881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: April 15, 2017, 01:38:06 PM
A few weeks back, I invested and bought some PIVX but I acted out of fear and sold everything I had, even though the price didn't really decrease that much. I want to be back to game, the coin is now too expensive to buy 10,000 and run a Masternode so I would like to know what are those Staking rewards everyone is talking about and what to do in order to get them?
882  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Understanding better 2FA use cases on: April 15, 2017, 08:23:13 AM
When you first added 2FA, they gave you a QR code to scan using Google authenticator and under that code, there was a 16 digit key, that should help you recover your account If you lost access to your phone. Without that key, you will simply lose access to your account. If you forgot to type it and you still can reach your phone then I suggest deactivating your 2FA and activating it once again so they give you another one.
883  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin transfer unconfirmed and resend it blockchain wallet on: April 15, 2017, 07:08:48 AM
Your transactions are both confirmed now but for future transactions, I suggest paying more fees as they were kinda low and with the whole unconfirmed TX and the spam attack bitcoin is having right now, that would be the only solution If you want to make a fast transactions.
884  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex or Bittrex on: April 15, 2017, 06:41:23 AM
I will choose Poloniex over Bittrex anytime, for multiple reasons actually, I prefer the GUI they have and the black theme they use, I also like the fact that they use cold storage to hold most of their funds so If a hack occurs, there will be no real damages. If we come to compare the trading volumes then Polo have at least x10 of what Bittrex have, not to mention diversity, where Polo have more coins to trade.
885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum contract tokens on: April 14, 2017, 06:06:04 PM
Hello,

I want to know how to store Etheureum contract tokens like Humaniq for an example on an Ethereum wallet or in a Ledger Nano S?

Best Regards,

Myetherwallet is probably the best choice you have as there are no requirements such as downloading the whole blockchain etc. I must tell you that Humaniq is a new project though, so Its not supported by default in Myetherwallet, you will simply have to add the contract address which should be provided by Humaniq If they already distributed the tokens. Ledger Nano S support Myetherwallet and in the description on their site they say that ERC20 is supported so I suppose you could also send tokens through their application in the Chrome store.
886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: aaaand here we go again on: April 14, 2017, 05:08:34 PM
I could be wrong but isn't this likely to be from bitcoin unlimited somehow? I also would like to point that PushTX from BTC.com (acquired by bitmain who by the way supports BU) are down for maintenance, Is it possible that they have done that in purpose to make people use BU instead?
887  Economy / Goods / Re: PHILIPS BEARD TRIMMERS & SHAVERS | ONLY $10 EACH on: April 14, 2017, 03:19:22 PM
He didn't connect since two days either. I doubt this is a scam though, the items that will come are probably from Philips themselves but the way used to obtain these items is definitely not something legit/legal . I see a lot of services like this one in Mpgh forums, It's called social engineering. I don't suggest using this even If OP deliver the products as you may run into trouble.
888  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How much money should I reserve to escrow-experts? on: April 14, 2017, 02:52:05 PM
I'm a little bit confused here, are you looking for an escrow for your transaction with a developer or there is an experienced developer who is building an automatic escrow for you? Escrows here usually take ~1% fees of the transaction, If you want to pay someone to build an escrow for you, then It's probably the developer who should give you the price.
889  Other / Meta / BARADED Spamming on: April 14, 2017, 09:13:46 AM
I didn't download whatever he shared on his Google drive link but I must say that the spam is real and he keep posting the same messages in irrelevant topics over and over, I thought Its best to report the account instead of the posts themselves because there are many.

