901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment or free? on: November 18, 2018, 11:18:48 PM
I see the crypto market growing more and more with the appearance of more and more coin and projects. Every day there are dozens to hundreds of new projects being established. Most of them aim to call for investment to develop the project but besides that many projects do not call for capital but only distribute their token free through Airdrop programs and bounty. This leads to competition and attracts different users. Do you think free or investment projects will last longer?
Either free or not, not everyone of them is genuine. There are so many coins that look free and are just waste of time. Sometimes, some of the coins that we see as being free are just stipends, compared to what the developer himself is holding.
This is one of the things that has discouraged me from participating in airdrop. Bounty sometimes is better, but it is not free, because you have to work, invest your time, money and effort.
902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO discussion on: November 18, 2018, 11:16:28 PM
I see ICO appear around 30 in 1 day, but I see no promising projects yet
They like to see ICO where to raise money, whereas ICO has a heavy responsibility.
I am very concerned about this condition
Are you sure you have been able to do your research well, to conclude that out of the whole 39 that came in a day, there is none that is genuine. Although it can be possible, but that is difficult to conclude, which is why it will be good you consult others and get what their opinion is.
903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I invest like around 600 USD in to Ethereum, Is it a good investment? on: November 18, 2018, 11:13:40 PM
Hello everyone. I want to invest some money. I have saved around 600 USD. Now I want to invest in.
Ethereum looks like that, it will be a good place to invest some money. What do you think? If I invest my 600 USD into Ethereum, can I able to make some profit? Or there is a possibility that, I might lose everything? Please advice and suggest me.
It is very much good and enough. Although, you have to ensure that the $600 is what you are can afford to lose even if anything happens that will warrant you losing it. Then ensure you invest at the right time, even if you are going to wait until ETH or any coin you choose to invest in plummets.
904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 18, 2018, 11:10:23 PM

I am newbie and some of my friends who are already into crypto market say I am late. This isn't the time to start investments and I must refrain and just research for later.

Do you think the same? Is it really not the time to invest as a beginner?
Having the privilege to know about this is a good thing. You are not late, but you can also justify you coming in when you are ready to give yourself to learning. When you learn fast and wisely apply what you have learnt, you might even be better of than someone that has been into it for a long time. So make good amd judicious use of your time and you will be glad you did.
905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not give up, you can still make it on: November 17, 2018, 11:44:10 PM
an accumulated work done can bring about accumulated reward.
This is my first time of seeing a quote like this and my opinion is this is part of what we need to succeed in the crypto space, most especially as bounty hunters. We sometimes feel discouraged and unable to do anything. We might seem to be left with no other option, than to quit, but that is not the solution.
Sometimes, it is just good to keep doing what we have been doing, because it will pay off one day.
906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: November 17, 2018, 11:39:43 PM
I do not think we have had too many ICOs, because more are still coming. I can only say we have so many. Some have succeeded, while some have failed. This same trend will continue to happen. The reason is that, some of them have good plans when it comes to adding value to the cryptocurrency ecosystem, while some are just here to scam other. So we need to be careful while investing.
907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet? on: November 17, 2018, 11:35:45 PM
Hi everyone, I found a service announcement of new wallet platform few days ago in our forum.
Their introduction and vision stated in the post seems to be great and it also attracts me a lot.
However, I still wonder whether I can trust that new wallet.
Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet or they can never stole any coin because they just provide wallet service only?

Please help me if you have experience in this field. Thank you.
This is the link to the wallet that I mentioned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4582763.msg41338130#msg41338130
I do not think there is anything wrong with the present wallet you are using. So if nothing is wrong with it, continue using it. Going for something new, that you have not seen anyone you know one on one used successfully, might be dangerous, because you never can tell what can happen.
So use what you have, except you have fully confirmed the genuineness of that.
908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happens to market ? on: November 17, 2018, 11:20:28 PM
Market is getting down not only #Bitcoin but also Ethereum, Dashcoin and others. What is your idea about market?

How long time will this take to survive ?
I do not think anyone can actually tell when those coins or even the general market would rise again. I just feel we should not worry ourselves and just study how things are done, so as to help one to think on what to do and make the right decision.
I am of the opinion that the market not might rise this year, perhaps next year, which is 2019, but any thing good can still happen this year
909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: November 17, 2018, 11:13:10 PM
Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!
The last time i bought coins from top 100 altcoins was last year. Ever since i have discovered means of making good and meaningful profits from those that are not even top 100, i started investing into them. Even till now, they tend to give me more profits than those that so many people tend to focus on. Although, you have to be very careful while investing such, because some are just shitcoins.
910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN DROPS TO $5,600. HOLD OR SELL? on: November 15, 2018, 03:22:04 PM
As at yesterday, we all saw the value of Bitcoin depreciate to $5,600. what is your advise to BTC holders

should we sell of in order not to incur more loss?

