9141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Earn Ethereum ? on: March 02, 2017, 08:20:01 PM
There are only few faucets to Ethereum and i think their are no any active and paying once i ve checked more than 10 but they not paying or delaying,i supposed best way to earn Ethereum is exchange them to btc or mine Ethereum directly you can earn some btc with many ways  "faucets, ptc, micro works, signature and mostly trading alt coins, then exchange them for  Ethereum

I've seen about 5 nice faucets on ETH but the problem is that it will take in general 27 years to earn the sum you can withdraw, unfortunately. Unless you get really lucky, because the faucets work as a lottery where the amount you get depends on a random number. As for the signature campaigns.. I haven't seen those which pay in Ether. I thionk people are right that it is easier to earn btc and freely sell it for ether. That's what I did yesterday. I just bought 0.9998 eth for 0.0134 btc as an experiment.
9142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Chain of Points - Transforming Loyalty Into Rewards - ICO LIVE!!! on: March 02, 2017, 08:41:07 AM
Goodluck with your project dev
I think Chain of Points is great projects
I do think so. Look at what they have done with their advertising campaign. They have enough fund to start a good campaign. ICO will raise more coin for them. Chain of points will be as strong as qtum and other cryptocurrency. I really want to trade their coin now
Yes, they have the initial capital to start a signature campaign with high pay, and it does look one of the coins has a good potential and may be considered by investors. same as the previous of qtum. so I am quite sure with Chain of Points. even after they pay with bitcoin, I also want Chain of Points have paid with their coins
The campaign is awesome, I agree. The whole thing is quite complicated. I've watched the presentation and a small advertising video but I didn't fully understand what is the reward program. I see this is a platform helping customers and companies with different rewards like gift cards. And the platform has its own currency - point. So, it looks like something similar to ether but with a different purpose. Is that true?
9143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: March 02, 2017, 08:29:25 AM
After the Ethereum, there is not many altcoin worth buying. Most of the high profie new coins are just POS coins.
I can't disagree with this point. Among altcoins ethereum is at least not a clone of bitcoin but a very complicated system with lots of opportunities for good programmers. If it would be able to deal with all the security problems (because the code is too complicated), ethereum could have become as good as bitcoin and maybe even better. Litecoin is still not dead and it is very alike with bitcoin, so probably it will be able to stay on the stage as well.
9144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So what exactly has lead to the spike in ETH value? on: March 02, 2017, 08:16:30 AM
I think some developments have been made on several aspects.Ethereum has reached its highest price in 2017.It wil be a promising year for ethereum. Now we can hope more projects to come based on Ethereum platform.
Maybe it is just something that can't be explained. The thing which happened and is still happening to bitcoin, for instance. Just that the demand is high and thus the price grows. But maybe it is indeed connected with some 'upgrades' of the eth. A new version was released in November. Perhaps this made it more popular. Since eth doesn't have any halvings as far as I know, I can't think of any other explanations.
9145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: March 01, 2017, 07:03:39 PM
ETH is the best coin in my portfolio. It will bring me around 1200% profit if I will sell my holdings now.
How do you know the potential profit from a trade you're not even going to make? And why is ETH the best? Isn't bitcoin better anyway? And what about Monero? It is also quite stable and successful. I think we can only say that ETH is among the best altcoins. And it does have it's advantages like the programmable code and fast transactions, so it's more flexible than other currencies. And it is also not only the currency but a platform which can be used for many other things.
9146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Centurion: The Cryptocurrency for Beginners and Experts Alike on: March 01, 2017, 06:44:41 PM
I was analysing the dynamics of different currencies' prices and came to the conclusion that good ones are those which slowly go up, then have their up and downs like Bitcoin or Monero. Centurion had success at the beginning but looks like it's dying now. It is brand new, though. Maybe that's why my observations are not adequate in this specific case. The limited general amount is good but 250 Million is too much. And as the currency is new, there isn't much more information to analyze.
9147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Are You losing Interest ? on: March 01, 2017, 08:50:28 AM
With the rise of ICO popularity Altcoin scene became ridiculous.

At this point even if new altcoin project is really amazing, it's hard to notice. It will be overshadowed by 10 or 20 other less innovative projects with bigger marketing budget.

