So... dev was  Last Active:August 19, 2014, 11:29:19 PM

More than two weeks no activity, is that mean that this coin is abandoned?

Or this coin is made just for mining with no further purpose?

What about merged mining with UNO, is there any pool operator that can setup that?

I have sent pm to dev on August 19 with proposal to make website but until today I did not receive any answer.

As for any coin community is basis, so how can we grow community when there is no word or cooperation from dev?
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Parallelcoin | SHA256 + Scrypt | Multialgo | Bittrex! on: September 01, 2014, 05:57:19 PM
Where is the dev? Two weeks no words  Undecided
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Acoin - SHA-256 - New Currency with Random Rewards and Quick Blocktimes on: September 01, 2014, 01:05:01 PM
Why should dev do a POD? Did Bitcoin, Litecoin or Peercoin do a POD?

Did not, but in this moment when in just one day come out more than ten coins developers anonymity makes total anarchy on the scene.

How much is there coins that are made by developers which made them just for taking BTC from people, or developers who do not have skills, or just kids which on the first problem get away.

There must be some rules to protect people or we are just gambling with all of this and believe any newbie account that came whit first post promoting new coin.

Take a look on XDE
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736702.0
XDE start, mined, turned to POS, network has problem but developer has vanished. That is just one example and there are much more.

I do not say that this coin developer is person like that, but just that we need some kind of proof of his true intention.

Hi all,

I must agree that PoD is first thing developer should do if he/she is not recognized by community.

My wallet is showing 8307 and 10 connections but not staking, out of sync, last block received 12h ago.

So.. wallet is working but network is slow?
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XDE] DoubleEagle X15 - Only 100 - MANDATORY UPDATE! PoS FIX! on: August 28, 2014, 01:47:42 PM
So this is getting more strange...
After few days of not staking (last transactions from staking on 23.8 which are not yet confirmed ) I see today that my wallet has synced (block 8303) and it have two transaction from today (28.Cool , also there are 11 connections.
All of my coins are still in stake but wallet still say that it is not staking because there are no mature coins.
Does anyone know why this is happening?  Huh
Is this have to do something with the number of wallets that are in the network?

Is there working block explorer?

This is situation is really stupid.
First I do not get dev or devs, is there any problem that he/they can not solve or is it just a kid which mother forbid him/her to use pc few days.
I can not believe that his plan was to just dump small amount of coins for small price and than run away.
If there is some problem which the dev is not able to solve he should ask for help here, from community.

As I see MartinF was "Last Active:   August 25, 2014, 08:40:07 PM" so he must be aware about this situation but do not have plan to answer any of questions that community have, or just to say something.

About hard fork and halving amount of coins that we own I do not think it is good.
Why should we do that and why is that needed? We have coins that we have, mining period is over, it is on exchange, we just need working wallet and marketing.

How do you know that address with 13XDE is dev's?

Is there anyone here who can say what is the problem with the wallet?  Huh

conspiracy theory
So.. someone make rare coin, promote it, give 20% to the people, 80% people mine few days to think it is fair, coin get to exchange, people that get coin from the giveaway sell it cheap, than miners in panic sell it also cheap, pseudo dev buy almost all coins at cheap price, release new wallet which work 3 days than lock coins, coins that are not on exchange are locked in wallets by purpose, so than price pump on exchange can be easy done with small coin supply, and finally sell coins 100X price.
reality could be stranger than our theories Wink

Last received block was generated 18 hours ago...
really? not a good sign Sad
seems will become dead coin if no one open their wallet to stake

There are connections in wallet but it is not staking more than 3 days, something is not good here, now for sure.

My coins are in stake but wallet says that it is not staking because there are no mature coins, though those coins are mature and did some stake until three days ago.

We need some word from dev or takeover.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Parallelcoin | SHA256 + Scrypt | Multialgo | Bittrex! on: August 26, 2014, 07:38:02 AM
There's some good minds behind DUO. I've read that merged mining DUO is a possibility with some other coins, including UNO. That will really pickup interest in DUO and make it very profitable to mine. I'm very interested in watching that come together.

Interesting Smiley

Remaining 53 blocks. In my opinion the price should grow into the 11 BTC per coin.
42coin price was ~ 1200 BTC per coin few months ago Smiley
So 400-500 BTC coin, should be fine  Cool

P.S.
It's joke, ofc. Don't troll Cheesy

Buy 1 XDE for 0.23BTC now and than sell it later for 500 BTC!

Good joke Cheesy

... but who knows Wink

So bitcoin is a ponzi scheme as many said last years..

Soon as I get to this point I discount all you say.....people learn what a ponzi scheme (most misused term on this forum) actually is (2 minute friggin wiki search) before mouthing off that you know something  Roll Eyes

sorry one of my pet hates  Grin

Sorry I forgot "?" at the end of that sentence Smiley

That was the question and the point was that people judge something without understanding it.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ban Newbie Devs on: June 08, 2014, 09:45:23 AM
If we ban or forbid anything new than all of this has no meaning!
So bitcoin is a ponzi scheme as many said last years... or people just need to use they brains and invest their money more carefully.

Why we see everyday few new coins?
As I said year ago, cryptocurrencies is developing technology so many people try to take some advantage from it. Of course there are so many scammers, liars, fraud... because lot of people start mining/trading whit idea that they will make some great money in short time.  Sorry but you need to be genius or one of million lucky person.

Also, how you figure out when coin scam? Premine? Dev? Pump/dump?

How can you know what was intension of developer/s?
Ok, there are some obvious cases, but there are many coins whit new ideas(algorithms, psychology factors, usage, combinations with other technologies, etc).
We need to give a chance to every new hope.
The point of bitcoin and cryptocoins, in my mind, is that we are changing our perception of money in general.
I think that if all of this goes well some next generations will have less greed.
Utopia?

It is not the point to get there, but to have intension for it! Cheesy
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: http://com-http.us/ Nice little site attempts to list and categorize all Crypto on: June 07, 2014, 09:36:23 AM
anyone know who hosts it ?

The same guys that run the bitstickers.net Smiley

Sorry on delay, we did not notice this topic earlier.

We are couple of crypto enthusiast who try to index all the crypto currencies on the com-http.us. But in last days because we do manually info checking and on site data changing manually we are constantly having race with developers as they make few new coins everyday.

Yesterday we have up and running the our site on the new platform which will be much faster, because in start almost year ago when we get this idea to index all coins there where less than 30 coins and first site we made was good for that volume but today there are more than 500 coins and platform that we used become slow so we made new.

We are hopping that people find our site useful, so we will continue to index all coins and try to make our system little bit automated.

Thank you all on support! Cheesy
