Currently, I'm using InstaWallet to store my Bitcoin wealth. If by chance my coins are returned, I converting them to gold via Coinabul. Once I get my gold, I'm trading it to Dank for weed. Then I'm going to sell the weed to... I haven't thought that part out yet, but I'm sure it'll be profitable.

I have recently became aware that Michael Marquardt, the forum administrator known as theymos, is under a confidential plea bargain (assisting another to retain the benefit of crime; acquiring, possession and use of criminal proceeds). The forum is logging all access to bitcointalk as well as numerous community sites, including bitcoin.org. This is because the Federal Reserve is about to announce a bitcoin confiscation similar to the closure of the gold window decades earlier. The Department of Homeland Security will knock on the doors of people who have accessed bitcoin related sites multiple times, or is an active user.

Be safe and use a brainwallet! This message will be deleted soon because of Michael Marquardt's plea agreement, however spread the word.

CHEN, THE CHINESE RELIC DEALER IS NOT ONLY RETURNING ALL OF BITCOINICA'S FUNDS, BUT PAYING EVERY SATOSHI THAT WAS SCAMMED MY OTHER ENTITIES TO THOSE WHO LOST OUT. SIMPLY FILE A CLAIM, AND PROVIDE A BITCOIN OR RIPPLE WALLET TO RECEIVE YOUR LOST COINS.

Today is a good day to live!

Introducing The Laissez Faire Electronic Times

by Zola

I put out the first issue of The Laissez Faire City Times on Nov. 1, 1997, which some think of as All Saints Day but which I knew as Nevada Day. I was living in Reno, Nevada at the time.

There were 8 issues in 1997, 44 in 1998, 50 in 1999, 52 in 2000, 53 in 2001 (there were 53 Mondays in 2001), and 6 issues thus far in 2002. Basically I selected (or sometimes wrote) the articles, read them for content, did some copy editing, and set them up initially into html. The Publisher did the graphics, ran the web site, and paid the writers.

The Laissez Faire City Times has had a pretty good impact for an Internet newspaper started from scratch and run on a shoestring.

Unfortunately it has come time for the Publisher Rex Rogers and I to part ways.

Consequently, I am launching a new Internet publication, The Laissez Faire Electronic Times. The Publisher of this new publication will be The Digital Monetary Trust, and writers can, if they choose, have their payments made directly to their anonymous DMT/ALTA accounts.

...

Zola is the editor of The Laissez Faire Electronic Times. Email Zola: ezola@orlingrabbe.com.

from The Laissez Faire Electronic Times, Vol 1, No 1, February 18, 2002
Editor: Emile Zola     Publisher: Digital Monetary Trust

If you been following closely at home, you recognize the name Rex Rogers as being of the the aliases of Sonny Vleisides' real dad, the penny collector.

I'm pretty sure that Emile Zola is Orlin Grabbe. I'm also pretty sure that all parties took the word web literally, spawning (or is it spinning) a massive web of...wait for it...deceit.

Nope :argh:
Webspawner has been GOOD to me.
They are extremely nice people, and got me started on the Internet.
They have a very reasonably priced product that serves many people well.
I JUST got an email from Art Connor - the PRESIDENT of Webspawner himself.
They have a NEW system they are testing and he offered it to me :thumbsup2

Very generous of you. I've been buying copper, since I can't afford precious metals.

Yet he's able to afford a place to store a couple tons of copper to eventually sell it for ten grand, profit made once he subtracts his investment cost.

Even if he's going the save-the-copper-pennies route, he'll need to amass 292,000 pennies to equal a ton. If he sells the pennies at $.05 (5 cents each), he'll earn a whopping 400% profit, having ONLY his time and storage space for the pennies as his overheard, netting him a $11,680 ROI in who-knows-when.

Here's what 2.5 tons of pennies looks like with a face value of only $10,000 being that their mixed clad:

If all copper, and at five cents each, his profit would be $40,000.

I would love to make this and start collecting pennies. Does anyone know what the dimensions are for this?

Obviously she's no Sherlocks Holmes, for clearly one could easily deduce it's approximately 2' X 2' X 7' (the plaque is at eye level, thus a 7' max height; the floor tiles are 12" square).

But let's assume he's the driver of the short bus, and doesn't collect pennies. He's then paying spot for copper bullion which, by the way, will take up a helluva lot more space and have a much higher investment involved. Let's hope he's wearing his glasses and sees the STOP sign straight ahead, otherwise there's going to be some messed up special people, all with pre-orders at BFL.

 BFL_Jody  , 05-19-2013 at 05:55 PM

A few more Jalapenos went out Saturday and a few more Jalapenos will go out Monday.

We have answered more than 1,000 emails in the last week.

I enjoy reading your comments, but I don't have time to answer them individually. I am answering emails 7 days a week as are many of my employees. We appreciate your nice comments and ignore the mean ones. We understand your frustration--we are as anxious as any of you to ship all these orders.

24 x7 = 168 hours in a week. Lets assume she only works half of those.

