If Bitcoin can't handle 10% inflation a year, it's not worth it.

I stop trading from now on and put my coins in cold storage. There is no objective way to determine the price of bitcoin and without this I am not able to make rational decisions. With all the ongoing problems we have regarding exchanges there is strong evidence of insider trading, fraud and security weaknesses. All I know is that the market price is not matching the developement in the crypto space right now. Wether your bull or bear, be careful these days.

If you folks have any sense you'd pull all your coins off the exchanges 'cos someones running fractional reserve, over 10k dumped and no movement on days destroyed and only a couple of k's worth of dollar swaps pulled. No excuse for lack of transparency on exchanges, if others can run with transparency and user controlled wallets then what do they have to hide? If you're not asking that you're irresponsible with your coins and deserve to lose them. I'd suggest stopping trading on the first of every month and pulling coins to drive out the bad actors.

Second that.

Now calm down, ugly bears. As long as the price stays above 200 we're heading back up Up UP  Grin

928  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to the moon? on: January 28, 2015, 07:19:55 PM
haha no.  regardless of how much good news we get.  the cost to mine btc regulates the price they sell for.  at the moment hardware manufacturers are at an advantage and thus have a say in what btc price is.  and believe me they are making a killing.  if i can profit on mining currently then they can profit selling at even half of todays price.

Yeah, sure. That's the reason why the difficulty is going down.

Heute wieder eine Reduktion der Difficulty um ~6%. Der Preis dürfte nahe an den reinen Produktionskosten sein.

Please note! If Current daily candle will be shooting star - there is a high chance price will revisit $100

DOOM.
Yea but plenty of room for exit strategy as for now. I would not wait too long though since it is 6 am in China as we speak. To be continued...

China bought the fuck out of bitcoin last night.

Bärenmärkte enden oft mit einem finalen Abverkauf mit hohem Volumen. Das könnte der 13. Januar gewesen sein.
937  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 24, 2015, 12:35:41 PM

Get your shit together, guys. Bitcoin is inevitable.

An regulated US exchange means that chinese exchanges won't be able to manipulate the price down for longer.
Euro is bleeding out like a penny stock. 30k printed each second.
Wallstreet around the corner. ETF confirmed.
Currency war right in front of our eyes.

It's happening. More brutal and violent than you can imagine.
