9081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: July 27, 2017, 01:46:35 PM
It's possible but far from reality. Paypal has already established its name as the leading online payment system. Every one talks about Paypal. It becomes a household term but remember that Bitcoin is catching up. Everyone, these days, is starting to talk about Bitcoin. What is bitcoin? How does it work? How to invest in bitcoin? All these questions can act as a vessel to drive bitcoin to the right direction. Just not sure if it's enough to overtake Paypal. Never underestimate a brand that rules the world.

That is certainly true, mate. PayPal has been in the financial sector way before Bitcoin, so it has a major trust and reputation from businesses and individuals alike due to its long term standing as a solid payments processor.

However, I believe that at some point in the future, Bitcoin will become more popular than PayPal, as it matures over time, and delivers benefits that supersedes the ones from PayPal. With lower fees, and greater transaction throughput (once it scales), the pioneer cryptocurrency will make strides and become the top choice for e-commerce.

It should only be a matter of time before PayPal adopts the blockchain, or it gets left behind as it will be a thing of the past. Just my thoughts Grin
9082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: July 27, 2017, 01:36:43 PM
Cloak is a very good project with an innovative technology of anonymity and with 6% interest! Roll Eyes

Bitsend, as has been said! 80% remuneration for masternodes is unique in the universe of crypto currencies. Shocked

Never thought that these PoS coins would have intereresting rates. Especially, Bitsend which has a unique renumeration for masternodes making it quite profitable to invest into for the long term.

As for CLOAK, it has huge potential for its price to increase over the long term. Being an anon coin, with unique privacy features, along with PoS, makes it ideal for buying and holding over time to help secure your profits along the way.

Things aside, another great PoS coin would be BitBean as it is inexpensive and you get to start earning from your stakes in a short amount of time. Best of all, it has a 20mb block size (unlike many PoS coins) making it an ultra fast cryptocurrency capable of handling large transaction load. Definitely worth an investment for the long term too. Just my opinion Smiley
9083  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 27, 2017, 01:30:52 PM
Your point is right I agree that all are not educated and if the government implement this cashless method, they will suffer a lot. I have one point if we not implement now then it will never implement because in all generation we will see an uneducated people. If you wait for right time to implement that time will never come. So my suggestion is first to implement and when people will suffer to do a transaction they only learn how to do the cashless transaction. If you do not make strict rule, then we will never see cashless society.

Agree. We would need to implement this with the use of cryptocurrencies to educate as much people as possible, to help advance a cashless society in the future. Without proper education, people won't be aware of how cashless transaction works, and perhaps we may not experience a society that would become free of physical fiat currencies because of this matter.

But, as governments and banks work on exploring the blockchain, a cashless society may be prone to come in a couple of years from now. It may take quite some time as there are several regions of the world where there is no internet access, but I believe that a solution would come up for this to help a cashless society become a reality. Just my thoughts Grin

bitcoin is cashless and the world will adopt it , keep your bank notes they will be rares in few years to come.

Agree. As Bitcoin's popularity is rising, it will become used in the mainstream world and a lot of people will adopt it. At some point in the future, there may only exist cryptocurrencies alongside with digital fiat currencies. So physical banknotes will become a thing of the past, and perhaps those who hold onto them now, might benefit in the future as they become a rare and valuable commodity. Smiley
9084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: July 27, 2017, 01:24:32 PM
Doge is a legendary coin that still survives up to now, he does not change his name as it does by stellar/lumen, I think doge was created not to fly high/skyrocket, but still can be enjoyed by the crypto community. I imagine if 1 doge is able to reach $1, though it is not possible but it will be a terrible thing.

Yeah. Given its huge supply and inflationary rates, the Dogecoin was not meant to be a cryptocurrency that would skyrocket in price over the course of time. In fact, it serves more as a tipping and micropayments tool with its inexpensive price and fast speeds.

Above all, Dogecoin has many great uses that will help maintain its place in crypto land for many years to come. It started out as a joke, but now it is seen as a serious coin that could be put to great use in sending money to anyone in the world at near zero cost.

