I finally made the switch to Linux, and Im enjoying it a lot more than expected. Not so difficult as it seems, makes you think a little bit more than a normal winows-user experience, so it's fun and exciting if you enjoy challenges, and it's free software!

Awesome dude! Glad to hear you're using Linux! If you ever need any help just pm me, I should be able to help you out. What distro are you using?

928  Other / Meta / Re: Madness Banned on: March 05, 2015, 03:30:19 PM
There is a simple thing to do "post as if you aren't wearing any signature ad and you will be safe". I think this is a simple thing to understand & apply, or maybe I am wrong.
If you posted as if you weren't wearing a signature and you posted a short one liner it would be looked upon as spam unfortunately, but if you don't, it wouldn't be thought as so. I'd usually just pm the op if I'm going to be posting something short. So it's not upon as spam and the point still gets Across
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alert!!! Auction Again!!! What do you think? on: March 05, 2015, 02:57:47 PM
I personally don't think it's going to have any effect at all.
Maybe just a minor increase in price.

It's been a second since I tried linux for the nth time but I always like how Windows 'just works' (usually).  With Linux it's like constantly googling for the next secret handshake to fix whatever issue.

But.. Linux can def have advantages too
Linux distributions like Ubuntu are opensourced which might be more secure than Windows and you can compile it yourself.

Compile it yourself?
For a beginner, that is really not an option.

For beginners it's not. Linux isn't really an option for users who aren't very advanced with computers. Windows is better since there is a lot of support for it on the Internet. Linux is for the advanced users who know how to differentiate between chalk and cheese
931  Economy / Services / Re: *** FREE *** No-Fee Escrow Services on: March 05, 2015, 02:44:55 PM
I really recommend you build up your trust. I have a pretty decent trust feedback and out of the few months I've been offering escrow, I've only escrowed for 2 deals and 1 signature campaign contest.
But you need to build your trust from nothing. He just want to start. And you already want him to be trusted with green numbers all over him. All escrows started without trust at all. Just give him a chance.

Majority of the agents I know have started a service as of their trust. It's rather you have a decent trust feedback score or you build it then start. I offered when I was a full member with no trust at all. I got told the same points above.
It is obvious. That it would be the best if he started as a hero/legendary user with years spent on this forum. But his 'member' status is not a reason to doubt him.

No its not, he could be the next Vod.  All I'm saying is that it's advisable for him to get some credibility first.
Good luck with your venture!

933  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best Cloud mining Site? on: March 05, 2015, 02:13:57 PM
I think on terms of being legit, CEX.IO wins. But cloud mining rarely turns a profit. You make more money trading it than mining Tongue

how much fee cex io?
to invest there.

I was not to suggest cex.io because maintenance costs can be more expensive than its bitcoin reward cmiiw

agree on that, i remember sometime ago i got negative in balance because of that

cex.io past and present very different, first time I was very lucky, but now I am very loss. revenue is always less, and therefore I do not play there anymore. and for the moment is not good also to play cloud mining

I have an account at cex.io and when I first signed up which was some time ago,  I invested and gained some referrals. Right now, my referrals are making me breakeven. I sold my GHs as of this.
934  Economy / Services / Re: I need some one to buy me a $3700 laptop on Amazon. Paying 9.50 bitcoins!!! on: March 05, 2015, 12:23:29 PM
I would like to answer some your questions you have asked in this post. I am serious about my offer.

#1 - I will only use a trusted Escrow service for this deal/exchange. No exceptions to this rule. I will never send bitcoins as upfront paymant!

#2 - I am not a fucking carder  Roll Eyes I have never committed credit card fraud in my life. & Yes I wanted to use my own legitimate personal CC to buy btc.

#3 - Yes I know the price I am paying is asking for a big discount. No shit buddy! But that's what I can afford to pay in bitcoins at this stage.

#4 - I specifically said NO CARDED Amazon gift codes or accounts. And I will also say NO HACKED Amazon accounts either.

Please don't message me if you want me to send bitcoins to you first. I will only use Escrow! Only after I receive the laptop will coins be released.

Then buy legitimate gift cards from gyft.com. You'll get a bigger chance of getting your laptop there.
935  Economy / Services / Re: I need some one to buy me a $3700 laptop on Amazon. Paying 9.50 bitcoins!!! on: March 05, 2015, 08:34:23 AM
Lol! in this post OP is trying to change 9.5 BTC into Amazon, yet in this other post he's trying to buy BTC with a credit card. It seems like he's been buying a lot of Bitcoin with credit cards recently. Suspicious isn't it, you would think he would just buy the laptop with his credit card, but... maybe it isn't his credit card at all...

Hello 247exchange.com I want to exchange $1850 Us Dollars from Visa credit card into bitcoins. How much do you charge in fee's for the exchange?

IGOT are stupid idiots and that Julie support staff character is a fucking idiot! IGOT blatantly LIE when they say you can deposit Credit Card via Bpay.

You can not deposit with a credit card through Bpay that is a huge LIE! Bpay credit card deposits are charged a  21% cash advance fee from your bank!

Also I sumbit I.D documents for verification and they come back saying "pictures blurry". Are they fucking serious? My I.D scans are 600 dpi quality!

IGOT nopt to bve trusted! They are LIERS!

Great probably carded stuff. Maybe that's why he's not interested in buy a gift card.

It's just that you used windows first is which why you prefer it and why you're used to it. If you stated off with Linux you'd get to know it like the back of your hand
937  Other / Meta / Re: Forum mods? on: March 05, 2015, 04:50:27 AM
There is no application form. You have to report posts. If you have a good accuracy and decent report quality you might have a chance.

Thank you for the info. I have since started reporting posts and so far 10/10 have been sport on just reported another now and going to continue to report them.

Shame their is not application form for this sort of thing as ma sure many would apply for the job as it does need a lot of work doing. I have in the past put ideas forward for sections to be made up but never heard a single response to them. Guessing didn't see them or just didn't approve them

An application form would be overwhelming for all the mods and staff members to contend with. Rather step forward to a member with the power to make you a staff member.

I guess so but could be a good thing if their is staff needed and not just picking people at random. Would give people the opportunity to work somewhere with demands and a massive community that needs mods. Already doing my part but some of it seems to go un noticed from what I can see but then again never really spoke to staff on a level for a job. Who would be best to speak to mr mods or some staff member to ask about a job on here. Is their even any currently going or is Bitcointlak even looking for members of staff?

I have a feeling Eal F. Skillz is going to be demoted, so you may be able to fulfil his space.
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Couriers that accept bitcoin? on: March 05, 2015, 04:39:51 AM
Regular transactions are FREE, meaning going to the store and buying something will have no fee, and trading fee is 1% loading fee is 2% and monthly fee is 1$ per month. ATM fees are around 2$, but this is fair price to pay for hard cash in 5 minutes (time it takes to walk to ATM).

Where did you purchase the card from?  No fees for regular transactions are amazing.
Got the card from e-coin like I just said. I haven't received the card yet, just purchased it a couple minutes ago but that is what I got from the fee section on their website.

Oh okay, I should have actually taken a look at it. Sorry vortex  Cheesy. Tell me if you get your card

Might I just add, if you use Ubuntu, it's actually very user friendly. If you haven't used linux before you'll learn quickly with Ubuntu (at least I did)
