8981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 13, 2021, 03:38:59 PM
Its really clear that Lakers might have the fastest way to earn 20 wins this season because their team is disciplined and really follows the strict guidelines. Sixers can also get their 20 wins but due to the recent circumstances with Seth gone and Ben Simmons skipping town for some reason is really not a good way to start their games this season. They could do the bubble again but that would really require a big financial capital because some players might agree and some might not.
With the Lakers standing, they are almost half to 20 wins. It's been decided already that it's for their own courts where they'll play. And they are to decide with or without fans on their court but most of them say that they'll have no fans while having a match. I also like the bubble, there's not much problem and it was a success when they've first tried it. But let's give this a chance to see if it will surpass the bubble season.
8982  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May tax ba ang Cryptocurrency? on: January 13, 2021, 02:52:45 PM
As long as you stay low key and private, walang magiging problema.

Napaka fucked up ng sistema sa pinas, you pay tax for what?

Better to keep your life private and lowkey.
8983  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 13, 2021, 01:56:41 PM
Pwedeng new design nila yan.
8984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: January 12, 2021, 11:51:18 PM
Lots of free streams shared on Facebook without those annoying images around. Although that was random games. Try to follow some NBA or basketball-related groups. That's where I watch live.

But for specific games, there will really a time that you need to break your wallet.
That's also what I do when I'm looking for a live stream for an NBA game. Just look for the specific dates and schedules of a certain game for you to be able to search exactly the match that you're looking for. They're easy to find out.
Just search it on that scheduled time with the same keywords as the name of the teams on that particular match. But if you can do  with NBA tv or league pass, both are good options.

This is new, thanks!

I've found this article: https://mb.com.ph/2021/01/12/why-smb-nlex-and-phoenix-vic-manuel-reveals-reasons-behind-his-wish-list/

Vic Manuel's wishlist on what team he wants to be traded are Phoenix, NLEX, or SMB.

Phoenix because of Calvin Abueva and Coach Topex
NLEX because of Coach Yeng Guiao
SMB because of Danny Ildefonso
Vic Manuel + Calvin Abueva? hmmmm. That's a good choice if Phoenix will offer him a contract. What I'm starting to think now is that what if these teams on his wishlist only offer him a 1-year contract?
Will he take it or will have the same reaction as what he did on Alaska.

That would be a damn move if he would sign that contract from other teams but Danny Espiritu is a good agent so i think hw could make a good deal beneficial to Vic Manuel's future in the PBA.

Looks like we are too focus now on the Manuel issue and forget that there are also big news (trade) that could happen soon hehehe.

Spiderman is going out on his web, have you heard of that?
That's an explosive roster for Phoenix, right? what could be the reaction of the Phoenix management after finding out that they're part of the list Manuel wants to be in?
As long as there's not that much news for the other teams or players, we can keep on discussing about since he's part of the league and this thread is all about the league.  Grin
8987  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade after all time high on: January 12, 2021, 10:18:15 PM
I would always wait for a pull back.  Bounces from the pullbacks have been very swift and fast.
That is the only way I would enter.
It is necessary whenever we see an all time high. A dip will come for sure and then a pull back will come. That's a good strategy of yours if you usually do that.
Determining if it's the peak and knowing when it's about to pull back lies on how you see and understand the market every all time high.
8988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: invest into alt coins after every all time high? on: January 12, 2021, 09:47:12 PM
I invested into some alt coins after it hit 40k. I am somewhat at a lost. but yeh I sold btc for alt coins. sounds like a good idea?
It is not a good idea to sell your bitcoin for altcoins. What you just did for me is a mistake. You shouldn't have done that and you kept bitcoin first and invest in altcoins with another set of money or capital.

so when another all time hits sell for alt coins. by that time i will have a bunch of alts lol. I have a lot now. but nothing serious. enough to be a coiner lol.
It's not about how many altcoins you have but it's about how valuable the altcoins you hold.

8990  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Play Smarter 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: January 12, 2021, 04:05:21 PM
For Ethereum the withdrawal fee is currently $ 9-10 on stake.com for that in the future do not deposit/withdraw using BTC/ETH it's better to use TRX or Dogecoin
This is stake.com advantage as it offers a wide variety of cryptos.
Ethereum withdrawals are that expensive these days and stake is depending on the reaction of the network. Your suggestion is right using other altcoins that seem to be cheap in the fees.

