8961  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: September 01, 2017, 12:43:53 AM
I think there a lot of altcoins which have a constant pattern of rising in value, then declining back to their original price, like Ethereum and Doge.
are you never trading Eth?

I don't usually trade Ethereum that much, as I only mine and hold it for the long term. Dogecoin is an altcoin which I trade regularly, and due to its constant price movements, I've been able to increase my investments tenfold.

If you closely analyse the charts, you'll notice that Dogecoin is one of the best coins out there to maximize your profits within a short amount of time.

As long as it is actively traded on the markets, it could become a very useful tool to help your investment grow by following the right strategies. Smiley

Long term investment with bitcoins is the best method of making tremendous profit with bitcoins. Bitcoins never disappoint you when you hold onto them in the dumping phases. After every dump, bitcoins pump hard and that is the time when they please their true lovers. Altcoins are good for day trading.

Agree. Bitcoin is extremely ideal for long term investments as its price is on a constant uptrend. Due to its volatile nature, you can make use of this to double or even triple your investments, just by making the right moves on the market.

But, the best ones are altcoins as they're even more volatile than the pioneer cryptocurrency itself, making them ideal for day trading and short term profits.

Therefore, cryptocurrencies are full of many opportunities that will help you grow your investment for the long term. They're even better than investing in stocks, and saving money in a bank account, as the rewards are higher in the long term. Just my opinion Smiley
8962  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: August 28, 2017, 09:24:00 PM
Bitcoins are the backbone of the crypto market. Digital currency world can’t survive without bitcoins. People are attracted towards digital currencies mostly because of bitcoins. When bitcoins are creating history, how can anyone consider them dead? They are alive and more energetic than ever.

Exactly. Bitcoin is the reserve currency of crypto land. Every altcoin has at least a BTC trading pair, so they will depend on the pioneer cryptocurrency's existence to survive for the long term.

Therefore, the more Bitcoin rises in value and popularity, so will the other cryptocurrencies on the market. Bitcoin is the standard of any cryptocurrency in existence, and its development will greatly impact the whole Blockchain ecosystem for many years to come.

Nevertheless, with all the recent uptrend that Bitcoin has experienced lately, it is hard to say that it will become dead anytime soon. Just my opinion Smiley
8963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: August 28, 2017, 08:35:26 PM
when I first started in bitcoin, I was hesitant about it, I doubt its potential, but as time pass by I now understood how important and big bitcoin can become .

Same as me. I've doubted many times of Bitcoin becoming widely used as a global currency within my early days. Given the fact that it is a new money system which gives people control over their own funds, it would've been hard for anyone to adopt it in the mainstream world.

However, nowadays that is not the case as Bitcoin has increased in user interest, as well as development and education about its underlying technology, making it one step closer towards changing our world for the better.

If I should've known about Bitcoin earlier, then I would've bought lots of coins and cash them out for profit nowadays. But despite everything, it was better to join Bitcoin late than never, as it has made me gain better control over my finances.

Nevertheless, all the experiences we learn with Bitcoin can serve out to become useful in the future to help out new people in their time of need. The more Bitcoin increases in user adoption, the more it will likely to rise in value, leaving us with greater spending power in the future. Just my thoughts Grin
8964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: August 28, 2017, 08:28:32 PM
I dont think so, what made you think that it will be replaced by another crypto currency? Bitcoin is the most trusted crypto now and has the largest value. Even the one on second place to bitcoin can't replace it. It has made its name to the community for ages.

True. Bitcoin has established its name among the crypto space for many years since its inception. It has been the first cryptocurrency that brought us the blockchain technology, where most of the things we have now, couldn't have been possible without it.

While it has an advantage over the markets, there could exist a possibility of becoming replaced by another cryptocurrency if it aims to provide better technology and solve many of the issues underlying the pioneer cryptocurrency. The odds of this becoming a reality are very small, but anything could happen if Bitcoin fails to deliver a solid scaling solution to handle large transaction throughput.

With the inception of Bitcoin Cash, the battle against Bitcoin has strengthened even further, increasing the possibilities of a takeover in the pioneer cryptocurrency's market cap. The final step of SegWit2x is bound to come into effect this November, so I guess that we will have to wait and see what happens by then, to be able to determine Bitcoin's future in the market. Just my opinion. Smiley
8965  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 28, 2017, 08:23:41 PM
It takes a lot of things to only be able to compete with dollars (not replace). It may take a very large adoption where the user has covered the whole world, then there is no problem with bitcoin, etc. It takes a lot of things because the dollar is very strong and difficult to replace

Agree. A lot of factors must be taken into consideration before Bitcoin can stay at the pace of fiat currencies like the dollar. Over the course of years, the dollar has remained as a prominent and trusted currency by people all over the world. It has been the reserve currency for quite some time, and it will become difficult for Bitcoin to gather that trust from average everyday people.