84 viable hours. She said "We" not "I". That means you can divide 1000 by at least 3.

Lets say 1000 emails divided by 3 Customer Service Agents. (333~ Email per rep)
Then divided by 84 viable hours of work. 333~ / 84 = 4~ per hour. One every fifteen minutes.

That is pretty low volume. I assume each one is incredibly customized and non-reptitive.

---------------------

Or, I can infer that the other 7000 email must be pretty damn negative and are ignored.

Previously the BFL reps used to say they would go through 500 per day. That was their average (self admitted) load.

Now we have Jody saying "We" (unspecified number but I assume more than 5 CS agents) are pumping out 1000 PER WEEK!

Youch...the customer service agents are probably taking a break every 5 minutes. Their productivity levels are now down by quite the margin.

Did I read somewhere that they don't work on weekends?

Quote

If I'm mistaken, then many employees are getting overtime pay. It can't be both ways.

Same true for running a myriad of ads for the lottery scheme and Laissez Faire City episode, both of which Sonny was very much involved in. And now doing the same for BFL.

"We are limited as far as the information we can give to the press as far as the payoff plan is concerned," Houston told a media conference. "Because the Securites and Exchange Commission are watching very carefully to every word that we say publicly."

Houston had been on the lam in Costa Rica for much of the past decade, but surrendered to authorities last year and was convicted of wire fraud in an international lottery scam.

Sonny knew Houston was on the lame.

In one of the two posts by Sonny Vleisides on this forum, he stated that he met and started working with his long lost real father (his real mother, now married to Chris Vleisides is Costa Rican) in the late 90's, which is a lie.

Quote
He moved to simply guaranteeing the ticket results on his own via re-insurance pools (US Patent application number US 2004/0058726 A1).  At some point after that <like 2005> it became clear to him that he could use a sportsbook license to clarify legality and allow his customers to bet on the outcome of a lottery without buying a lottery ticket.  So instead of "I bet the Giants win by 7", it's "I bet the NY Lottery pick 3 is 4-7-2".  He built international lottery products like this and took them to market.  I helped him.

Details about My trip to Costa Rica

Question & Answer Format

First of all: everyone needs to understand that LFC is not inviting us to Costa Rica to try and get us to 'move' into the community there; (however, I chose to do so, and it is possible). The purpose of the trip is to expose LFC's new NET Technology to REAL PEOPLE in a fun and interesting 'focus group' format. . ... Remember that the TECHNOLOGY is what is important - when it is finally released to the world at large, 99% of the users will NOT MOVE ANYWHERE .. at least in the physical world. But they will learn how to use these tools to build a new world of privacy and wealth in the virtual 'new frontier' of Cyberspace.

Sounds to me like a sockpuppet on Sonny's webspawner website.

8974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I shut down instawallet on: May 20, 2013, 06:19:46 PM
In Late March of 2013, I published an open letter to Instawallet and the whole team at Paymium.

The problem that was exposed was the fact that Google was listing all their private URLs. A few weeks later Instawallet was shut down.

What I discovered was actually only the tip of the iceburg.

http://www.adaptiveglass.com/?p=762

I was all ears and eyeballs when the URL concern was at it's peak, of which you were kind enough to point out the exploits.

Quote
My inital estimates were WAY off. Google only showed about 100 or so bitcoins in the index. Whereas when reading forums and reddit, I found that Bing, Yahoo and others had thousands of urls containing tens of thousands of bitcoins.

I asked tough questions, so I thought, but my concerns were laid to rest, opting to not pursue it further due to the respect I had for the principals.

I quoted the above to state that I did find a many funded addresses via Bing and Yahoo, unaware that such were being discussed on other forums, reddit, etc. The idea just came naturally to me. Upon seeing for myself that it was true (not touching a single coin belonging to others), is when I started expressing my concern.

I had way too many bitcoins on InstaWallet, even though I was well aware of consequences, but I trusted the crew who manned it, just like I would trust theymos, Roger, or Rassah, to have control of my bitcoins if they happened to be running some similar site.

With my concerns alleviated, I didn't think much more about IW, until the 2-3 days after the dam broke, and only brought to my attention by greyhawk via some other thread.

My questions and concerns were then not addressed by Boussac, with davout nowhere to be found during that timeframe. I then went into vial mode, of which probably didn't help matters. Now, I'm in wait-and-see mode, hoping for the best.

At one time, I had over a quarter of a million dollars worth of bitcoins on IW in three wallets: 1000 BTC; 123.xxx or 132.xxx BTC (honestly don't remember, but submitted the 123.xxx BTC amount to be fair, not knowing what the xxx...'s are); and .84 BTC.

I honestly don't know if losing such a large sum justified my rant, for I've never been in a similar situation before, thus not knowing how to properly act. I finally settled down, realizing that that would probably be the best course of action, coupled with I wouldn't be out that much, if any, real money if the worse case scenario comes to past. But if it does, I will be screaming at the top of my lungs as if I did lose a fortune.

