Did our fix resolve the KARM issue?

for me it did. thank you.
You got double-credited by a mistake and you instantly abused the bug and sold all the KARM.
Your account is disabled, contact us via PM.

wtf are you talking about!!

people that abused that bug on purpose did nothing other than stealing, they should be punished. If a shopowner forgets to put an alarmtag on a product, you're still not allowed to steal it.

Hey guys, on CoinMarketCap.com, when there are question marks next to a coin, what does that mean?

it has not been on there for 24 hours, so it can not determine the change since 24 hours. Gotta wait 1 day Smiley... better to buy before the green shows up Smiley
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ••• [ANN][SMC] SmartCoin • FAIR DISTRIBUTION • 3 EXCHANGES [COINMARKET.IO] ••• on: February 06, 2014, 03:49:54 PM
Ye, the coinmarketcap quote is going to bring in some significant additional capital. Especially since smartcoin came in on last place. Epic Pump following... Be aware for the dump tho. Really impressed by the speed in which I can move my SmartCoins around.

Current marketcap is rather low, in a week we'll be saying to each other, remember that time when 1 smartcoin was less than 5 cents??
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ▬►►Join COINO now◄◄▬ fast & high profit coin [low diff] on: February 05, 2014, 12:11:42 PM
If CoinO gets listed on Cryptsy, we'll be golden. If not, its gonna be a hard time, Cryptsy is the real first barrier for altcoins to take in their attempt to survive, if you ask me...

That used to be the case but it's not any more. Cryptsy is becoming a deathbed for coins.

What happens is the price balloons just "before" it gets listed, due to low liquidity on the minority exchanges, then when it arrives it tanks.

The reason for that is that mining is now a pump and dump operation due to the sheer number of alt coins around and the exchange provides miners with demand liquidity that was not available before it went on a mainstream exchange. The urgency is to dump as soon as it's on the exchange because the price is only going to go down - not up.

Look at for example, Moon. It traded as high as 0.0000033 BTC the day before it went on cryptsy. Then once on the exchange it dropped immediately to 0.0000010 and never saw more than 15 at it's peak after that.

The only "alt" coins that are worth holding long term are ones that have been specifically designed to fulfill a certain monetary role in a crypto-economy and that have gained a foothold as such. For example Peercoin was designed to support large transactions, not point of sales ones and had appropriate thought put into it's transaction fee structure, inflation profile, ratio of proof of work / proof of stake etc etc. Similarly Prime Coin (XPM) was an evolution of peercoin and was designed to support peercoin in it's role. NxT is a network which has genuinely evolved features such as decentralised exchanges, layer 2 services and 100% proof of stake etc. Bitcoin is bitcoin - a massively powerful computing network that no-one else can match, so it's future is secured.

Those coins may or may not be successful in the long term, but all I'm saying is the dynamics of cryptocurrencies are changing all the time and "getting on an exchange" is no longer the path to a "pump", it's now the path to a "dump" do to the number of miners who's sole purpose is to use mining as a value leverage exercise.

tru, but not all succesfull alts have to be innovatie. Marketing can do a significant part of the job, as is proven by Quark and Doge.

I've just used all my btc to buy coinos Smiley

pretty bad moment if you ask me. Coinmarketcap only showing last 750 Coinos with a price of 5000 satoshis... after that price falls to only 1200 and lower.... with all buy support gone, things aint looking bright Sad. Last few days there is simply no demand at all for coino
1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ▬►►Join COINO now◄◄▬ fast & high profit coin [low diff] on: February 05, 2014, 11:44:09 AM
Is it end this coin? Prcie only goes lower and lower...

Possibly. Now the miners are starting to dump. Whats on the exchanges isn't even a fraction of what's been mined and this trickle will turn into a bit of a torrent.

As I pointed out earlier in this thread, the natural value of this coin is possibly in the 100 satoshi region if that (0.00000100) when everybody's done dumping. 3.5 million mined coins are mined every month so I can see why people want to offload them now while these prices exist. (See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=419873.msg4864038#msg4864038). Once it reaches it's natural level and goes on an exchange, the price could rise from there, at which point it will be in competition with all other coins.

It's looking like a pump & dump IMO which will be history in 2 years time.

If you think like this, not a single coin has potential... if all the coins mined would be brought to the exchange, every coin would drop dramatically. Theres only two important things to look at: what is the current market cap and what is the quality of the coin compared to coins with a higher market cap?

If vertcoin gets a market cap of 10 million with no really remarkable features at all, than coino with a professional marketing agency backing it, should have more potential in the long run...

If CoinO gets listed on Cryptsy, we'll be golden. If not, its gonna be a hard time, Cryptsy is the real first barrier for altcoins to take in their attempt to survive, if you ask me...

RDD is kinda interesting as an experiment, high volume coin, with a rather big IPO portion being slowly released.
There is community for the coin, decent hashrate, gravity well. Free market will have to decide on its life expectancy.

This is not a coin for a BTC-pair listing if you ask me... If another exchange is going to list it agains LTC or XPM... the price will never get above 1 satoshi anymore.

Theres just 0,7 btc needed to buy up the whole sell orders in the orderbook... the community of smartcoin is really weak, none buys everyone just cherishes his free 60 coins or sells m... if you want value for ur coins, you gotta buy collectively. Thats why the community determines the strength and value of the coin... but this community is weak it seems

THE ONLINE WALLET IS A SCAM
i already did warn people about it, the owner of the site withdraw your coins for him self, and no coins in his website so you can withdraw, your only hope is to repeat withdrawing 1 - 5 coins wishing someone else deposit coins any minute soon.
your next step is to get the owner of that website in jail and blame smc devs for not requesting ID and adress of that website owner

also here is the whois info for the online wallet

I've also been scammed by this wallet!!

It's showing my coins but when I request a withdrawal it says I do not have enough smc to withdraw!!!

Very annoyed since the dev posted it on the first page and it's on the website!!

Don't count on the dev to take charge. This dev has been pretty much worthless since she hit the launch button. I think this coin was a premined dump coin, which is why the price is where it is at.

I disagree. The Dev had a lot of work in creating the system for claiming the SMC's and dividing them by mail. The launch was really smooth and the coin is quoted on three exchanges. I think hes doing a decent job, we should not demand too much.
1620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ultracoin discussion on: February 02, 2014, 03:38:06 PM
I do not get why people are complaining about this coin...

From start on it was know that this coin would bring no innovation whatsoever. People just jumped in on this coin because Bumface was behind it. There is no development team involved, just one developer Ziggy. Bumface is not a dev himself (he never said that either).

Everyone who bought into this coin and now complains about the weak techno-infrastructure behind it was just naive from the start. You knew there was no innovation in this coin, you knew only one dev was invovled, you knew there was a premine from which all gains went straight to the founder/dev.

In other words, you could have known... everything was as transparant as ice. I wouldnt even say its a scam.

Its almost the same as someone selling you a bag full of air and you just buy the air because the person holding the bag is someone famous. This person is not scamming you if he made clear that there was air in the bag.
