9281  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 09:44:21 AM
economies of many countries legalize production and print out in the development of blockchain , but we see that there are many regulators, but cryptocurrencies as thought free tool , I doom we are not moving in the right direction

That's really ironic isn't it? Governments and Banks doesn't like bitcoin, but they do accept the underlying technology behind it, which is Blockchain. Really sad, but we have to accept that fact. Government all over the world are regulating it because they think that bitcoin or crypto's in general are so disruptive and they think that their economy will be affected in a negative way. But so far I haven't heard any nation that so far accepting bitcoin that has been impacted like Japan. So you don't have to worry though, bitcoin is here to stay no matter what other nations will say against it. And its either they accept it or don't. But for those who are against it, they will be left out because this revolution is unstoppable.
9282  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Growing transaction volume in the Philippines on: March 02, 2018, 09:34:52 AM
Many filipinos find bitcoins as a new source of income to increase their financial capabilities, it is good to hear that the goverment is embracing the fact that bitcoins can help the country economically. Improving the lives of filipinos. I'm looking forward for bitcoins to grow and develope more here in our country.

But you have to understand that not only Filipinos are enjoying the full benefits of bitcoin, but there are countless people globally that are taking advantage of cypto to enjoy their financial freedoms.

Yeah, the Philippines is really friendly to bitcoin that's why the Filipino community is still at its all-time-high as well. Its local trading platform are now expanding with a Coin Exchange (CX), its on the beta stage right now. And I'm sure that this will really bring a lot of Filipinos in the crypto world. And there are news that other trading exchange platforms are soon to be open. So in the next years or so, expect Philippines behind giants Japan And South Korea as leaders in the crypto sphere. If anyone is interested, here's the link: (https://coins.ph/blog/cx-first-digital-currency-exchange-philippines/).
9283  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project - Zero Exchange on: March 02, 2018, 08:19:22 AM
Interesting.
1.Are the jobs paid ?
2.You said the exchange would work without any external service fees, how are you planning to take profits that way ? That one time fee doesn't really help chip in for developers salary, servers, maintenance costs etc.
3.Will there be a escrow service involved in all this ?

The project looks promising but you need to think of your business model.

Answer 1 - Jobs are not paid because I am developing the beta phase and only after that phase will we work on the physical part to become a company. And then we will begin to organize the earnings of each employee.

2 - Internal rates seem to be the main point of the profit of the platform, but it is exorbitant which means that even with a subscription plan is very profitable, multiply the value of the plan by the value of total users is very interesting the return.

The business model will be posted soon on the blog I'm developing, but I'm still documenting the business plan. Keep following the project.

The project was great, i will support this project. Keep your eye on the vision

Thank you friend! Soon we will have a documentary site of the whole project.

1. You mean to say that they are all volunteers? How the hell did you convinced them in the first place? Or are you guys funding the project all together? Every business need to profit to keep the project going. So I do think that as early as today you should also include it in your business plans and goals. I agree with @Patatas here, you can only be profitable as long as you have lots of subscribers, but in worse case scenario where you didn't get the "required" number of subscribers, what will happen to your business then?

9285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The US government declares not to pass any regulation to Bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 07:59:06 AM
In other news,

So this is a strong message, CFTC’s Chairman J. Christopher Giancarlo allowing SEC to trade and invest on bitcoin. So I'm still optimistic that US will be somewhat still in the neutral grounds, no regulations but will tax citizens engaging in cryptos. And isn't it when Trump became President, he sought out crypto and friendly advisers? So this might be one factor that up to this moment, we are seeing positives news about it. Again, the argument that crypto is being used by criminals and terrorist is already put to rest already, they should look at how the USD has been used for many years. If then want to stop funds being channel and used by terrorist then they before be tracking all the banks accounts of everyone and not just blame bitcoin and crypto for the emerging problems of terrorism globally.
9286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Craze in Africa on: March 02, 2018, 07:49:39 AM

Bitcoin seems to be taking over Africa in a slow but steady manner, major economic hubs in Africa such as Nairobi, Lagos and Johannesburg are adopting BTC as a number of people are finding out that crypto offers a cheaper option to extensive problems. well they maybe late adopters but still have joined the course to spread BTC awareness and usage

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-42582343

Well Zimbabwe has been using bitcoin to store their wealth and its supplants their local currency in times of economic crisis. And relatives outside can send bitcoin as remittances to help their families inside Zimbabwe. Yes, its a slow progress, but I do think that switching to crypto's will help a lot of struggling economies around South Africa. Although 3/4 of Africa doesn't even have infrastructure to support to have at least a decent internet connections. It could be the next step to further develop most countries on that continent.
9287  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Struggling bitcoin will double by midyear on: March 02, 2018, 07:36:52 AM
Fundstrat's Tom Lee expects the cryptocurrency market to recover, helped by historical trends and crypto-tied announcements by major firms.

