Avoid making transactions that the other party is demanding that you will not avail an escrow. If the other party is reputable and can be verified through his trust score, you can have the option not to use an escrow.
But even if he has a good trust score, it's always the best choice to hire any of the available escrow. It will make your transaction ease and safe.
9242  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Targets for 2020 on: November 06, 2020, 11:32:43 PM
It has to stay first in $15k for a week or two or more. That's a better thing for us to see rather than to quickly jump to all-time highs. The investors have matured and learned a lot from the 2017 bull run. And as much as we want to see it rightaway, we're all cool with what's happening. Stabilizing it first will give us confidence that bitcoin is on the path that we're all desiring to see the price that's best. But not that fast, give it time until 2021 to 2022 for those higher prices. And for the remaining days for 2020, we see it as the process of stabilization first for $10k-$15k and likely to $16k-17k.

actually the right price at the end of the year is in the range of $ 15K which will allow bitcoin to move back in the following year in a position that is already quite stable at that price. but everything has happened that bitcoin has passed $ 15K but I still hope that a stable price will get bitcoin at the end of this year.

because the decisive prediction is that in the next year bitcoin will be able to continue to move up, maybe even several times the revenue in 2017. All this is only an analysis of the halving that occurred in the first and second which is a significant difference, so hope that the third halving can happen like that. .
It's a range and it's ok to assume with that price. I'm not saying that it's going to be as actual as $16k-$17k, I'm saying that it's likely to reach those prices at the end of this year. Because with those rapid increases that we have, the chance is likely to hit those numbers.
There will be some fall and as usual predictions and analysis, the halving has something to do with this. The lesser rewards for the miners should be rewarded through the increased price of bitcoin and that's why it's best to hold. I'll give a part of my stash until for the next 4-8 years to witness the effects of those two halvings.
9243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 06, 2020, 10:34:32 PM
As the article says, they have depended on the past election so he have thought that it could be the same win of Trump just like the past election.

Just like the usual gambling, he used the previous election as his reference. He actually even sees that Trump has the edge so he bet on it without a doubt.

This type of gambler, that can afford to lose such amount is already a professional on this industry. While counting of votes slow down, I think he is now preparing for his possible loss. There's a big pain but this gambler will not bet a big amount without a stable and big business as his source of income.
Not only him but referencing the article, there are a lot of them. The result of his bet is much more interesting to see. Whether he wins $15M or he losses $5M.
Whichever the result, I think any of those media that have covered his bet should also cover him again after the presidential election. They should give him an interview, I think that's a good exposure for him if it's possible to happen and get an insight what he was thinking when he made that big bet and what are the next steps he plans to do.
9244  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: November 06, 2020, 09:30:29 PM
demand is going to increase due to FOMO.

See you on the moon.
See yah! But I don't believe that the demand is increasing due to FOMO. The big players have learned in the past that they can't measure the potential of bitcoin and while it's not yet reaching the peak, if there's any, they are buying it. There's a saying that "sky's the limit" and these big enterprises and companies are doing their best to accumulate as much as they can. They got a hint from Grayscale and probably other low-key companies are doing it silently. The demand that we see can be said as a natural demand bitcoin has. Every year, the demand of bitcoin is growing but this year there's more from the institutional investors and IIRC there were speculations about it last year.

Looking to the possible result of this election, I'm the one that's nervous for him. Watching people to gamble with such amounts sure is an entertaining thing. I can't do such but if they can do it, for sure, they are aware of what they do. $1m, $5m and maybe with another event, we see rich people betting more than that. Just a few more counts if not, we'll see it up to the courts for the recount. We can understand a gambler's feeling and this could also be the bet of his life.

and based from the article, he wen all-in. so i dont know what exactly they mean about that. "all-in" of his funds or what? because if he bet all his savings, dont think he will be sleeping in the next few days. but wishing that he will win in some miraculously circumstances.

if he will lose his entire life savings. guess, what his biggest lesson in life here!
Yup. He did an all-in. I think that's his savings, the article should be more precise with the description but it is what it is the meaning of it. The possible win of $15m is what makes him eager to win. And even us if we are betting and we have an idea how much we're about to win, we're only looking at the figures and not with the possible lose that we get. As the article says, they have depended on the past election so he have thought that it could be the same win of Trump just like the past election.

9248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the top 10 btc wallets hacked? on: November 05, 2020, 10:41:11 PM
Isn't it coincidental that the price of bitcoin reaches $15,000 and we have these movement of wallets? But that would be another conspiracy theory if we're going to connect this move to the price action of bitcoin.
Whichever is the real thing behind these moves, the wallets and the price, only one feeling that we're having is to happily seeing it moves to another level which is the $16,000.

Nothing is coincidental because all the news surrounding the crypto field were mostly positive but I was quite surprised how markets didn't react to the news that came about the BTC69k btc move when it was published 'without any proof of a hack or a possession of Gov'. Or do you think that the price was initially getting down when it rejected $14200 and came down $500 in some hours?
Maybe that's already the pull back that we're expecting when we see moving up of bitcoin. A correction that was too small to notice and then it has quickly recovered afterwards. It's just too good to see that this time when we have this big moves of funds yet there's no affection from the market and the opposite did happened.

