881  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes Bitcoin to move this fast? on: January 11, 2018, 02:49:57 PM
It is moving fast due to the increasing users that makes it as one of their income through various ways such as investing, trading, mining or even just by joining campaigns. It is very indemand that people doesn't have to go through the long process of waiting.
Yeah, users are increasing every day, exchanges are getting upgraded everyday due to the level at which users are popping into them and that is one thing to make us certain that this would keep going as fast as we can ever imagine.

The fact remains that things are different from the way they use to be before and people are getting to see the clear picture of how crypto is here to remove those shackles that governments have placed all these while. Always demand alone will decide how fast bitcoin to move. So, in near future we can expect bitcoin to move faster than what we have seen into those in 2017.
882  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's that unfair for those who don't have bitcoin in the future ? on: January 10, 2018, 06:32:17 PM
Let them buy alts
Simple as ABC. Anyone who thinks it is very unfair; it is a world where there are huge chances. If you are willing to take the risk those who took earlier when they bought into bitcoin with the high level of uncertainty, there are some alts with such huge risk now that you can buy into and wait maybe 5-8 years to see if it is fair enough for those buying then to buy at the same price you bought it now it or not.
883  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 09, 2018, 03:18:06 PM
No, it's hardly ever going to be cheap again. Maybe the price will go down a bit but I don't think it will be less than 10k.
As far as I am concerned now, Christmas shopping is over and anyone who decided not to take the chance at the dip to load up more will only see their hearts being shattered when bitcoin starts a new bull run for the year. It could, it may not and no one knows but the present stage we are now is one to really watch out for because that would determine the next value we are going.
884  Economy / Economics / Re: 2017 Was Bitcoin's Year. 2018 Will Be ....... on: January 09, 2018, 01:54:05 PM
There's no doubt that the year of 2017 is the rising of Bitcoins because of the value grows big and reach 19k USD.And I think this year will be the year of Altcoins and one of that is Ripple. It certainly sets all time price high above 3USD.It also became second biggest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. And even made the co-founder as one of the world's richest people now.He surpass the net worth of Google and Oracle founders. And this year,Ripple will make noise in the social medias and the value of it will continue increase.
Early this month, we should even go back to test the previous top and that is the exact moment I am really looking forward to and waiting for to start seeing the next way up. For now, we have been rallying and throwing just some little bit of leg up gradually and I can imagine how long or early this is going to end up getting before we start seeing the up.
885  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: January 09, 2018, 01:21:48 PM
Do you think bitcoin is controversial?

Yes, i think bitcoin is controversial because its not yet legalized internationally and many people doesnt have enough idea about it so it is something argumentative.
It is even normal for every new technology to get controversial and most especially when it is disruptive in nature and seems to attack the main system that has been in place and will affect some powerful ones most especially in the banking sector. Also, like you said, a lot of people really do not have a slight idea about bitcoin and they mainly just seem to get the wrong picture.
886  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earn bitcoins and altcoins on: January 06, 2018, 08:04:36 AM
I guess the holy grail is actually earning bitcoins or altcoins to increase velocity. I have a beta site where you can pm if your interested in a beta trial about earning it.

However id like to engage with you all to ask what would increase velocity, i think people actually earning is the only way and would work as a parralel currency to fiat. What sites do ppl use to earn coinz apart from buying of course.

Earning bitcoin and Altcoin needs time and hard work. It is not so easy. I have spent a lot of time to reach to this level. I am earning handsome money but it is not from the very first day. It took a long time. It also needs patience; determination and consistency then you will be able to earn bitcoin or Altcoin. Most of the people try to earn bitcoin because the price of one bitcoin is about 20000 dollars and the rest of the currencies are far behind and the profit margin is also low.
It depends on what you are doing really so I would not say everything requires a lot of hard work. Signature, bounty and some few little services you can render would not require so much activity from you except few hours of your day and they can really pay a lot.