~Wall Street's Tom Lee

Are you referring to this news?

What do you expect? If you have followed Tom's prediction last year, he is very bullish about bitcoin because he is a investors, just like what you gonna hear from Tom N. and John M. They always predicts that bitcoin could go as high as they want because they want to see their investment grow as well. Sometimes this prediction is a hit or miss though, but one thing is for sure. We are going to see new all-time-high this year and we don't need to hear those so called "experts" because there are none actually.
9288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: COURT IN RUSSIA UNBLOCKS BITCOIN SITES on: March 02, 2018, 06:52:38 AM

Court in St, Peters burg uplifted a ban on 40 BTC related websites. the ban had been earlier made based on claims that they spread information on digital currency  which want backed by real assets and doesn't provide information about its real owners. i think this is a win for BTC. For those who still panicking, indicators of price hike are all over.

Read more here.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/russia-municipal-court-in-st-petersburg-rules-to-unblock-40-bitcoin-related-websites

Nah. I wouldn't consider this a major impact to the price increase that we are currently seeing. And Russia, LOL, how many times I said that they are against crypto and uplifting a ban doesn't mean a thing. And I'm sure that those 40 related websites will be heavily on the governments radar. And just remember that they have CryptoRubble, government back coins that will surely be more of a burden to their citizens, imposing high tax. LOL. It could be a win for crypto in general, but I don't see it has having a major impact.
9289  Economy / Speculation / Re: see 11K soon ? on: March 02, 2018, 06:45:26 AM
Everybody thinks we are going to see 11K soon. The real question is, what happens after that number?
Will it drop like a stone right after 11K or will it continue to go up?
What do you think?
Any opinions?

We have tested $11K thrice already in the last weeks or so. We even went as high as $11,700 but it was not sustained as the price plummeted to below $10,000. But it really good to see that we are just above $11,000 once again. As far as the question of sustainability, we can't really tell. It looks like its gonna be a continues battle between the bulls and the bears. We need to see how it goes in the next 24-48 hours. It gonna be critical to see if it will be hold otherwise expect traders to cash out again and take profits.

Look like Bitcoin bull run will start very soon market is trending towards one more major pump bitcoin sentiment look strong we can see prices touch near to alltimehigh

Don't expect too much of a bull run so that you won't be disappointed. We will see pump eventually but at this juncture, we are not sure about the bullish sentiments. As I have said, they are still fighting it out. Just don't set high expectations, so that you will not be disappointed and then bitching out later.

It is already in 11k, but many people says that it is still on a downtrend? But there is a pattern of Head on Shoulders that's to be need to finished, everybody is waiting for confirmation now.

As per TA, the next test is $11,700 but we all know that no one can exactly say where is the next stop. That's why I said its gonna be critical in the next 2 days or so. It we march towards $11,700 then its another thing.
9290  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC breakout on: March 02, 2018, 06:33:04 AM
Here is an update on for this thread. The daily chart from the GDAX exchange with a Heikin Ashi overlay on the candlesticks.
You can see that the uptrend off of the last bottom found resistance at the upper descending trend line
After a 5 day decline, BTC found support at the 9499 level
It has pierced the upper trend line and if it continues to gain momentum, I'll speculate that the bottom was set on Feb 6th, 2018.
It just needs to break above 11,695 level to produce higher highs and higher lows, the definition of an uptrend.

