921  Economy / Economics / Re: US Dollar Efect on the world and Crypto on: October 24, 2018, 10:55:17 AM
Dollar create a big impact for the world economic and it hit hard several countries when the dollar got big movement, but it wont do any direct damage to the crypto, because crypto and fiat market are different, but it will impact on the ability of people to buy and sell crypto, as far as I know the movement of dollar either is big or small not yet got big impact for crypto
922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Treat trading as your job on: October 24, 2018, 08:06:28 AM
There are several ways to make profit from trading, but for sure you need to learn the basic and there is some misconception that mention trading could make people rich easily, but in reality people had difficulty to make profit, one of the way to earn profit is to hold the coin and sell it at right moment, to used this strategy the person need to see the potential and the possibility to go big, teading need a lot of dedication and experience, so its not an easy process to earn from trading
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need a bullrun? on: October 24, 2018, 02:04:46 AM
The bull run is not only about profit, but it is also one of the indicator show that there are still many investors put their fund in crypto, bull run also mean that the crypto still in healthy condition with a lot of transaction volume, I understand how people see the volatility become obstacle for daily usage, maybe with huge adoption the volatility could be surpress, the balance between demand and supply could make the price more stable
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Electricity: Threat or Blessings on: October 23, 2018, 11:02:35 PM
Bitcoin mining used electricity and by doing mining we used more electricity, but there are more activity that used more electricity, and we can used another electricity source to mine bitcoin, so I don't see how bitcoin mining could jeopardise the environment, everything in this world uswd electricity and the factory used more electricity than bitcoin mining, the bank also used more electricity than bitcoin, so I don't see this as problem
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: December is coming no real growth for alts yet... on: October 23, 2018, 09:13:50 AM
There are some sense in your thread, but it depends on the situation that make the bull run, if the one that makes the bull run because of more people invest then no need to be afraid that 2019 will be start with gloomy price, but the problem now there is still no sign of bull coming, even with positive news and rumours, the market still in gloomy place, we need boost not just pump and dump
926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Adaptation for profit. on: October 23, 2018, 05:27:05 AM
I think optimistic is good but it will be better if we can attract new investors, and we need a lot of publicity, seminar and other to increase the positive reputation, and I don't see the price will be near with last year price, but the potential to earn still good despite the bad market situation, and we need to keep on adapting and find new way to make profit
927  Economy / Economics / Re: Would blockchain technologies continue Its development without cryptocurrency? on: October 23, 2018, 03:03:48 AM
Yes the blockchain could grow without crypto, now blockchain already gain popularity and the usage of blockchain not only rely on crypto but there are so many sectors in real life that ready to implemented blockchain, blockchain could create a transparent transaction that could solve many dispute problem
928  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price will a coin die? on: October 22, 2018, 11:07:53 PM
The one that makes the exchanges delist is not the price but the transaction volume, if the transaction volume is low for a certain period of time then the exchange will delist it, and there is no standard price for a coin to survive, but usually when it reach 1 satoshi and the buy order is low then the coin is no longer got value
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many Blockchain conferences! on: October 22, 2018, 09:52:18 AM
I think the conference got the bright side, I agree that most of the conferences only want to advertise and lure investors in their project but not all of them are focus on the project some of them really gives the knowledge of blockchain and how it may be used for the future, I think we can get a lot of knowledge of lesson by joining multiple conference and not all the project in the conferences are bad
930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you're ~15% in the red, is it crazy to sell? on: October 22, 2018, 07:43:29 AM
I will say this will depend on the coin that you hold, the important thing is the ability to bounce back and go higher, and it also depend on your financial condition, but now most of the coin got a big drop, so its not a proper time to sell, I suggest to hold a bit longer, but keep on pay attention on the market
931  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency. on: October 22, 2018, 05:29:35 AM
Its great to hear the news, I always very appreciate countries that want to try to adopted crypto, if the economic condition of each country is different, by trying to implemented a new thing then it will open new door to a better economic, and there are so many user in  Philippines that maybe could attract more user , so I think this is a very important thing for the citizen and crypto
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia, the second largest crypto adopter without legality. on: October 22, 2018, 01:08:48 AM
I believe crypto could be making people's life become better, especially in developing countries, bitcoin ever make a huge publicity, the President and the Minister ever mention about crypto, the unemployment rate in Indonesia is quite high and we know how crypto could be the source of income, so crypto are pretty popular in Indonesia
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Be Careful with ICOs on: October 21, 2018, 09:18:45 AM
Or why not just stop investing to ICOs and just go with the normal tokens / coins that are already listed on exchanges?

