8841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Dividends on crypto on: November 01, 2017, 12:02:32 AM
If you have NEO Neo Coin wallet, it will generate coins called GAS without using PC resources if I'm not mistaken. I know it's not same thing what you are asking, but it's a bit similar thing.

8843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funny: "Nigerian" Scams Shifting To Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 12:38:49 AM
Oh lol, classic scheme, it's just adjusted to bitcoin world Cheesy. I'm still surprised how they still can find idiots who believe in their stories. C'mon, it's 2017 outside the window...
I often get similar email letters, but it's old type - they are asking to pay eur or usd to get miloions, never got from Blockchain Payment Department Cheesy. Sometimes when I'm in good mood, I like to play with these scammers and troll them Cheesy.
8844  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Novaexchange will close on: October 31, 2017, 12:29:23 AM
I don't think it will affect Bitcoin price, their trading volume is far from biggest exchanges. And their closure is only temporarry, they will re-open in hands of new owners.
I got the email, but i dont get it.. i dont understand the real reason of why they are going to close their exchange, is this because of the authorities? or just because they were not making good money from the exchange? maybe it is because a lot of people were dumping their coins from that exchange and some people were not using it anymore.
But who knows? i dont know why it is closing, but i am lucky because i didnt have a single dollar in there.

Oh, did you at least read their announcement? Looks that not. They just have new owners. And they decided to close exchange to move it safely in to hands of new owners. And even if you would had money on Novaexchange, it's not problem, because they give enough time to withdraw funds.
8845  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get subscribers? (For campaign purposes) on: October 31, 2017, 12:14:15 AM
1) You can try to ask people to subscribe your channel and then you subscribe their channel - do so called Follow for Follow.
2) Well, it depends what are requirements of campaign. I'm not familiar with Youtube campaigns, but from what I see now, not all campaigns have mentioned anything about required number of subscibers.
8846  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to withdraw a small amout of BTC from Yobit? on: October 30, 2017, 06:15:34 PM
Bitcoin fees on yobit are very high (as well as on many other exchanges). You better convert BTC to another cheap altcoin like DOGE and then withdraw to your own Dogecoin wallet. (I made the DOGE example but you can switch to any altcoin you like....)

And then what? Save yourself a few satoshi's? People (at least the majority) at some point will want to convert their coins back to Bitcoin, which happens on-exchange, and thus you'll end up paying the trading fees, and on top of that the withdrawal fees. People should learn to look everything through, and prioritize what actions are actually worth taking, and which not. Yobit's fees are higher than other exchanges with their 0.0015BTC, but this is something you can figure out before actually depositing any coins. In other words, it's pointless to complain.
Just a small correction. Yobit withdrawal fee is  0.0008 BTC, it was reduced from 0.0015 BTC not so long time ago. So, now Yobit fees aren't higher than on other exchanges. But I agree with everything else that you said.
8847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction with very low fees on: October 30, 2017, 02:53:02 PM
Bitcoin's transaction fees is very low than credit/debit cards. As there is no middle man this one is one of the reason of lower transaction fees.
Read more carefull before posting. First off all, OP sent Bitcoin Cash, not Bitcoin. Secondly, he isn't talking about low transaction fees. He just sent Bitcoin Cash and set too low fees, so it can take much more time to get comfirmations for transaction.
8848  Economy / Marketplace / Re: RU or UA i will pay good for small task on: October 30, 2017, 01:58:57 PM
Please give more details about task. Do you need people from Russia or Ukraine, or do you need people who understand russian or ukrainian language? And tell at least minimal information, what kind of task do you need.
8849  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: "Clean" faucets on: October 30, 2017, 01:29:32 PM
There aren't so many clean faucets. Mostly of faucets are filled with popups, url shorteners, hidden coinhive miner and etc. And if faucet is clean, they are paying lower rewards, because they get less revenue from advertisemnts that they are using. I selected several clean faucets, you can try it:
Vipfaucet.ga, Btcsmile.com, Starbits.io, Forumcoin.win/btc, Xfaucet.net, Konstantinova.net, Fautsy.com, Coinue.com/faucet.
You also can check my Faucethub faucet list, maybe you will find some more good faucets;) :

8850  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: QoinPro.com - Free BTC, DOGE, LTC, FTC, VTA every 24 hours automatically on: October 30, 2017, 12:43:27 PM
Is there anyone here who started with registration without harnessing money and not developing the number of referrals? I wonder how long it will take to accumulate $ 100 in the BTC itself?
I registered almost 3 years ago and I have almost 30k satoshi. Good that bitcoin price increased so much in these years, otherwise these 30k satoshi would look even more pathetic. It's not hard to count how many years I need to reach 150k satoshi payout treshold and then pay 50k satoshi withdrawal fee. But I'm nit complaining, because I didn't wasted time on Qoinpro - I just created account and then check it sometimes.
How much it will take to accumulate $100 in btc? Idk, few decades, century???
Only way to earn something from qoinpro - getting referrals, but it's more profitable to promote faucets instead of Qoinpro

