Everybody is enjoying them self at the conference and I am just sitting here listening to a lecture about the RIP and OSPF protocol. Embarrassed
At least it's interesting.
Kinda. Not really something I need to know for my further job. I want to/will be a programmer, so why would I care about how the Internet works? Tongue

If you are writing code for a telco it could help.  BGP is for the bigger players, but OSPF and RIP are still abundant.
It still sounds like more fun than sitting in a Heathrow lounge waiting on a connecting flight, which is where I am now.
Well, you are right about that.

I hope everybody had a great day at the convention! Have fun meeting each other. I will be there tomorrow and I am excited as hell!

Hello everybody,

From now on Boelens and I will be handing out loans. This way we can handout more and bigger loans.

I wish I didn't had school tomorrow. I would love to meet some people right now. Currently stuck in Enschede. I hope you find someone else to drink with you ^^

10137  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin EU Convention 2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands September 26th~28th) on: September 25, 2013, 10:39:12 AM
i use the android app bitcoin wallet - auther andreas schildbach, although i have not used it in a while.

i keep a small amount of BTC on my localbitcoin account for conducting transactions, so i quite often use this as a wallet when out and about.
Minimum Android Version: 2.3.3. It won't work on my tablet.

EDIT 1: Dammit. I cannot change the Wallet code, because it implements .jar files that are missing in the project.

EDIT 2: Made a issue, I don't think they will fix it before Friday, but still. Anyone else got an idea? Else I need to use the Android web browser or take my laptop with me.

EDIT 3: I found "Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet", which is compatible with my tablet. So that problem is solved Roll Eyes
10138  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin EU Convention 2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands September 26th~28th) on: September 25, 2013, 10:33:40 AM
Does blockchain not work?

It should, but it doesn't. Really strang

EDIT: Already found why. They fucked up the project.properties file. There it targets Android API level 12.
Android 2.2 is API level 7 or 8.
10139  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin EU Convention 2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands September 26th~28th) on: September 25, 2013, 10:26:53 AM
Does anyone know an Android wallet for Android version 2.2.3? I cannot upgrade my tablet, so it has to be that low. Really sucks.

This is really interesting to follow, but I don't feel bad for the people who invested. I mean, you know that his could happen. You know that a whale could eat up all the profit in no time.

Dooglus, I admire how you react on the situation. You payout every time and I think that is worth a compliment. I know for sure that many other sites would just shutdown / block people like him to prevent those huge losses.
