Y'all mad. I'd apologize for asking a dumb question but most of you were such dicks about it I'm glad for the chance to have annoyed you. Especially the 'fucktard' guy.

I hope your last meal is schmegma.

Lol ... It's just very evident that you did zero research on gpu mining rigs prior to coming in here and asking someone to sell you one.  Which happens way too often around here.  I may have called you a fucktard, but I did you a favor.

There are some trusted people in this forum that I would feel comfortable buying hardware from, but it's just not practical to ship a fully assembled gpu rig.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bad time to get into GPU mining - yes or no? Share your thoughts! on: January 25, 2018, 02:22:29 PM
I feel at the beginning POW was a good idea but with difficulty has risen so much and the power to mine coins increased a lot. While we are trying to adept electrical cars and trying to help the world( I am not talking about everyone, some people really don't care), on the other hand we consume so much electricity for mining. Bitcoin mining is using more power than 159 countries. It is crazy. I feel like mining will never die but in the long term, many coins will switch to more environmental friendly algos. In short term still, It is not a good idea to invest mining now. Buying a coin and waiting for increase is a better idea.

gave up on looking for a card. im just going to wait and hopefully can order from nvida

im not paying $1400 for a $600 video card.

1 1080ti makes you 5 dollars a day, and you would need to mine 24 hours a day 7 days a week for like 10 months to get your money back.  you cant mine shit with 1 card you need 2. now what your pushing $2400 to make $10 dollars a day?

then, you have to worry about the exchange robbing you like

hitbtc robs people
like coinshouse.eu robs peoples
like coinsmarket.com robbed people with exit scam
like yobit robbing people.

ect,ect

a miner is at the mercy of the exchange the coin is on, good luck dealing with hitbtc or any of the other scams

I've used HitBtc before without any issues.  Don't mine to an exchange or leave coins on an exchange though.  They should only be on the exchange for a short time while you are selling them.  Any other time, your coins should be in a wallet with a private key that you have in your hands.

If I can say one more thing ...

Don't invest in something that you do not understand.  You clearly do not understand it at this point.  So go do your research, don't be stupid, and ask questions based on your "hard earned" mininal knowledge.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to Buy Zcash GPU Mining Rig on: January 25, 2018, 03:19:45 AM
Take a look on Ebay.  They have a bunch of new miners for sale on there.

Lol.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! on: January 25, 2018, 03:16:42 AM
I keep saying gpu mining will die in 2018, I guess what could really die is gaming gpu mining will die in 2018 cause this shortage is not good at all.

I think that statement sounds sane.  One of the few sane sounding posts that I've seen from you, but I can get on board with that statement.

I've said this multiple times, adapt or die.  People who don't know what they are doing will die off.  The rest will adapt.  GPU or no GPU.  ASIC or no ASIC.  mASIC or no mASIC ... Yeah that was just made up, but it serves my point.  Technological advances that we've never even thought of or minimal technological advances in 2018 as far as mining goes.

It's all business as usual if you're looking at it from that stand point.  Google had better idea's than Yahoo several years ago ... What happened to Yahoo?  They didn't adapt.  Look where they are now.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to Buy Zcash GPU Mining Rig on: January 25, 2018, 03:02:48 AM
build your own, nuff said

BTC is on a slight rise, here they come.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to Buy Zcash GPU Mining Rig on: January 25, 2018, 03:00:43 AM
If you want to mine, build a rig.  If your only interest in crypto is zec, then just fucking buy zec.

Or I'll sell you a zec mining rig for about 30K USD ... Lol ... I mean, I have to mark it up for my time, right?

Serioulsy dude, do you really think anyone is going to sell you a gpu mining rig that is profitable?  Why wouldn't that person just plug it in themselves?  And how exactly would that person ship you a fully assembled 8 gpu mining rig?  Expect a lot of troubleshooting once it gets there, fucktard.  You wouldn't know what to do with it once you got it.

Scammer? Or just retarded?  I'm not sure.  You could be both.  A scammer might try this, because he doesn't know what the fuck he is talking about ... Also, a very uneducated person in mining might also post this sort of bullshit.  If you are legit, start reading my friend.  Come back in a few weeks when you haven't slept for days, eyes are bloodshot, and you have legit questions to ask.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a way to group all my machines into one ? on: January 25, 2018, 02:10:10 AM
I understand what he wants, I just don't know the purpose or benefit that he thinks he will get from it.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to overclock multiple cards at same time? on: January 25, 2018, 12:42:56 AM
AfterBurner has to be running after the reboot.  Did you set it to run at startup?  Just look and see if your overclock settings are still there in AfterBurner after the reboot.  If not, I guess you didn't save them.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1070 asus or gigabyte? on: January 25, 2018, 12:39:39 AM
Asus.  I don't trust Gigabyte cooling systems.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is there a way to group all my machines into one ? on: January 25, 2018, 12:14:01 AM
I'm trying to figure out why you even want to do that?
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Network setup for my rig room on: January 24, 2018, 09:40:34 PM
I mean, I get what you're saying ... I wouldn't want exposed cabling running all over my house either.  I just wanted you to know that there are decent options out there that you can use to hide cabling.  I've used those things a lot.  Once they are painted the color of the wall, you barely notice them.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kill-A-Watt beeping for 9 GPU Rig on: January 24, 2018, 09:34:26 PM
This is california electric cost
https://i.imgur.com/X9RMZff.jpg
I think i should sell this rig...

According to that ... You're probably going to be paying high usage rates, because that rig alone is going to be using 658 kwh every 30 days.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Network setup for my rig room on: January 24, 2018, 09:29:00 PM
They don't have to be exposed.  There are plenty of cable raceway systems that can be attached to the wall and painted the same color as the wall ... Just one example ...

935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kill-A-Watt beeping for 9 GPU Rig on: January 24, 2018, 09:10:32 PM
0.23 california rate

Wow ... Didn't realize it was that high out there.  I'm paying 0.10 in the midwest.  So anyway ... If the rig is using 915W at the wall ... You'll be paying around $151.XX per month for that, if it's consuming 915W 24/7 for 30 days.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kill-A-Watt beeping for 9 GPU Rig on: January 24, 2018, 09:04:28 PM
How much do you pay per kwh for electricity to your electric company?
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kill-A-Watt beeping for 9 GPU Rig on: January 24, 2018, 08:32:45 PM
Hi
Please help me
When i push Watt button it shows 915 watts but when i push the purple button it shows 8.71 KWH,i don't understand what this means !?!?
915 watts for gpu might be fair, but what means 8.71 KWH ?
Thank you

The 8.71 kwh is probably usage since it's been plugged in.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kill-A-Watt beeping for 9 GPU Rig on: January 24, 2018, 08:31:16 PM
does that mean it consume 2$ per hour Huh

915W*24 Hours=21960W

*Convert to Kilowatts*

21960/1000=21.96kW

*Multiply by kWh Cost ($0.10)*

21.96kW*$0.10=$2.196/day

-

That's how you calculate it.  Change the $0.10 rate to whatever you pay for electricity.

I used to say you don't need 8GB of RAM.  Now that I have been running 4 rigs with 8GB of RAM for a week, I realize why people do it.  The system just runs that much more stable.  Things don't seem as laggy when I'm remoted in from another location either.

If you can spend a little more and get a Pentium CPU, I would do that too.  I paid $40usd for my Celeron ... I think the Pentium was $52.  It's not that much more money.