or should we HODL with hope that the bull run is coming soon enough?
You will only sell if your hand is so weak to hold, because what I am seeing is manipulation. They whales are ready to risk anything in order to manipulate the market andi am very sure they will pump it again. So why are you in haste to sell. As a matter of fact, i am ready to buy at this present price, then sell when it pumps in order for me to take my my profit. We have to play smart.
911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hard dump=hard bounce? on: November 15, 2018, 03:17:09 PM
This is not the right time to draw conclusion, because anything might happen after wards. Cryptocurrency is volatile, just as we have seen it fall so easily, so also can it rise easily, yet i would say we can hardly tell what will happen next.
At a point after which my attention was called to the fall by a friend a mine, i was now wondering what the cause could be, but i am not perturbed, because i understand what i am into.
912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We can’t trust anyone! on: November 15, 2018, 03:11:28 PM
Hey guys. Remember, in crypto sphere we can’t trust anyone! ICO rating sites are lying to us, you have to do YOUR OWN RESEARCH always! Remember this, and don’t let yourself be scammed!
One of the safest wallets for this purpose is ledger Nano S. It is an hardware wallet,so inasmuch as it is with your, your assets are safe. Although i make use of Coinomi which is a software and yet my assets are safe and i have never experienced any for of hack.
Hardware wallet is the the safest and for me, I think it is cheap and affordable, compared to risking your assets to any form of hack.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to learn day trading? on: November 15, 2018, 02:55:59 PM
I am tired of HODLing game and want to learn day trading. How to learn day trading and is there any free content available?
Holding to me is not a game compared to trading. I see trading more like a game, although, you would have done some analysis before venturing into it. It is even safer and easier to hodl than to trade. If you cannot hold successfully, how then do you intend to trade successfully?
It is not necessary for you to hold for long term. You can do short term holding and sell at the right time.
914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in crypto? on: November 14, 2018, 09:46:30 PM
Hey guys, I wanna ask you a simple question. Do you still believe in crypto? Do you think it will strike back and we all will be rich? Why?
No matter what happens, that will not make me to have disbelieve over cryptocurrency. Crypto has really been a great technology to me and it has helped me in so many areas of my life. Despite having a job, cryptocurrency being another stream of income for me. I am glad to say that most of what i have been able to do or achieve. all these while, came as a result of my involvement in crypto.
915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: November 14, 2018, 09:41:08 PM
Icos look for bounty hunters to promote their project through the power of social media.Sometimes, some of these hunters also double as ico investors. But it looks like bounty hunters understand ICOs project and are able to determine very good projects before they invest because of their experiences in different projects.
Directly or indirectly, bounty hunters are also investors. We all have different ways through which we invest.
Some invest money, for some time, resources and so on. So, you should see yourself too as an investor.
I have also noticed that some people, despite being bounty hunters, still invest their money on the project they believe in.
916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is keeping your hands out from the current market situation saves your profit? on: November 14, 2018, 09:36:48 PM
Right now, the current market situation is very frustrating. Most of the coins especially the good ones are turning red. Almost all of the coins and tokens are still bleeding hard. Is it safe not to do trades, and investment as of this moment to ensure that no possible loss coming?
Keeping your hands or running away from ethereum, does not still mean you will not have a bleeding portfolio. As far as i am concerned, i still see and classify Ethereum as one of the best coins to invest in.
Only astute traders can make good profit when the market is in a situation like this. Which is why some people will start running away from trading and would prefer other aspects of earning, if it would be profitable.
917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: November 11, 2018, 11:03:39 PM
I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.
There is nothing wrong in it, it is just part of promotional strategies. Whoever want to invest in such just need to do proper research on such project not minding the endorsement, because that is just meant to attract?
I have come across quite a number of projects endorsed by celebrities and some of them are still good projects with good foresight and might succeed even if not endorsed.
918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The End of Anonymity and the Start of Tax Hell for Crypto on: November 11, 2018, 10:59:35 PM
Angry Angry Sad Governments are dreaming of removing anonymity from Crypto. They see Crypto as a taxable goldmine and they want to cash in.

Any thoughts? Check the post on Medium on the topic.
https://medium.com/tabularasa/the-end-of-anonymity-and-the-start-of-tax-hell-for-crypto-38de53cb04c6?source=friends_link&sk=98093ecd7ca8c2753047cbc656c73936 (link below bypasses the Medium paywall)

Any thoughts?

Apart from exchanges, where we give our personally details, projects, most especially ICO and STOs and so on, are gradually making things look more centralized. So i think the governments are achieving their aim and objectives.
We are in a time where cryptocurrency that ought to be private is no longer private.   Altmost everything we want to do now involves giving out personal data.
919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will altcoins ever recover their value? on: November 11, 2018, 10:56:18 PM
What's the general feeling about some of the altcoins that have dropped in value considerably such as TRON, district0x, Cardano and SiberianChervonets.
I've been HODLing these for a while hoping they will recover but their value seems to be getting even lower. With new coins being launched daily, is it likely that these will ever recover?
I can only talk of good altcoins being able to recover and nit just shit coins. It is always hard for shitcoins to return back to their precious price. Except it is manipulated by pumping, which would dump any time soon again.
920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns? on: November 11, 2018, 10:53:25 PM
How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns?

Is it worth doing bounty campaigns?

How much can you make from one bounty campaigns?

Since i only engage in bounty during my leisure, i am not always conscious of the time i spend on it. Although, with a rough estimate, i would say i spend 2 hours on daily basis, which might sometimes vary.
