881  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Weird Problem with Blockchaininfo. Please help me out. on: October 06, 2017, 09:31:09 AM
Yes i accepted now that the money is gone. I factory reseted my computer now and changed all my passwords. I wont use the wallet at blockchain info anymore. I already got elsewhere an other one and everything just worked fine after the factory reset. Thanks to all of you for your help.

That just confirms that you were infected by a virus and not some kind of bug on blockchain.info's end. I'm still using my personal blockchain.info wallet without any issues. Unfortunately, the hacker just got the better of you this time.

Next time, avoid this by always having an up to date OS, install all patches, have an antivirus. I personally use a mac so i don't need to worry about much since most viruses target windows, but i still carry out these procedures to safeguard my funds. Bitcoin is irreversible, so you should always put the safety of your funds first.
882  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [URGENT!!!!!!] CEX.IO BANNED MY ACCOUNT IN 5 DAYS, REASON: PEPS* on: October 06, 2017, 09:20:42 AM
Damn, feel sorry for you. You really seem like innocent person that is being judged without evidence here.

Your best bet though is probably take your money and get out of cex.io as quick as possible, before they don't allow you to even withdraw your funds. I'm not sure if you have heard but recently there has been a lot of issues people are having with cex.io support and withdrawals, you are actually pretty lucky to even be able to withdraw at the moment.
883  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Pump and dump bot? What do you think? on: October 06, 2017, 09:18:34 AM
If the idea works obviously it is going to be extremely interesting.

However, pumps can't really be predicted via TA but rather it's all about the hype surrounding the pumps. How a bot can analyze hype, i have no idea. Although i guess sideways movements are a good indication of a pump incoming and bot can pick it up as a signal.

There will definitely be risks involved, however.

885  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise to 4300 $ on: October 05, 2017, 04:24:19 AM
bitcoin prices will rise above $ 4500 in the near term. well, it can be said that bitcoin prices today can be an opportunity for investors, to buy bitcoin in large quantities. I think the price will go back up again.

Experincing a short term adjustment right now. Price has gone up pretty much every day for the past week until yesterday and this adjustment is price is no big surprise - just a small setback before another pump in my opinion.

Thing is, there are a lot of institutional investors waiting to enter bitcoin. For instance, JP Morgan is trading btc even though Jamie Dimon seems to be against it and Goldman Sachs is seriously considering to trade btc as well.

The price could dip below $4100 before recovering to $4500+.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can hit 5000$ before november?? on: October 05, 2017, 03:31:32 AM
I very much think that bitcoin is going to be able to break the all time high set in September/August and finally break the $5k resistance barrier as well. A big pump is now long overdue and i can see positive bull markets returning.

I think that right now, we're experiencing a short term correction before going up further to $4500-4600. Then from there, we'll rise up to around $5000 just before the Segwit2x fork process begins.

The fork could cause a bit of panic and bring prices down temporarily, but if fork is successful then price could go up even more.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / What leverage do you use on bankroll investments? on: October 05, 2017, 03:01:51 AM
In some casinos where you can invest your bitcoin into the bankroll and earn from it, you are able to also leverage your investment so that the amount of profits/losses you make are magnified without having to actually deposit more money into the investment pot.

What kelly multiplier do you personally use and what do you think is the right balance between safety and risk?

Let me know with your replies Smiley
888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best strategy on Freebitco.in and Bitsler on: October 05, 2017, 02:33:23 AM
I am a regular gambler on freebitco.in and bitsler spending over 6 hours on the site almost everyday, i have invested a lot on the 2 sites and play many times using different strategies and settings but am always losing at the end. Pls is there any best strategy to win on these sites?

None. Probabilities say that the more you gamble the more you lose(due to the house edge). So it doesn't really matter if you have a strategy or not, statistically speaking. You are just as likely to win a certain amount of money with a strategy than without a strategy.

One of the most common strategies i see people use and i personally use is martingale. However, this usually ends up busting. I suggest playing with a higher base bet and a lower roll count, to speed things up.

