We were due to be on the expo today, booth 401, we were going to demo our 2.4's, but in light of this news we felt its best to go to Toronto instead.

This sentence doesn't make sense. It might be missing a "not". Or is that where Josh was driving last night?

correction

Regarding this suit.

First, we have not been served or sent any documents/legal papers, or formal notices of suit. Currently the plaintiffs legal team, but mostly Mr. Lenell has been calling around trying their hardest (again we believe mostly Craig Lenell) to get any media to publish this and credit this as legitimate, but more over the soul purpose is to notify AMT customers and ask them to get involved on their side, to accumulate the damages in question so hopefully they can win more from us. If enough people join, and the damages are enough to cover the potential winnings, we will be served.

If you'd like to join the class, please contact the legal team here: http://www.chimicles.com/

There are a few outcomes that will come of this civil lawsuit:

1. The plaintiffs win, and force the company into bankruptcy.
2. The plaintiffs loose, or the case is dismissed fairly quickly.
3. The case is tried for a long time, costing thousands in legal fees on both sides ( which the majority of the class will not contribute to ) by which time everyone's miner will already be delivered.

4. (most probable)  Mr. Lenell will annoy and harass the crap out of everyone involved, overstep his welcome and eventually piss people off until they are fed up with him and quit. <- this one we know from experience.

Are we worried? Sure we are, we've given our hearts and best efforts to this business.

Are we going to drop everything, stop building/shipping miners and dedicate our time to lawyers and this case like Mr. Lenell has. No we wont, its not our style. We have a job to do, and we're going to finish it one way or another, period. We were due to be on the expo today, booth 401, we were going to demo our 2.4's, but in light of this news we felt its best to go to Toronto instead.

You broke my hart Joshua  Grin Grin
Do not give up guys you have lost your money already. The only thing to fight for is justice and your dignity!

Some of us had been wondering when we would get updates since things seem close. I know I am still waiting for a tracking number I was supposed to get in "a few days". It seems it would be the right thing to do to update those customers directly instead of invest time into addressing people who have no stake in this. All it does is make them want to respond. They may anyway. Just respond to the customers. Might make things go alot smoother. Look past the spam.
Do not you think they have nothing to say to you and their patient customers? Let me put it another way they do it on purpose not updating you
I totally agree with you on this matter but behind every AMT action there is a good reason believe me Wink
It is easier to fight with us trolls and silently mine while you are waiting for your miners or tracking numbers or whatever you are waiting for

924  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 08, 2014, 10:43:41 AM
It seems that amt miner is totally ignoring my post and emails again
About getting a refund
You'd better join class action dude
And all of you who fell happy and satisfied AMT customers;D

Bye Bye AMT frauds. Sorry people, they never had any intent to ship everyone a miner.
They will because they do not have the balls to go to the end. But they will do whatever it takes to postpone the shipping as long as they can. And  to mine every electron out of their crap Grin
926  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Got my HEX8A1 130GH/s today :) on: April 07, 2014, 06:38:13 PM
Hello together

First of all, I would like to thank Technobit and Martin for shipping my Hex8A1 130 promptly as promised on their website (JBAWWKAVT).
I had no difficulties to install and run the Hex8A1 on a Windows 7 system with cgminer 4.0 (already running a few Bitburner Fury on separate instances of cgminer - yes, I'm a little noob thats why I use a Windows system Roll Eyes ).

Still testing with a Corsair CX600 as dedicated PSU and some settings in cgminer. Actually using 4:263 at 1000mV and the hashrate is about 126 GH/s with +/- 6% HW errors after >100'000 shares.

edit: meanwhile testing with 8:250 at 950mV and getting around 130GH/s with no - zero - HW errors at 50'000 hashed shares Shocked Smiley

Remembering the negative statements about Technobit in other postings I have to say that my personal experience was good. This was my first order at Technobit, everything worked fine and I also got answers on my questions.
I've just ordered a HEX8A1 260 GH/s miner in the hope everything is working fine again  Smiley

Best regards - and also many thanks to the helpful users here like Zich and the others for their postings.

Michael

(sorry, my english skills are not the best)

Congrats dude Wink
If you feel brave you need more juice above 260 something like 1050. This will reduce hw errors but the chance for magic smoke to come out of the bottle is increasing
But as said this is for brave soles only

And you as paing customer are happy and calm because I all is going as promised?
ISAWHIM do you real are that under control means that you will not be able to pay for electricity before you got your miner?
I fell sory for you dude really. Probably I am the one who does not understand your away of thinking. But what I do understand that some how AMT are making you look like complete jerks convincing you and  bulshiting you since the beginning

I run scrypt miners that consume the same power, and operate making less money. I pay for electricity just fine with my earnings. How do you think I got the money to buy this miner? Mining scrypt-coins all summer for what appeared to be little gains. I am sure I will manage with my 1.5THs miner, mining all the low-diff alts, which will force the prices up on them, as I consume coins and hold them for a later date, again.

When BTC hits $6000, soon, electricity will be the last thing on my mind. (Again, I do not mine BTC directly, that is just stupid. The diff is too high. lol. Why mine BTC when you can make 1000% more mining other coins. Could have made AMT a nice penny doing that too. Another opportunity for them to gain, lost.)
Then you can wait two or three months I think that is what amt will do
Really I can not understand you but it does not matter at all.
933  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 06, 2014, 07:28:32 PM
Interesting... I placed my order on December 5th (#899) and was told my delivery would be in February. Interesting you placed an order after mine but was told a shipping date prior to mine....

