921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Prometheus59 - a decentralized global blockchain-based supercomputer on: April 19, 2019, 09:42:47 PM
discord link not work

The link provided already expired, its probably set to 1 day invite link. Wait for the dev team to provide a new one. Or wait for someone to provide their own invite link.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Team also needs to pass KYC on: April 19, 2019, 08:53:33 PM
I agree that the project team must also confirm their identity, it will protect us from a large number of scams. Today, we can only judge a team if we study their profiles on Linkedin. But we can't really know if it's the same person. After passing KYC, developers will get more confidence from potential users and investors.

We have ICO bench to verify ICO owners identity while in the mastenode ecosystem we have KYD or know your developer as a KYC procedure. But its not enough to stop scammers from launching their project since ID's and Selfie Documents are available in the dark market and they can easily use those to verify their fake profiles.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: TOP suggestions for someone who's thinking of buying BTC? on: April 19, 2019, 08:51:14 PM
Although OP suggestions are not new but its important for crypto-currency holders or buyers. Without proper knowledge anyone can't be success on crypto-currency world. If someone think that bitcoin is quick rich method then he is wrong. Its true few people's earn lot during last bull run, but it doesn't mean that always you will be win. In order to gain you have wait and you should have enough patience. Who know when it will run? So before buy bitcoin we should learn as much as possible.

Yes, in cryptocurrency not everyone will be successful since, In the open trading market there's always a losers in the other side of the trading window, For every seller there's always a buyer that willing to take the risk in buying our BTC.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new look to KYC, from a customer's perspective. on: April 19, 2019, 08:05:44 PM
For me i have no problem for any Bounty program that required KYC, as long as it can not affect our personal identity but knowingly only. And of course in terms of payment after all are good and fair to everybody.

If you don't value your identity then you are free to undergo every KYC procedure ask by different ICO project just to get paid in their bounty programs. Soon your identity documents will end up in the dark web being passed around and sold like pancakes
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bull is in the Crypto Arena on: April 19, 2019, 08:03:38 PM
Just like the bear market caught investors off guard and was identified months into it, the same is likely of the bull market. It's possible we are already in the bull market, which will reward those who stomached the worst and stayed in the market.

Many people suffered enough during the year long bear market last 2018 and many people lose their investment from their numerous Altcoin investment. April 2019 has been very kind to all crypto supporters and now i believe that there's always a rainbow after the rain Cheesy
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gambling with BitcoinSV on: April 19, 2019, 08:00:27 PM
With a little searching, I think https://www.phun.io/ can be one of the gambling websites which is using bitcoin sv. I found another https://luckygames.io/?game=balls&coin=bchsv which you can visit to check it. I hope that website is what you are searching because I think it's hard to find a gambling website that using bitcoin sv as the bets. Or maybe I don't have good information to search.

If this de-listing continue from these reputable exchanges, i can't see the possibility of these gambling platform continue the acceptance of BitcoinSV. Also, this action will equally affect many other holders of the said coin and may lead to massive sell-off at the end if de-listing continue.

Exactly my thoughts.

A lot of exchanges right now is delisting BSV, so it might get a hard time to be introduced in most online gambling casino as mode of deposit.

So I guess everyone should doubt and not use this coin as the price might suffer due to this. Bitcoin is still the king even in gambling sites so it will continue to do despite the slower confirmations or even the high fees.

Binance delisting of BSV causes a domino effects for BSV market and soon all services including Casino platform will stop and cease to accept BSV as a of payment in their platform.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XME] MonerEOS - Fork 1:1 of Monero / 20:1 of EOS - Private cryptocurrency on: April 19, 2019, 07:28:36 PM
At this stage, the roadmap looks interesting, the main thing is for the developers to stick to this plan.

By the way, does anybody hold monero or EOS at the moment?

I actively use both of these coins. For the most part EOS,  there are many interesting projects on its basis.

Read the previous post, This is a SCAM project, a fake FORK project that is only made to steal private keys. There's nothing to see here but fake a website with fake promises.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GEMERA ~ ✅💎💠 The Only Crypto-Token Backed by Colombian Emeralds 💠💎✅ on: April 19, 2019, 07:26:39 PM
They will be victims of the bear in 2018, if they return the funds of investors. If not, then these are ordinary scammers.

I doubt they will return anything to investors, There's no fine print that they will refund investors if they didn't reach the softcap, typical scammers playbook in the ICO industry.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops really worth it? on: April 19, 2019, 07:07:29 PM
The last time i joined in airdrop i didnt get anything in return, cause the airdrop bounty is a scam.  Thats the time i quit in joining airdrops cause its only a waste of time.

Joining any airdrop projects is a big gamble for our time and effort and you should only joined one if you don't value your time Cheesy

Be picky on the airdrop opportunity that is being announce everyday, 99% of them are big scam and waste of time.
930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 95% fake volume :) on: April 19, 2019, 07:03:50 PM

Yobit, is very notorious in faking their volume and because of this they attract many investors in their platform, many exchanges are following this practice, it's actually an old practice and we don't know who among this exchanges are transparent in their volume.

They are the first exchange in my experience to see a massive volume inflation of exchange volume and the bad thing is they allow it to propagate to different coin project.