I lost my faith we will see any good altcoin, only bitcoin will survive (probably not as currency but more likely store value coin).
I disagree. I realize my argument is not very srtong but I'll say it anyway. 'One of the kind' is not something we have in our world. There are male, female, transgender people, young and old ones, plants and animals (plus people) etc. And in terms of currencies there are some strong ones like USD, EURO, GBP. I think that's why it doesn't make sense to suppose bitcoin will be the only one. Other strong cryptocurrencies have to appear on the market and they will.
9148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash worth to invest in it? on: March 01, 2017, 08:33:08 AM
No, it is not worth to invest now because the current price is a bit overvalued, it can be worth to be all in when the price is sub 0.01 btc. If you buy now, you will be dumped by Zcash dev team members and big miners.
That's what I thought when I looked at the price dynamics. Nevertheless, the max supply of z-cash is 21 million which means it has chances to become just what bitcoin is right now. However, the hidden transactions frighten me a bit and as far as I am posotive z-cash is a Russian alternative to btc, I don't trust it. Why do I think it's russian? Because there aren't many famous public groups on cryptocurrencies in the famous russian social network (vk.com) and there is such on z-cash.
9149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you consider investing in a bankroll? on: March 01, 2017, 08:15:06 AM
Investing in a bankroll with a new site and new user in Bitcointalk is kinda hard to do. At First it will be hard to get investors but there are many ways how to get trust from investors. What you need to do first is make your site known by many, Create events and escrow the prizes that way they will trust your events and many people will play your site and soon you'll get your investors.
Yes,its really very hard to trust for the very first time specially on newbie accounts which claim they do have gambling sites and we all know there are lots of new gambling sites turns out to be scam and when we are talking about trust its hard to build if the actions have been made arent justifiable.
That's why I would be good if you set a signature campaign with a trusted manager and set the minimum amount of investment quite low (0.01). If the site is really as different as you say it is from other sites, perhaps there is a chance yours will become popular. But in general I guess now isn't the best time to create a new casinos. There too many out there already. Perhaps it is better for you to invest the money into something like Crypto-Games. It is less risky, at least.
9150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How should a good gambling site be? on: March 01, 2017, 07:57:02 AM
Apart from provably fair, fast rolls and team support which  were already listed by other members of the forum, I think a plain design is very important. Sometimes a site looks attractive but it is too hard to understand where's the faucet, how to choose the bet amount etc. And nowadays I think some giveaways in chats as well as competitions provided by new casinos are required, because something has to make people stop gambling at the casinos they already now and go there.
9151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RIP Litecoin (sub 0.0025 incoming) on: February 28, 2017, 08:37:13 PM
you remember when they were saying that litecoin was officially dead, but then the halving arrived and they pumped to 0.01, now there is no halving but the price is the same, bitcoin is just dumped by miners, investors are holding until next increase, i'm confident
I agree with this. I've seen posts years ago about litecoin being dead. And yet look at casinos nowadays. Sometimes they have their own official coins but the famous altcoins are litecoin, dogecoin and monero. I think it means that none of these is dead and furthermore they are likely to grow in price. By the way, I've been thinking that the most famous casinos can actually influence alts' price in a great way, since if they offer some coins in their casinos, the interest (and thus the price) grows.
9152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: February 28, 2017, 08:22:20 PM
Many users have now made the decision to hold the coins because the price is going up and they are expecting to be even higher which is to my opinion good decision. At the moment it's not the time to sell but to hold the coins and to try to acumulate as much Bitcoins as we can if there is some good source of Bitcoins.
Yes but I believe there are people like me who sell bitcoin anytime the money is needed for something. For me everything above $800 is very nice an so when I require money to pay for rent. If I didn't need this money for life, I would keep the sum just like anybody else and when I finish  the university and get a full-time job I will keep it.
For me I plan to sell my bitcoin when price is $2000 because I believe bitcoin  continue rising and everyday when I see bitcoin price its very amazing because they increase $1-$10 thats my observation only. I think this coming march 2017 Bitcoin will become more popular in many country and those people or different nationalities have interest to invest so the bitcoin price is continue rising and will hit the price at $2000 . if bitcoin decrease the price at $800 dollars I will buy more and I will sell it when I contented to the price of market. That's my plan better you have plan A and plan B.
If you believe bitcoin rises every day then why to sell when it is $2k? Isn't it supposed to rise more? Yet I think it is good to have the limits to waiting, because otherwise one can wait for all his life and die being quite poor.
9153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You only lose if... on: February 28, 2017, 08:00:02 PM
You only lose if you didnt managed well your bitcoin. If you didnt managed well your time and effort by doing certain things. Just like in trading if you dont have the patient and effort to do a trade in a certain of time you will lose your bitcoin that way.
All these things are right without doubt. However, we have to ask ourselves what is the loss? I mean, people who own big mining farms. They spend nearly all their time on work in these rooms with loud miners. They control the process, the state of miners and the cooling system. They earn big sums of money but in my opinion they lose more, because they lose their life, sacrifice it for bitcoin and money.
9154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the time to buy on: February 28, 2017, 07:48:56 PM
Is now the time to buy altcoins or will they fall more before btc stops going up.
I believe it's now the time to buy litecoins. They have a good code and the currency is among the most popular. And now the price is quite low, ltc is not having the best times. With monero, on the other hand, the situation is opposite. From September till now the price is high and I guess we better wait till it becomes lower. Though I think monero with explode anyway. As for doge, perhaps it time to buy it, because the price is ridiculously low.
9155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I never made any profits in dice game.. whats is your opinion on: February 28, 2017, 07:31:54 PM
First time I have read this and it is somehow funny for me because I have experienced this when I was new with dice.
Never got the experience of a beginners luck.
I had such an experience, I guess. With 500 satoshi I made around 30 000 during my first days. Got lucke with this 1:10000.
Although that happened I created a rhythm into playing dice. When I see a lot of loses from other players that is the time I bet.
It doesnt work everytime but I did win a lot too by doing that.
That's funny. I loook at my own losses. So, firstly I bet with very low sum for some time and when on 50/50 I went through 5 losses I bet on more money again.
All this stuff doesn't help though, of course. In overall we all have a minus (we lose more than we win).
9156  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: February 27, 2017, 07:59:46 PM
Can you really be sure you will profit unless you have insider info?
I think you can't be sure anyway, because there is no such thing as 'insider info', especially when we talk about trading coins. You can look at the price dynamics, halving times, casinos' recognition and the rest is just luck. In this way I think it is a lot like gambling since you are likely to lose as well as get addicted to it. I think 'educated guessing' is a good definiton of trading in any case. The only things we can know about are some obvious ones like that Apple will be as popular in a week as it is now. But this won't help making business.
9157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I noticed something about Bitcointalk and alts reading old threads as a newbie on: February 27, 2017, 07:47:15 PM
If anyone in the "announcement" section of the forum says "all you have to do is reply here and we will send you some of our new fancy alt coins" just reply because you never know!! (i'm sure everyone would anyway,  but still...)
This is a great thing to do, because you lose nothing whereas can eventually win big time.  And yet I think such announcements are quite rare. At best we can see some faucets with altcoins there. By the way, it is also  inconvenient that one has to make new wallets for new alts. That's why I don't even want to have deal with anything except bitcoin, I don't want a mess of wallets and passwords.
9158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: February 27, 2017, 07:27:54 PM
Litecoin is not dead. Its development has not been jaw dropping but it has steadily been Litecoin. Litecoin is just it, not more.