Regardless, no PM, email, phone calls, or anything updating me on status.

Not 100% sure, but I think you also paid more than we did too... The price dropped about $500, I think, by the time I placed my order. Then it dropped another $500 after I placed my order. Roughly that much, I believe. So, the order I am getting now, is the same as the guy who paid $500 less then me, and $1000 less than you?

The website said, it would ship in 4-6 weeks, as well as the reassuring post in the forums. Quote is still there, "All 1.2Th/s miners will ship in 6 weeks or less." If we ordered it before the 14th of Dec. That was after the news from Bitmine.ch, about the chips "now shipping". (Just before the storms, which delayed the delivery until Feb.)

I have no idea what time-frame they offered to those customers, prior to those dates. I imagine sales were stalling, so with the news, they promised earlier deliveries, to get more sales before the holidays.
And you as paing customer are happy and calm because A ll is going as promised?

Phinnaeus,
Was that your post showing AMT btc address making 25 btc per day?
My memory is short but I am sure I saw some post with such info
10x

I'm not the one that posted it, but did quote it a couple times. The last time I did such, I research that address some more (if it's the same one your asking about), and learnt that others on this thread refuted the claim, ergo it wasn't AMT's bitcoin wallet address.

We might get lucky and see if there's any nodes around Haverford, PA, that's contributing to the network.

Apologies.

Can you be so kind to post a link here to refresh boys memory?
Probably I am the only one who owns amt money but this is different story Grin Grin
In general I have a proof that they a pathetic and they lied all the times

I had something weird happen with the new 0_3_1 software and the Hex8A1. I've only been using it a few days.

Lost internet, after router rebooted, the Hex16B went back to mining, but the Hex8A1 flashed red/green. They were using as much power, maybe 20W more actually, but no mining effort was appearing at the pool. I SSH into the TP-Link and it's running 85% load instead of the 30% it normally runs.

After I rebooted everything it's back to normal.

Did you check memory of tplink?
Free ?
High constant CPU usage indicates a thread lock
Most probably get_work was not awaken for some reason
If you are curious you can build cgminer with LOCK_TRacking enabled miner.h
And see lock stats output cgminer-api lockstats and check contents of /tmp/cglock file and post that here when something wired happens again
Check if corn is enabled on tplink also
It should reboot cgminer when it is not submitting work to the pool for some reason every 5 mins or so

938  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 06, 2014, 04:48:23 PM
To put this reply in perspective, the mortgages weren't taken out to start/finance AMT, but rather taken out quite recently to keep AMT afloat per Joshua Zipkin's own words.

So, they're bankrupt? They spent all the pre-order funds, and more, and still haven't produced the miners that were sold. That means they're selling every miner at a loss. Not a very good business plan.
It is
They are mining at full speed while you are waiting...
Sad but true
The other point is that AMT have lost a ton of money because their stupidity and engineering   skills Grin The could made it at last three months ago and mine up to know.
They have lost a lot of mining income. But because they are greedy they will mine just a couple of monts before delivering the crap Grin
I am wandering how much time is needed for official scammer tag Grin Grin
939  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT.5 on: April 06, 2014, 01:28:44 PM
I''ve been quiet because AMT said they are shipping my miner next week. This miner better mine like the wind is all I have to say.I ordered the full miner and I am expecting one that has power supply, LCD etc. If it doesn't mine properly I will return it for cash or smash it for some bitcoin donations Smiley

Well Casey did get it to mine and it worked for him. He even got it to go after some help from the people here to work at 1.5THs which is supposed to be turbo really. As far as we know this is the first second real miner we have in the wild. Casey I believe because of what he has contributed to the forum in the past (mainly taking his time to go to check out AMT's facilities and video for those who don't know). I think its a fair assumption they will work based on the information out there. Mblackout also has a miner and has reported it to be working. So I'm inclined to expect the same.

I think all said and done despite the delays and initial communication issues they really are trying to do right by their customers now. Well at least in terms of shipping product. Can't speak for the refund crowd. Taking things as I see them here vs what they were a month ago.
1.5T for 5 modules 40 chips is impossible. If that is the Casy report consider it as a PURE lie
If 1.5T is reported for 6 modules 48 chips that is doable. The questions to ask AMT and Casey
1. AMT when yo gona deliver Grin
2. AMT when you gona stop with continuous lies Grin
3. Casey 1.5T result is from 5 or 6 modules
4 Casy if it is a six modules result can you tell how much power is drawn in/at the wall
5 Casy can you tell us how much you have spent for psu and cooling to make it work Grin
6 Amt are you going to ship 6 modules or any thing at all in near feature Grin
940  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: April 06, 2014, 05:40:41 AM
If you have been keeping up, you should easily recall that Josh stated that he and one the partners of AMT, namely, Jim Brown, both mortgaged their homes to JUST bring AMT to this stage, i.e. get all the miners ordered to date out da door.

Don't tell me you actually believe they took out mortgages just for these products.

Yes, we were that dumb.
And who cares if that is true at all Grin