A price of $1 for each DOGE seems too far from becoming a reality, but since crypto land is full of uncertainities, you'll never know when it gets massively pumped, earning you profits along the way. I'm confident that Dogecoin is here to stay for the long term. Just my opinion. Smiley
9085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: July 27, 2017, 01:16:21 PM
I first learned about bitcoin when my brother told me that he is working online and that he is accepting btc in return for posting in forums. And later on I gave it a try. I started with signature campaigns too. I also tried earning satoshis from captchas and ads viewing but later on stopped because it is very time consuming and the income is really low. So I just focused on campaigns here in bitcointalk. And I'm learning more about btc while earning.

Thanks for sharing your experiences, mate. I guess that most of us, started with signature campaigns to learn more about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, while getting paid in return. It is the best way to earn a decent amount of Bitcoin, in contrast to faucets which just pay you pennies for a couple of hours.

By staying in a signature campaign, you will be able to greatly expand your knowledge with everything about cryptocurrencies, and use that to help others who are new into the field. It encourages you to explore the forums, and learn new stuff as you get paid by posting.

While it may never replace a real job, you can put those earnings to good use by investing them into mining, staking, or even Gold to start building your way towards financial freedom. There is no such thing as getting rich quick in crypto land, but if you persevere, you'll be able to make a solid foundation for your economical future. Just sharing my thoughts Grin
9086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: July 26, 2017, 01:45:06 PM
Link?

You're talking about braintree which is old news:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/paypal-and-coinbase-strike-new-bitcoin-payout-agreement-millions-of-customers-affected

So if paypal is adopting bitcoin means that bitcoin has overcome paypal?
It like saying biodiesel has overcome Chevron.

Yeah. Despite the similarities between PayPal and Bitcoin for money transfers, they're different one from another. It's like comparing oranges with apples. But, rest assured that the more traction Bitcoin gets, the more attractive it will become for merchants and individuals to get ahold of its benefits.

Eventually, both Bitcoin and PayPal will co-exist, as they have their advantages and flaws. Whenever you need to get access to fiat currencies, there is PayPal, and whenever you want to grow your investment for the long term and achieve financial freedom, there is Bitcoin.

It is up to you to choose which of these payment processors suits your needs to help you maintain a steady financial life. Just my thoughts Grin
9087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: July 26, 2017, 01:40:29 PM
Well, Dogecoin has been here since 2014, right? One of the earliest and still here, alive and kicking. And is still used, mined, traded, by many. Although the price is really low, very cheap coin (last time I checked that's 70 satoshis), that is what it has to be in huge volumes when traded. As what has been stated in the first post, really good for tipping and similar activities. I hope this will stay but get stronger soon.

You're certainly correct, mate. Dogecoin has managed to survive ever since its inception in 2014. Despite the critics that DOGE has faced, it has managed to become stronger because there is a huge fan base and community around supporting it every step of the way.

As for prices, I don't care much about them as Dogecoin will always be a usable and indispensable cryptocurrency in my eyes. Since it was designed for micropayments and tipping, it is not meant to be used as a store of value.

Therefore, the lower the price gets, the better it will be as it becomes cheaper to use and send money to anyone in the world. When you compare it to Bitcoin, it is a lot faster and has extremely cheap fees. That is an advantage for Dogecoin, that will allow it to expand for many years to come. Just my opinion Smiley
9088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: July 26, 2017, 01:34:10 PM
This is very unlikely. If this technology achieves this level of success, it will be only a matter of time before someone implements it in a Bitcoin sidechain.

Yeah. Since Zcash is just a clone from Bitcoin, with the addition of Zero Knowledge Proofs, it can easily be ported into the pioneer cryptocurrency itself. So, implementing it into a sidechain would be ideal to reduce load from the main net.

When this becomes achieved, people will use Bitcoin more than ZCash, due to the privacy features, as well as being the top cryptocurrency in market cap.

Nevertheless, anything is possible in crypto land, and it should only be a matter of time before ZEC remains as the top Zero Knowledge proof cryptocurrency, or another one takes the lead.

