Gold And Bitcoin on: June 06, 2017, 01:30:09 AM
The reason is quite simple, just to diversify your investments so that if one fails the other will be there to assist. It makes every sense to have both Bitcoin and gold as your future investment.

Diversifying your investment to bitcoin and gold is the best decision that an investor will do.

But I doubt it that any of them will put you into failure, bitcoin and gold are good when it comes to existence and supply &  demand.

So while it is still early to invest to bitcoin, go invest now or you might regret not to do get into it.
8749  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Btc price on: June 06, 2017, 12:33:01 AM
Ang taas na ng price ng BTC ngayon. $2600 and feeling ko aabot talaga sya ng $3000 this year hopefully yes, and sana after the segwit may magandang mangyare sa BTC keya tayo hold lang muna guys im sure bright things will happen this year Smiley

8751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is useless or is it? on: June 05, 2017, 09:35:37 PM
Just because experiencing a normal problem in bitcoin you will say that it is useless and dead? where's the faith in bitcoin?

We need to understand as the difficulty increases, miners need to adjust the fee and as well with the price increase scenario.

We are computing base on the price of bitcoin and not with the quantity of bitcoin which is being set by them as fee.
I agree.Bitcoin has become our buddy the moment we started it.So if any normal problem  arise,is it proper to just put bitcoin as a dead investment and useless?I supposed we should be sympathetic instead.Sympathetic in the sense that we should understand its rising and depreciating value in some times.Bitcoin is not that perfect to be consistently growing. It may have also its ups and downs.

People today when it comes to fees are complaining that much. And we need to bear to our minds that if you don't want fees, just set it to the lowest that you can afford.

And it's why there are some upgrades that is going to happen and there will be an event on August 1.

Just don't think it's that useless or something like that, bitcoin is the best.
8752  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: June 05, 2017, 09:23:40 PM
Nice calculation and that is more encouraging to people that are holding not too many bitcoin but this is great.

I want to be part of those rich club very soon though I'm not that rich now as I'm earning exact amount to my needs.

We are all hoping and depending to the price of bitcoin and let's just keep hoping that there will be more increase to come soon.

I, too, are not yet rich, but I know for sure that I will only earn money by using cryptocurrency. This is a great tool and you need to learn how to use it. This will lead to the success and wealth of any person who wants it and is ready to work

Don't worry mate we are going close to it, once the price started to reach 5 digits soon. Even you only have 1 bitcoin, you will have good amount of savings.

And just keep on believing on this crypto as it proved a lot of things and people tend to make riches out of it.

Especially those early adopters that are now enjoying their money.

Basta law of supply and demand lang.
8756  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: June 03, 2017, 01:08:35 PM
We cannot encourage, we need to promote the bitcoin in the local businesses also in the small business because they cannot used it if they cannot know what it is. Moreover, using of bitcoin in local businesses were good but for now it is a big challenge to us, if how can make it true.

We can encourage for the few businesses and those people that we know personally.

But if we want to promote bitcoin solutions for businesses it's hard to make this type of marketing because we are endorsing bitcoin as a whole.

It's going to be a good promotion if you have a service to offer that accepts bitcoin.
8757  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: June 03, 2017, 12:45:32 PM
I first heard bitcoins through murmurings of my classmates way back 2013 if I can still recall.

They mostly talking about things on deep web and they are paying services there and entrance fees with bitcoin.

And I was like out of this world and didn't understand what they are talking.
8758  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kung magkakaroon ka ng skill from dota2 or LoL on: June 03, 2017, 07:47:37 AM

Tapos yung dalawa naman, time lapse at invisible hehe.
8759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: June 03, 2017, 07:15:53 AM
As long you can use bitcoin for transacting with other people and use it as a payment then it is money.

Money is something that we are using for exchanging goods and services and with bitcoin, we are doing the same thing.

So bitcoin is a real money to all of us.

Bitcoin is not a money, bitcoin is a currency, a digital currency. Money and currency has different meanings but can be used as a payment maybe online or offline. Money refers to gold andsilver, in the past it is gild coins and silver shillings, pearl is also one. Currency is what we call paper money, so if we say digital currency, it is a digital paper money. So bitcoin is a money? No, it is made or printed under the command of the government, It is centralized and it is not volatile.

People are changing the terms when it comes to currency or money. But if you will understand with it, currency and money is just the same.

Money is being used for buying goods and things that we need and in return for purchasing it, money is what we use.

Currency is the money used by a country, so for me it's just the same and they have no other meaning.
