lol the optimal fee indication in https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC went from 0.0004 to 0.00008557 BTC in a couple of hours
922  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 08:17:49 PM
No priv keys dropped for some hours now. The total number of unconfirmed transactions is still going up and down though. BTCChina and F2Pool aren't doing much to help clearing the backlog by mining non full blocks.
923  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 07:41:25 PM
I've successfully loaded 1.05 Bitcoins to my trashed blockchain account  Grin

I'll sell the whole account for 0.1 BTC Tongue
ok gimme me 0.1 BTC and i will eh get that account from you

back to bussiness: i have a question with all this spam/stress test/ddos...hundred/thousands of unconfirmed and delayed transactions, high fees...etc,  why the btc price is relatively stable {yet}?

The price went down but recovered briefly.

IMO it's because people see that the claimed 30 day backlog isn't going to happen with just the giveaway.
924  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 06:54:45 PM
I remember they said the stress test could create a 30 day backlog. Wouldn't that require a ~4Gb mempool? I don't think it could be reached.

I have seen over $70 claimed from the addresses I'm watching. It is not impossible to get money from this. However, nobody seems to want to help.

That's because most people don't want to participate in this 'attack' on the network. aka, not helping, IS helping.

http://motherboard.vice.com/read/great-job-everyone-bitcoiners-are-ddosing-bitcoin

Not the case. People don't have the access or knowledge on the required tools to get those coins moved. Read few of the last pages of this post and you'll figure out how hard it is to do it.
926  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 05:41:44 PM
one thing that should happen, is that prices on different bitcoin-marketplaces should start to differ from each other as arbitrage people are not able to transfer btc. but at the time beeing that doesnt seem to be an issue (besides that i dont quite believe that arbitrage is possible, as fiat transfer is far to slow, so the price-matching must come from somewhere else)..

arbitrage can take place with existing balances

i fear the electrum network stalls, client is high on cpu and does not react anymore

Same for all clients, any non full node wallet is no good. Even bitcoin core has issues.

I fired up bitcoin core and I wonder if I could somehow force it to use more of my CPU because my 8 core wouldn't handle this nicely if it were for the wallet to run on 1 single core.
928  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 04:55:24 PM
The addresses they released lately contain ~0.03 BTC

Turns out that even this on it's own is enough to clog up mempool... Each address gets hundreds of unconfirmed transactions

Care to stop right here and wait a couple of days for our full nodes to sync? Cheesy

Also bc.i is slow at catching up with the inputs and ends up ignoring most of them. That too probably plays a role on why it shows up wrong stats.
931  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 02:59:42 PM
Funny how I managed to collect almost a full bitcoin with this, but the balance remains unspendable for some reasons. Has anyone successfully created a transaction? If so, how much have you already gained from this? I stopped it because I cannot make any transaction. I don't use core, only use blockchain.info to try this out.

What status are he coins in??
Are they Pending?? what?

Same here used blockchain.info and got about 10+ wallet and none of one unable to spend amount

showing only in each wallet when try to send any amount (Available: 0.0004 BTC)

That's because it's calculating fees on a /Kb basis. Those addresses have been filled with 0.00001 BTC transactions hence pulling coins of them creates hugely sized transactions. Anything below the fee blockckchain.info could get those transactions stuck and that's why they don't let people go below it. The downside is that you can't use blockchain.info to spend from those addresses. :p

He probably just managed to get the addresses in bc.i. Sweep wouldn't work there anyway. He still can't send transaction because blockchain.info is bad at handling fees and has no flexible settings.

BC.i is probably being 'ddosed' by all those requests. They're the only web wallet able to handle such a thing, thankfully their system somewhat handles huge amount of requests by blocking some. Has their API been affected?
934  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: CoinWallet.eu Stress Test Cancelled + Bitcoin Giveaway on: September 10, 2015, 02:18:40 PM
Transaction too large to be send  Sad

In Bitcoin Core you need to use coin control.
But coin control crashes my bitcoin core and it keeps loading forever.

I'd say use bitcoind but that's not easy for someone without much experience.

Each wallet contain 3000 output and about 0.035 BTc balance
is this balance real
Are we able to spend this balance or not or its just a waste of time ?

Do you have a deployable and synced full node wallet running on a computer with good processing power? If not then it is a waste of time. Not that people that manage to get coins out of those addresses will earn much too. Getting any amount of coins out requires huge fees, trying to spend multiple inputs makes it worse. With so many people owning the priv keys, it's apparent that the unconfirmed transactions from each address are to the hundreds. I don't know if trying to reverse those unconfirmed transactions would be feasible.

BTW here's a list with the addresses of some priv keys I grabbed in case you want to check their balances and transactions.

Does coinage have an import private key option? If so this could get ugly with news not understanding how bitcoin txs work and demanding to be paid out in fiat for "their" imported coins.

LOL coinbase shut down their import priv key function back in august. True captains of industry.  Grin

The other block explorers work like blockr.up
It's funny how many people think bc.info is thee only way to check addresses. If you have a fI'll node running it should be relatively easy to move those coins. I haven't synced my core in a few weeks and it's time to goto work so I wI'll only be a spectator.  Coinwallet.eu, clever girl.

Care to enlighten us mortals as to why? I don't understand why other wallets like electrum won't do (aside of the fact that they crash trying to load the priv key alone lol).

I tried to check this wallet

https://blockchain.info/address/1BepxXDfAYMhRKP69xuUxvzwy2HsAh6TuK

Private key - L4FJC5Lun8bHebAJGPPQpqit7iUxQFCMj6DEpHzXS44Mc3apuvmW

Try with anything but a web wallet... I don't even know if core would manage handling those. Maybe for standalone wallets electrum is the best because of it's sweep option. Still the fees to get coins out are big..

Isn't Electrum an SPV wallet? I'm not sure it would work...

You think that'd be an issue? Core doesn't have a sweep option though.

Lol those priv keys are wallet crashers. Their UTXO is so large most wallets won't handle it and just crash, not to speak of web wallets. Getting coins away from the addresses with les that 0.02 BTC in is pointless as there are so many imputs the fees to get coins out without the TX getting stuck would be ginormous.

coinwallet are just great at creating mayhem.