We were just talking in a thread to promise that the cash was going to $1,000, LOL. Zcash is garbage it always was garbage and it's always going to be garbage the development team has nothing has no coding experience and all they did was clone a coin flip a few numbers in it changed a little bit in the coding and then put it out there like it's some kind of new special thing. If garbage is new well then I guess it is new.

You do have a point there, mate. ZCash is basically Bitcoin with a few tweaks such as ZK-SNARKs and founder's reward. Given that it has the same codebase as the pioneer cryptocurrency, its features can become easily implemented into Bitcoin itself.

If Bitcoin adopts this technology, then ZEC may lose its value since people would prefer to use the top and most popular cryptocurrency to secure their transactions. Add to this the upcoming smart contracts feature for Bitcoin provided by Rootstock, and the pioneer cryptocurrency will become the biggest blockchain ecosystem in the world.

With this in mind, ZEC would have a hard time to reach its original price levels, unless something new and exciting comes up for it. Just my thoughts Grin
9089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: July 25, 2017, 01:43:18 PM
Any crypto currency world anything is possible. May be at one moment we thought  one coin will survive and the next moment our thoughts changed. Every one has different opinion about survival of altcoin. I might be wrong but in my opinion ETH and LTC will survive in future.

Agree. In crypto land, anything is possible from shitcoins rising to the top, to the most prominent coins falling down massively in value. It would be up to you to choose a coin which you believe it may survive in the long term, by taking your due diligence to research about its underlying development team and future proposals that will make it grow for many years to come.

As for me, I believe that good old coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, and even Dogecoin will survive in the future as they have a dedicated development team, a supportive community, and network strength with their established nodes and miners. With all the recent uptrend in price that Bitcoin and other altcoins have been experiencing, crypto is here to stay and evolve for the long term.

Perhaps, someday in the future we will be able to see the most prominent cryptocurrencies become used in the mainstream world, from major merchants and businesses alike joining the blockchain economy. Imagine, being able to buy something at almost any physical store around the world with your Bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency. Only time will tell if this will happen in the future. Just my opinion Smiley
9090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: July 25, 2017, 01:38:14 PM
I just got staking 1337 until now because my friend told me to do so. And now he earned a lot of btc because he sold some of his 1337. Now im thinking to add some coins to add in my list that worth investing for.

1337 is a good cryptocurrency with attractive staking rates. I'm glad to see that your friend has obtained great results with it, as it looks to be a very profitable coin.

Imagine if you would be able to double or triple your Bitcoins with it in a year. It would certainly be one of the most favorite PoS cryptocurrencies among crypto enthusiasts like me.

I know that you won't get rick quick with this, but it may be worth taking a shot at it.

By the way, another good PoS coin to invest into would be NEM, especially with its delegated harvesting feature which allows you to "stake" your coins without opening your wallet. Also, BitBean is another great coin to stake, with a huge block size of 20mb making it faster and more capable to handle large transaction load unlike Bitcoin. Just my thoughts Grin

I think that NETKO is with one of biggest potential in POS universum.
For now is cheap, annual 50%, almost no one heard about it, easy to go in top 10 rich list.
Price is very stable, and in constant rise.

Thanks for sharing this PoS coin, mate. It has quite an attractive price and stake rate, making it a huge opportunity for anyone to join in and secure their profits in the future.

If it becomes very popular, it may skyrocket in price so I will give it a try to see how much BTC I would make with it. Smiley
9091  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 25, 2017, 01:33:38 PM
yes that is right that investment is more profitable than saving, through saving you can only save your money for a long of time and it is possible that after lot of time its value will decrease, while through investment you can increase the amount of money you have. but for investment you also need to know about the right time because if you do not know when to invest your money then you are in fact taking risk.

Agree. Every investment has a risk, but that risk may turn out to become very rewarding if successful in the future. If you decide to only save your money, you won't be able to expand your capital for the long term. With investing, you can make your money grow, to ensure a stable financial life for years to come.