Nevertheless if you are venturing into stuffs like trading, that is where you will really need some high level of hard work and some great effort to earn some good profit.
887  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Trading! on: January 06, 2018, 07:17:53 AM
Cryptocurrencies are one of the most profitable markets in the industry of trading. But a very volatile market that can cause big gains and loss. In order to be succesfull it is not all about having experience or skills, you should also define a set of rules and what strategy you are going to use.
Use fundamental and technical Analysis, by making use of that you are a one step ahead trader and you will know how to read the price movement to avoid losses.
Also make advantage ot the time. Make sure that when you are buying you know that you will gain profit.
Lastly, learn how to take and manage the risks. We are in a fast growing digital market which can lead to an easy loss.
You cannot do without both of them, but you need to have the skill first which you can get from using some of the resources online to learn and from there you can gradually build up on it as well as the experience. Experience is usually the best teacher but you should not opt for it first so you can know how to start trading effectively and then from there you will keep getting better.

Skills first and then experience will follow. The only way you can get the best from trading is to learn and with that, you can make the best use of the trading environment to practice some of the things you have learned and as time goes on, you will keep getting some experience and those experience would make you to be a better trader over time.
888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Site on: January 06, 2018, 05:59:12 AM
To be honest, none of existing exchanges can satisfy my needs. If you ever traded in trading terminal you will understand what I am talking about. Web pages are not that convenient.
Yes, I feel what you feel bro. The truth is that these web exchanges cannot really satisfy you which were even the reason I had to just make use of coinigy for most of them. Until we start having some good interface, one may not be able to get the best experience from these trading platforms.

Some are still better than the other, but for now, it seems we just have to stick with the ones we feel can do it ok. Bittrex is not bad as well as binance, but you will have to get use to the platform.
889  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: January 06, 2018, 05:42:36 AM
Basically altcoins are more profitable than bitcoin. Bitcoins are a good investment, but it can't go 100x or 1000 easily in a short timeframe like altcoins can especially those that are sleeping for ages, under the radar and very cheap.
Somehow, and they are still very much risky as well. I understand that we can hardly see such a huge percentage increase on bitcoin compared to altcoin where we have seen more than 5000% increase within a year alone, but who knows, anything can happen that can cause a huge surge for bitcoin and we may end up still seeing the impossible happening.

As long as you know what you are doing, you are sure of your strategies, know when to get in and get out without gambling anything, and then you can really be very sure to get the best of trading. This is still a very profitable environment and there is no way you can have it all for sure, but one thing is that you can make more profit than losses if you learn.
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Road to 0.1 btc on: January 06, 2018, 04:36:17 AM
1. invest it in 1 altcoin (short term/long term)
2. putting  your eggs in different baskets
which means i will divide my 0.004 and buy at least 3 alt coin (short term/long term)

For most altcoins; there is no such long-term, but for some potential coins such as eth, xmr, ltc, qtum, bytes, waves, yes you can hold it for few months or years and get higher profits.
Divide your investment into different coins will works if you have big capital.
It's better to invest in a potential coin such as iota, ripple or xlm, these coins are on pumping right now, but I'm sure xrp can rise at least to $5 and maybe $10 at the peak.
Yes, once you invest in a potential coin, you can be rest assured to get a lot of profit from those coins eventually. There are so many coins with potential and one cannot know the future or how long it would get any of these coins to really grow in value, but with some little patience, there is going to be a huge possibility of achieving a lot on these coins.

One thing we just have to do is to pick a coin that is not really too overhyped already and pick some very good coins, backed with good projects and some very good team and invest in them. If we spread that and come back to them in the long run, you should have seen what you have increased before you even know it. This alone a very good and promising way to start.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i invest in ETH or Ripple? on: January 06, 2018, 04:08:56 AM
the development of the token ripple is greatly improved but I still choose ethereum to invest because the price of ethereum is very stable and tends to increase.
What is really so improved in the development of ripple? Read much about it and you will understand why some old folks will never give it a chance for investment unless you just want to do the short term one. Ripple is just a manipulated coin and there is nothing to it than being a centralized banker's coin, so it is best you understand that first and if you still want to go ahead to invest for the long term because the value is increasing, then the choice is all yours.