The pioneer cryptocurrency is still at its infancy, with many underlying issues such as the ability to scale for a wider audience, greatly reducing its chances from becoming used in the mainstream world. It may take a couple of years from now, for Bitcoin to fully mature into a solid cryptocurrency that will be able to handle all of the world's payments.

When this day comes, Bitcoin may not replace the dollar, but it will certainly become used alongside the dollar for everyday transactions. Just my thoughts Grin
8966  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 28, 2017, 08:17:15 PM
Bitcoins are nothing to be misused or handled incautiously. Bitcoins are the future currency. They are as important for bright future as our education is. Only a fool can cash out bitcoins for fun. Those who are having bitcoins at present are the lucky persons because in the near future prices are going to rise beyond limits and it would be not easy to earn bitcoins.

Exactly. These times are not such where you would cashout all of your Bitcoins, as it will make you lose a huge opportunity for profiting in the future. If you invest into Bitcoin nowadays, and save them up for the long term, then you'll achieve greater results than doing so with other real world assets or commodities.

A terrible thing that you could do is save your fiat currency for the long term, as it is subject to inflation and will make your capital net worth decrease over time. As with Bitcoin, this is not a problem since it is deflationary by design, making it increase in value the more scarce it becomes.

Therefore, if you combine saving with investing into Bitcoin, you'll have greater chances of expanding your capital within a couple of years from now. Of course, it is always important to take into consideration Bitcoin's volatility, but if you manage to get a hold of it, nothing should go wrong. Just my opinion. Smiley
8967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: August 28, 2017, 08:11:51 PM
This is just a discussion and anticipation topic but I still believe in Litecoin because this market has great potential in the future. Although Bitcoin prices have increased, Litecoin remains stable

Agree. Litecoin has remained stable and has managed to gather consensus quite quickly when adopting SegWit, in contrast to Bitcoin. Over the course of years, LTC has remained actively traded on the markets, and have slowly increased in price, making it ideal for investing into for the long term.

One huge advantage that Litecoin has over Bitcoin, is that transactions are extremely fast, and has lower fees, making it easier to become used in the mainstream world.

Therefore, as long as Litecoin is able to deliver fast transaction speeds, and stability, it will survive for many years to come. With all of this in mind, Litecoin is far from becoming dead anytime soon. It just needs an active development to push it further, and help strengthen its place on the markets. Just my thoughts Grin
8968  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: August 28, 2017, 08:01:55 PM
I can see old coins are fading away, new coins are taking their place..

Yeah. This is what usually happens with most altcoins, where they are left behind and become replaced by newer ones. Since most of them are full of hype, they only serve as a speculative tool, rather than a serious investment in the long term.

Things aside, I think that Ethereum will remain in its rightful place in the markets for many years to come as it has an active development team and community support. With this in mind, it could make it an ideal altcoin worth buying, as it will become better and stronger than ever. And once it becomes a full PoS cryptocurrency, it may rise even further in price, making it extremely profitable for those who have bought it earlier.

Nevertheless, whichever altcoin you choose to buy, make sure to do your own research just to be safe. Just my thoughts Grin
8969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: August 28, 2017, 07:48:02 PM
2017 is a year of turbulence and bitcoin's ongoing development effort. The result is that at present, Bitcoin's price has reached over $ 4,000 and is well known all over the world. There have been rumors of Bitcoin disappearing, people massively selling BTC made the BTC price drop sharply. But BTC has come back vigorously with the help of a new Altcoin that is BCash. This promises an extremely bitcoin development by the end of 2017

Agree. This year has marked a significant milestone for Bitcoin as we know it. Both interest and price have risen exponentially over the course of the year, making it stronger than ever and closer towards mainstream usage and adoption.

Thanks the emergence of Bitcoin Cash, development for the pionner cryptocurrency will spike, making it bigger than ever as time goes by. Now, users can have the choice of the security and reliability of Bitcoin, while at the same time, making use of fast transactions and low fees with the forked BCH version.

With this, Bitcoin's load will be reduced further, opening up its way towards endless growth in the upcoming years. Once the remaining part of SegWit2x comes into effect in November successfully, Bitcoin will greatly increase in price and user adoption as it will be capable of processing more transactions than it ever did since its inception.

