Russian translation is so poor, did you hire someone for $5 per 1000 words or what?

Dear user,

Feel free to provide the detailed information about these mismatches via E-mail: bugbounty@fortunejack.com After our team reviews your remarks and maybe you will be rewarded with bug bounty.

Regards,
FortuneJack Team.

He will be rewarded as well as Video Contest winners.

Well, I have written the letter but I don't really expect to get bounty, since hiring the cheapest translators means that they are extremely greedy.
9364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: May 03, 2016, 11:10:27 AM
only having the funds and making a casino is not going to make profit for the owner.

This is just weird post, any casino is going to make profit by default because there is a house edge and it seems you are unaware of that thing. If so then you should read about house edge before posting another weird post. The problem will be wether there will be people wagering on your site or not, to get a profit you need house edge and people that constantly wagering on your site otherwise you wont make any profit
Without real effort, your casino will go bankrupt. Maybe he knows house edge, maybe he does not. But I get his point. There is already a lot of online casinos around. And a lot more are popping up. So even if you have cash to fund and build a casino, if you don't do the hard stuff, you won't get your money. Setting up a casino is one thing, managing it and actually making people choose you than others and make them stay  is another. And it is on the latter that makes money.

The math isn't really hard, success of casino depends on it's visual design and marketing.
9365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your gambling stats? (Profit/Loss) on: May 03, 2016, 05:59:06 AM
As of now i never lose anything in any gambling site im always having a profit even a small amount.. i use free bonus always doing it like fastdice that they have a bonus of 1k sat then if i got even 50k sat i withdraw it.. i know you cant withdraw it with 50k sat only you need to reach 0.001 btc before you withdraw it so i deposit 0.001 and withdraw it..so no lose and its sure that you can make a profit..

You can do even better if instead of withdraw you invest in bankroll every time you win from faucet, this way you are able to not pay transaction fees every time.
That's a great idea but how much we are talking about faucet, I think doing faucet is not worth your time, most people go to gambling because they are not satisfied with small earnings, they try their luck to earn in gambling that's is why I can say that dedicating your time in faucet does not worth you time.

Of course it's not worth it if you are from first world country, but there are lots of poor people who sit all day on faucets and casino faucets can be used as one more source of income for them, and investment option can be used to bypass minimum withdrawal amount.

9370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: May 01, 2016, 05:44:15 AM
There is no strategy for dice, just play in casino with the lowest house edge. If you want more control over the game, just split your deposit into 100 parts and cashout when you see your desired profit.
9371  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project concept: PvP gaming platform where players play for bitcoin. on: May 01, 2016, 12:33:02 AM
Huge coincidence OP: I had the exact same idea a few weeks ago to build a betting platform for game tournaments, but mostly forgot about it. The idea would be to provide the means for gamers to organize or join these tournaments, with the ultimate aim of winning Bitcoins staked by other players. Every game would have a moderator who recorded the match and watched for signs of cheating so that players could be guaranteed the result was fair.

I have some time on my hands at the moment and I'd be interested in developing a simple prototype based on something like bootstrap and Bitpay integration. My main skills are in programming and not design though - so chances are whatever design I come up with will look bad (but hey - it will work.)

If there's anyone here with solid skills in UX design, marketing, or fund raising I'd be interested in teaming up.

Well, moderator who watch for signs of cheating is a bad idea, since it requieres a huge amount of trust from players and still it's impossible to prove that someone is cheating in games like chess, the only argument would be "you are too good, must be a bot". The games should be designed in a way that doesn't leave any space to AI's compared to human players.

Sadly, I don't have yet any programming or visual design skills, but I would like to try myself at game design and marketing. I've spent many years playing online games and I like to analyze their mechanics and balance.
9372  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project concept: PvP gaming platform where players play for bitcoin. on: April 30, 2016, 11:41:11 PM
It will be cool if a PvP platform with bitcoin bets can be implemented for games like: FIFA 16, NBA 2K16, NFL, NHL, etc.

There are already a lot of people playing them and many would certainly embrace the idea of winning cash while demolishing the opposition.