That $11700 barrier was really a tough nut to break it. We have been tested that price already like twice in the last two weeks, but we can't really get over it resulting to the price going downtrend last week. But its good to see that you chart was a good guide to see where the price would go. Currently we are just a shade above $11,000 so its another wait and see scenario. Bulls vs Bears will fight it out and let's see it we could at least get near the $11,700 levels and see it we can break it this time, otherwise it will be just a repeat of the previous week's, back to square one, moving up slowly and testing new psychological barriers. It will be exciting though to see break $11,700 and see it if can be sustainable. If it did hold and sustained at the levels then $15K will be next.
9291  Economy / Economics / Re: Walmart Is Using Blockchain Tech for shipping. on: March 02, 2018, 06:15:53 AM
These type of headlines shouldn't surprise us anymore. As the industry moves to the next phase of distributed ledger technology and blockchain adoption, many sectors might see a shift in the business processes and the current operating model. While blockchain holds great promise for cost reduction and creation of new products and services, this new technology is not a panacea. It could improve some processes, but not all. It is my beliefe that some sectors will definitely see faster adoption rates and blockchain tech implementation - for example shipping and logistics, which is also the case here for walmart.

Yes, there are a lot of industries that can really used and take advantage of blockchain technology and help them in their day-to-day operations. From banks to pharmaceuticals to even travelling sector. Their flow of transaction will be seamless and process that are old like purchase order/release/request will be real time and so inventory can be updated real time. Yes, as Walmart is more of a logistics, supply chain, blockchain can ensure that traceability of goods and items are recorded and can't be tampered that guarantees integrity of each transactions. Yes, manual intervention will not be totally eliminated by blockchain, but it can reduce human errors, resulting to a more proficient flow and cost is greatly reduced.
9292  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-03-01] U.S. Commodities Regulator Allows Its Employees to Trade Cryptocurr on: March 02, 2018, 06:05:37 AM
Its really good to see CFTC’s Chairman J. Christopher Giancarlo really very vocal about the cryptosphere and very liberal in terms of its ability to change the financial landscape of its employee but giving them their employees a chance and freedom to trade and invest into cryptos. He really sees good benefits that it can bring to its people unlike those around the banking system who put a strict compliance to its employees not to deal with it. We can't really ignore that fact the bitcoin and crypto's are here to stay. And no matter what goverments and banks around the world will do, no once can stop this revolutions. Kudos to Chairman Giancarlo for having a open mind and opening doors to its employees. And I'm sure that they are pleased with this news.
9293  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Research - Torrent users on: February 28, 2018, 12:27:17 PM
I remember a similar websites that I frequently used before. Though its not torrent that I share to my clients, but the finished products which I need to send to them because we all know the emails have limitations.

Anyways to answer you:

1. Yes, I'm a torrent users but I'm no longer downloading as I used to be.

2. Yes, I might used use your tool because it saves me the hassle to download the torrent. But I'm also concern about the malwares and the virus that you can inject to the files, as what @mobnepal has previously raised.

3. I'm willing to pay as long as I can get it quick and fast and at a top speed. But the fee should be reasonable as well.
9294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best alternative investments? on: February 28, 2018, 12:05:38 PM
In what are you guys actually storing and investing your money? in FIAT? Crypto? Stocks?
And how much? im thinking about moving more money into stocks so...

To be honest, I have stocks and real state as my other main investments beside crypto. I also have a offline business and I used my bitcoin earnings to channel funds to it. But I can't say how much I have investment in stocks because I don't think that anyone will tell how much stock certificate they are holding right now. I have stocks that I've been holding for more than 15 years and real state that I bought in 2010, 15 years to pay, and I have someone rented it and I just add a few hundred of a dollars to cover my mortgage. If you are thinking then go for it as long as you do you research and make the proper investment and money management. Goodluck.
9295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: February 28, 2018, 12:00:18 PM
Can't believe what I am seeing, The Lakers are dominating the Hawks, I would say IT was the right fit for the team.
The number of assist can really tell that they are all playing the right ball movement, they are rotating the ball and they are playing like a real team.
Congrats to the Lakers, hope they'll reach the playoffs and surprise people.
I doubt if they can reach the playoffs this year. Maybe next year when Lebron James will be joining them for good and bringing along with him Kevin Love.  Smiley

LOL. How can you be so sure that Lebron or even Kevin Love will join them next year? But I have to agree with you, that its highly that they got the chance to go to the playoffs. And if they do, it will be a big hurdle to go and advance to the next round. Although IT is a great addition, I don't think it will be enough to tip the balance for them this year. And just like any teams that lost their franchise player, (Kobe) it will take a years and years to build one again. But I think they are doing a good job right now with Lonzo, and we hope that he will be the next superstar that the Lakers is waiting for in the post Mamba era.
9296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Revival of Bitcoins and alts and your strategy. on: February 28, 2018, 11:41:57 AM
It's been nothing less than a roller coaster for the crypto market from highs to low and back to the 10k mark we have seen it all. Now I'm anticipating a good rally coming in the crypto market hence I'm holding back play later on.