BTW, you should see gambling as fun, not a way of earning money.
889  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: XAPO are now allowing people to withdraw their bitcoincash on: September 28, 2017, 05:17:07 AM
See this blogpost:

https://blog.xapo.com/time-to-convert-your-bitcoin-cash-bch/

They're giving people two options a) withdraw the bitcoincash and b) sell the BCH for bitcoin.

But they're setting a deadline of December 14th 2017. If you haven't withdrawn or sold by then, you lose your bitcoincash coins.

Well that was a long wait.

I doubt that there will be many people that has any sort of BCH balance on Xapo at all because Xapo did not give out a specific timeline for the events after 1st August and most people withdrew their balances beforehand.

But yeah, kudos to them for making this happen, at least. But they are probably one of the slowest exchanges/wallets to do so.
890  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is crytopia a reliable trading exchange? on: September 28, 2017, 04:39:52 AM
There has been some new coins listed but seems like transaction is not going on well.

I've used them, and i like their site even though it does seem like that their design may be inadequate at times. Their volume is quite low but i like the fact that they have a community and even like a marketplace along with their exchange.

Has a lot of coins listed as well, but expect spreads to be high.

I haven't really heard any complaints, honestly. But still, use at your own risk. They're not a big exchange so there is a risk as always.
891  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Any latest updates on Poloniex's withdrawal problems? on: September 28, 2017, 03:46:16 AM
I want to start trading on Poloniex again but I want to know if the delays with withdrawals are fixed. I havent seen any new threads complaining about them, so is it safe to assume that everything is safe and good with them?

Persoanlly i would not risk it. Poloniex isn't even that great anymore considering the fact that their volume has gone significantly down and they're not even in the top 5 altcoin exchanges anymore. Bittrex has achieved higher volume on a regular basis.

Plus, poloniex support still is quite shitty and i've still heard lots of people complain.

So unless you are only exchanging small amounts that you are willing to lose, don't use them.
892  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Which is the best bitcoin wallet? on: September 28, 2017, 03:44:25 AM
I need some help here
What do you think about myceliun wallet?
Is this wallet are safe to use?

Mycelium is alright.

If you are looking for a web wallet then i'd say for a entry level beginner, blockchain.info is probably still the best option. However, greenaddress deserves a mention as well since they're probably one of the earliest web wallets available and they've got a lot more functionality.

For desktop wallets, definitely either copay or electrum.
893  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Liqui.io hacked???? on: September 28, 2017, 03:08:45 AM
Hey guys,

Not trying to spread fud or anything but I am very worried and wanted to see if anything strange is happening to anyone else on Liqui.

I just setup an account recently and bought some kyber network coin. I logged in today to check balances and it was showing me some coins i never bought and kyber was missing! So I began to freak out and checked to see if i was hacked. I had 2fa on and no recent login attempts except my own! Also strange thing is it was showing on the kyber network coin trade page I had my balance available of kyber to trade, but when I went to the actual balances page it was gone. Also I checked to see if anyone did withdrawals and it was showing a bunch of older withdrawals that I never did and couldn't have done because it was from an earlier date before i set the account up. I am seriously worried there is a fatal bug in Liqui or something because this doesn't make sense. I have screenshots for proof too.

I've noticed that there are a lot of complaints regarding their deposits and withdrawals as well as their support ticket system not doing what it's supposed to do. So yeah, this is dhefinitely fishy and only recently they've suffered a ddos attack as well.

I would recommend staying away from them right now. Until they solve all their existing issues, anyways.

At least you didn't lose all your money. Get the hell out, while you still can.
894  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Recipients provider changed receive wallet address! on: September 28, 2017, 03:03:27 AM
I have sent some money via bitcoin to a friend who is currently staying in China. I used CoinCorner.com to buy my BTC and then sent them to a wallet address supplied by my friend from a local online provider. The first payment was received, no problem. I then sent a second payment two days later to the same wallet address (and confirmed by coincorner.com). But my friend's provider had subsequently allocated him a new receive wallet address leaving him unable to access the money in the original wallet address. My friend emailed the contact at his service provider (Blockchain) and got this response: 'unfortunately we are unable to assist as a third party between buyers and third parties. Please contact the exchange or merchant you were working with in order to resolve the issue'. So armed with only the original receive wallet address how can we go about recovering the second payment? Many thanks

Blockchain.info uses BIP39 to generate addresses within the wallet.

