9322  Other / Off-topic / Re: My life is falling apart . ( TradeFortress read this ) on: November 13, 2013, 02:36:19 PM
We all know tradefortress is not a scammer

Noooo we don't, please stop licking his arsehole.

If he was a scammer , why would he refund a large amount of it ?
He could just dissappear forever.
Because of this exact reason. Now people won't suspect him as a scammer, but as someone who is trying to fix stuff. It's quite clever, because there will be still a lot of Bitcoin left for him after "trying" to refund a "large" amount of it.

Well, having a build in option to create such a transaction would be better for users with less knowledge about that stuff. You know how Armory does it right?

Easier than this? Tools > Create transaction > From CSV text

Code:

1rdymachKZpA9pTYHYHMYZjfjnoBW6B3k,0.01
1rdymachKZpA9pTYHYHMYZjfjnoBW6B3k,0.16
1rdymachKZpA9pTYHYHMYZjfjnoBW6B3k,1.35

Even that could be to hard for some people. Adding something like this would help (I mean the "+ recipient part", of course):

It would be nice if there was a graphical interface for this (maybe like Armory does it).

You can use the Tools > Create transaction > From CSV to send to many addresses at once.
I know and that is what I would use (or console, depends), but having a graphical interface to create a sendmany transaction would help users that have less knowledge about creating Bitcoin transactions.

how would that differ from the CSV input window?

Is there any reason why Electrum (and Bitcoin-qt) doesn't support sendmany?

Merge pull request #187 from nelisky/sendmany

A tray icon, yeah! Not having one annoyed the hell out of me, haha. I still don't like the design of the new menu's, but oh well, everything seems to work now and that is the most important thing. Cheesy

I must admit that you guys are doing a great job! It must be stressful to launch such a big update.
You did a lot better then SatoshiDICE did with their "SatoshiDICE Tribute"-update, haha. Wink

ok... seems to be a security problem, too many restrictions on IPs

I'll fix tomorrow, for now it is sufficient that open the site by adding www.

www.virtualcoin.biz

That seems to work Grin

I cleared my cache and tried again and I still see:

I am trying to reach the following address: http://virtualcoin.biz/ You could try clearing CloudFlare's cache, but I doubt that that helps.

Do anyone have any demo ?
I do have a demo of the BlockChain faucet script, that I am currently selling:

Verified for awesomeness (and only 12x12).

bad idea, you can simply write ✓ and ✔ (U +2713 and U +2714) without the need of an image ^.^

thats too easy to "fake. if ppl getting used to trust this symbol, they'll recognize "trust" when they see the symbol at other places... i mean, lol, i already seen things like "✔ verified" on location-field in userprofiles here on bitcointalk. (you're evil if you think someone would do this just to gain trust on newbies to scam them easier)

imho it should be a symbol you cannot easy write with your keyboard.
I already saw someone that had "Verified ✔ ""  on the location field.

Why not use the UTF-8 version? Just look under my picture, ghehe.

I have a correct API key, but I keep getting the error that I use an invalid account. I think I will have to disable the PB faucet, until all these problems have been fixed.

Final question for now: How can I increase the time an API key is valid?
I apologize for asking so much questions and being so annoying.

There is no way to increase the time. What exactly is the issue? We might find a solution for it.
Really? Because, well the API states the following under "Sign in":
Quote
"- key API key which can be used to authenticate user without handling cookies. Valid depending on profile configuration."
and it states the following under "Create an account":
Quote
"- key API key which can be used to authenticate user without handling cookies. Valid depending on profile configuration."

I have noticed that my API key changes randomly (sometimes it's valid for a few hours, other times just for 5 minutes) so I have to keep requesting a new key once the scripts get an error back that my account isn't valid (meaning the key is not valid anymore). That isn't user friendly for my users, so that is why I asked if it was possible to extend the time that an API key is valid.