However as a passive gambler I need to play a lot so I decided to convert my alts into btc and play but then the fees is a pain in the bum.

I don't know mate, but why you moved your alts where there are gambling sites that directly accept it?

Do you'll think considering the fees and being optimistic about a rally we should hold before we play, or continue going forward without being bothered, my fingers are itching to play at any rates.

So what are the other gamblers feeling, itchy or taking a break.

I don't think that the fees are very expensive right now, well conversion wise you will lose a few, but as a gambler, I don't care what's the current price. If there's a rally then good, but if the price its on the sideways, I still go and play. Yeah, I say go for it man, you may never know, maybe you can hit 1 bitcoin. Now we can start talking about HODLing it for long  term.  Grin

We have no evidence that they've raised $735 million. Their coin is not trading on any exchange.

Meanwhile Maduro's thugs are arresting people who are doing bitcoin mining and stealing their equipment and their coins. This is hardly the action of a country that supports cryptocurrency.

Right and i just read that he got 33% from bitcoin alone. LOL. That's why I really doubt what's his real intentions are. I wouldn't invest on such coin. There too much question surrounding the man. Is he really trying to circumvent and used it a backdoor to US led sanctions? Or are there more compelling reasons? He should deal with the deal with the current economic, political and financial issues of his country. Or better yet, he must step down and concede that the populace deserves better and not using 'petro' cryptocurrency as reasons for him to cling to the power.

We have no evidence that they've raised $735 million. Their coin is not trading on any exchange.

Meanwhile Maduro's thugs are arresting people who are doing bitcoin mining and stealing their equipment and their coins. This is hardly the action of a country that supports cryptocurrency.

And for the most part, Venezuela using bitcoin to buy outside just in order to survived. He is a cancer to the society, and he should really step down for the sake of his country and the people.
9298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $70000 Lost, Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple on: February 28, 2018, 11:20:15 AM
I believe it was credit card fraud. Someone reversed the cc transaction on him.

that is true.
and it is a strange story at best. because first of all he claims he was selling bitcoin off the market to some random dude using a reversible method which is the most famous method of fraud: credit cards.
the first question is why was he doing this? why not use an exchange like Coinbase/Gdax to sell his coins? was he evading taxes?
the second question is why is he now talking about it? usually when people trade off the market and p2p they don't want any traces be left from them, that is why I think it was tax evasion, in which case why is he now talking about it?!!!

Exactly my thoughts. Why is he just talking about it? What's his real intention to speak out right now? And far as I know, he didn't know a single thing about bitcoin and crypto and maybe he just want to ride the waves and testing the technology behind it that's why he did the most stupidest and lack of common sense to trade with someone with credit card. I'm sure that the lack of knowledge causes him to lost it. But he is bitching and crying like a kid stole a lollipop on him. I doubt though about the tax evasion, maybe his real intention is to play around with it and see how it goes.

9299  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-28] Bitcoin Brushes $11K as Bull Case Strengthens on: February 28, 2018, 10:56:15 AM
Well at least we are going to close this month well above $10000 ($10,614.80 as per Coinmarketcap), which is a good sign that we March could be something that we can all look at positively. Its too early to say, but breaking the $11000 barrier is one thing, but sustaining it and hope for another bull run is another. Let's hope for the best, and be positive, it the bears can be kept away and the bulls started to fight its way back to the top, I'm sure that March could be the breakout month that we all been waiting for.
9300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware my Filipino friends of Facebook bitcoin groups on: February 24, 2018, 11:24:01 AM
There are a lot of Filipino Facebook groups that scam newbies. I got wary of this issue because one of my friend got scammed because he joined a "pool" but after a lot of promises the one that "pooled" their coins just vanished in an instant.

Please my Filipino friends, beware of FB groups because most of the posts there will just make you lose money.

Thanks for the fair warning, however this is not new, and I do hope that your Filipino friends learn it the hard way. There are so many scammers are out who really targets newbies with a promise of huge returns. Moral lesson is not to be greedy. And those scammers will just create a new Facebook group and will try to scam again and again. That's why Mark Z is really clamping down on everything crypto related because of this example. I myself was a victim when I was a newbie, that's why I stay away from HYIP and other Ponzi schemes. So just be careful guys, and just remember this, "If it's too good to be true, it probably is." .