Switched on the A/C yesterday... kind of shocked it still works. Before I bought the house, the bank owned it. They apparently don't do jack-shit in research on the people they hire for maintenance. Lawn maintenance people managed to cut through both the solid copper (and fairly thick!) A/C wire and the cheap vinyl siding (they pretty severely cut the siding, and that was a big PitA to get back on right -- still haven't done one of the corners). They cut out a big section of the wire, so I used cheap copper-strand wire and aluminum connectors to keep it going, since that's what I had on-hand. So far, nothing terrible's happened. Temperatures on the connectors are fine and it's pulling exactly as much electricity as it should.

I suffered through a >105*F Summer in PA 2 or 3 years ago without A/C (took naps in the car for "sleep" on the hottest weeks). Now it's a decent 78*F indoors and have a window unit waiting in the garage if the rusty old central unit craps out. Don't have a bunch of GPU miners, now (it'd get over 130*F ambient in mining room before with a bunch of box fans moving air in and out of the house -- was basically like being in a dehydrator with 15 MPH winds -- I'd smoke in there and lose about 80% of the tobacco to the wind smoking it for me), so at least I'm not combating wasted energy in the form of heat with a fairly powerful window unit going full-blast which couldn't even get temps to what they were outside. Definitely wish I set the gardens up to automatically water before the Summer heat came, though.

Oh yea, you moved to some place in Indiana, didn't you? If I recall correctly, you were looking to rent or buy in Indiana.

My old stomping grounds was Northwest Indiana. How far are you from that general area? PM me and I'll tell you what town I grew up in, whereupon you don't have to state where you are.

Once upon a time, there was a Jesus. She walked out unadorned. Then, as bagpipes blared and didgeridoos fell, the star exploded.

Enter the vassals, creating comically obscene gestures with cryptocurrencies. Jesus cried!

Andy B. Casagrande immortalized the scene with photography. Space robots had been shoving corn vicariously into other crevices, hoping that Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis... perhaps silicosis, or QueerOsis, or trees could accomplish impossible synchronizations.

Fifteen wishes weren't exceptionally productive. She touched herself vigorously with tremendous pillows; creaming out butter flavored LiteCoins. Ironically, Bitcoins never lowered the dust limit so that Luke-Jr would be anally probed by martians invading us to steal our fish for little did we know, Fish is the solution to all our global problems! Seamen relentlessly fapped out the next generation of ASICS which actually works without any electricity at all. Powered by shipwrecks, signals meant that mermaids knew cryptographic encryption algorithms' weaknesses in theory but, in reality, Rpietila gave all.

Thursday passed without BFL taking the biggest shit, which when combined with their largest fanboy, Atlas, every miner stabbed Satoshi irregardless. Meanwhile, trolls eating crow poop, crow testicles, and God's vagina laughed.

Artichokes roasted sweetly over flaming gays, joyfully prepared numerously spiced blockchains sacrificing virgins disregarding matter. Therefore Jesus announced peasantry raping holidays. Upon reflection, Jesus quixotically decided retroactively somewhere in Reptilia's bosom to fuck an ant hill and myrkul touched himself feverishly ravishing all pillows! Lophie touched electrically his "contacts", pondering why her earlobes looked so tasty dipped in mustard sauce from Meze's toilet. Meanwhile, under scrutiny from DHS, MTGox got DDOS'ed by CIA bots, Chinese pygmies licked thousands, drooling custard from cracks forgone.

Alas, we combusted gloriously into eternity with malevolent douchenozzles. Faunlets screamed condescendingly into their rapists' buttholes. Nymphet's carefully propositioned orgies began fondling Eminem's mobile phone until climax commenced. Jailbaits serendipitously surrounded Clinton's ASICS with their pussy cats. "STOP!" The sign clearly said across a dark alley. Cheese fell curiously from long faces, inedible, moldy, green, and cheesy testicles blossomed into uncanny tsundoku associations. Yanderes' throbbing cunts glistened against

I just thought of something terrible (or maybe not). What if Josh returns to KC to find that Sonny is nowhere to be found? Imagine the drama!

We all know Josh is gonna be the fall guys in this ...

Imagine the thread: I was BFL's Fall Guy

It saddens me to report bad news to the Bitcoin community, where you all know I love and hold a special place in my heart.

First the good news: I'm no longer employed at BFL.

Now the bad news: Sonny Vleisides...

...

I haven't been paid in three weeks, always receiving excuses as to why...

I never had a key to the facility, always having to wait till Sonny...

Sonny made me post vial and diss the BT community...

The quarter I gave to Bryan was meant as a lighthearted joke...

The last party we had at the office, Sonny made me wear a red nose to have the crew laugh at me...

Jody did keep her chickens at the warehouse, where they nested in all the boxes that was supposed to have parts within, but didn't...

I didn't even have my own office space with the except of the photo and video shoot...

I will now accept and answer any question truthfully--Honest Abe.

Unless there's a death in the family, there shouldn't be any reason all five principals can't be there posing for a photoshoot.

Give them another week, thus giving them to getting over jet lag from attending the Bitcoin conference--incognito, of course.
