I think the max year is only 3 years, I dig a little and see this news, it's Fajardo signed a 3 year deal with the SMB, but this news was in 2015 and I think Fajardo is still already the best player in the PBA that time.

https://www.philstar.com/the-freeman/cebu-sports/2015/09/04/1496251/fajardo-set-sign-3-year-multi-million-deal-smb

Also, speaking of salary, we can check their monthly salary thru this page.

Top 3 - Calvin Abueva

Top 5 - Arwind Santos

Update as of Feb 2019

- Kubrador

No one gets 500k per month, that's how low the salary in the PBA compared to international basketball league.
Yeah, that's also what I think about the max contract should be in 3 years. I've mentioned Kenneth Duremdes having the most contract because I've read an article that said that he got a max contract of 8 years but that was a very long time ago. I thought with the recent years, it was Arwind Santos that has the highest paid in a contract.
8842  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase IPO isn't good for Bitcoin investors and here is why🧐 on: January 28, 2021, 09:15:05 PM
Investing in the Coinbase IPO doesn't make sense to me when there is Bitcoin available but to each their own.
This is where it starts to look at the preference of other investors. Today, you say that investing in CB's IPO doesn't make sense. But for other optimistic investors, see it as a good start to see a crypto company launching its own IPO. At end of it, it's just all about CB's business and the effect of it on bitcoin isn't directly going to impact. However, it's a crypto-related company for which it can change someone's ideology about cryptos, especially those who keep on flaming the bitcoin community and keeps on telling bitcoin isn't worth money because of what Coinbase offers.
8843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survey: 25% of crypto users not securing assets as well as they think on: January 28, 2021, 08:40:22 PM
It's strange that more that a half respondents keep some crypto on exchanges. Looks like they don't care about the funds.
It is not strange that many crypto people are storing their assets on exchanges. Many will never learn from the experiences of others that have been a victim of a hack when they've kept it on exchanges, the exchange was hacked.
Not until they are personally the ones who see it happen, they will not learn. It's been a reminder that if you don't have the keys, it's not your bitcoin or any crypto that you store in exchanges.
8844  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: January 28, 2021, 12:27:07 PM
Bet for tomorrow:

Lakers -2.5 @1.94 vs Sixers, almost an even match-up, could go either way.
Grabe laban nito, dikit lang.

Oo nga napakadikit ng laban na yon, muntik pa manalo ang Lakers by a point buti nalang pumasok yong tira ni Harris para sa panalo. Nabasag yong 10 game winning streak on the road ng Lakers, sayang.
8845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 28, 2021, 11:14:59 AM
I think Alaska realized it too late and they're trying to offer him 2 years contract then. But that wouldn't change his mind I guess.
Why 2 years of contract? Why make it 3?
I don't know what the max year contract for a PBA player but I see some players getting signed for 3 yeas, probably that's the max, so why can't the Alaska give that to Manuel?
I don't know what's with them. They seem to be reliable with a 2-year contract to Manuel and don't think he should get on board for a longer contract.
About the longest or max contract in history, I think that's Duremdes and with our current time. I haven't seen someone max more than 3 years too.
8846  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: January 28, 2021, 10:14:26 AM

Bet for tomorrow:

Lakers -2.5 @1.94 vs Sixers, almost an even match-up, could go either way.
Grabe laban nito, dikit lang.

