did bchsv implement lightning network?

Bitcoin can scale without any SW LN CTOR, other crap. And it must do this NOW to attract the entire world incl business/ industry. That's the Satoshi Vision and needs to be supported.

Nobody cares about your fork of a fork. How do you plan on getting any community or business support when it doesn't even has its own wallet?! It's a joke. Go pump it over in its own thread. This is no longer your thread.
8842  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 01, 2018, 07:40:25 AM

Bitcoin was created as a reaction to the latest recession, but have always worked in a continuous uptrend.
A recession might make bitcoin a place to run to when stocks and shares go down, in that case price will go up. Or bitcoin might be what you sell to make ends meet when your stock and shares are down, in which case the price will go down.

we simply do not know how bitcoin works in a recession, it might not reach any new ATH until the recession is over.

I agree we don't know how it will work exactly, but my hunch is a recession will drag it down since it is seen as an "extremely high risk" investment. This is the category of investment most likely to tank first in a stock market crash. For the longest time there was no correlation between BTC and stock market movement but that began to change last year when Wall Street started moving in.

Bitcoin only has the potential to be a safe haven investment compared to the dollar if in response to a new crash the feds begin a new game of QE that makes the last one look like Little League. Otherwise the dollar is the go-to investment during a recession.

I like my new hat by the way, fits pretty comfortably.

not out of BTC but F*** i'm totally out "rekt" of SendableMerit, need some to give some around here

I just remembered I had a dream the other day where I accidentally gave away 12 merits to one post, that wasn't even all that good. Was kind of panicked about it. I really need to get a life.

 This hat will fix everything1

Warren Buffet once said BTC equals "rat poison squared," because if you multiply rat poison times rat poison, you know, you get BTC... ..  Roll Eyes

Wish I had money to play the trading game. You guys make it sound fun.
8846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 30, 2018, 11:38:01 AM
but it was an easy chart NOW just need to see if it plays out Smiley

I expect some temporal disturbances in the 4th dimension for the next couple days. But really based on that "falling wedge" observation I saw earlier I suspect we could get as low as $3500 today, at the end of which will be a major make-or-break moment. My money is on "make." If it doesn't come true I pledge to stop making guesses.

OK its been fun, back to work.

So this time Bryce Weiner got it right.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if CSW is preparing some show soon. We haven't had much drama since the hashwar sorta ended.

Bryce is assuming the guy who added himself to Satoshi's P2PFoundation friend list was the hacker. It's definitely a logical assertion that anybody capable of putting 2+2 together can make. But Bryce is a shady con man fuck and whenever I see his name or his smug, bloated mug it makes me go into dry heave-esque convulsions.

It could be CWS isn't done swinging his dick around but IMO SV was DOA. Kind of like the biggest stillbirth ever registered on the crypto rankings.
8848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 30, 2018, 10:24:08 AM
Well, but we still don't believe it is satoshi nakamoto in person updating his profile, do we?

No, its been established that his account was hacked in March 2014, or earlier:

http://p2pfoundation.ning.com/forum/topics/bitcoin-open-source?id=2003008%3ATopic%3A9402&page=2#comments

He didn't write "I am not Dorian Nakamoto."
8849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 30, 2018, 10:17:46 AM

I doubt Bryce Weiner even knows how to read a block explorer. He's a pompous manufacturer of bullshit. His latest scheme is making coins of dead celebrities that can't tell him to knock it the fuck off.

http://p2pfoundation.ning.com/m/profile?screenName=0ye0gncqg772o

This is supposedly one of the few Satoshi's profiles.
Check his activity. He just updated his status to "nour".
Someone hacked into his account or..?

Also quite a few 2010 and 2011 addresses never touched are now transferring out bunches of 50 BTC

https://mobile.twitter.com/CryptXO/status/1067521350598885377?s=20

Good catch... Coins are being moved to an address that Roger Ver is implicated to be the owner of:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/5yjij6/someone_is_transferring_750_btc_every_5_seconds/

Long story short: coins are being moved around with $2.50 fees at regular intervals, likely for the purpose of sabotaging the network by pushing up average tx fees.

Satoshi's hacked profile also accepted this guy's friend request:

https://twitter.com/wtamanaha

My guess is Ver (or potentially Wright) is going to use this to say "See? BTC is too expensive to act as a currency. Now buy our (my) coin."
8851  Other / Meta / Re: Legendary account banned? on: November 30, 2018, 09:47:27 AM
I already know that people in this meta section is here mainly to gain merits (another thing I didn't know before this fact) so most people here will say that I can just leave forever, since they are perfect while I'm the sinner.