Therefore, if you combine both saving and investing, you'll be building your way towards becoming a wealthy person, by following the right steps and strategies that will make your money grow, instead of diminishing it.

With Bitcoin, you can both save and invest your money into it for the long term to preserve your capital. Its increasing price, and limited supply, makes it ideal for any investment, helping you make your money grow for years to come. Just my opinion Smiley
9092  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: July 25, 2017, 01:27:59 PM
Being popular doesn't mean it will be a good currency that will be used by the world, you must also think what can these digital currency do in a country if that happens.

I agree bitcoin having a great potential on being a world currency, but replacing dollars is way too far, 15 years is not enough, also even if bitcoin  has a a good price in the future, it is still not enough. It has a great volatility that will affect a country's economy. Also, you can't expect that all people will be supporting or using bitcoin and many other digital currency.

That is certainly true, mate. Not even with all the strides that Bitcoin has been making over the course of the year, will make everyone from around the world to use it. With its instability in price, it's good for profiting and investing, but not ideal to serve its purpose as a serious currency, especially for a country which may limit its ability to prosper economically.

Therefore, Bitcoin needs more time to mature and become a solid cryptocurrency with a large user base. Even then, it won't be able to replace fiat currencies such as the dollar, since the latter is backed by a government and used as legal tender.

But, with all the trends that blockchain technology has experienced lately, you could expect to see digital fiat currencies issued by governments sometime in the future. Just my thoughts Grin
9093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 24, 2017, 02:06:10 PM
Always select those coins who are on the top of the marketcap they will give you a good long-term investment. Just carefully research those other alt-coins you wanted to buy and look for the trusted people who gives a good rep. There are too many promising alt-coins out there, but carefully choose those who have a good team and devs team with a hard working team.

Exactly. If you always choose the most prominent altcoins with constant development and innovation, then you will be able to secure your investments for the long term. In crypto land, you need to have patience and make your due diligence by researching any new coin that comes into it, to help avoid making mistakes in the future that may result in huge capital loss.

Thanks to the advent of Bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies have embraced its technology, adding new features that complement the whole ecosystem. There are many useful altcoins which are worth buying and holding for the long term, since they provide features that are not even seen within Bitcoin itself.

Thus, you could enjoy the good stuff from Bitcoin, while at the same time benefit from other altcoins innovations that will help improve our society for the better. As long as you diversify between the top altcoins in market cap, nothing should go wrong. Just my thoughts Grin
9094  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: July 24, 2017, 01:59:31 PM
Creating a cashless society is simply a hard task, because right now very few countries have got majority of the people with good educational base. To create an entire system function on cashless manner education or people to be with knowledge is a must. So this is possible in selected first world countries.

You do have a point there mate. The only countries that may have access to a cashless society, are developed ones leaving third world countries out of the equation. Also, not every region of the world has access to the internet, so it will make it even harder nowadays for a cashless society to come into effect.

However, all of this may change if a solution for a worldwide internet comes into place, like Satellites which deliver the signal for the masses to get access to the same. In addition, manufacturers may decide to create special edition budget smartphones or a similar device for third world countries, which would allow them to get access to a cashless society.

Therefore, the possibilities are endless and it would only become a matter of time before worldwide governments decide to implement this system to increase efficiency, security, and protect the environment. Just my opinion. Smiley
9095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: July 24, 2017, 01:54:16 PM
bitcoin is a digital currency and the scope for the users of bitcoin is very high there are a lot of opportunities in this form for all of the people. Bitcoin is the most used currency today and it is increasing more and more so! I guess the future of bitcoin is very bright

Agree. These are exciting times for Bitcoin, and I believe that it is only the beginning. There are still people around the world which are not aware of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Once they join in, demand will rise even more and its value will skyrocket along the way.

People are realizing that Bitcoin has a lot of opportunities to make profit, as well as, being a safe haven asset like Gold. With this in mind, Bitcoin is here to stay and will continue to grow for years to come, giving freedom and wealth for those who hold onto it for the long term.

