What you mean before ICO? ICO means Initial Coin Offering. Am I right ? What is different ICO and Pre-ICO? They distributing free token for pre-ico ? Pre ICO means still they are raising fund. Re applying Leaving this here: Until yesterday, Full Member bucker steemit had not earned a single Merit. Yesterday, he applied to a signature campaign that requires him to earn 20 Merit. Just 25 minutes later, he received 10 Merit for this post, and 4 minutes later another 10 Merit for this post. A few minutes later he updated his post to confirm: "Merit Count: 120". It took him 33 minutes in total to reach the Merit requirements. Both accounts that sent him Merit have red trust already. It's not enough proof to tag him ?

Another option would be the removal of merit which will go back to the sender. But it's much harder to implement I guess. I agree that merit abuse went too far on this forum.
This would be better, but the merit should just be burned and not sent back. By this way merit system will be erosion day by day. In case if merited post deleted by moderators ? Result will be same , I mean erosion of merit. |

I'm sure people have already brought this up before, but would there be a possibility to add poll options to posts?
I think it would be great when asking the community for various opinions, polls could be avaiable from higher ranks for example to avoid spamming them.
I am not clear what you mean. Ther is already poll option. Do you want it disable for lower rank ? If yes then why ? I didn't noticed people spaming by create poll. Or if you don't know about here is poll option from beginning than locked the thread from lower left. |

Just it's come one mind from Vod answer. There is no evidence for merit abuser if post has deleted. We still know who you sent it to and how many you sent - we just don't know the content of the post. Although I given answer there, but I think subject should be highlight. If some one abuse merit system and after got merit just delete the post, We will not find the content actually it was deserved merit or not. So how it will be if "Disble delete option for merited post". So abuser will not able to delete. Since merit abuse isn't moderate by forum, DT could handle this kind of case. Usually DT never tag for merit abuser if case isn't with clear and strong evidence. Edit: After merit implementation for jr. Member , I think this kind of case increasing. Hope admin will consider Disable delete option on merited post. |

You can't hide evidence by deleting posts. We still know who you sent it to and how many you sent - we just don't know the content of the post. Example: https://bpip.org/smerit.aspx?to=PavelRostovIt says "Deleted Post" for each post that has been removed. We can see only merit history. But we will not able to see the post really it's deserve merit or not. Delete option should be disable from merited post. Easily fixed. I can start recording the content of merited posts as soon as they are mertted. I can display that content if the post is deleted.

That is exactly what I have just explained. Moderating scams gives the perception that the forum is taking responsibility and that will lead to people blaming the forum when they get scammed by something the forum didn't lock or delete. I am not asking for moderating forum themselves. I am asking if any accusation about any ICO and if moderators think accusation is valid enough that case should be locked or delete thread. Like if we report spam post than moderator delete post. |

Scams aren't moderated so they are unlikely to get involved even if proven. You can let others know via another thread like you have done or by contacting those that are "wasting their time", but the moderators will not lock or do anything due to scams not being moderated.
Finally they scammed people. I was requested to lock that thread, but it wasn't happened. Ann was locked by manager but bounty thread wasn't locked. If case is about fake team and there is enough proof like I was given, similar bounty and ANN Thread should be removed. Because no one is blind here, every one will able to see that really team is fake or not. If team picture collected from stock image website or over internet, there is clear forecast they can scam any time. This kind of ICO thread should locked at least. |

I was make thread about this case. Question: Moderator can lock thread in case there is proven scam or OP are ban. Even I report post with evidence moderators didn't delete or lock thread. I can see a couple of problems with that. If the forum gets involved in moderating scams then when someone does get scammed they are going to blame the forum moderators for letting it happen. Conflict of interest might also crop up if a moderator is involved in doing business on the forum they could get accused of shutting out the competition.
I know it's not moderated by forum. But why ? Answer is scam can't be identify easily and if moderate scam by forum people will blame if they got scam. Yes it's enough reason to not moderate. Another question, If some one use team picture from stock image, that is not enough reason to delete thread ? We are blind here ? If I post scam accusation proof of with fake team, forum members are blind? No one can confirm that picture is collected from stock image ? Than why can't delete or lock thread ? |

Some time there is many sensitive case that can't be solve by reporting or moderators leave it " unhandled ". In that case we should create a thread if case is really worthful. It doesn't mean we are self promoting or posting for increase activity or merit. Some times need to make thread to pay attention for moderator and admin. And of course we need more moderator for forum. Because daily members quantity is increasing. |
