8901  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-16]Blockchain will Enable all Internet Users to Earn Money on: March 17, 2019, 08:11:00 AM
Governments tend to centralize, the idea of decentralization, especially on the Internet may not appear to be something favored by these governments.
Also, Google's powerful reason is that it collects a lot of data and then you archive it to get useful information and targeted ads.
The adoption of decentralized technology may take place but the government will always find a way to collect personal information. "The only difference is that you will sell them this data or be subject to a law that teaches you that they have used it."
8902  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-16] Andrew Yang is the Bitcoin-Friendly U.S. 2020 Presidential Candidat on: March 17, 2019, 07:40:48 AM
This candidate is much interested in creating more opportunities to work whatever the means, so you can not say frankly that he supports Bitcoin as an idea but as a means to achieve some profit.

Also, accepting Bitcoin & altcoins for his campaign means that he does not care much about the technology as long as he gets money and creates more jobs for citizens, support decentralization does not mean anything.
8903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Movie “Crypto” Shows Hollywood’s Total Misguidedness on: March 17, 2019, 07:01:57 AM
We all know that the look of Hollywood films is the same as the government look and many movies that promote the view of the US government.
I saw the trailer of the film, and it seems that much of the talk is cinematic and a lot of misinformation.
In general, once the cryptocurrency is adopted by governments, that outlook will change.
8904  Other / Off-topic / Re: Pedophiles In Crypto on: March 17, 2019, 06:29:25 AM
Any addict, pedophilia, tries to find a way to get his "source of addiction" without being caught.
Much of the bad reputation for cryptocurrencies is caused by SilkRoad and dark internet sites.
Today, many cryptos are used for speculative purposes as it is easy to track all operations so the rule that all pedophilia use these coins is false.

Also, not all use of privacy-layer cryptos "Dash-Monero" is for the purchase of pornographic material about children or addicts.
8905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cryptocurrency banks needed. on: March 17, 2019, 05:52:53 AM
The idea of banks emerged mainly from being trusted parties that offer guarantees of assets deposited in their banks. These banks offer securities that can be used to sell and buy.
Since 1970 the idea has shifted from a store of assets to promises.
Cryptocurrencies provided a means to conduct transactions without the need for those trusted parties. They provide you with a storage space of 1000 trillion dollars in a small piece of paper. Why do you need to trust anyone?

8907  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you think about the "Iceberg Order"(or the hidden order) on: March 16, 2019, 11:27:12 AM
What do you think about this?
These platforms are trying to be like banks when trying to steal money from customers.
It is better to have a fluctuation in price *because of a sudden sell-off order* than a price manipulation under the table.
I did not understand the purpose of this particular strategy but their excuse was not enough for me.
The market is ahead of a lot of transparency We do not see more manipulation groups.
8908  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 7 Ways How to Report a Scam Exchange on: March 16, 2019, 10:56:31 AM
Your words are true. People should not be discouraged from tracking their money/coins after losing it. Cryptocurrencies are built on transparency "except some altcoins" and everything is recorded. You will not lose your right just asking for it without despair.

The current situation is different from the past, there is more understanding of the nature of this technology until the United States has recovered some of the hacked coins [27BTC].  ----> Bitfinex Recovers Stolen BTC with US Government’s Help and Reimburses Clients

8909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin remain above $4000 this time around? on: March 16, 2019, 10:17:23 AM
The price has seen a gradual rise from the stability of $ 3600 and then settled at $ 3900 for the past two weeks.

Over the past week, we have seen a decline of around $ 3800 so we are likely to go back to $ 3900 if the price does not rise above $ 4100.

In the past, the price has been rising repeatedly once the stability range has broken, so a surprise may occur at this point and the price will rise or "keep" at $ 4000.

8910  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware!! Scammer inTelegram on: March 16, 2019, 09:31:22 AM
Just a little bit of information for you: There's really no bitcoin being sent and received in this case. It's all in the client-side of the website. The hacker is just pretty much changing up values on the website's code.
In some cases, cryptocurrencies are sent officially "on-chain payment" but unfortunately the private key that manages that account is under them control.
[Not your Keys, Not your Coins]

Also, there was a hoax of burned coins "scammer sent outdated token which he did not burn". You can see the details here ----> SCAM ALERT!!! Lost 0.08 BTC [Please stay safe]
So if you do not know the altcoin "not all altcoins are same" sent to you, you will not be safe.

In general: Stay away from all messages sent to you on social networking apps, if they do not scam you, they will waste your time.
8911  Other / Meta / Re: What's the essence of reporting topic to be moved if they can be moved back. on: March 16, 2019, 09:04:58 AM
The main purpose of creating topics is for discussion. If you want to make productive discussions, putting the topic in the right section will help you get more responses.
Most of the people who move topics to the wrong boards' are those who are looking for advertisements, marketing or deceiving others. Report them.