Nevertheless, no matter what happens with Bitcoin, it will be here to stay for many years to come. Just my opinion Smiley

Also, there is a wide array of Bitcoin games to choose from for mobile devices, especially within the Android operating system. Just sharing my thoughts Grin
8971  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: August 28, 2017, 07:34:25 PM
I will say one thing for PIGGY coin.  The wallet is cute and it's geared towards families and kids as a type of virtual piggy bank.  The staking is always consistent and it doesn't take a lot of coins to start seeing coins coming in.

Nice. PIGGY looks like a very interesting coin to stake for the long term. It has user friendliness in mind, which could help anyone to get started using it right away. Kids may find this one very useful, as it will allow them to build up their wealth, with no age requirement (unlike traditional payment systems).

One thing for sure, is that this PoS coin has an active development and community support, making it ideal to invest into it to profit in the future.

What about Agri Novus coin. It has POS of 60% per year.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059823.0

Interesting. With a high stake rate of 60% per year, it could become quite attractive for anyone who is willing to reach ROI within a short time frame. While nothing is guaranteed here, it could be an ideal way to profit if it remains actively traded in the markets, and its value doesn't plummet over the long term.

I've noticed that most PoS coins which offer high stake rates per year like Hyperstake, eventually end up losing their value over time as a result of inflation. But, if you're looking to make money within a short time, and not use this as a means for long term investing, then this would be the most ideal choice. Just my opinion Smiley
8972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: August 28, 2017, 07:20:47 PM
Zcash less a priority to be an option in investing, with the lack of which has been mentioned friends here. Just boom at the beginning, and end up like most altcoins, ie down and more. Zcash more suitable for altcoin to earn profit from trading.

Couldn't agree more with you, mate. ZCash is more ideal for short term investing, rather than using the same as a serious investment tool for the long term. When it first started, it was within the $1k range, but quickly dropped in value. It is up to this point, where ZEC has been having a hard time trying to rise back to its original levels, since it cannot provide innovation where other altcoins have taken the lead.

If ZEC would've implemented a cross-platform wallet with user friendliness in the first place, then it would've had a major interest from everyday people helping it gain momentum in the mainstream world. But, the way I see it, development for ZEC is too slow and it may take a couple of years (if it ever does) to see a real wallet become released for it.

Another thing, is that the privacy part of ZEC is not enforced by default, making the majority of transactions take place in the transparent area of it, instead of driving more usage towards Shielded Transactions. Those who are not tech savvy will believe that their transactions are being private, when in reality it is not (unless they use the Shielded Transactions feature). In this part, I think that Monero wins as it enforces privacy over every transaction, making it nearly impossible to track any balance within a block explorer. Just my thoughts Grin
8973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 28, 2017, 07:10:51 PM
Based on the volume trade per day, the price and the user itself. If many people keep trading and using that altcoin so we don't need to worry about that. That altcoin will survive for sure, i think not only litecoin and dogecoin that will survive but other altcoin too like Dash, LTC, Ethereum, NEM and many else.

Agree. Altcoins survival is limited to the amount of trading volume it has, and user interest to keep it going. When an altcoin cannot deliver constant development and innovation, it will stale and eventually die as people will switch out to a different coin which is being actively supported by its underlying development team and community.

Of course, many altcoins have managed to remain actively traded over the years like Litecoin and Dogecoin, making them survive as long as there is money flowing into them. Perhaps, the altcoins we see today as the most prominent ones on the market, may not be so within a couple of years from now.

One thing for sure is that altcoins are usually full of hype, and when that hype cycle is over, people will leave them behind to choose the newest ones in the market. Take a look at ZCash for example, which was overhyped within its early days since launch, but eventually fell down in value, as the hype period came to an end.

Therefore, it would be wise to buy and hold old altcoins like Litecoin, Dogecoin, and even Namecoin for the long term, as they have remained stable in community support for many years since their inception. Just my opinion Smiley
8974  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 28, 2017, 07:02:27 PM
Bitcoins are ideal for the cashless society again that is only possible in ideal world. Looking at things with realistic approach, we come to know that there are 3rd world countries and they are part of our society. Cashless society can be created only in the developed countries.

Yeah. Sadly, third world countries are always behind developed ones, making it difficult for them to adopt new technologies that will transform their society for the better. One great limitation to these countries, is that there is no internet access, or sometimes access to the same is very limited. With this, they won't be able to adopt Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies quickly, making a cashless society far from becoming a reality.

However, this may be subject to change, as costs would become reduced over time, making technologies like the internet much cheaper for anyone to get access to. Perhaps, a company or startup in the future may help spread internet access to anyone in the world, to overcome the current limitations third world countries face. When this comes into effect, then people will start using cryptocurrencies more, driving them towards adopting a cashless society in the future.