With the upcoming SegWit2x solution, things will be very bright for Bitcoin in the future, if it becomes successful by August 1st. Just sharing my thoughts Grin
9096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CSC] ♠ CasinoCoin v3.0 ♥ 4+ Yrs Old ♦ Windows, OSX, Linux, Android ♣ on: July 24, 2017, 01:49:38 PM
Interesting mining activity going on right now. 800MH
Just a matter of time until new investors buy the cheap coins at nova and alcurex

I believe that exciting times will come ahead for CSC from now and beyond. The increased mining activity shows huge interest from miners into the coin, making possible to see a price rise in the future.

Right now, the value for each CSC is extremely cheap so it may prove to become attractive for new investors and traders, eventually resulting in a massive price increase the more demand it gets.

In addition to this, if the CSC team decides to make a swap for a new Casinocoin 2.0 powered by Ethereum smart contracts, it will become a major boost for the cryptocurrency in terms of popularity, usage, and awareness. Besides, if this becomes a reality, CSC would have the same security of the Ethereum network, while at the same time providing never before seen features that will increase its demand in the long term.

Imagine being able to play any type of gambling game in a decentralized fashion with Ethereum smart contracts, using the CSC token. It would truly be revolutionary, and I will continue to buy and hold CSC to secure my stake in the future. Just my opinion Smiley
9097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XMG] MAGI | CPU mining | mPoW | mPoS | [MagiPay] on: July 24, 2017, 01:44:21 PM
Imagine our great community, organizing poker tournement, playing with Abiky custom made chips, all rewards paid in XMG...wow, how great would that be? Smiley

That would be awesome! I like the idea, mate. It would definitely encourage anyone to play poker, while getting rewarded in Magi. With this in mind, Magi's awareness and popularity will increase the more people join in and spread the word about it.

That is my mission, and I hope to do all my best towards helping Magi grow for the long term. Smiley

I love poker and still hope some great pokersite will accept Magi (XMG) in the future!

I hope so too. A poker site that would accept Magi, will definitely increase its usability. It would be hours of fun, while at the same time you'll get paid in Magi if you win.

Also, it would be great if other sites in the gambling category would accept Magi. Playing dice, slots, or even blackjack with your Magi would be very interesting to see it become a reality sometime in the future. Just my thoughts Grin

9099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best books about blockchain technology? on: July 21, 2017, 02:27:19 PM

Thanks for sharing this, mate. It is a very good read, as it helps you understand Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In an academic perspective, it aims to teach you deeply almost everything about the highly evolving technology underlying cryptocurrencies called the blockchain.

With these video lectures, and the book itself, you'll be able to expand your knowledge with cryptocurrencies, or get started with them if you're new to the field. Therefore, I highly recommend this material for newbies, and experienced users alike.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward for new and exciting blockchain books to add into my library. They will not only help me become a master of the technology, but also help serve as great educational tools for others to learn something new. Smiley
9100  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: July 21, 2017, 02:18:33 PM
Your opinion is valuable and great too. I have the same thinking. Bitcoins are the cheapest and easiest way to earn with little investment. Sometimes bitcoins demand little patience and good control over emotions to have the desired earning. As far as the trading strategies are concerned, the most common and wise one is to buy bitcoins when prices are low and sell when the prices are pumping.

Couldn't agree more with you, mate. Bitcoin is by far, the best investment you'll ever make, as it continues to rise in value as time goes by. Therefore, if you choose to buy and hold some coins for today, you'll be able to secure your profits in the future the more scarce and valuable it becomes.

Patience is key here, as Bitcoin is highly volatile and it may take some time before it blossoms in price. But, if you persevere in it, you'll be able to expand your capital for the future.

If you take a look at Bitcoin's prices last weekend, you'll notice that it had a massive decline. Thus, if you would've bought some cheap coins at that time, today you would've been able to double your investment as prices have bounced back to their original levels.

That's the beauty of Bitcoin's volatility, which can become very rewarding if you manage to buy low and sell high. Just my opinion Smiley