BTW: There must be restrictions on some boards, such as moving topics to exceed the 24-hour restrictions to delete the replies. ex: Marketplace.
8912  Other / Meta / Re: List of Bitcointalk stats on: March 16, 2019, 08:36:40 AM
Good list and excellent coordination but you forgot the best member made such statistics:  @xtraelv

 - The Bitcointalk 10 BTC Donators - where are they now ?
 - Silk road and Bitcointalk. How it played a role in its rise and fall.
 - History on Bitcointalk - Mining equipment scams, shams and failed deliveries.
 - Bitcointalk history of hacks and vandalism.

There are more topics worth mentioning but that user has developed lists similar to you in this topic:
Index to popular bitcointalk threads

I remember that a member was making lists similar to @xtraelv, I will update the reply when I remember.
8913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitmex charts -vs- other exchanges' charts? on: March 16, 2019, 08:04:03 AM
I know the charts for bitmex don't show the true price
What is the "true price"? Do you mean the price that appears on Coinmarketcap and Coingecko.
Coinmarketcap calculates average prices "For more details see this page [1]" but there are large differences between prices on the exchange based on supply and demand at that platform. So if there is a big whale selling on a platform you will find that the price is very different from the other platforms. "The market tends to balance at some point."
If we go back a bit, "the end of 2017," the difference between some platforms was more than $ 1,000, especially on the South Korean platforms.

8914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New P2P market exchange ether for BTC on: March 16, 2019, 07:30:12 AM
I don't mean to think negatively, but I feel there is a fraud on the exchange, if a serious exchange makes the crypto market, honesty and trust are the main goal, if the exchange cannot be accessed, this is enough to make traders suspicious, you have to think again many crypto markets are competing in this era.
Why did you bump this topic? The site does not work for me, and the comments above seem to indicate a lack of professionalism. You can confirm this in the way he has promoted this site.
I think he is a scammer who tried to collect some quick money without making any effort to try to scam others.
I do not think any sane person will try that site.
8915  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam attempt? on: March 16, 2019, 07:01:12 AM
The traditional scam school, I checked his account and he was trying to collect some money from some bounties campaigns and when he did not get enough money he got this idea.
Try to scam desperate people by helping them to return their money.
I thought the text was copy/paste but seemed to put some effort into writing it.
8916  Economy / Reputation / Re: A list of top scammers on the " Digital Goods " market. on: March 16, 2019, 06:24:56 AM
It is the first time I know about this topic. I declare my joining the efforts of others in updating this list continuously.

There are a lot of Scam members that I tagged them on my trust. I wish some DT members to evaluate each case and tag those who deserve it "Mistakes always happen, let me know if I accidentally tag someone."
8917  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAMMER] Donjon88 scamming behind locked threads on: March 16, 2019, 05:59:27 AM
Awaiting a solution to this problem, everyone who wants to buy should follow the general advice that "Do not trust any anonymous person on the Internet, no matter how much discount he offers."
Sorry for your loss, $ 15 is not a big amount but will give a morale boost to the scammer to continue to scam others.
I advise you to join this topic ---> A list of top scammers on the " Digital Goods " market., there are a lot of scammers to report them.

Apologies to all concerned, I will no longer be handing out merit in this thread. Theymos removed me as a merit source because he disagreed with the way I spent my merit. I will leave this thread open and you can continue to post merit requests here if you like; however, I won’t be answering them.

Good luck to all.

8919  Other / Politics & Society / Re: New Zealand ChristChurch mass shootings >:( >:( on: March 15, 2019, 11:09:41 AM
I watched that video and the way these peaceful citizens were killed without any guilt, more than 10 minutes of shooting with all cold blood.
This is the end of violence and counter-violence. It will end only with a cease-fire in all Muslim countries and a rejection of the hate speech against Muslims.

Please be advice that This video may be inappropriate for some users.

Facebook has deleted that video. This terrorist killed them as if he was playing "Call of Duty" game.

"New Zealand Police alerted us to a video on Facebook shortly after the livestream commenced and we quickly removed both the shooter’s Facebook and Instagram accounts and the video," the spokeswoman said.
8920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp Are Down - But Bitcoin is as strong as ever !!! on: March 14, 2019, 11:06:48 AM
when such gaints can run into a problem, what makes you think they can't be shut down ?
LONG LIVE BTC, 100% UPTIME Cheesy
and they want to create a better cryptocurrency digital coin than Bitcoin.
I noticed it on Instagram but I thought the problem was my phone.
In general, there is no perfect system but Bitcoin provides much better solutions than what the central companies offer.