If a huge amount of coins started to move during a bear market then we should expect a correction and now we have all the the reports coming out about huge amount of coins started to move but the market tend to neglect these and the price of bitcoin started to break all the resistance without much issue and that is not surprising considering what we used to see in the past during a bull run.
This is what I'm saying, it's the opposite of what we're expecting to see and it's positive on our end.
9249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the top 10 btc wallets hacked? on: November 05, 2020, 09:40:54 PM
It's always interesting to see huge amounts moving from one wallet to another wallet. We can speculate that it's just the "owner" moved the funds to another wallet without any intention of dumping it. Cmiiw, aren't those wallets owned by the government already after they've arrested Ross and seized those bitcoins? or it's a different wallet, I barely remember. Again, this gives worry that whenever funds like this moves then we're expecting a possible dump would come but come on, we always see bitcoin recovers quickly whenever it does.

We will be reading more conspiracy theories here very soon. But really interesting where will those huge amount of btc will go afterwards. So something to watch out for here.

I don't think this is a case of wallet hack here. It seems the owner himself is doing the transaction, from what it seems.

Those are just promises to attract the voters but this problem starts from the previous administrations and if they make work for them, expect for being underpaid. There's a lot of on-going with the current election, and it looks like Trump is questioning the voting system, well I hope the election to end smoothly so the market can recover, I see Oil pump after Trump claiming to win the campaign, I wonder what would be the market if Biden wins.
I'm only waiting for the elections to end and want to see whoever will win the presidency. I haven't noticed the pump for oil during the claim of Trump.
We don't know about Biden, but some are telling that it would be different this time and his administration would be totally different from the past.

When is the result expected ?
If Biden gets a total of 270 electoral votes. The current votes are 264 for Biden and 214 for Trump but having that said, Trump is likely to ask for recount for certain states.
It's already part of his to ask the SC to have the vote recount.

I don't want to wait days to get the money. Deposits are added to an account within seconds / minutes, but I have less good experience with withdrawals.
Stake is quick with that, I've withdrawed many times with them so you don't worry with that thing or you just try it.

The biden have Plan to start working big places for BLM and for white people who is unemployed and un educated.
Like factories and Agricultural If its needed They Will Bring people from Other locations across the USA to Work in those places.
This is a familiar setting for me that I've watched from one documentary but it's from the other country that we hate the most, not mentioning what country is that but it's the hermit kingdom. This is what their government do as they send people to places to work but the difference is that the government earns from them while them, getting a tiny profit from their labor. A plan like this is always part of the campaign's platform but we shall see if it will be done as promised because this election is about to end.

9254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which has the brighter future? on: November 04, 2020, 09:19:46 PM
If that's what you think with BCH but IMHO, it's better to keep Ethereum. It's tried and tested. Whenever I observe these two a year or two ago, they were always close to each other's price. But this time, they are not and it's obvious that Ethereum is dominating and has higher demand than it. Thus, BCH has forks which should make it's worth better but it seem to be not because those forks are not also getting the demand that it has to have to contribute to bch's pump. There's more use case for Ethereum's smart contract and there's a huge demand for it.

I see that the favor is going with Biden as I look for updates on social media and but it's not yet the end and there's no official result yet.
The current poll results are still slightly different from and Trump is still under Biden. This can still reverse direction where the results have not yet been made official waiting for who will win in this election.

I always see the latest news on social media and the updated poll news will not be missed; D.

There are also many punters in this poll. Biden voters are still happy because they take the lead at the moment.
I'm only tracking through Google's data and as I see on the numbers, Biden is leading. But after reading xxjumperxx's explanation about Trump's lead in the remaining states, he's right that there's more to count.

That means absolutely nothing... that he is ahead now.
Biden Voters are very worried...
Biden is ahead because his states were already counted.. Trumps are still being counted and the swing states are swining to Biden.
Just check the live odds, Bookies are agreeing.

Trump is ahead in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Michigan
Biden is ahead in Nevada...
Thanks for this explanation. I'm following posts in social media about this, I don't understand about those people saying that Trump is ahead because my basis is only the Google's data and number. Now, I understand what they're saying that there's more for Trump despite Biden having 248 and Trump 214 currently but the score was lower when I've read those posts that I've said. Just a few more hours I guess and we'll see the end of voting.

9258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 03, 2020, 08:45:04 PM
The altcoins are more volatile than bitcoin but they're mostly affected by bitcoin's move. They're harder to predict because there are a bunch of them which we can't actually monitor from time to time. If preferring to choose an altcoin, I'd choose the top altcoins and wouldn't waste any time on those, not major altcoins that are only being made because of hype. But the other remaining altcoins that have good liquidity and market cap will still be the best option only if you're more into altcoins but I'll always prioritize my bitcoin share. So when both times comes that they're coming up together, it's a win.
9259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Suggest the best strategy on: November 03, 2020, 07:38:44 PM
I'm not quite sure yet if this works for me but the strategy I'm using is single bets with a fixed amount however I think this is only good for short run since when I started losing at least 3 times I don't think I would be able to recover my losses immediately.
This is actually a good mindset when you are conservative with your bets. You need to set how many losses you need to have for you to stop. Other gamblers don't have this preference as they prefer to lose all they've got instead of having 2-3 losses as a sign to stop for that time. Small odds and fixed amounts for your bets are pretty normal for most gamblers that are still testing the waters. But when you got the confidence to do it and you're satisfied with it, I think you're doing it correctly and you still have control over yourself.
9260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin demand and price on: November 02, 2020, 06:15:24 PM
Do it and nobody would buy the bitcoins you're selling at $100k. It is the same as the normal retail market that has a price that's being followed.
It may not be the same as the others but they're close to each other as per the exchange pricing. I'll ask you, you want to sell at any price to create a demand. Are you willing to sell it for under $10k or $1k, if the market price is $13,400 - $13,800?