I don't hold it, I don't invest in it but I accept that it is not dead and still has followers that are enthusiastic about it. It's nice that it's still around!

I think the life support for the litecoin will be maintained.

Made this thread 3 years ago, and LTC is still dead and on life support, 'ain't too much changed' "Dr Dre"
Litecoin is not growing as much as Monero and Doge. And yet if we look at the price dynamics - it is quite stable. Not to forget that ltc has a code analogical to bitcoin, so it is protected from inflation, because of the limited amount. And if you check out the casinos - litecoin is among the most recognised altcoins which can also make it popular soon.
And if we look at the monero, for instance, we'll see that the price was low for a long time and then suddenly has rizen up to 11$. But who knows what happens next. Monero's amount is not limited and I guess that's why it will slowly go away from the market.
9159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what about altcoin with unlimited potential supply? on: February 27, 2017, 10:34:31 AM
I guess unlimited supply is a bad thing for a currency, because it suffers from inflation this way. Litecoin is limited and works a lot like btc with its own halvings and reward sums. And it is one of the most popular coins now. I think eventually we'll see a few coins as strong as bitcoin but it will take time. Ltc and Ethereum are among the most promising, I suppose.
Maybe it would be great if there was altcoin with the total sum less than bitcoin. That would be interesing to look at. Maybe there already is such a currency though, I don't know.
