921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many of you believe in Satoshi? If not, please tell me why. on: August 31, 2017, 07:37:28 AM

That's why Gavin left, Mike Hearn quit, Coinbase walked away.

Personally, I have the feeling that I have the obligation to realize the prediction of Satoshi. But,

I understand many of you came into Bitcoin only for quick money or some magical ideas. I totally understand many of you, like Maxwell and Theymos, had your own idea and never believed any words Satoshi said.

I also understand many of you have no clue about Bitcoin, and what formed your opinion was coming from the censored sub.

But, if you ever spent time reading Satoshi's words, could you do me a favor and tell me why you saw Satoshi's vision as nothing but shit?

Thank you in advance.]

Update: I hope @Theymos can tell me his opinion. In my opinion, Satoshi was great enough that he wouldn't leave this forum --- such important resource --- to a person who would betray his vision later without any resonable explanation. Although I see Theymos as Bitcoin Judas, but at least please tell me why he changed his mind. Or he saw Satoshi's vision as shit from the beginning?

It's very clear in Satoshi's vision: 1st layer for the internet of money, 2nd layer for other complicated application such as smart contract.

I still believe in satoshi, well i'm hoping because i have been visiting the faucet now for a while and starting to gain and build my satoshis. It's taking too long but i'm hoping that it's worth the wait. And i could not just hope anymore but belive and trust satoshi.
I really don't know why people are so fixed about Satoshi. Let’s leave him alone. The buddy does not want to be a celebrity so let it be this way. Why disturbing anyone against his will? According to NSA, Wright is Satoshi and now there are many myths about him. Just stop dragging this topic. Really, it's useless.
922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: August 31, 2017, 06:44:35 AM
There is no final answer when it comes to what you called "risk" it depends on what happening on bitcoin. Here is my answer. It''s good to invset with bitcoin it''s po Sible for bitcoin to reach 10,000 usd in 1-3 years (based on what I'm seeing) but, in every investment there would ba a lot of risk.
As far as Asian countries are supporting it, the prices will keep on rising and the good news is the rate of it's usage is gradually increasing. The present value of Bitcoins is 4575 dollars. Now if you remember its value which was two days ago, you will able to see how much risk it involves.
923  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: August 30, 2017, 02:43:50 PM
For true devotees of Bitcoin, the price of the digital currency is almost irrelevant. They believe in its inherent value or, more frequently, cannot see any value at all in the alternative of government issued fiat currency. Price is therefore not a concern. At the other end of the spectrum, for those that harbor what appears to be an irrational hatred of Bitcoin and anything to do with it, the exchange rate also matters little. They were screaming that it was all worthless when the price was at over $1000, and somehow convince themselves that an exchange rate of over 200 times what it was before that bubble proves their point. For the vast majority of people somewhere in the middle, however, the price of the currency in Dollar, Euro, Yuan or whatever terms is important.

The price of the bitcoin is really important. The price of the bitcoin serves the most good quality of it. The reason why many investors want bitcoin is the value and the price. It is really true that the price is really matter.
Surely it is. Why the investors throughout the world are just leaving the conventional businesses and turning over to bitcoins. Reason is more money it yields. Bitcoin have been blessed for making it happen and if it is, then so sure we can say price of bitcoin matters.
924  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: August 30, 2017, 02:13:44 PM
i think so risky if you Holding bitcoin a long time  , may be just 3-6 Month it's good . but , if you already got cheap or profit you should sell your bitcoin , and waiting dump again .

There are many articles around bitcoin price would reach up to 5k / 10k in longer run. Even we have seen in last few months it has been double. I believe keep it for longer run it will give much more higher return.
I believe it too. Bitcoin has been an amazing pump in August and now still it is going up and up. Now holder will be having so much profit and I suggest to hold it more for a few months. Price charts are going up and so your profit. Just examine continuously the market and just hit when you hold much profit.
925  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: August 30, 2017, 01:42:00 PM
No, I don't see trading as fun and and games. Instead, trading is a serious thing that I need focus in it to gain more of bitcon. Due to most of the coin in trading can give you profit, depending in the coins you are going to trade in. Just make sure the coins is potentials and the platform also a good exchange site too.
You are right, trading is not as fun as some of people think it is. It is quite serious thing that can change your life. Your seriousness towards the trading will determine the future you will be having it can be worse, or a happy life either. So choose the right coins, be serious with it or I suggest don’t do if you are not.
926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: August 30, 2017, 01:08:12 PM
I think many Establishments now accepts btc as a payment method. In our country here at Philippines Coins.ph is the one leading in bitcoin payments gateway like, prepaid load, water and electricity, game credits, insurances, or just buy online using your bitcoins. So bitcoin now here at our country has many users and investors.
The Bitcoin acceptance has different percentage in different countries, depending upon the nation and government. Unlike Philipines, people here haven't still woke up from their dreams. I don't know when will they get up from their slumbers. Unfortunatelt, I cannot use BTCs for daily stuff.
927  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: August 30, 2017, 12:29:12 PM
I believe that bitcoin is still growing and will continue to increase in value in the coming years. Only 1% of the world's population knows about bitcoin, imagine if most of the people become aware of this type of currency. What I'm saying is there's so much potential for growth in bitcoin and other crytocurrencies that it is premature thinking of cashing out.
I do not know the exact percent of population which is aware of Bitcoins but I am sure it would be at least more than one percent and it is rapidly increasing. Nevertheless, the price will tend to rise with time and it is not a wise deed to cash out BTCs unless there is some essential need.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on Bitcoin on: August 30, 2017, 11:52:08 AM
What Bill Gates says is true, bitcoin has added value, especially in terms of Online transactions, I hope everyone can use it, I am sure Bitcoin can be the World Currency, I really hope once in this case, so that in the world even Bitcoin can be used like The currency we use today. Smiley