Where did you find this? It is great to hear, but communication could have been better for this promotion...
Maybe it's just between him and stake rep.

8992  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin correction thread. on: January 12, 2021, 11:25:20 AM
8993  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 12, 2021, 09:34:21 AM
Tanungin mo yung nagpa cash in sayo kung talagang wala pa.
8994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell my bitcoin from 2010 on: January 11, 2021, 11:45:56 PM
Congratulations if that's for real. But if you just made an account to discuss it, I don't think that's possible if you plan to dump all of it at once.
You can dump that in several batches but I don't know how long it will take you to dump all of it. And if that's that you "remember" it, do you still have it?
8995  Economy / Speculation / Re: You saw the BTC price WOULD YOU BUY!?............ on: January 11, 2021, 10:57:39 PM
It is not a good choice to buy at the top. Just like when it had reached $42k, many FOMOed and did the wrong decision of thinking that they have to buy because it will continue going up. There will be another time that it will break that price and just like now, the price is low.
This should be the price to start deciding whether you'll buy or not. But if I'm the one to decide and I have money ready to invest in bitcoin, I'll do it.
8996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is being discussed on CNN just now on: January 11, 2021, 10:25:15 PM
It is on different news mainstream media. They're all making discussions about it and with the UK's FCA's words, they can't stop taking it on their screen time and start discussing it.
My thought on it is that there could be a bigger whale that's interested to get in and buying all of those discounted bitcoins today.
8997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The price of Bitcoin broke $40,000 for the first time. on: January 11, 2021, 09:54:58 PM
in my opinion btc will drop under 30k. and reach a plateau for a while. then it will pump to 50k in short term.
It can drop under $30k but I don't think that it will drop further under its support. We've got enough to see the plummet and it's entirely in the mainstream media when it's dropping, they're quick to publish articles that bring fear and panic to their readers. They are mainstream media and it moves the weak hands to start selling. The plummet that it did within 24 hours is already enough for us to see the rise of it to $50k. But we might see the same cycle that it did today when it hits $40k-$49k.
8998  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wait for the dump on: January 11, 2021, 09:22:36 PM
Bitcoin is dumping!! Is this going to a repeat of 2017? Remember what happened in March when covid hit? The second wave is here and btc has been pumping despite that.
Too far from repeating 2017. The lowest was $32,000 and that's still another ATH.

What do you guys think? $100k still happening this year?
I'll give it time for that price to happen and will wait if that's possible for this year. The only thing that we can do today is to hold while waiting for it to break again those price barriers in $43k and onwards.
8999  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: S&P500 Vs US Dollar Index = Buy Bitcoin on: January 11, 2021, 01:04:05 PM
The necessity for store-of-value hedging (into Bitcoin as well as gold/silver) can be seen in this chart.

I just noticed it this morning, and is really interesting given everything that is going on.

If it continues, there will be a bottleneck for store-of-value assets as the US Dollar index approaches the 2018 low!!
Nowadays, bitcoin is already considered as a store of value. And with all of those suggestions that have been in the mainstream media publishing those words by known bullish and supporters of bitcoin, people are starting to have an idea.

I wasn't sure how to post images in here, so take a look at the twitter post for explanation https://twitter.com/MoneyProtestant/status/1348455840324337664

9000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie out with the market on: January 11, 2021, 11:13:22 AM
Yo guys & girls,

I want to invest in some coins but want to learn the best way to do this.
Now ofcourse we all know the saying buy low sell high but how do I know when its low when its always going up like its doing now.
Also somebody once told me that you have to look to the marketcap of a coin to see if the coin is worth throwing money at.
Could somebody just give me some basic rules or tips what to look for and what to do and what not.

Thankyou in advance.

If there already excists a topic like this please let me know so I can check that one out.

Greetings,

Terro12

Hi Terro,
The basic tip that I can give you to know when it's low is to look for the chart of that coin you want to buy. It is easy to say that it's been down if the line is on the down curve. You can easily say that it's been down after it came from a pump. If you have analyzed that it's already down, take your time to decide to buy it. The color indication is also a basic tip to look at if it's bleeding for a day or two or even a week, sometimes it happens.