Doing research is still good enough to know if the ICO is a scam or not that will give you strength on what to avoid.

Well sometimes there are better profit in ICO rather than in normal coin, I know that ICO bear a great risk but some of my friends made huge profit from ICO, but need to keep in mind that most ICO are dangerous, it can be scam or it can be a failure project, and sometime it got no value after being launched, there are numerous of extra factors that need to be search before investing in ICO, if you just beginner then I don't suggest ICO, never listen to people when they asked you to invest in ICO, always do your own research
934  Economy / Economics / Re: current situation of cryptocurrency for 2018 on: October 21, 2018, 03:11:02 AM
I think crypto is doing perfectly fine if we see from the yearly chart we can see that bitcoin price going higher from yaerbto year before the hype, there are some reasons that make crypto price keep on declining, one of the reason is the legality, after a huge rising in 2017 many countries give a warning about the crypto investment is a dangerous investment, and the economic expert also mention that bitcoin is a bubble that ready to burst, it create fears among the investors and bitcoin price is stagnant until now
935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Downside of Bitcoin's Anonymity on: October 21, 2018, 02:05:45 AM
Well the hacking incidents really make bitcoin reputation go red, alot of people become misunderstood bitcoin after it keep on being used for bad things, but it is not bitcoin fault at all, the regulation won't stop hacker from doing their things, even fiat that centralised still being used for ransom, bitcoin is not completely anonymous, but its harder to track compare to fiat
936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In this trading battle which side are you? on: October 20, 2018, 10:56:56 AM
Well I got a good reason to say that the bear is going to continue, a lot of great and positive news, add with some green movement still unable to make bitcoin through the resistance level, infact after going up the dropping is so quick and some even touching the support area, so I think the bear is still going to hang around for longer time, we need some big news and breakthrough to make bitcoin out from bear market
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To invest in an ICO, Reviewing of the team behind is necessary? on: October 20, 2018, 05:41:09 AM
Of course you need to know the developers behind the project, it is one of the most important factor that can make us know whether its a scam or not, or even maybe whether they are professional or not, if the developers hide behind the project then most likely its a scam, if they really legit and want to make a good quality coin, then there should be no reson to hide the identity
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin and FIAT co-exist? What will be the advantages then? on: October 20, 2018, 12:56:24 AM
I think fiat and crypto are co exist now, and actually both of them are a good collaboration, I can see that there are so many people got the advantage from the economic side and the quality of their lives become better, the more choices in transaction make the transaction become easier, but for now the government still do the research to balance the power between fiat and crypto, I believe in the future we can see the cooperation between fiat and crypto to create a better life
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: October 19, 2018, 11:02:57 PM
There are many times I did that kind of bet, the most common one is playing sport, either its badminton or futsal, usually there will be a pot and winner takes all, its not much but it increase the fun and the seriousness of playing the game and back when I was in high school we like to play coin toss and the winner win the coin, I played a lot of this mini bet for fun and I seldom won, so it can be said that I am losing money from this mini bet
940  Economy / Economics / Re: Transferring of wealth from the impatient to the patient! on: October 19, 2018, 09:32:21 AM
I agree that you need huge patience with crypto, crypto just start to grow so we can't expect something big could happen in instance, the growth also not that stable uet, but I do see a lot of potential and easiness that crypto could provide if its being mass adopted, and now we are in the process of fighting with regulation, if we can cope or win with the regulation then we can see huge rising of crypto value
