921  Economy / Securities / Re: Starting a new FPGA mining farm/contract! Cognitive Resurrected on[Havelock] on: February 20, 2014, 08:05:00 PM
I would like to see photos of all this hardware we have. Esp the scrypt stuff.

After photos we need a list of everything and then where it is mining.

Also a list of addresses so we can see if what we are mining is close to the theoretical.

This is just the basic basic stuff that needs to be done in the next few days.

18 hours on clevermining with 2.6mh/s - 0.026114 total and 6% rejects. seems good enough

Dude you need to seriously read a little here and there, megamultipool does 1% rejects for me and earns me better than clevermining. I tried clevermining guess what after several days of not mining there's still some btc left in my account, 24 hours of mining there and i have still after so many days not received a complete payout, just .008 with 1mh. Leave alone the disgusting reject rate.

no need to teach me mate, im testing all available pools out there and clevermining happens to be the one im mining at right now. wafflepool is next on my list, then i might try megamultipool.
seems to me that middlecoin is really dead, and like i said h20 can't be bothered or moved to a different venture

924  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 220 TH/s on: February 19, 2014, 01:18:09 PM
One more try on possible future valuation. I will use different approach - comparison with peers.
At the beginning I want to say that I had some trouble to find really comparable and publicly listed operations. For example there are several mining operations listed on Havelock - COG, HMF, KCIM - but each of them seems to be different in a meaningful way from Peta. HMF and KCIM are much, much smaller (by a factor of 20-40). In the case of COG it seems that the person who runs it does a lot of things that lead to a loss of credibility - which I hope won't be the case of Peta.

There are, of course, operations of 'hosting' and 'mining contract' type - but these having completely different model does not fix our purpose.

To chose peers I started with the following assumption: Peta has a good chance to be perceived by the market as a high profile operation. So I searched for listed operations with very good opinion.
I also searched for ventures with reinvestment strategy - this eliminates for example Picostocs' 500TH.
Stellar reputation and reinvestment requirements left me with: GMP (Cryptostocks), HMF (Havelock) and KCIM (Havelock). All of them much smaller but having good reputation and similar model.
To quantify this comparison I will use the price of Ghs we pay when buying shares. All ventures wait for new 28nm equipment and expect jump in hash power by March 2014.
Why all three could give a hint of FUTURE valuation of PETA? - 1) all three didn't sell their equipment in November 2013 so they have been paying dividends all the time. Which puts them well into the frame of running operation with reinvestment 2) their reputation is already very well established and the market sees practically no operational risk.

Comparison:

GMP - 0,09btc/Ghs
KCIM - 0,065btc/Ghs
HMF - 0,085btc/Ghs

PETA just after deployment: 240 -340Th, 80675 shares,  2,88-3,45 Ghs/share which leads to a price in the range of 0,185-0,32.

Further into the future?
1) Market valuation per Ghs will most probably decline in time (consequence of rising difficulty)
2) Smartness of reinvestment enters in full importance - CryptX's simulations show that Ghs/share could be well above 10 at the end of the year.

Please, don't treat this estimation too seriously. It's just a shot. And there are a lot of IF's  Wink

very nice valuation but in your calculation you forgot about bdd (B.MINE) on havelock which is a 5gh/s mining bond, priced at 0.067 per unit, way below ipo price

B.MINE is a derivative, not an asset

Yes, it shouldn't be taken into consideration.
B.MINE price reflects expected dividend from 5Ghs but only during very limited time frame. What's more there are certain rules that may provoke it's early expiration in case of stagnating or falling difficulty - exactly when you would expect rising dividend. Additionally the time frame of its dividend is impacted by payouts to B.SELL. Anyone considering purchase of B.MINE should read very carefully its documentation.

yes, that is right, i stand corrected. didn't read properly or extensive enough

PETA share price on havelock is really undervalued at this point, considering all the hardware coming in next few days/weeks.

no point going at h20 as of yet, for all we know he might be locked up for raping a homeless man or something. the fact of the matter is he did make us a lot of BTC when he was on it 100% and of course made himself rich on the way, but thats the way it goes. if he stole and cheated (which he probably did) then fuck it, let him choke on it that greedy fuck, but we still get our pay and it was better than competition.  it may be that middlecoin is dead, but one just have to adapt and diversify and switch over to another rapist.Smiley i'm at clevermining for few days then try waffle
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - www.middlecoin.com on: February 19, 2014, 08:38:57 AM
today's payout is a joke! seriously, i had enough of this. switched my 2.6mh/s to clevermining.

h2o probably did one cause he made so much money he can't be really bothered to run the site anymore. (quit while you're ahead!)

Great... so Ken put all the money into developing and producing ASIC's and then someone is smart enough to report VMC to the authorities? For revenge? Since i dont see that killing the company will get a reasonable amount of bitcoins back to shareholders.
I wish people could control their fear at least so far that they could make decisions that look like the best financially outcome. I dont see that coming from VMC having to refund all customers and spreading satoshis for his shareholders while stopping operations.

If Ken hadn't of repeatedly lied time and time again over many months none of these complaints would have been filed. He brought this on himself through his own incompetence.

There is also no proof Ken has paid for anything.

eASIC does not put up a press release until there is a deal which has to be paid so, there is your proof that we paid eASIC.

that statement proves fuck all ken! it was only released to bump up the share price. how about you provide us with proof of payment to easic.

935  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 13, 2014, 12:42:17 AM
just another meaningless update packed with lies and fake promises. oh, and thanks for clarifying the easic deal.
936  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 12, 2014, 07:55:32 PM
...however, i won't be participating in any of the discussion about the subject because i had enough of this. Me, when i trust someone with my money and that someone is blatantly lying back to me, for me thats it, habitually crossing the line. If ken would have told the truth and treated investors (who gave him the money to start with) seriously I would stfu and just leave my shares in a capable and honest hands of mr slaughter and his multi-million dollar company, I wouldn't even mind the long delay before miners are shipped. But this is just too much and i want out!

938  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: My rig wont boot once I add my third graphics card on: February 11, 2014, 10:53:07 PM
I am having a similar problem and just came across this thread and decided to bring it back to life. can anyone help.?

Trying to add 3rd gpu to my rig but whatever i do it just won't boot to bios, just blank screen and no video output signal. With 2 cards it's working fine. I already tested each card seperately, or in pairs, on different pci-e slots, with or without risers, with no luck. I suspect it's my PSU but would like to ask for advice before I buy another one.

asrock z77 extreme 4-m
intel cpu
6 gb ram
250gb sata
3x sapphire r9 270x
corsair 750W PSU
x1 - x1 risers

any help kindly appreciated Smiley
