IMO, it can replace fiat because bitcoin is just an asset just like other investment tool like diamond,gold ,etc
Although I'm also expecting it can be legalize but it's impossible.

But when some altcoin have high value, it means that people have interest on it.

SInce my government is weak against dollar, they try for not legalize bitcoin because it can cause inflation.
So I think it's impossible for my government to legalize bitcoin except they have open minded and change their view about bitcoin advantage !

For my government , it become disadvanatge for them to legalize cryptocurrency.
Gambling and bitcoin anonimity become the weapon for our criminal for example like corruptor.

My government decide to ban any crypto things mostly because of Criminal and inflation reason.
Criminal.
It can be use for criminal attempt especially for corruptor since our enemy still corruptor.
Inflation.

As we can see , bitcoin still around $ 6400++ which means people still interest on bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
For me personally, I hold bitcoin as long term investment so when red market occur, it's won't affect me at all , as long as I can control my emotion since for some people , it's difficult to handle but when people gain the experience, you will see the benefit of it !