Good idea i really want PvP games.. i think try battle tank if you remember the old games battle tank in nintendo.. i want is the same just like that but the enemy is real people not a computer.. also the game racing battle.. its easy to battle the game like that..dont need low ping games?.
You can try Lol league of legends and dota2 this very popular game.. if you can make a site that world wide battle and accepting bitcoin as bet.. so it would be popular in the future..
I am addicted in league of legend too.. so that if you make a games like that can accept bitcoin bet.. maybe i am the one who will play with bet..

Or CS : GO

I don't know if there's a way to make automated system for selfbetting on popular esports games like LoL. Dota2. CS:GO. There are public servers with public matchhistory of every players, so maybe it's possible.

A bad idea in my opinion, unless you get the strongest anti bot script. Any skill-based game is subject to cheating and if money is involved you can take it for granted.

Maybe a luck-based PvP. Anyway, what have you got so far?, just the idea? (have you thought about the marketing, how will the money be made, etc.?)

I clearly understand that, maybe it can be prevented with game rotations - each 2-3 months there are 5 new games instead of previous ones with rules complicated enough so making and AI would take longer than that.

It's just the idea for now, I wanted to hear what people think, thanks for all replies!
9373  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Project concept: PvP gaming platform where players play for bitcoin. on: April 30, 2016, 11:00:38 AM
Also it can be Checkers, Sea Battle, the card game "fool", dominoes, etc.

Since this project is a sort of gambling, games where AI's compared to human players exist are not eligible for this platform, because it will quickly turn into bot vs bot games, so Checkers don't fit here.

Card games involve rng element - card draw, so it must be provably fair.
9374  Bitcoin / Project Development / Project concept: PvP gaming platform where players play for bitcoin. on: April 30, 2016, 10:04:38 AM
There are lots of people who bet on their chess games at almost any city park, so lets expand this idea to the bitcoin!

The website would serve as a platform for fair, 100% skill based, PvP games where players bet their coins on themselves and the platform gets some % of winners profit. An easy example of such game would be chess, although the chess itself would be very bad, because of chess AI's. Also organizators can create tournaments with a prize pool formed by entry tickets.
9375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: April 30, 2016, 03:20:13 AM
Online casino is the best place you can enjoy while profiting from it. It the most promising industry nowadays that bitcoin is becoming more popular due to its stability. You can diversify your investing by choosing the most trusted online casino and I am sure that if you do proper research prior to investment, you will gain profit.

Not always, AFAIK, they will use your investment as the bankroll of that gambling site and if there is a guy who won big time all of your investment will be gone too. Of course, they will use your investment first before them.
Your right that a proper research on the casino will give you some advantage.

You are completely wrong, the profit is always shared by some % amount, for example it's 80% on Crypto-games.net, 50% on Satoshidice, etc. You can lose all your investments only if the house will go broke.
9376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: April 29, 2016, 11:08:12 AM
the problem is that it does not work in this way. In order to prevent a whale to put pressure on the casino with their bankroll, so every bet will have a limit. This apply for both the real life casino or online casino. So even if you have a bigger bankroll than casino, because of this limit, you aint able to max your bankroll potential.

As I understand, bet limit protects casino from short term risk of high rolls, but it can't protect them from a player with bankroll 100-1000 times bigger than theirs.
9377  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: April 29, 2016, 08:42:24 AM
Most people don't understand the basics of statistics and blame everything on "unfair games". Gambler's ruin theorem is known for many centuries and it's really simple - in the long run player with smaller bank will lose. That's why all casinos pursue giant bankrolls and like to take investments.
I don't think with big bankroll we can beat casino and i think small or big bankroll to start gambling is have same chance to win. for example you can start to bet with 5% from your bankroll so you have chance win more big than you start with 20% from your bankroll.

It's easier to understand this concept if you look at fair coin toss simulation. It can look like this:

- is players loses, + is players profit.

Now, I've drawn 2 lines. When players loses are equal to his bankroll the game stops, which is seen here as the red line. The house can also go broke, if players profit is higher than their bankroll (yellow line).

So, the likehood of losing all bankroll is determined by the size of bankroll. If you have 1000 BTC and play in casino with 10 BTC bankroll, you have 99% to "beat casino" and take their 10 BTC.

You can also look at any casino and check their profits, they are always much bigger than house edges, because their bankroll is bigger than sum of players bankroll.
