8861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion on: May 26, 2017, 12:08:21 PM
Only seven episodes this season??? What??? Are they longer than usual?

Waiting longer and getting less episodes in return is not what I was hoping for Tongue

Each episode is going to be for a hour. Each episode has been tailor made to lead for the finale. The new trailer of Game of thrones has shown that there won't just be a war, there will be a great War. Now if the rumors are to believe there exists a city where the dead live and they shall be brought to war against the dead ice people. This season is going to take your blood pressure to another level. Especially when danerous and Jon my king unites. July is far, and I don't know about you all but I can't wait for it to begin.
8862  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're reaching $3,000 soon! on: May 26, 2017, 12:03:10 PM
At this pace BTC will hit $5,000 until the end of the year! Every BTC holder must know this: you will own a fortune in a few years!

Is $10,000 reachable? I guess it's clear that it is!  (2-3 years)

Is $25,000 reachable? Why not!   (5-10 years)

Is $50,000 reachable? Harder but not impossible!  (>10 years)

Hahaha 3000 is a matter of time if not when. I am sure it will happen very soon. However I do have a concern, one Asian country has passed a bill to legalize it, that is Japan. While other is taking a review and may ban it that is India will the absence of country being banned effect Bitcoins, what will happen to your coins? I fell year end should be 5-7k. If all good goes for Bitcoins. Let the party continue.
8863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pulling a crazy stunt for bitcoin on: May 26, 2017, 11:59:26 AM
What is this, you need to be more specific, however based on your words, I am intrepeting you mean to say that you are looking for some recommendations for doing a stunt that lands you on the newspapers front page and for that you want Bitcoins. Or you are doing this stunt so you to promote Bitcoins. I am really confused either way I would advise you not to do anything stupid and edit your post so people are able to help you. Yet cant get it, but I don't have a good feel on this.
8864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many will you have out of 21 Million? on: May 25, 2017, 03:43:09 PM
I don't know if you are aware about the fact that by the time the last satoshi is mined, unfortunately according to the laws of physics... we will all be dead:

If I remember correctly, the last satoshis will be mined in around year 2140, so good luck with that.

The good news is, as you can see, the asymptote becomes almost flat in around 2029. Which means, anyone holding 21 bitcoins, or even a single bitcoin, should be very wealthy by then, assuming everyone goes the right way (no big block agenda ruining the decentralization of the network by nodes being too big to run killing bitcoin as a decentralize store of wealth etc).

If we can keep those basic pillars intact, BTC will simply continue to grow.

Hahaha then I guess I am not at all worried, way to long but my guess in the next few years should be able to get at least one or two. The way prices rise it's very difficult to get a whole Bitcoin. But as the user says till the last coin we won't be there so it really just doesn't matter. I think we should enjoy the short term, rather than long term as the prices are not in our control. Let's enjoy the short term rises.

14 green in a row .. Tongue

14 greens in a row or even 20 or 30 greens are useless if you only betting with small amount. Imagine you were betting with 1 btc and you could won 14 btc

14 streaks you got really lucky dude, but since you were winning you Co have taken the risk to play a high amount, higher the risk, higher the award. Try playing a high end at this casino I am sure you will win high. I am sure many would be inspired to play here now seeing his streak with a aim to beat his 14. Let's hope. Some one does it. But who ever does do make sure you won big lol, play sensibly.
8866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 25, 2017, 05:07:21 AM
I've been talking about Bitcoin to family, friends and random people for years and nobody seemed to mind when BTC was under $1000. But now that Bitcoin has reached $2000, people are starting to realize that owning 1 BTC is beginning to be out of reach for the average person.

I've had more people ask me about Bitcoin lately and wanted help buying Bitcoins. What about you?

You are not alone to experience the sudden interest in Bitcoins by the so called other people who choose not to trust Bitcoins. Now it's crossed 2400$ every one of them is bombarding me to know how to buy. How to make money. Will it go up. Should I put all my money in. This is actually great and it feels like you are a financial consultant, advising people on Bitcoins. Buckle up people the interest is just going to shoot up.
8867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins now, At this price, It Isn't working on: May 25, 2017, 03:47:10 AM
I love BTC, I want BTCs, but buying them now, at this price, it won't work..too expensive Sad Angry . If you owning Bitcoins or thousand satoshis, consider yourself lucky!

Honesty we all really don't know if it's expensive. Say today 2400$ is expensive tomorrow it goes 3 or 4k.we will say we missed the bus. The only logical thing to do is buy little little daily basis. Earn from contests and signature campaigns. That's the only way now. Buy satoshi's not Bitcoins, be wise. Keep a fixed amount daily to buy. And regularly keep on buying it and wait for the miracle and when you get rich well just enjoy it.
8868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i have a heck of a good feeling on: May 24, 2017, 03:20:46 AM
even though <<< whoever you think is to blame >>> almost totally fucked up and killed bitcoin,  it seems like we'll be able to move forward.  Great days are ahead.  Main stream hasn't even gotten on board yet.  I'm thinking Bitcoin will be $100k within 10 years.

HODL!!!