but it's more profitable to promote faucets instead of Qoinpro. What did you mean? What is faucets?
Do you not know what is faucets? Here is explanation to you:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin_faucet
Qoinpro also can be described as faucet, but it's a bit diferent - no captcha required, coins given automatically each day, but they give much less than usual faucets and earnings are very limited here.
8851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 30, 2017, 12:25:57 AM
Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton, who won F1 champion tittle 4th in his career.
In general, everything today was decided in 1st lap, when there was accident between Seb and Lewis. Both had to make pit stops due to damage after that and Vettel wasn't able to regain lost positions. Hamilton performance wasn't amazing today, but it was enough for him to win a championship.
And after great start, Max Verstappen didn't had any problems and won race easily. I can't remember when race winner got so little attention after race Cheesy Because champion Lewis was in light of cameras.
8852  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: October 30, 2017, 12:12:34 AM
Another crazy thing happened in freebitco.in lottery - user with only 2 tickets won 0.11908959 BTC. It's not first place prize worth 2 btc, but still, it's nice amount of money. Since provably fair lottery was implemented, we can swe quite often that users with extremely low amount of tickets win in the lottery.
This time it's possible that was accidental user of freebitco.in who maybe will not return to freebitco.in again. And maybe he even will not realize that he won btc in lottery. I know that every lottery winner got email notification, but manny people not checking their email messages carefully.
8853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Over 500 Million People Are Unknowingly Mining Cryptos on: October 29, 2017, 12:49:57 PM
I'm not surprised that mostly torrents, porn and similar sites using miners in background. It's more difficult to monetize such websites and finally they found alternative. If miner set at low CPU usage, maybe it can be better than tons of popups for many users. But if they set high CPU usage and don't warn users about it, people are risking to overheat their devices while visiting such website.
And I remember that uTorrent few users ago secretly mined bitcoins in background without user consent.
Now I'm using one addon which blocks CoinHive miner, but it doesn't helps always.
8854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest time for bitcoin to enter your wallet? on: October 29, 2017, 12:40:04 PM
Longest time I have to wait to get incoming transaction confirmations was more than 2 days. There was quite big spam attack at that moment.
Wait 45 minutes to get transaction confirmed is nothing special and you shouldn't be worried.
And few times when I sent bitcoins, it took more than 6 hours to get confirmation, but again, it's nothing special.
8855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you buy Bitcoin back in 2010? on: October 29, 2017, 12:33:14 PM
Mt. Gox exchange opened in 2010. And there was annother exchange bitcoinmarket.com, if I'm not mistaken. But in that times, it was simplier to mine bitcoins at home without having any special hardware, instead of spending money on exchange to buy btc. Difficulty was low and users were able to mine lot of btc.
And people used original Bitcoin client Core, I don't think that there was any alternatives for this wallet.

8857  Other / Meta / Re: suggestion: Ask for a BTC address upon registration on: October 29, 2017, 12:41:43 AM
It sounds like a good idea, BUT...
Mostly newbies who register on bitcointalk are new in this world. Some of them even don't have bitcoin wallet at time of registration, others are using wallets which don't have ability of signing a message, so there is no point to use such wallet address for registration. And even many more experienced users don't have idea how to sign a message. And these who knows how to do it can use thread made for staking wallet address.
8858  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How to withdraw a small amout of BTC from Yobit? on: October 28, 2017, 11:58:33 PM
Did you say Yobit? To withdraw from that exchange, you first need to pray it works. If prayer doesn't help, you need to plead and beg them to process the withdrawal. And hope someone reads your many open tickets and shows some mercy. This is how it works with Yobit.

If you were hoping the withdrawal will be a straightforward and quick procedure, I have to sadly burst that bubble of hope.

They are ranked high up (if not first) on the list of rogue exchanges.

I think you exagerate about Yobit too much. Offcourse, Yobit is very far away from perfect exchange, but it's not everything terrible as you describe. At least for main coins, there are not so many problems with withdrawals. And it's not best idea to open many tickets on the same problem.
8859  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase Signed Message unavailable right now? on: October 28, 2017, 11:35:42 PM
I am stuck with this.
Can you please post some picture for more specific.
It's not possible to sign a mesage from Coinbase wallet anymore. They removed this feature several months ago.
I am having the same issue with blockchain.info.... I have searched high and nigh online with little success on how to sign messages. apparently, You can sign from messages from very old addresses but not with the new ones. If anyone has an idea please share. It is ironic that they allow message verification, but wont allow messages to be signed.
I never had issue to sign message with imported adrees on blockchain.info, but never tried to do it with new address. It looks quite strange that don't allow to sign message with all address.
8860  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: A university in Vietnam receives tuition fees in bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 05:55:27 PM
Interesting news. I remember that in my country one university also accepts bitcoin as a payment for tuition. It's also possible to pay with Ethereum and Dash. But the problem that this university isn't popular and prestigious, and I don't think that many students paying with btc.
But looks this case is a bit diferent. Vietnam university are seeing demand for bitcoin payments to help for foreign students to pay more easily for tuition.