Therefore there is really no way that your friend received their first transaction at the address but didn't receive the second transaction(if the transactions were actually sent to them, of course), unlesshe deleted the address from his wallet which i'm not sure if it's even possible.

Tell him to refresh his wallet, or even export his wallet to another wallet provider.
895  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Liqui.io - No Support = Stealing Coins on: September 28, 2017, 02:57:26 AM
It has been over a month and no response at all. Unfortunate, they could have been a legit exchange. #ticket9993

Have you tried to DM them on twitter?

If this accusation is true and they have indeed ignored your tickets for over a month then this is unacceptable. I mean they are clearly still adding new coins to the exchange(they've only recently added Kyber Network Tokens to their exchange).

But they've been running for quite a while now. Just keep trying to reach them, whatever way possible.
896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining Bitcoin Case Study Week Five on: September 28, 2017, 02:44:09 AM
Below is a link to my ongoing Genesis Mining Bitcoin cloud mining case study! So far we are in week five, take a look to see how close to ROI I am so far!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGIr5BENMNQ

There are definitely some interesting statistics.

I guess Genesis Mining could work if you are investing at a time when it is nowhere near a halving or a halving just occurred. For me i invested just before the halving happened, and they just erased my contract off of my account.

Hopefully you do get some profit as well as a full ROI. Looking forward to future episodes.
897  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coine.xyz - Not receiving notifications for 2 days? on: September 28, 2017, 02:39:44 AM
I've been a long time subscriber of the trading signal bot Coine, which basically gives you free signals on whether you should buy, sell, or hold your bitcoin right now. However, in the past 2 days i have not received any sort of notification from them via email, which is very odd.

Is anyone else having the same issue or is it just me?

If admin of the site can take a look at what's wrong, that'll be great too.

The site is down right now it seems.

I had subscribed to this bot in my old email and looking at my email history, it does seem like that the last two days i have not received any updates on bitcoin price from them. I don't personally use the service anymore, but if you want to use it, contact the admin on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/user/alemik

Though you may not get a response since their last post was around a year ago.
898  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoincollector a legit site? on: September 28, 2017, 01:19:53 AM
http://www.bitcoincollector.net/

 Huh

Kinda new here, trying to get/earn some and learn the bitcoin/crypto currency biz.  I mined some (very little) and brought some (again, just like $5 worth) just to get a taste of bitcoin.

Been searching for a few sites to help me load up a bit faster, came across this.  Also searched here, and just seen like 2-3 old topics about it.

So do anyone else here have any experience using this site to gain bitcoins?  Any help would be appreciated!

This is mostly an abandoned project. The micropayments processor that they use isn't even alive anymore, which means that you are probably better off using another faucet rotator. There is plenty out there, just search it up.

Anyways, faucets aren't a good choice for earning btc at all because it is so time consuming and gives you so little reward.

I would do something else like look for freelancing jobs.
899  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chart of the Day | Bitcoin Above $4000 on: September 28, 2017, 12:52:00 AM
Bitcoin markets went through a bumpy road, only to reach back above $4000 today. BTC/USD markets are continuing to showcase bullish tendencies after the cryptocurerncy broke through this resistance level.

Chart source:
https://cryptocoincharts.info/pair/btc/usd/bitfinex/10-days

This should only be the start of the pump.

I really would not be surprised, at all, if the price went up even further in the next couple of weeks. There is a renewed optimism that could easily take us to levels of more than $5-6k by the end of the year.

However in the next few days i think that the price should not act too much but only hang around the current level.
900  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud mining on: September 27, 2017, 11:31:53 PM
No worries can you point us in right direction of good cloud mining site?

Well, there isn't really a "good" cloud mining site.

The thing is, the legit ones like genesis mining and so on will not make you much profit at all. You'd be lucky to even get the majority of your initial invested funds back from your investment. The returns are tiny, even if you do make a profit.

On the other hand, sites that are shady like the one you were asking abou(iqmining) are all scams and will take your money eventually. I would recommend staying away from all cloud mining sites.