Normally I would just jump the gun and ask why do you feel, and 100k but then I guess these days it's just becoming a trend to pick a figure and be happy. I am positive Bitcoin shall cross the sky, however to reach a certain number and that to in 10 years is difficult to predict, right now it's easy to day 3k looks a reality at the year end. With Bitcoin generating positive reviews but anything more than that. We will have to wait and watch. To early to jump to a conclusion.
8869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So finally it did was not difficult to dethrone bitcoin! on: May 23, 2017, 05:42:55 AM
The narrative built all these years was that bitcoin is immune to government intervention, to the extent that it will one day overthrow the state..

but ha ha ha

all it took was one small civil war between a  startup called block stream and a bitcoin early adopter and thats all....

its time for the community to save bitcoin to be on the top ever...

Well tried op! You did get our attention but sadly Bitcoin is not going anywhere and your so called Alts well they will disappear soon. Look at the one coin scam. As for your civil war there are differences in all currencies no need to panic, solution will be found. The government cannot track your transactions till you shift money to your bank account, so not a valid point either. And if you don't know Japan has legalized it, Australia I have read here is about to, no news about Alts mate. Buy some satoshi's before you miss the bus. Bitcoin is here to stay forever.
8870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: don't believe the news you read online when it comes to investing your money on: May 22, 2017, 01:45:54 PM
i don't think there is anyone that is unaware of the altcoin pumps that is currently going on. in this situation there are a lot of false information being spread, most of them are big obvious lies that are simply shows their desperation for more newbies to give them money.

most of the news sites will publish anything, they don't care about authenticity of the news. they just care about money and how they can get more of it.

right now there is a new circling around saying "Google" has started investing in ethereum and its ICOs!
i can't even put to words how ridiculous this sounds, google investing in a centralized not-legal ICO cryptocurrency! Grin

and here is their source:
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/golem-network
which was showing Google as the investor in this ICO! now after some time has passed and the news is spread, some random guy went ahead and added some more entities to the list to ridicule those spreading this news, we can expect Bruce Wayne (aka Batman) soon invest in Ethereum and its linked ICOs too:

here is an archive: https://archive.fo/BdeU9

have fun...

Not at all surprising seeing these posts a lot these days, saw a post on Fb it says donate us Bitcoins and ETHERUM and then we will give you a token and then you burn the token. This people target the newbies and newbies are bound to fall for this traps. Sadly it's on the rise and soon we shall see many complaints being reported. The best we can do is make sure try and spread information about this so people don't fall for this.
8871  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: May 22, 2017, 04:59:43 AM
Asked before I'm sure.

What ya think?

How in the world can any one answer this? Did you wake up to know that on xyz date, Bitcoin will expire? There is no end to Bitcoin price current rally anywhere 3-5k this year but what if it's suddenly banned we could see a major downfall. It could very well be banned in Asia country and I am referring to India, that will be a big jolt. Right now it's a wait and watch scenario, honestly no one has any idea where and when will it go. It all depends on the global events and that has got me worried. I only wish price stays constant or rises.
8872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 21, 2017, 03:57:04 PM
I think Dhoni will make a difference in the match and i really wish Pune win this final with all the drama associated with the team in the beginning when Smith was appointed the captain they have come a long way to play as a team when needed and reach the final and it is just one step to win the tournament and i hope they can do that.

Certainly Dhoni experience on field is going to play a vital role for Pune to give a tough match to Mi . Though considering the batting line , MI has a strong line up and in bowling Bumrah will make a key difference if he strike early the Pune may be in trouble.

Mumbai lost all three matches against supergiants in this season of IPL and I hope they'll lose this one also as my money is on RPS today. Can't say anything about a result because it's an IPL match. Let's see..
Today is Pune day they are doing very good job in bowling and fielding they are champions of this year very surprised winner for many but I feel they are copy of Chennai and they have ability to win because some good and experienced players with this team they give full paisa wasul performance for owners of this franchise

The match is all but over and not at all surprising, Mumbai Indians came in lazily, and honestly they don't even wish to win it. Hats of to Pune, they really deserve to win it. A minute of silence who would have put their calls on Mumbai Indians to win it. Pune will win this game with ease and I feel the trophy should be collected by Ms Dhoni he deserves it. Any one played on Mumbai already? Or all were on Pune from start?
8873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 21, 2017, 10:36:15 AM
Sorry but I haven't seen this question for some time now so I just had to ask  Grin

How many times is this question going to be coming up, and at the end only one common answer will remain. No one will ever know who he is, is he yet there amoung us. It's sad cause he was right here on this very forum but now we don't even know where he is. He sacrificed his image, life stats for us for Bitcoin. Instead of asking this, you should ask how do we honor him. Or request for a international satoshi day, there was a thread don't know what happened though.
8874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I were Satoshi Nakamoto... on: May 21, 2017, 10:33:05 AM
If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, would you:

  • reveal yourself?
  • if so, how would you do this?
  • what would you think of Bitcoin today?
  • what would you think of altcoins today?

