It is just a matter of time before we are back in the black.... anywhere between a day and 2 months... - hopefully, it will NOT take 2 months to get back in the black, though....  Huh

What does that even mean...

it means he bought in at X price and hopes to be back to about even in  up to 2 month
9202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 18, 2014, 02:25:27 PM
Looks like that 2k dip was a try to force panic sell but it ain't work ^^

We will see, as I stupidly bought at 685 I have to hodl through this.

We are at the same buy-in price point..... I am NOT too worried - even though I was expecting to be in the $750 to $850 price range about now-ish....

i'm thinking about buying more soon

don't wanna miss a good flash crash, I also think this downward trend is very temporary

I'm probably wrong, but I'm smelling a choo choo up to 656 within the next 24hrs....... Based on the new triangulation of the trendlines. I'm most likely wrong on this though.

Sooo..if you are "most likely wrong on this though" why dont you just state the opposite and tell us that you are "most likely right on that though"Huh

LOL, sorry for my ambiguity. I'll try to avoid phrasing things that way in the future.
The correct term was probably "take this with a grain of salt, but..."

Being "most likely wrong", doesn't mean that the exact opposite will happen, I expect a swing upwards, but it just might not be all the way to 656 like my prediction.

so far so good.
9208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just moved half of my funds off Bitstamp back into nice safe and warm Bank Konto on: March 17, 2014, 06:03:14 PM
In the not so distant future bitcoin will be 900$
then you will realize this is a buying opportunity and send your money back to the exchange
by the time your money arrives at the exchange price will be have double
you will still buy in, because you understand the market, and because bitcoin.

 Wink

Could we make the polls a little bit more serious ?
That is, leave "yes", "no" and "idk" but remove the moronic all caps options ?

i think those options weed out the not so serious voters
trolls can't help but hit the troll options, which give more meaningful results to the yes,no,idk option.
its a troll trap and it works, when i'm not sure, and i feel like trolling the poll i hit buy buy buy.
9210  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 17, 2014, 02:22:44 PM

9214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who the hell is Max Keiser? on: March 16, 2014, 06:31:02 PM
not sure what all the hating on Max is about..

hes a funny guy.

has a pretty unique view on the markets, and probably exaggerates his views for entertainment purposes.

i like his show, him and stacy make a good combo, its funny / informative.
9215  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's been three months... on: March 16, 2014, 06:22:28 PM
It is possible to consider both rallies in 2013 part of the same "bubble" (remember, everyone was complaining that there was no true final capitulation even for the spring rally, and the fall rally was driven up artificially by China, which hasn't had a real capitulation either). In this case, there needs to be another 2011-like capitulation and another 22 month waiting period before the next bubble.

I could see this happening due to a chinese crackdown on exchanges, wwIII, or 750,000 coins being dumped.

what if chinese are satisfied with current regulation

what if wwIII doesn't happen

what if no one dumps all his coins all at once

what then!  Shocked
9216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 16, 2014, 01:57:58 AM

9218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 15, 2014, 03:36:57 PM
secondmarket is an ETF not an exchange

I know that.  But in their site they say "Liquidity to commence no later than March 2014".  I understand that it is when investors will be allowed to take their money out of the fund, correct?

i think it means that they will have a market where poeple can post bids and asks not for bitcoins themselves, but for a piece of this B.I.T. Fund.
9219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 15, 2014, 03:31:34 PM
If Second Market keeps buying close to 2000 BTC a day it should start bumping the price up.  Wink

Does SecondMarket allow withdrawals yet?  If so, does it apply to all investors, or does it depend on the date of investment?

secondmarket is an ETF not a normal exchange

i think ( idk, i'm assuming. ) they will always keep all the bitcoins in their fund and allow poeple to buy and sell the BTC from that fund, but no one will be able to "take delivery" of the bitcoins in the fund.

the idea is for poeple to gain exposure to bitcoin price movements while not having handle bitcoins themselves.
9220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Q on: March 15, 2014, 03:25:55 AM
Ahhhh that's great I guess but in the event a business is using the same address over and over and wants to move the BTC as to not tempt anyone seeing that address activity.Am I correct in assuming pushing the BTC into another address within the same blockchain wallet is private? In the sense a blockchain search will not reveal the receiving address.

no, all transactions are publicly logged forever, the fact that you're moving the funds too and from an address you control makes no difference.
if you don't want anyone seeing your previous transactions,  all you can do is use a new address every time you want to receive funds.