I just don't know today if they still allow such illicit practice on their exchange.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: April 19, 2019, 06:52:52 PM
There is no chance for ZCL to get listed on any top exchange now there was good enough reasons to believe or think this happening back in 2017. Now in its current situation with all what has happened with forks where it was used it is enough of this continues like this. Expecting Binance kind exchange is way too much.

Yes there's no way binance will take a second look with ZCL Listing,.. they already reach their prime and voila, The project reputation has been tarnished due to massive forking and as a pump & dump coin
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀[IEO PreSales][Bounty] PHARMEUM: Blockchain & AI Solution to Global Healthcare on: April 19, 2019, 06:49:26 PM
You need to create a separate bounty announcement thread for your bounty, airdrop and giveaways..

Your large format images are polluting your own thread and reading the important announcement on your ANN makes it difficult due to your images
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TokenRain [TNR] first cold masternode / easy to setup / no VPS needed on: April 19, 2019, 06:46:27 PM
A masternode inside Ethereum blockchain Cheesy Why not, is this the same as the smartcontract mining? or is the proof of stake smart contract?

Need more information about the project

Premined tokens amount and the total coin supply
Hi, TNR is different then smart contract mining or pos in smart contracts.

With TNR you just can send the Masternode collateral (10, 25 or 50k TNR) to your eth adress, after that you are ready to receive MN rewards.

7 millions tokens are already distributed, 3 million tokens are allocated for the MN payouts which will be distributed in the next 1-3 years (depends on how many MN are running on the network)

So do we still need to have some ETH in our wallet before we can receive the masternode rewards? Since its a smart contract someone needs to pay the gas and who will that be?

What will happen after 1-3 years when all rewards has been distributed?
934  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is possible to earn on HYIP? on: April 19, 2019, 06:43:57 PM
Can you give an example of a HYIP project that has been running for more than 3 months?

I made a blockchain game inspired by HYIPs. In spite of all logic, it's been going on for 3 months and a half.

https://snailking.gitXme.html

Best of all, you don't have to take my word for it. Unlike centralized websites, you can just look at the smart contract for proof: https://etherscan.io/address/0x119XA6B587655

Contract deployment transaction, 109 days ago as of this writing: https://etherscan.io/tx/0xeb880c9d57a125X25a014b756f612705b29c0

By definition, HYIPs can only run for as long as new money streams in. With centralized HYIPs, best case scenario you come in early and make a little bit. Worse case scenario, admins run with the funds.

Decentralized doesn't inherently make it better - lots of scams on Tron, for example, because people don't look at the code and blindly trust websites changing functions. But with due diligence, smart contract HYIPs will play exactly as designed. Wink

No matter what kind of flavor you add on your HYIP, Its still the same ponzi business model and sooner or later you will stop paying and running away with investors money.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 19, 2019, 02:17:03 PM
Exactly, with bunches of channels that managers can use to screen all potential bounty cheaters.
From bitcointalk account, to facebook, twitter, telegram, and Discord. I don't think that all bounty cheaters already have all set of accounts on those channels for each of their bitcointalk account in order to cheat bounties. So, if they use same accounts (such as Telegram, or Twitter) they will be discovered (by bounty managers or by forum community). Then, at the end, they all will be found, and punished (with nuked or red tags). KYC requirements for bounties are unneccessary, in my opinion.

Not all bounty managers are keen on finding cheaters and abusers, Sometimes they only rely on the community effort in exposing the cheaters and sometimes bounty managers themselves own hundreds of farm accounts that he will use to abuse the campaign the they manage.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PoW/PoS/MN][GPU ONLY]Project SONO - New listing vote for new projects! on: April 19, 2019, 02:13:11 PM
What's next with SONOX Exchange? Do you guys applied in alternative coin directory listing like coingecko, livecoinwatch?

How about Blockfolio? How was the progress so far in terms of marketing the exchange platform?
SONO project came back after its crash due to rebrand issues and technical things behind. Eventually, they came back months ago and concurrently developed multi-sub-projects inside SONO, including SONOx, SONO pool, and more things. Congrats and wish all best for future growth of SONO platforms.

Yes i have been following their project from the start even before they been called as Sonox,

Altcommunity coin was a great project during its time in year 2017.

939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC Requirement for Bounty Managers before they require KYC to bounty hunters. on: April 19, 2019, 01:42:31 PM
I don't like the KYC actually. However, I would also like to congratulate the managers who tell the that KYC is required at the beginning of the bounty. Because i think, it is a very helpfull to learn at this information the very beginning. And I join the the bounty campaigns which the want KYC of the managers which i trust. Because I don't think a project that those managers trust will distribute my id information.

Yes, A responsible Bounty Manager announce KYC requirements for all participants before starting the campaign and this should be the standard for all bounty managers so less surprises when it comes to bounty payments distributions.
940  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 19, 2019, 01:10:12 PM
2017 was definitely the year for bitcoin, there was an over hype and a lot of people did not want to miss out causing that momentous event of reaching the ATH. This year, however, bitcoin has a more calm and stable market behavior. Heck, what do I know, I mean bitcoin price is highly speculative and no one could ever foresee what the future holds for us. One thing's for sure though, more holders simply mean higher value, so, it's HODL time me until we reach another ATH.

HYPE and the promised of great riches, Many first timer or newbies in crypto's bought bitcoin with a profit in mind thinking that they can easily double their money in a short time. The same people cause the big downfall of bitcoin when they experience the first bloodbath in 2018 and they starting to sell at loss, bringing bitcoin price to its knees.