No I would never reveal my self as that is the fundamental of Bitcoins. The whole system is anymoys based. Well definitely would be surprised by the price but not that it's loved so much, and countries are using it. Alt joins are not worth thinking, it's only Bitcoins for me. However I would try and work out a consensus among the fees and try and find a issue to find the confirmation time quicker.
8875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we are greedy on: May 21, 2017, 05:03:39 AM
I have been trying to deposit/withdraw fiat into different exchanges, and I found that most fees are absolutely ridiculous (7%-10%?!). With many options to deposit/withdraw fiat (and different fees), I think we are getting a bit greedy with Bitcoin.

According to Bitcoin price at the moment, depositing fiat worth of 1BTC ($2,053) requires fees ranging between $21-$205, while most of us want to transact that same 1BTC with something like $0.5 and getting rage over the delay!

I think paying $1-$5 in fees is relatively acceptable, since bitcoin price is rising every single day.

Its not we who are greedy it's the miners who are exploiting us to their whims. Honestly the best thing is not to make any transactions hold on to your coins, cause there nothing else one can do. At this very moment best is to wait and watch what happenes in near future, and I hope some common sense prevails and prices are restored to normalcy. Till then let's pray for the best.
8876  Economy / Gambling / Re: BEWARE - FortuneJack on: May 20, 2017, 06:07:29 PM
I don't really understand... What were you expecting?

It's a casino. Their only goal is to make money.
If you're a big player that means you made big wins. They want to check that those wins are legitimate before paying you out.
It would be the exact same thing in a real life casino. If you win a too high amount they will make you wait so they can analyse the pictures taken by cameras to be sure that you haven't cheated.
That's just to protect themselves from new hackers and bug exploiters that's all. Nothing unusual.

I agree they would be indeed be checking your earnings all pretty big and in a day, must have triggerd some flag so. Instant withdrawals these days are problematic and every one facing a issue, so being little patent is nice. In the end good thing is it got sorted, you could check other casinos like bit dice, I like the site and found it suitable, and of course you can check reviews out here, since you are vip you might have a better team to Carter to your needs.
8877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with the situation of non-recognition? on: May 20, 2017, 06:01:10 PM
Hi,

Since my friends have an idea that I am associated with bitcoin and I transact in it, they send me the stuff from the media if they come across. In most of the media pieces, bitcoin is mentioned as 'bitcoin is an unrecognised currency' and at that point, the people misunderstand that if it's not recognised (legal) yet then it's definitely illegal. I am bit confused, how to deal with such situation?

Best
Dudeperfect

Well lately since Bitcoin started getting lot of unwanted attention even I was left to answer all this questions, bit then I decided, it's simple to persons who are reasonable I will make them understand that law has not found them illegal, it's just not recognised. Then the monkey brained people, I just reply ok, or ya, I see. And I walk away there is no point in spending your time on them, let's get rich while they choose not to. And honestly stop explaining, just say I stopped, or I see, Ok you are right and move on.
8878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we need to stop using bitcoin and start using... on: May 20, 2017, 05:39:14 PM
... satoshi instead (click-bait master)  Cool

today someone came to me saying how he was regretting not listening to me and investing in bitcoin. apparently he checked the price this morning Cheesy
and he continued that now it is too late since he can not buy 1 whole bitcoin.

i had to sit him down and have the "talk" with him about all the 8 more zeros that come after the 1 whole bitcoin and the fact that he can choose (almost) any of them and put a number and buy there.

that is why i think it is time to start using the smaller units for bitcoin more often.

i myself prefer Satoshi over all. but there are a lot of them.

most popular:
mBTC= 0.00100000BTC
uBTC=bits= 0.00000100BTC
satoshi=0.00000001BTC

more here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Units

True that, you have a valid point out there. I have myself faced this problem, people go berserk when they hear the price. Even gold is pricey but you absolutely do not buy the while bar, you buy bits or grams of it. Maybe if the word satoshi's are used more often that will help them to understand that they to can enjoy it. I will use this next time will post the results here, will get more positive responses, I feel.
8879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RANSOMWARE impact on: May 20, 2017, 05:31:52 PM
I think the bitcoin will fall because of RANSOMWARE,it is impossible/Difficult to track who did this and in futur Bitcoins will be considered as a motivation mean for such act

How will Bitcoins fall due to ransomware if you are indicating that it can get a bad name cause of money was demanded in Bitcoins or that bitcoins account will be hacked and people will loose money? If the former than earlier it was demanded in Fiat, Fiat is yet used by all. If the former it's difficult to hack into Bitcoins, it's highly secure. So I don't think there will be any effect whatsoever in the Bitcoin market.
8880  Other / Off-topic / Re: is worth to buy bitcoins? on: May 20, 2017, 05:26:19 PM
hi;

i have 3000$ and what do you think? im going to buy bitcoins and i will wait for years last;

is worth that decision good ?

Yes though the levels are high I would advise you to buy at every dip. If you can hold for a few year's it will be awesome. The fundamentals of Bitcoins are really strong. The prices will always shoot up and up positively, do not buy all at one go. Keep on investing and you shall achieve a crazy fortune for yourself. But do keep a eye for any event which may hinder it's process. Good luck getting rich
