I voted for option no 3 and am thinking to be fair to the POLO mods of just giving them a little bounty bag every month as a giveaway for their hard work which would come from the giveaway section.

maybe I have missed something here. Why would Polo mods be getting bounty bags? For being mods in trollbox? Even if they are hosting giveaways ect this benefits polo by keeping peoples focus on polo.

It's great that Polo hosted the ICO and blah blah blah. Polo like all other exchanges is a business that makes money from volume trading. I'm not sure why you would give them even 1 extra QBK?

I'm all for promotion and the such but as a bagholder(ICO investor) I do not want to see any profits or potential profits going to exchanges or their employees for doing their jobs. If busoni or anyone else is providing support outside of the normal services provided then this can be addressed and should be notated on the balance ledger in great detail.

If I am "out to lunch" on this please explain.

I have wondered this same exact thing. If Polo has helped out in an extra way, say they helped look over the code for you, or helped with organization... done something extra helpful, I'd be fine giving them a little extra bounty from the giveaway/bounties pool, for this month only. I see no reason to want to give them monthly bounties for simply hosting the ico/coin, as they get paid via trading fees already.

Yes this have done a lot extra, they did look over the code, they mined the coin when it needed pow to move the blockchain, Busoni is making the ICO payments daily when we are putting requests in, the Mods always help me out in IRC private chat when I need something addressing, so yes they have helped us out a lot...and are still helping. So my offering a little bag from bounties section as a thank you for their EXTRA help I didn't think was too much of an issue especially as it doesn't affect Bagholder pool payouts.

I only mentioned this offer it as a small token for all the work they are doing in helping us handle the ICO funds, they never requested any bounties or gifts and they never charged us an ICO hosting fee, unlike Bitttrex and C-CEX that charge BTC EXTRA... was just a small suggestion but it doesn't mean we will go through with it. We are all thinking allowed here. It would have also come form the bounties and giveaway pool which would not affect Bagholders in any way fiscally.

I see your point.. although there is still a lot of middle ground and I expect the devs will take everything into consideration before making their final decision, regardless of the poll

Yeah, but just wondering if I am overlooking something and there is any reason to not have a cap? I mean, some folks feel there is no need for one and exchanges should take about 40% of their monthly payouts. What possible reason is there to choose that?

A number of people here were keen on spending 25 btc or so of the ICO money to basically achieve what could be accomplished by simply not giving exchanges payouts.

I know lol and this is even better than burning the coins.. Cheesy Smiley Smiley

No-cap/Cap voting is closer than I expected it to be at this point. Although it is a small sample size.

I'm just wondering what benefit is there to not having a cap? Curious if anyone who voted for the first option would mention why they chose to give exchanges a percentage of the payouts?

I voted for option no 3 and am thinking to be fair to the POLO mods of just giving them a little bounty bag every month as a giveaway for their hard work which would come from the giveaway section.

But assuming the coin gets on Bittrex too, or other exchanges, do you plan to give their mods a giveaway every month as well? It's like giving gifts to kids... how can you give one kid a gift and not expect the others to put their hand out too?

I'd think a bounty for this month only, due to running the ICO and such, would make sense. I'm not sure why they should get bounties every month though.

Voting-wise, I obviously voted for number 3. I am just curious if I overlooked some benefit to not having a cap. Perhaps some folks vote randomly or don't realize by choosing the first option they will actually get less in the way of payouts. It's sort of rare for people to vote themselves less money.

I have no idea lol to be honest. I wonder why people would sell the coin they bought after ICO at half price within a few hours of purchasing..my mind boggles at that also rofl.

A healthy days trading..   Smiley Keep up the good work..

healthy is a big world as a lot of people bought when was the ico.
We are far from the buying price...
Oh , i see also a sell of 26k for under this famous ICO ...  Roll Eyes

I also bought in the ICO as well but I know what developments we have in place and what our Team has been doing all week. Slowly slowly the damage of the mass fud campaign is being eroded by hard work and commitment. We have future safeguards coming into place that will lead to a healthy stable rise in price, plus assets. The ICO attracted many gamblers who bailed in the first couple of hours, what we are now building is a platform for longer term investors and building a brand including blockchain technologies that haven't even been born yet. Smiley. Whoever bailed out early and sold under their buying price of course lost, but those who decide they wish to stay the course with us will be the true winners. We are committed to our long term Bagholders and Investors and to creating a healthy Crypto Currency environment to trade in also. Only the Casino type mentality won't win here. Macao would be a better place for that..

