Dead wood?

I believe this thread gets much lower interest since the faucets reduced the amounts you can get so much  Sad
I recently increased it...
10263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How long do zero fee transactions take on: September 12, 2013, 09:34:22 AM
It was never pushed, so you won't get a confirmation. Dunno how to fix it.
10264  Other / Meta / Re: BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.1.39 on: September 12, 2013, 09:31:58 AM
From what I understand the +1s are per user? Or per post?  Per post would also be interesting.

IMHO it is better to only have +1 and not -1. A system with -1 failed a while ago because people were so pissed about the -1. So I think it is wise to only use +1
Only +1 would make this Facebook and I truly hate that rating system. Not being able to "not like" a person is stupid if you ask me. People cannot rig ratings, because they cannot vote right away. Jackjack has to send them their password.

I prefer to vote for a user and not a post he/she made. It might be useful later on, but for now, I disagree on the idea.
10265  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Bitcoin EU Convention 2013 (Amsterdam, Netherlands September 26th~28th) on: September 11, 2013, 09:42:24 PM
We are really looking forward to meet you guys in Amsterdam!  Wink
Any wishes on what we might bring to the party from Czech Republic / Slovakia ?

TREZOR

Hmm... how about some Trezzors?

Rassah, we'll bring TREZOR - final hardware with alpha stage firmware, so no final product yet, but working.
And I'll bring the slivovica - our national drink to test the tough natures of our fellow bitcoiners. Are you in for that? Smiley
Well I am in. I guess my throat will burn away, but who cares about that right? Anyway, seeing TREZOR would be awesome. Have been following that project for a while now.

Greatest prank I have seen in a while.

Connect to other Electrum servers. Also try to fix it by restarting Electrum a few times.
It looks like Electrum hasn't pushed it yet, so it will never confirm Tongue

Well I see the basic layout, but that's it.
It can take 24 hours to change DNS, it's not likely, but it can happen.
AT&T is rather notorious for dual-caching DNS in multiple layers, which can result in doubling (or worse) the propagation times that most of the rest of the internet experiences when a DNS change happens. If the old TTL setting was long, then AT&T is going to take quite a while to get it right. I see that the new TTL is nice and short, so in the future this should be much less of an issue. (Unless they override short TTLs, which is stupid, but I wouldn't put it past them.)

Years ago, I ran across a DNS server with a 2 week TTL setting for a mail host. I would have fired the guy who did that, personally.
2 weeks? o.o Dafuck, that guy must be high on everything know to human kind.

Make a password-gen site, so people don't spam you.
Well he generates it so people can't create new accounts and downvote people who they don't like. This way he can control who get's the power to use it and who not. I think it would be better if the script works when you have reached a certain activity / post number.

Well I see the basic layout, but that's it.
It works for me. It can take 24 hours to change DNS, it's not likely, but it can happen.
10271  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Development]SatoshiRat - a bitcoin game on: September 10, 2013, 04:09:24 PM
Using Inputs.IO is not possible on your website, because the payment will be send from a random address and not one that he owns/controls. As far as I know.

By the way, CloudFlare has no use agains a ddos attack if the person(s) attacking the website already have your direct IP.

Do we have a guess on the number of attendees?

I'd like to bring some minted goods and am pondering the quantity.
Can't wait to have on of those!

Kinda old news. I knew this for at least 2 months if it wasn't more. It's cool and creepy at the same time.

I think the server is down. I do not see any ratings, just empty brackets

How many are there ? I counted something like 150+ is that accurate ? Cheesy If so , you are one crazy chicken .

People keep talking about how usb erupters wont ROI ever and even with that , when I see stuff like this , I just want to take out a huuuuuge loan and buy thousands of usb erupters just for the looks of it Cheesy
It could be that he bought them at the start of the BitFury USB Miners. That way he could get ROI.
