Yes i also think like many people here that the cap is high. The soft cap is 30 million, it’s a huge amount, maybe developp AI and Robotics things are very expensive. We will see if the amount is reached and what the team can do with that.
Well I assume AI and Robotic is really expensive as a research field. Just imagen how much Tesla burned as money for their developments (several hundred millions), and I assume that is somehow comparable, as this is not a field for just one year of work. it's gonna take a long time to get this to work. and a lot of money. if you look at what they want to achieve , they're not asking for a lot. For sure they need a lot of money to start the project. They have to build the facilities, buy the machinery,... that need a lot of money. 30 million is a huge amount for an soft cap but I think thay can get it. They should look into other companies doing similar stuff, e.g. MassTech Institute or some Japanese companies so they may learn from others' experience. |

A lot of data and information's are needed for this kind of project, similar to building up a new social platform, thats why it will be tricky to attract such a huge number of users and make them feel they are rewarded for their ratings. I guess we will have to wait for the start of their platform to see, if their approach will be good enough.
In this beginning, the platform needs to intencivize people to use this platform more than just reward them with tokens. And after its popular enough, people will come by themselves. How else would you suggest to encourage people for using REPU except for rewarding them with tokens? That's pretty much the only one and the most effective way, imo. Maybe an event like a monthly / weekly award for the most active users, or something like that. And/or the bonuses for those with the most ranked so that people may see that the more they score, the more they get |

I really like the possibility to have a streaming platform where I can pay in crypto, and a lot of features in cryptoflix are interesting. The best is the possibility to fund film I think.
I wonder how they will get out the volatility of the currency regarding the payment The prices will be ever changing in USD for example, but stable in crypto I guess |

Will users be able to participate with sharing information's in any way? I know its not planned like that, but it would be really interesting, if it would turn into a kind of wikipedia of health and medicine, where users could contribute to it.
As far as I understood this project it implies a completely different. And self-medication does not lead to anything good! Unqualified self-proclaimed health 'experts' are everywhere and it is recommended that people avoid them for their own health's sake Yeah, health should be held by people who understand and has experience in it. In health, even a simple mistakenly written could lead a big disaster. thats the point where I see the big chance oaf ehealth I only hope that "couch experts" will not be allowed to give their "authorized" opinion and do not let other beople believe in what they are writing |

SENS is the program where Aubrey De Grey is the chief science officer, so they are linked. If SENS really linked with ehealth then this is a very good news for this project. The fact that some of the trust system that are now being used can be abused if not it can be fixed or bought is a big obstacle to this kind of platform, if somehow they can minimize or completely remove it, this platform will be used by many.
That is the major issue in every trust system. People don't simply follow what the trust system displays now, everyone will try to confirm it and then work accordingly. Would like to know how repu will work on this. People always finds a way of cheating in this kind of systems. Repu is going to be very focus on this so I hope they can develop a system who works well in most of the cases. I think that blockchain included in this upcoming raputation system will greatly help in getting rid of any faking while rating |

CRYPTOFLIX is good concept but would be nice if actual content also stored via decentralize storage. Can improve quality and security.
When you say decentralized storage, you mean some sort of open source storage? I don't think it's possible simply because everyone will watch movies for free I guess Maybe he means that users should be able to download the free content and store it on their computers and would stream it to other users. A bit like Bittorrent maybe. The blockchain itself is like bittorrent peer-to-peer system. The question is how the company will get paid if there will be decentralized storage. |

At the beginning i was aöso sceptical at least because of the long roadmap.
But as long as I follow the project every step is very good. For example the 300 page Whitepaper
which describes the project pretty good.
This project has an unusual timeline:) to 2025, being sceptical is normal imo. But Aubrey's connections with Vitalik, a very long, detailed whitepaper is building a huge trust in me. The roadmap is pretty unusual for crypto but looking at the planning and information provided in the wp, it is clear that it is a serious team with clear ideas. It's good that the team is honest about the fact it will take years to finish the project. You will get back these years when eHealth extends your lifespan in return.  If everything will go in this project as intended, then the longer it will be in total the better. Frankly, such project should be endless or at least without any visible end. |

The amount of ETH they raised is pretty good. I just hope the amount they are raising(USD) will be enough for the future of the project. It's quite a lot of money beside the project seems to be starting up with solid partnerships like Porche Really? I dont know anything about a partnership with Porche. Where can i see/read the information about it? I am not sure about Porsche but i remember land rover and Jaguar was mentioning in their whitepaper. Yeah Land Rover already has a shop in the demo app if i remember correctly. Cooperation with such big companies may be a key indicator for the company's future success. Way to go, devs! |

Yes a demo is a nice way to make investors more confident in the project. And i also think that we are a lot here who want to see at what REPU platform and system will look like.
Maybe a little video like ingame footage videos will be fine before ICO. maybe demo isn't ready in every aspect but seeing a portion of REPU can easily increase sales. I would say the demo videos may attract as well as deter potential investors form getting involved into the project. While creating promo materials (e.g. videos), one should be very cautious I think REPU team is experienced enough to create a demo video that can attract investor not deter them, i have faith in them. But of course they should be cautious, any misunderstanding can create catastropic results for the project. Making a demo can lead bad results because it is hard to control a beta. But for demo, i think the risk is minimal. I don't think there would be any problem with it. I agree with you about controlling a beta phase with all bugs or errors, investors can run away from the project. But a video creates a controlled area, just a footage what can REPU do is fine. Videos can be engineered.. a proof of concept is in my opinion much better than a video. absolutely agreed on this one, I have seen some low quality videos , which they even use a template (not specifically repu other ico). Everyone can create a video like that if you know how to use after effects now Well, why not two of these things together? Just putting nice strategy concept into video - that would be better in pursuading people than just doing it on paper |

well, so far the ico hasn't started yet, maybe we get some impressions how the platform looks like.
I think they must show investors at last video with demonstation of their platform. But better to have some demoversion ready before starting ICO Exactly! A lot of famous YouTubers (like Ian balina) who review ico's won't even look at a project unless there is some kind of prototype. And these guys can create a lot of good buzz for a project. So I'm hoping something will be released or shown True if you could get Ian Balina on board as an advisor, i'm pretty sure the ICO will sell out in a second. Well, I thought of this some time before. If they manage to collaborate with some famous video bloggers, that would be the best promotion |

With the decline of Facebook, now is a great time for another social media platform to take it's place. Facebook is beginning to feel old and stale and no matter what, in the future a social media platform will need to be made on the blockchain for security and efficiency. Sphere can make it work, though of course a lot of hard work will need to be put in.
i hope this will be the next big thing. you're right on facebook being in decline though. original content has been dropping on the platform lately. in 2007 myspace is the best social media, now where is myspace? In internet graveyard i think. Facebook can be like that, i know that facebook is huge but nokia was huge once. sphere can change the game. How is Sphere different with those social sites, cryptocurrency? I think main difference is thats new:) you can gain some SATS by referring your friends and privacy is still yours, you dont have to share with a company (not facebook but the facebooks customers, advertisers) So its more like an ads platform than a social platform. Im saying this because, facebook users seems to be declining or declining in activities than before. To survive in today's world, you have to include some ads into your project. They have a huge support team and a eye catching project so social media follower numbers should be high. That is not extraordinary, that's just normal, team has to increase traffic imo. If these are real people interested in the project, the devs should await great opportunities. Word of mouth will help a lot in this case |
