921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 08, 2016, 01:45:49 PM
someone with a lot of startcoin seems to be serially dumping. Do we know exactly who holds all the Startcoin that was used at startjoin etc etc? This seems to be a bit fishy. Anyone with a lot of Startcoin will be knowledgeable enough to know not to sell a few days before Startjoin V2???

(I'm not trying to hold back the price as I own a lot of start and want it to grow)

I think the same. It is strange that people are selling, while the platform will be launched tomorrow. There will probably be some media-attention around it, Keiser is a guarantee for that. I recently rebought, made a nice profit selling at 4300 and buying back at 3400. At first i was not planning to buy back, but yesterday's confirmation and the significant amount of buy-orders give me some confidence that it's worth the gamble. It would be strange if the price would not react at all to this moment we had to wait for for over a year.

Allright, some signs of life. So tomorrow is launch. Fo'sure???

''There is talk of some pretty big partnerships with AID:TECH leading the charge having paired with some of the largest NGOs on the planet.''

Is this news? or only to me? Someone has more details?

I heard ARK will be on Mt.Gox as soon as launched! Buy more Lisk, get Bonus now!
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Multi-Language App Development Environments on: November 07, 2016, 05:25:01 PM

Is there a Telegram chat for this project? I know from Lykke that this is also are really easy way to communicate with the community.

No Telegram chat at this time, but we do have a RISE Slack chat channel. To receive an invite -> http://slack.rise.vision

Alright thanks, I just joined. It seems more active. I'm going to download the app.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🅰RK🔹 [ANN][ARK] A Platform for Consumer Adoption [TEC - 120% Lisk Bonus] on: November 07, 2016, 04:53:17 PM
The only thing that I am buying is LSK. I guess there is many people stupid enough to purchase lot's of it to profit from this amazingly dumb bonus structure. It's even dumber than the first day Decent +50%. They collected like 99% of the funds on day one... and then many weeks of nothing.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Multi-Language App Development Environments on: November 07, 2016, 04:49:40 PM
Look, I do not want to think about starting any legal procedures. Only if things go really wrong this would be an option. If the team did their best there is nothing to accuse them for, its all part of investing. The management is only personally responsible if there is some proof of mismanagement...

The thing that I find kind of strange is that the amount of communication during the ICO, about ambitions and stuff, was a lot more intensive that it has ever been after the ICO. This gives the feeling that the same is the case for project development. The team seems rather fragmented. I wonder if everyone, at all time, knows from eachother what who is currently doing. Some defined roles in the team don't seem applicable at the moment.

There is some community management. I think you may say that there is kind of a trust crisis atm among the community. All this price dumping is at low volume, this is all that is causing panic. A buywall (at like 40% of ICO price or whatever) would at least build up some trust for a while. The volume in the past couple of weeks was rather low, so no traders would really profit big time.

I am convinced that the true believers in this project would never sell at 40% of the ICO price, but at least we would get rid of these huge red percentages day after day on very low volume and all the scam accusations in this thread. The way everyone and the office was introduced at the moment right after the ICO I believe these are just good people...

I think also the buywall shows that the project lead had trust in the project themselves. All tokens that are bought could be used in a 2nd ICO at the end of next year or something. I dunno, maybe it would be a stupid idea. I know that Lykke did the same.

Maybe we should ask the community. I'm sorry to say, but as long as there is no real innovation realized it is unrealistic to expect that people are going to be active on the RISE forum. All (potential) community is here in this bitcointalk thread. It's not very big...

Is there a Telegram chat for this project? I know from Lykke that this is also are really easy way to communicate with the community.

Thanks for reading all this.

ps. i do agree that this picture of Shazad is rediculously unprofessional. He got like this look: thanks for your money, I'm off partying. Sorry if I insult Shazad by saying this. Maybe all teammembers should make some similar personal pictures... with like a RISE background.

You guys received 1.3 million USD in funding. You gotta communicate a lot more to account for this money. What is everyone in this team doin? What kind of advisor is Shazad? Whats going on with Gerlof? RiseGal and McVenture not even in this list? Are all these people getting paid? For doing what? Where are all these people located? is this even a team?

Investors lost 80% of their investments, you guys should be showing us that you are doing everything that you can. As long as you guys do nothing, the supporters of this project will keep losing their money...

If you can't deliver, because it is too difficult or there is conflict within the team, maybe you should start thinking about a token buyback program.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Multi-Language App Development Environments on: November 05, 2016, 02:12:13 PM
i am at the loss of 75% as per the rate now.

Invested 2.9 BTC. Current BTC value 0.56 BTC

Same story here. Only 2 BTC though and I sold at 1200, bought back at 800, 600 and 500. I dunno, I feel dumb not selling. I feel dumb not buying. This coin is valued as a junk coin (on rather low volume), but it has a development fund as big as most top 50 coins. I do not think the Dev team are scammers. In the beginning they posted pictures of the new developers, the new office and updates. They published several SDK's, so they aint doin nothing, but progress seems really slow.

I'm curious to see the transparancy about the expenditures.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 05, 2016, 09:25:19 AM
Without an ICO there is no development fund. Without development fund there's no chances for a coin to survive.

Yes, is the dev having premined fund? Maybe he can sell that fund. Start is old coin and reliable dev team, I trust them.

Just 4 more days...
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 04, 2016, 07:54:42 PM
It all depends on the quality of the platform. If it's good, max keisers pr could be priceless. If it's disappointing everyone will go back to calling him and his companions scammers...

There's the potential of earning multiple 100% profit, but might well end up losing 50-60%. I think it's an attractive bet.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 04, 2016, 06:18:42 PM
I expected more Fud by now, but the thread remains rather peacefully until late now... 5 days till launch
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Multi-Language App Development Environments on: November 04, 2016, 02:31:05 PM
what are the news ?
what is planned in the near future ?

I heard it planned to Rise.

That is how they got over 1000 btc, if they called it "Drop" they would only get 10 btc.

It is how scam going, althought the team is still there, but the price under ico, 20% of ico price, which is also a scam, with the team is without the team

This is supposed to be an English sentence? Just take it easy.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 03, 2016, 03:02:02 PM
6 more days to launch.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [START] StartCOIN 2.0 - The digital currency for crowdfunding on: November 02, 2016, 09:07:54 PM
StartCoin halving in the end of November.
A wonderful excuse to continue the New Year's rally.
Remember ToTheMoon in November  Grin

Halving does not matter. Everything will depend on the quality of the new platform. Something we will only find out on the 9th of November.

Is it maybe possible to add this date to the thread title?
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][rICO]Antshares Blockchain Mainnet is ONLINE! on: November 02, 2016, 07:37:34 PM
Forget moon. Saturn here we come.
939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Multi-Language App Development Environments on: November 02, 2016, 07:35:48 PM
Regular updates have been promised before, and it just hasn't happened. Everything is always 'coming soon' or 'to be announced.' I'm really sick of it, and I'm very sorry I put any money towards this, but believe me I won't make the same mistake with one of your projects in the future.

Updates are pretty regular. To me they are always rather honest.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | Building Multi-Language App Development Environments on: November 01, 2016, 10:25:35 PM
In the world of crypto people are given the title of scammer all the time for no legit reason. Investors are just impatient or make losses because of low liquidity markets. Then they blame it on the development teams. People gotta realize that these are highly speculative investments and that losing money is part of the game. Some coins fail, just like 99% of the silicon valley startups... doesn't mean the founders are scammers... most of the time you're just a bad loser who thinks crypto is riskless free money. If ur looking for this, try US treasuries and gtfo of here.

K tnx.
