902  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin sportsbook with high odds, not ads on: July 27, 2017, 08:37:53 AM
Betballer has the same odds than BetCoin.ag?

Are they related in any way or is it just that they use the same provider and take the same cut?

Since BetCoin.ag is not trusted according to my book, I am really interested in knowing if they have the same owners.
Might be both of them are using same bookie and taking same cut. I haven't made any bets on betballer or betcoin till now but yes betcoin.ag have scam accusation against them so its better not to play there. Don't have idea about betballer because I am only using nitrogensports after shut down of directbet and found them really good for sports betting.

doesn't seem like they're going to remove the neg trust... we might have to give em some positive trust?

I've played here a bit with no issues in withdrawals.
Actually duckdice have got those negative trust from DT members and not from normal users like us so giving positive trust to duckdice will not change anything. However after going through scam accusation against duckdice today I found that duckdice have refunded some part of money to the one who have created that accusation but they haven't paid many others who got that issue in past. So I don't think DT members will remove those negative trust.
904  Economy / Gambling / Re: Messed up at Fairlay - deposited less than the minimum on: July 27, 2017, 08:28:46 AM
By creating a new thread you will not get back your balance. Also, you're on fault side now because if you don't read terms fully then it is not their fault. So if you want a deposit back then you should request them directly by explaining your mistake. They may or may not return your funds but you can try your luck.
I think fairlay will not put their reputation on stake by not giving OP back his bitcoin or atleast ask him to deposit more to make it more than minimum deposit amount. I haven't deposited anything there so don't know where they have this message regarding minimum deposit, anyway your deposits will be ignored if it will be less than 5 mBtc doesn't sound professional.
905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits from Gambling on: July 26, 2017, 06:57:06 PM
- Naturally when we are teenage we don't care much about money because our parents will cover all of our expenses and spendings.
- Maturity comes with age and when we get out of our teenage age we will start to think about our future and we have to earn ourself to support our expenses which make us to value whatever money we will have in hand

- To become calm we can do many other things rather than getting addicted towards card games.

So I don't think you got any benefit from gambling till now.  Wink
906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gift For Kid on: July 26, 2017, 06:52:43 PM
Might be the company which have produced this isn't registered anywhere and local law enforcement might not care about such materials which are being sold openly in local stores.

Personally, I don't think this should be allowed to any kids and obviously nobody like to make their kid a addicted gambler in future.

Hey,

Yeah. We aware of that expected decision. We are not located in US and will not provide our services or tokens to US residents.

Regards,
Alex.
Good decision you guys have made on this, USA is always strict about money laundering and investments. US government is just a tax sucker but how you gonna restrict those US citizens who will just use VPN to access ICO page and invest their ETH?

Those who lost bitcoins on this site just because of their own faults should not blame site for this.
It looks like the one who have lost bitcoin due to confusion he had with the bonus terms of duckdice have created scam accusation against duckdice, when that will settle down duckdice might gain their trust back. But for me duckdice is trusted because I don't claim any types of bonus in dice sites so whatever terms they have about bonus will not effect me.

(However, I haven't gone deeply through that scam accusation against duckdice)
909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Build a dice game with me on: July 26, 2017, 03:18:41 PM
Can somebody give me a good idea of how much it would cost to create a dice game on my website?
I think it will cost above $10k to build a casino with inbuilt dice and many other games using third party casino software but this might not be enough to run your casino because you will require more than that amount as bankroll to payout users.

Its better to buy some running dice site or casino rather than going through all process of development, marketing and fixing bugs.
910  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 25, 2017, 06:08:38 PM
Beating house edge is very tough, but people will come back with different strategies to beat house edge in that some people will get success and some people will again lose money. And not all gambler play gambling to have just fun. Most of the people come back to make money. Those who ready to lose money for fun they will look only fun in games. Others look only money in games.
Beating house edge? No any strategy will work against house edge because it is there to ensure pure profit for casino.