What do we have here?  This is new. The FOUNDER'S Club.

One for me .... one for you. Two for me .... one for you. Three for me .... one for you...

This keeps getting better and better. I have to give credit for the transparency though.

The founder's club benefits will come out of the bounties/giveaway pool, not payouts. Although the name sort of implies it's special goodies for the developers, it's  meant for those who hold 10K or more coin... so regular investors are included too.

It's not a bad idea really. Besides the fact we'd want big holders to hold, it may help get around the issue of some folks selling after signing up for payouts and doing the wallet check ... and buying back in right before. Keeps things more stable.

And smaller investors should get some goodies too, at least based on what was stated:

Quote
We will from the bounties and giveaways funds have incentives also for EVERYONE, small holders and large so everyone will benefit form even more goodies than just their monthly dividends and staking income.

Just to make a point here not all the QBK Team own 10k or more coins at present. We all had to purchase coins in the ICO or after with our own funds, save for the 0.5 btc we earned given to us by the 2 Angels for one months prep work. Other than that we have had to use our own personal savings to buy up our own coins. We didn't use any of the ICO fund or the 500k Premine for ourselves. Just want to make that point for new comers in case they never read the ANN correctly.  Smiley

Oh just say say from my trading to grow our stable fund we are up 40% also so there is some profit already being generated for our Bagholders.

You are absolutely right on both points.. however as you say there's no real way to stop anyone from splitting up the coins. So may as well keep it percentage based across the board.

As a general policy though, I think it's a good idea for the cap. Not everyone is evil, so many may stick to the rules. The devs can also use blockchain analysis and other things to sort of semi-enforce the cap, or at least do so as best they can.

So long as the cap is announced once the dividend thing is set up, it's also not unfair to anyone. There are no huge megawhales right now besides Poloniex (at least based on looking at the rich list currently), so if anyone out there decided to buy up 10-20% of the coins, they'd know the rule beforehand. It'd only be unfair if someone bought up a huge amount of coins expecting full payments.

I'll also add, under the initial ICO rules, a megawhale would only get 1 max share, regardless of number of coins held. So I can't see anyone complaining about a cap, as it's still more than they would have gotten using the old rules.
Nice input and ideas, thank you..This is what e encourage in our Community.. Smiley

I don't see why we should discriminate against mega whales. If someone wants that many coins why should they be penalised? They had to buy them, right? So mega whales should also get the fair reward..

Well... on one hand, you are right. They bought the coins, so they should get a fair reward.

But, how do we differentiate between an exchange or megawhale? An exchange could just break off a chunk of their holdings and claim they are a regular investor, wanting their 15% of total rewards.

It'd also benefit the coin more if there were less megawhales too, as generally you don't want one person holding too many coins. They become a sword hanging over everyone's heads.

You are absolutely right on both points.. however as you say there's no real way to stop anyone from splitting up the coins. So may as well keep it percentage based across the board.

Logistically it's so much easier for us to do it percentage based but that is just my point of view as a Team member, our time would be better spent on growing the coin and making revenues.

Good idea.. Well whales will have to register in Bagholder area with only one address to be paid and yes exchanges earn from the trades so makes sense. Let's put the vote up and see what happens..

Yeah, but what I was saying is... say MegaWhale has 15% of the entire supply... he's a big fat whale.

He then breaks up that 15% into three wallets of 5% each. He registers on your dividend signup page as three different people, at 5% each, and wants payment to three different btc wallets.

What's to stop him or an exchange from doing so?

We have a founders club opening for founder members with 10k and above coins to get extra perks so they can benefit that way also. This is why we have 3 types of options..Trying to please everyone with a choice from the feed back we have. Smiley I also purchased 26k coins so I would also be in that whale group but I voted to give bit more distribution to those with less coins.

POLL IS OPEN FOR ONE WEEK WHILE WE GET THE MEMBERS AREAS OPEN.