If what you’re expecting is to see a virtual currency become a world currency, then you’re totally wasting your time. If it’s possible, that would have happened a long time ago before SN even came up with the idea of Bitcoin.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: August 27, 2017, 08:35:43 PM
hodl and forget

Bitcoin price is already at 4k usd each. It's okey to hold it, but it will so hard to forget it! This method will be good to use with altcoins that has very cheap value nowadays.
Once the bitcoin would be accepted worldwide, travelling will become the easiest task. No need to worry about all the hectic conversions from one local currency into another and paying extra charges. It actually increases our expenses. We would be able to skip the pain of all tedious work. I actually plan to travel many countries.
930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your dog for 100,000 usd in btc ? on: August 23, 2017, 09:35:50 PM
Lol most of times, no! I would never ever sell dog or any living being for money.

Although sometimes I would but only after making sure that the person I am selling to will take good care of it ☺
I don't keep pets but If I would have the chance, then I think everyone can tell the answer beforehand. I would have sold it out without any hesitation but obviously it won’t be to anyone. I would make sure the new caretaker is far better than me and my dog will be safe there.

932  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Community for Investors on: July 31, 2017, 07:49:31 PM
houdini is something to be scared of. As you named yourself after the famous magician who could vanish in thin air in front of thousands, I am fearing you will be doing the same thing after getting the members and convincing them to invest somewhere.

Would be best if you can introduce yourself and the magic behind your so called community so that we can see your credibility first and follow you.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum Trading also stop on August 1? on: July 31, 2017, 06:16:54 AM
Will ETH also stop trading this JULY 31st to August 1 UTC in exchanger sites? and will USDT be affected in this BTC update?
I remember many people recommends ETH trading as it is slightly less effective than bitcoin, But we cannot say that it can be stop it will continue and in future Eth  trading is known as best own but now it is the era of bitcoin so get it more and more invest whatever you have.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum to moon(400) during BTC update on Aug 1 on: July 31, 2017, 04:23:54 AM
as the the SEC implemented securities on any ethereum-based transactions, there might be a tendency for a ethereum to the moon. although there might be a government intervention but it is also a good benefit for an investor/ trader who are into cryptocurrency business to regulate any scam-prone transaction.

They say the ETH has shown no fear despite SEC clamping on them.

The SEC warnings on DAO and ICO tokens have produced relief in the cryptocurrency industry, Ethereum (ETH) staying steady.

As a report and accompanying press release, Tuesday stated that DAO tokens “were securities,” those hoping for clarity on the status of ICOs found that securities laws “may” apply to them

I think the price of ETH will really show a declined in the coming weeks because of this news.

Can you share link to the sec breaking news?
Well, I think there is no use of asking the link. Many other have been talking about the downfall in the value of eth in the end days of July. I personally don’t think eth has to do anything with the increase in bitcoins’ values. Bitcoins are definitely going to pump damn high in the coming weeks. Those who really want a ride to moon should grab bitcoins.
935  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: July 30, 2017, 09:56:50 PM
Now is the one of the best time for trading but trading is really risky and so can be profitable, if you do your best in the market now, you can reap a big profit.
Yes, you are right, it is the best time to start trading, It seem little bit risky but as the time passed the value of bitcoin keep increasing and a time will come when people just need to buy bitcoins and sell at their dream price. That is what we all wanted and hope it will start now.
936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: July 30, 2017, 08:23:07 PM
You should buy or not depending if you are a long term holder or not. IMO is too risked wait and see what happens before buy.
How it is risk I mean I’m not getting I need some proper knowledge to know that I would like to say that I would definitely wait for your reply or if you are not replying so I would should need to go for Google because it would be more helpful but people are having experience so getting from to know from them we should wait for these type of reply.
937  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open a Bitcoin hosting company on: July 30, 2017, 06:42:21 PM
Do you mean to say a hosting company accepting bitcoins for websites or hosting for cloud mining? Or what you want is set up a mining farm ?

The first option is easy as you can buy reseller hosting and sell them accepting bitcoins. For the second and third option, you have to invest more on advertising than your infrastructure to sell your service.
938  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for Developers/exchange/wallet on: July 30, 2017, 05:58:19 PM
Hi

I am looking for a team of developers to develope an Exchange and a Coin. Our office will be located in Barcelona,Spain.Interested people please send a pm.

Thank yu.
You need to provide more details about your coin first. Building an exchange with prevalent crypto currency is something different and creating a new coin is something different. If you can provide more details about what this coin will be and the features which will make it a distinct coin, it will be helpful for developers to provide you a quote.
939  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: July 30, 2017, 05:19:05 PM
In near future paper money cannot be disturbed by bitcoin, because mostly business are running through paper money and bitcoin is more recognized/legalized by the countries across the world that bitcoin may be considered a threat for paper money. After eras it may be happened that bitcoin effect on paper money, but all these views are just assumptions and imaginations.
940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 30, 2017, 06:13:30 AM
Bitcoin could have been your way to be rich in a short time period.
It's not really instant, but if you had bought $10 in bitcoins in 2009 and sell it now you would been a millionaire.
At this moment it's impossible to get instant rich by Bitcoin.
Only possible with an expensive investment and a lot of luck.

If you can catch a waves between $1700 and $2800, of course it's the way to get rich fast. This is not so common. It usually requires more time to create a wealth with bitcoin.
I'm just excited for those who has bought bitcoin in a cheap price as it is came to $1800 they are very lucky now they will enjoy the power of bitcoin that how much it has change their lives. I mean I would love to consider myself as well because I have bought a bitcoin in a cheap price even I got around 1 to 2 bitcoin now it is 5x more than my income.