Most of the people who will deposit to gamble are just the ones who want to get rich quickly with gambling which is completely bullshit. The one who want fun out of gambling will just play with what they can get with faucet for free or play money most of the casino have.

Greed could be the only reason behind all gamblers who come back and make new deposits to get back what they have lost before.
911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: July 25, 2017, 06:03:35 PM
My personal experience with trading is not so good but some people are expert in this, so that is why I think trading is more like to gamble, recently I picked a altcoin on very high price but dramatically it went 5x other day.
You are lucky with that altcoin then because usually the coins you will buy at peak price will dump hard next day  Grin

Yes trading is far better than simply gambling and for noobs trading is more like a gambling like you have did by buying one altcoin at high price.
912  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin dice sites with lowest house edge in 2017 on: July 25, 2017, 05:59:45 PM
To play Dice game the house edge is matter, which is having low house edge there we will have some chance to make money. But if you go for a long run all sites will give you same result that is profit for casino owners and loss for players. So don't look for house edge just see which site is good and safe to play dice game. I will prefer to play Dice game in Bitsler and FJ.
Yes you are correct but there are lots of example where users have made good profit out of dice sites but they are the one who know when to withdraw out from site.

Obviously both sites you have mentioned are trusted and I am also playing in one of those site regularly.
913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ~~~New ~~~ OddEvenBets.com [Litecoin] - House edge 1%, Provably fair on: July 21, 2017, 07:50:02 AM
- Add SSL certificate first
- It looks like whole site's front end and back end is coded in php which will not allow you to have interactive user interface. Hire someone to have good front page with html and javascript.

- Also apart from LTC you should add another page for bitcoin bets.

- If you don't want to accept bitcoin right now directly than you can use shapeshift api to allow betting with any coins users want.
914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: July 21, 2017, 07:38:49 AM
For those that buy bitcoin last week when the price fell and was dump to $1,785 can now take profit
The one who will sell bitcoin under $3000 right now will regret later just like the one who have sold under $2000 few days ago. After segwit price might see good surge because it will solve the long debated block size issue. Most of the miners are supporting segwit so there is no chance of network split or any other chaos.
915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC grow or less on: July 21, 2017, 06:45:57 AM
If everything works as claimed after activation of segwit = price will go to moon
But if network splits which is quite unlikely than we might see some dump.

No-one can precisely predict the price movement specially during situation like right now.
916  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Livecoin.net reviews on: July 21, 2017, 06:44:04 AM
I have used them before to just trade few of the ETH based tokens when those coins are listed only in livecoin. I haven't got any issue at that time but I am not using them right now so don't know they are still  working as perfect as before or not. You can try by buying small amount of bitcoin first before buying 1 bitcoin from them.
917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is segwit really necessary? on: July 21, 2017, 06:40:51 AM
Segwit is first step for activation of lightening network in future. LN is what we need to make instant bitcoin (off-chain transactions) so that we can pay for coffee or soda instantly and we might not have to wait for more than few seconds to get that transaction confirmed. Segwit is just a soft fork so there is nothing actually to panic about.
918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Will you use LN? on: July 21, 2017, 05:52:57 AM
For me it is like wait and watch situation right now. I will wait till the actual activation of segwit and possibility to use LN before making any opinion about it. What LN can do is quite interesting and if everything works as claimed I will do off chain transactions too with LN.
919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIP 91 activation is scheduled to take place in: 350 Blocks on: July 21, 2017, 05:47:33 AM
so this is news behind BTC jump?
Probably, this have increased confidence among bitcoin traders. Possibility of network split during segwit activation is really thin now because most of the mining pool have started to strongly support segwit2x.
920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it worth using bitcoins anymore for gambling ? on: July 21, 2017, 04:43:48 AM
If you don't want to get affected by price volatility than you can store all your bitcoin in USDT when you don't gamble or bet and just move those USDT to BTC when you need it. 1 USDT price tends to remain 1 USD all time so you don't have to worry about losing anything in fiat value during huge price move.