890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum for ICO crowdsale. Why the change in choices? on: April 13, 2017, 09:11:29 AM
I don't think there is any particular reason, at least nothing that is against bitcoin. It's probably because of the fact that ICOs nowadays are using Ethereum Smart-contracts and tokens are ERC20 on the ETH blockchain so It's more convenient to use it but usually, ICOs accept multiple cryptocurrencies as a way to participate.
891  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Public Lottery Script [NEED MORE IDEA] on: April 12, 2017, 05:31:21 PM
Despite the fact that I hate gambling and anything associated with it, your idea is not going to work. I can give you at list of gambling sites that turned into a scam after a short period of time. It's all about trust and making something centralized with the admin thing you mentioned is just not recommended (using an escrow won't make things decentralized either).
892  Economy / Service Discussion / UASF for advertising? on: April 12, 2017, 05:11:55 PM
I don't like accusing anyone of anything usually but from the look of it, on reddit, It looks like a lot of services are simply tweeting that they support UASF and just post it on reddit and get several upvotes while there is probably no way to confirm those allegations, that they actually support the UASF proposal. What I'm trying to say here is that they are taking advantage of the current situation simply to get more users.
893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Maximizing Autotraded Alt Currencies on: April 12, 2017, 04:14:54 PM
You actually have two options right now. C.A.T which support more exchanges and exists for a longer period of time or Gunbot that only supports Poloniex, and that's what you are looking for, It's more advertised then C.A.T though but only came out a few months ago so taking a look at the feedback could help you more.
894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: April 12, 2017, 02:37:25 PM
-snip-

They should've done the modifications on their team sometime ago honestly because the more developers they have, the faster they could've finished working on the platform and we wouldn't have to wait months since the first date they promised, hopefully now, we will see a lot of progress.
895  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YO-EX.com a legitimate exchange to use for alt coin trading? on: April 11, 2017, 06:21:27 PM
There is a decent trading volume on their site so I'm sure If things went wrong, people would've reported already. I asked them about the altcoins being traded there and they said that there will be more to come soon. In the meantime, you could check the full list at CoinMarketCap.
896  Economy / Reputation / Re: WTF!? Nobody cares if scammers are active here?? Admin??? on: April 11, 2017, 05:07:22 PM
A scam accusation posted in the proper format should be more then enough to make DefaultTrust members to leave negative trust in his profile. The thing is that people buy accounts, use VPNs and Tor etc. banning will definitely won't do anything. If you are trading with someone, you should check his trust and that should make you decide If you are going to trade with him or not.

The difference between us and forums where banning is done for scammers is that they don't allow multiple accounts or they have some restrictions when It comes to posting in the marketplace section and that's not the case here.
897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prypto.com down for maintenance --- Down 4 ever? on: April 11, 2017, 03:51:03 PM
The latest tweet they made was in 31th March, which is 11 days ago and from what they said, It looks like they are still active unless they was down for maintenance before the 31th then In that case, I doubt they will come back because no announcements has been made. I don't see a reason on why would they state that they will comeback shortly If they are not, though.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: April 11, 2017, 02:51:24 PM
I'm the only facing this issue or they actually didn't add other altcoins yet? the first page, before entering your account, says that It's possible to trade Ethereum, BTC, Monero, Dash and others while I only see YOC/YOG/BTC/USD tickers when I'm on the markets page.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan's Electronic Giant Bic Camera officially started accepting Bitcoin on: April 11, 2017, 02:17:47 PM
I'm more optimistic then ever when It comes to bitcoin future at this point, Japan regulated bitcoin and they consider it as a real payment method now, this should make people feel more secure and confident knowing that what ever happened to Mt.gox in the past won't happen again and encourage companies and individuals to start using it.
900  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitrated: Bringing trust back to Bitcoin on: April 10, 2017, 05:54:20 PM
If you have visited their website, they have a video on the front page that explains how they do it. So let us say, if you bought a camera online from a merchant using Bitcoin and the merchant did not deliver your order, what is your recourse?

The offers a reputation system where merchants can build reputation. If many customers give them a good rating then other customers will find them trustworthy. Smiley

The reputation system could indeed help finding trustworthy people however It won't prevent scams. It's no secret that people are now building trust in the forums and other sites just to scam big at the end of the day. An escrow can't know for sure If the seller actually scammed or the buyer actually didn't receive the ordered items In that case.