Is this true? Kind of weird and ironic. It is where a lot of Merit sources / holders hang out but I'm personally here for the entertainment.

8852  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Decentralised exchanges. Will they survive? on: November 30, 2018, 09:35:50 AM
I like the idea of DEXs and have been using them for quite some time, but yes, a lot of the time liquidity is a problem and they are very slow to develop trustworthiness. People just aren't comfortable with them as of yet.

One major problem with DEXs I still see: what happens if the website goes down? I imagine there's a way to ply your funds held in smart contracts out of there without the use of the website, but it sure would be inconvenient, and if you can't, then what? You're just SOL?
8853  Economy / Reputation / Re: CODEX.ONE using bumping services + connection to a merit farmer and a hacker on: November 29, 2018, 08:17:42 AM
Here's a guy that's offering such services (archived [Ann] - [SS of the Ad]).

Lol @ "high quality forum posting" ... I would definitely want my money back after reading his posts.

I'm willing to bet a lot of the positive feedback for his merchant page is also self-generated.
8854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC chairman on why the SEC will not approve a bitcoin ETF on: November 29, 2018, 05:57:18 AM
The protocol isn't changing so that the SEC can regulate it. It is not something the SEC can control the manipulation of in it's current form.

There wont be a bitcoin ETF. Ever.

Has nothing to do with the protocol. It has to do with measures being put in place to prevent price manipulation of a new category of asset.
8855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 29, 2018, 05:25:37 AM
Do you really think that 1 comment from a newbie on bitcointalk is going to affect price at all? Who cares what some newbie account is spamming in threads, it has zero relevance at all.  Cheesy Cheesy

You missed the point: this type of price movement attracts guys like that to mindlessly pump a coin. The newb doesn't effect the price, the price effects the newb. He's a sign, like a canary in a coal mine.

In any case, I don't mean to rain on anybody's parade and I wish you all the best going forward. I know FCT has been around for quite a while.
8856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC chairman on why the SEC will not approve a bitcoin ETF on: November 29, 2018, 05:14:01 AM
I don't think its a conspiracy to keep the people down so much as bitcoin being an entirely new class of asset that doesn't have any of the traditional safeguards that protect stocks and other commodities. Its pretty much undoubted that BTC was being manipulated up to the MtGOX collapse and nearly certain that it was being manipulated late last year in its big run up. One step at a time... first Bakkt and then a bit more institutional involvement, and then maybe the SEC will have a different opinion. Still might take about 6 months or even longer.

https://xbt.net/blog/sec-chair-says-bitcoin-etf-possible-when-price-manipulation-concerns-are-addressed/

ETF talk? This is bitcoin talk and nobody cares about ETF's or what the SEC says or does.

Its a Bitcoin ETF we're talking about.
8857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 29, 2018, 03:18:13 AM
People fail to understand that the value of bitcoin when it is globally adopted (5 million+ people using it every day) will be far greater than any pump and dump shit coin.

Oh you mean like how BTC easily has that many users now, and BSV is a p n' d shitcoin?

By the way the thread for your new altcoin seems very quiet and boring, wonder why that could be..

Oh, its the censorship, that's right.

Good thing for you this thread is unmoderated so you can continue to spout your baseless pumpasms.
8858  Economy / Reputation / Re: CODEX.ONE using bumping services + connection to a merit farmer and a hacker on: November 28, 2018, 10:11:13 AM
Good research guys, I supposed things like this existed but I've never seen the dots connected so extensively. Wonder how much they sell this "service" for.
8859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 28, 2018, 04:45:46 AM
If global adoption is to be achieved, bitcoin must be legal everywhere

That's not true mate, half of the world would be enough - it would have the same impact.

Let me clarify, big business and global adoption is what will make Bitcoin more valuable than anything we have seen in the past. If it is associated with illegal activities with things like DSV, then I can assure you no business will want to build something on top of bitcoin, and no country will use it as their currency.

Datasigverify isn't illegal in itself. It could potentially be used for illegal activities, just like every other currency in existence. Besides its not in bitcoin, its in Bitcoin Cash, which by and large nobody cares about.
8860  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: November 27, 2018, 08:54:37 AM
This weird son of a bitch found a way to (cheesily) get around the Newbie no-sig restriction:

Hold on a little bit more. You will never know what happen in the future.

No one really knows what will happen in the future. But I think that the trend will get better in the near future.

Its a habit he started as a noob and then continued on later even after he was a Jr Member. He never got a merit because, of course, all of his posts are shitposts, so he's now back down to Newbie.

As a final kick to the nuts, he just had 2 other accounts banned for plagiarism.