8848  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 27, 2021, 07:52:42 PM
this is why the had to hide the stats. they just want you to think every high roller is winning in order to lure u
It's not about luring, every casino gets to post the huge winnings of their gamblers. And that win is certainly a huge amount from bitcoinerz and that is crazy indeed.
The user doesn't even bother to post his losses in here but it's common that before getting with lucky wins, there's a long road of losses.
8849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better, ether or bitcoin? on: January 27, 2021, 06:35:56 PM
As you know, BTC price is backed from around $42000 and ETH is going upward, so this is difficult decision to invest $100 in BTC or ETH; I suggest you should invest in ETH because there is more chance to reach more than $2000 ETH price in few months.
$100 is an acceptable amount to invest. And you won't find it difficult by investing it in bitcoin or eth. Two good choices you're talking about here. What about bitcoin? It's on a drop today and that's a moment that many buyers want to see. Don't wait until it goes up again and invest it already.
8850  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchange of the 2020 on: January 27, 2021, 05:21:50 PM
Hello  I think binance is best exchange in the world to buy different crypto currency like btc.it has a huge volume of trading.it has approximately 1,400,000+
Transactions per second.
Many will agree with you about Binance being the best exchange. But it's not always the case, we have no issues with them but some users might have lots of issues with them and that concludes that it's not the best for them. We agree about them as one of the best and there are still good exchanges that are existing. As the opinions of the crowd say Binance is the best. Kucoin was also with Binance when it started to become popular but Binance overtakes them.
8851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Tokens on: January 27, 2021, 04:03:27 PM
I do not recommend investing in defi coins for the long term because many have said that defi is a bubble that will explode and disappear at any time.
That's what I think with them and just the same hype as what it's getting today with the icos before. It is encouraging to invest in it when you see a lot of people and investors tie together with such projects and experienced profiting from it. If you guys know how and when to sell on it, you should be good on it but if you're just investing because you see others making money on it, you should be sticking to bitcoin, and then next to it is ethereum.
8852  Economy / Gambling / Re: which are the safest sportbooks to play? on: January 27, 2021, 02:28:46 PM
Another big broblem with stake is that they asked me KYC, and i use a BTC sportbook mainly cause i dont want to make KYC
In my experience, they've never asked for it. It's on their terms that it could be something that lies into your account that's why they've asked you.
And as I've said, you can choose from another sportsbook if you want. You're free to do it until you're very much satisfied. You have too many choices that will make you feel happy as a bettor.
8853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 27, 2021, 12:28:03 PM
Looks like there's a tension happening between the management and Manuel, I hope they will just let him go, or find some player to trade for him. Manuel is like James Harden, he is not anymore happy playing with his current team.
That's his first statement but it could change whenever he finally decides to truly get out or still give the team a chance and grab the contract that they're offering to him.
Manuel has a high value in the market, why would he stay in a team that does not value him based on his market value.
Giving 1 year contract only while other teams are giving years of contract on a player or players that helps to contribute for the success of the team.
I think Alaska realized it too late and they're trying to offer him 2 years contract then. But that wouldn't change his mind I guess.

That is possible. It's a franchise to franchise talk and they won't accept him as punishment. But we'll still see what will happen to him, hoping the best for him.

I don't wanna see that and it's not possible that Alaska will only sit him, fans will protest, lol.. that's really unfair, they are using their power to give a player with no choice, a capital punishment IMO.
We know how the association works. They did to some players and disallow them to play but suddenly they allow it but it took for too long.
8854  Local / Pilipinas / Re: BREAKING NEWS! Philippine Central Bank Widens Cryptocurrency Regulation on: January 27, 2021, 11:49:31 AM
8855  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: January 27, 2021, 10:55:55 AM

Ano tingin nyo dito?

15W - 21L (standing)

8857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future is still bullish. on: January 26, 2021, 04:25:03 PM
The article gives me idea that the correction of BTC is to help it rising more.
This has been always the case when we get a correction. It's an adjustment for bitcoin to retrace and get back stronger after that dip. But no one knows when it will come but get an idea if it's about to come when it rises too much. That's how bitcoin balances itself.

Yes definitely bitcoin future is very bright and etherum and dot also i think etherum use case are better then Bitcoin
The use case of Ethereum is different from bitcoin. Ethereum is for projects while bitcoin is for real use as money and investment although in the category as an investment, they're the same.
8858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Start your investment quickly and safely. on: January 26, 2021, 03:21:48 PM
I knew it. Just by reading the title before I click on this thread, there's something fishy already. You can't come up together "quickly" and "safely" in investments.

There are many places to invest in digital currencies that are safe and fast.
There are safe but you just can't go aim for the fast because that's why many are scammers. They take advantage of it for the impatient people to earn. Investing requires patience.

Announcing publicly that he did not want to play for Alaska anymore, backfired on him and he may suffer the consequences on doing that.

I don't think that Alaska will trade him to the teams he want to play, they will retain him as a punishment for what he did (hope i'm wrong).

He may sit out, Alaska can afford as they are not title contender anymore.

Slaughter and Manuel are victim of this old rules of the PBA regarding free agents. Good thing they are scrapping that rules next year.
That is possible. It's a franchise to franchise talk and they won't accept him as punishment. But we'll still see what will happen to him, hoping the best for him.

I don't know why you ask this question.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5309733.0
You were had a problem with stake with your €4,000, and you confirmed you have got your money back from stake. So, the best sportbook for you is Stake.com, or are you afraid to play on stake again and looking for other sportbooks?
He has a lot of choices. If he wants to try another sportsbook, he can do that as he please himself. But he got the experience through stake and it's up to him whether he's satisfied or not.
You have plenty of choices to choose from OP, you can take your time researching and trying each of them if you got a lot of time.