With the recent interest from governments into blockchain technology, a cashless society come into effect in a couple of years from now. Just sharing my thoughts Grin

8976  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 25, 2017, 04:27:09 PM
If I had a lot of Bitcoin right now, I would spend some part of it, to contribute to the economy, while the rest will be held onto a paper wallet for the long term. The vast amount of Bitcoin that will be spent, will be used towards investing in things that will help me grow my capital over the long term.

Things like real estate, Gold, and even investing in masternodes, can help me double or triple my capital, eventually leaving me with more Bitcoins than what was initially invested.

Therefore, if you have the opportunity to get a lot of Bitcoin, spend it wisely, to help build up your way towards financial success. Wink
8977  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 25, 2017, 04:10:23 PM
Investing is far better than saving money. Saving money can give you 7% interest per year… just? Investing is the key to growing up the money and especially in bitcoins that will double triple your money just have some good technical and analysis skills.

Agree. You can't live without investing, as only depending on saving will make your money stale instead of helping it grow for the long term. Your chances of growing your capital are even tripled, if you use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Since Bitcoin is always rising in value, you can rest assured that you will make lots of money over the long term. Also, there are other cryptocurrencies which are stakeable and offer high interest rates. Those rates are a lot higher than a bank's savings account, making it an ideal choice for building your wealth at a quicker rate.

Therefore, if you combine both saving and investing with cryptocurrencies, you'll be able to have a successful financial life that will last for many years to come. Just my thoughts. Grin
8978  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: August 25, 2017, 03:20:47 PM
It is a good thing to set a goal and to have a dreams with bitcoin because it could actually help you in being a good investor or trader in the future. It it sure that setting and having 1 bitcoin is a hard thing to achieve but if you are going to invest a lot of time for you to learn thing just like the proper trading a good way to invest it is possible enough to achieve it. So continue to set goals for you to have a good thing to look up for you to earn more.

Yeah. Reaching the goal of 1 Bitcoin may be difficult for anyone lacking the capital to invest into it, but if you're willing to put the time and effort to do so, then nothing should stop you from doing this and beyond.

The beauty of Bitcoin is that it will tend to become more valuable over time, leaving you with the opportunity to profit even more than investing in real world assets like Gold. Its price has increased exponentially over the course of this year, and it could rise even further as it completes another milestone of its SegWit2x scaling solution.

Once the 2mb block size increase comes into effect, and becomes successful, then it will have a major impact in the pioneer cryptocurrency's price, allowing you to reach your ROI in no time.

Therefore, if you set your goals into Bitcoin, then you can rest assured to have a stable financial life for many years to come. Just my thoughts Grin
8979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: August 25, 2017, 03:15:13 PM
This coin is the same as all the others and should also be treated with confidence. All this hype will eventually pass, and the coin will remain. So use it. Good luck.

Yeah. ZEC is just like another altcoin in crypto land. There is no real active development and innovation, with the only exception of intergrating an additional feature for privacy over its transactions.

Since it has the underlying founder's reward tax, I think that the main purpose for ZEC's creation was for its company to obtain profits, rather than deliver a solid cryptocurrency for the masses. It is up to this date, where I haven't seen anything new related to ZEC, where it lacks a cross-platform wallet for mainstream acceptance.

On the other hand, ZCoin has better development and community which could make it survive for many years to come. Since it doesn't have a founder's reward tax, miners get all the profit for themselves, just like any other cryptocurrency in existence. I believe that this model is far more decentralized than the one ZCash has.

Despite everything, ZEC could be more useful as a speculative tool rather than a serious investment. Perhaps, after the slow start period and founder's reward is over, we might see a serious change in its value. It would be wise to watch over its price movements over time, and profit whenever you see the chance. Just my opinion Smiley
8980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: August 25, 2017, 02:06:13 PM
I dont see any problem with litecoin at all, last 7 months all altcoins jumped with bitcoin at 2000 dollars, but bitcoin now is already 4000 dollars, altcoins crashed a lot loosing the gain from the last months, litecoin as some people say is good to make tests to then bitcoin improvements, transactions are very fast and it wont die.

Agree. Litecoin has managed to become a stable cryptocurrency over the course of years, and has served as a testing ground for Bitcoin's future developments. The way LTC slowly increases in price over time, shows that it will become stronger than ever, and will survive for the long term alongside Bitcoin.

Of course, Litecoin lacks real development and innovation, but as long as it remains a usable and actively traded cryptocurrency, it will remain on the market for many years to come. One thing for sure is that Litecoin has a well unified community, unlike Bitcoin, pushing upgrades at a faster rate, allowing it to scale smoothly without any forthcoming issues.

Nevertheless, it may be good to buy Litecoins for the long term, as it may prove to become extremely valuable over the course of years. Just my thoughts Grin