I believe it would not take much time before we see some pretty huge dips on XRP. I cannot be sure, but it is very likely. I got into it for the short term with the feelings of a pump, but really, I would not bank on it for too long, and except you are looking out to take a quick profit, then you should not even bother yourself holding it. I would rather go for Ethereum and some other promising coins than XRP.
892  Economy / Economics / Re: Beside Cryptocurrenices where would you invest? on: January 05, 2018, 07:34:56 PM
Beside Cryptocurrencies, i would prefer the longtime investment like land and gold.
Land and gold has been in existence for a long time and honestly, they are good when it comes to consistent increase in value. However, crypto being new has proven to be an area where there are lots of opportunities as people will keep getting to know more and then possibility of experiencing a huge boom just like we have had in the past with any investment. It is normal but if I were to diversify into other things, commerce would be my thing.

Basically the invention of crypto has really taken people's mind away from stocks and bonds, but they have been some pretty good area of investments for a very long time now. Real estate is good but it requires a whole lot of capital compared to investing in cryptocurrency, but I want to believe that this can be achieved a lot with crypto as time goes on, knowing that what you have would have increased greatly.
893  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is an Asset or Currency? on: January 05, 2018, 06:49:36 PM
crypto is both currency and an asset at the same time because it can be used in both and applicable to both of them like for example i can use my crypto as a form of investment and other times i will also like to buy things online using my crypto for a convienient shopping and to avoid much hassel when compared to credit or debit cards and any other payment method that requires your important information. cryptos can also be used on trading , sending payment or recieving , mining , etc. therfor crypto can be anything or it can be a multiprpose tool and not just an asset or a currency.
Yeah, it is definitely both. Just that for now, the currency aspect of it is not really being made use of and that is pretty bad. I am sure things would change in the long run, and there would be the possibilities of having to make use of crypto as currencies of choice, either the centralized or the decentralized ones. For now, it still serves more like a stock market where you can do basically all things but most especially as an investment.
894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: what impact has gambling make in your life? on: January 05, 2018, 06:09:27 PM
Gambling tought me lots of things. Patience is one of those things. If you're a good gambler, you're defently patient. You need to be wise and know when to make the move.
Gambling tought me how to manage my money too. As a gambler, i learned to manage my money to know how much i won and how much i lost. That's the most important thing i learned.
That's good actually if you can learn something like a patience and discipline from gambling, I just doubt a lot of people can do that smoothly, there's too much pressure when you are in the game and full of regrets at the end of the game , make things in gambling for me have more bad sides impact instead the good one.
At the beginning I can say that gambling has a bad impact into my life and that is because I was greedy enough to think that I can easily make money in gambling, but in the long run I matured because I learned from my experience, I open my mind and now sees my chances of winning.
My chances of winning is very low, therefore seeking for money is not a good way to treat gambling, now I only do gambling for entertainment.
Yes eventually our perception about gambling may change when we were young and it differs when we matured. The first time i thought about gambling is the fact that its illegal. Now i see the good thing about gambling especially in times where i have to spend my leisure time.I don't usually gamble but in times i need to be entertained and to have fun,i just go for it.But i make sure that i have set my limitations and take control over my emotions before going into gambling.
It can be considered as a form of entertainment for those who really want to end up seeing it as an entertainment. Unfortunately though, not everyone ends up seeing it that way as there are so many people who just want to gamble with the hope of making a whole lot of money in the process, while some got lucky and were able to make the best of their winnings, some did not and that is where their main problem starts.
895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: January 05, 2018, 05:06:35 PM
Well this thing always happened to all gamblers for sure and i also feel that, especially when i lose so much money on sports, so frustations and makes me to go all in in the end. The only way to prevent this frustations is take a break. When you on losing streak, just take a break and do something else, trust me it works.
There is no gambler that will never experience it and will not keep experiencing it. No one can beat the house edge and for those who think they have arrived with a strategy to get a lot of winnings, the streak is one thing they will have to face at the end.

I remembered the time i had 22 long streaks of losses while gambling. That was the day I got to know that it is just a system that would just do whatever it takes to make you lose at the end anyway and unless you are ready to face that, then you should not be gambling.
896  Economy / Marketplace / Re: bitcoin transaction fees has put me out of business on: January 05, 2018, 04:39:55 PM
What I understand from the member in this forum we need to be patience and no need to panic. It all part of the game  to be serious also what I understand also altcoin are not the solution for it we have to find the issue in deep to solve it nothing else we need to do which will be solved as soon as possible and everything will be all right.
Yes, patience is all that is needed as the experience would obviously get better in the long run.

Bitcoin is here to stay and I am sure that once everything is resolved with LN, we will start doing very fine and that is when we are going to start making the best use of the network the more and micro transactions would end up pretty fast and what we will just be looking at next is to see the moon and a lot of people who already have an idea how to run a business for themselves even doing it better.
897  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: January 05, 2018, 03:01:15 PM
Have you tried applying for any bounty campaigns? For me it is the best thing to earn bitcoin. But if you're note yet done with that, you must try it!
Bounty will even give you more than you can imagine if you decide to hold the little you have than even buying back into bitcoin with it or possibly just sell some part of it, buy back when the value gets low and then watch out until you see the value increasing hugely in the long run. I have earned so much from bounties than even in signature campaigns and for someone to spend 1 year without anything, then they are just simply not serious.
898  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the consequences of increasing demand to bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 02:24:34 PM
I guess, the consequence of increading demand of bitcoin is that it becomes too expensive to afford even a single bitcoin.
Well, that would be for those who may see it as something that is too expensive to afford but I really do not see that as a negative effect.

Increasing demand is something that is expected in the long run when bitcoin becomes so easy to use as a currency than it just being an asset, but looking at the way things are presently, without the LN being deployed to solve the scaling issue, the lagging network and congestion, will end up making investors to lose interest.
899  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex? on: January 04, 2018, 06:40:43 PM
what are your reasons for trading these shady, unsafe bitcoin markets over regular FX?

Because at the end of the day, I want to be holding bitcoin, not Zimbabwe dollars.

Netrin you gave the best answer, I also wish to hold Bitcoins and many other alt-coins.
That is my wish not to continue to support traditional currencies, I wish to support crypto-
world cause I believe it is a future. I work on my portfolio for months, collecting informations,
buying Bitcoins and investing in different projects.
We are here now and we are not late, cryptp-world is full with opportunities and popularity
is rising, this year was so great for all of us here and I strongly believe that there will be more
good years, maybe better than this one.
Lol, I can imagine far back as 2011, and that is just the right reply. Now, the Zimbabwean dollar has been scrapped and irrelevant for usage, the economy of the fiat in this country is messed up already and most of the citizens are finding solace in bitcoin, most especially to be able to make transactions internationally since they have been restricted in their country.

We have huge opportunities in the crypto world and for those who have been trading crypto since 2011 will even know better by now that just holding some of these coins, are even better, let alone trading them to earn even more.
900  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think its the right time to sell Bitcoin ? on: January 04, 2018, 06:23:09 PM
Selling bitcoin now depends on what are you going to spend that money . If it's for urgent personal business or for investing in rising cryptos such as Ripple (xrp ) or Iota (Miota) then go for it . If it's just for gambling or a fancy wine bottle over new year's dinner than i don't think it's worth it since you'll be loosing the potential value that your coins could reach , and it's really going to grow !
People speculate that bitcoin will at least triple in value by 2018 end , and since it has managed to reach a x20 just in 2017 , that tripling thing doesn't seem unlikely to happen in my opinion .
I feel anyone who would rather be cashing out now, should rather be doing it for an offline business except there is just a huge dire need to spend the money on something very necessary. I have seen myself cash out some of what I had before and that was because of the necessity to put them into something and looking at all the years of holding most of it, what I cashed out was nothing compared to what I am holding and this is my view on this.
