9381  Economy / Gambling / Re: ALTTREX.NET ★ ESPERS Dice ★ 0.6% Edge ★ Fast Cashout on: January 20, 2019, 11:47:10 AM
1% of the bet, regardless of whether win or lose, cannot be the rule. You said it yourself, coins are taken from losers. So you mean either 1% of losing bets or 1% of house edge, which mean 0.006% of wager amount.

So, OP, which is it? I actually prefer 1% of losing bets. I'd definitely sign up for that. But the casino will lose money in the long run for sure.
9382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 20, 2019, 11:12:25 AM
Betting exactly as I'm predicting today, for a change. Liverpool only a meagre 1.22 so used it to pad up a Wolves/Newcastle parlay to bring it to a fat 5.8 odds. Avoided betting on the other big uns as just want to enjoy them, hopefully we'll see some people slip. Arsenal Chelsea of course means someone has to stumble.

@LFC Enjoy the game brother. I know 1-0 wins are what get champions to where they want to go, but I have good feeling about today and getting a nice victory to keep the machine well oiled.

Put your picks in people!

Looks like you got your win? I was so tempted to bet on Arsenal but seeing them lose recently just made me stay away too, which is too bad because they were 3.5 odds to win.

The weeks are getting lower and lower I think in terms of total points won, with 2 games left even if I get max 6 points, it is only 16 points. Just so tough to catch up, but I'm glad I can get back to climbing the ladder. So much to make up for when I left for holidays. Anyone think it is worth it to predict a Fulham draw?
9383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pump after dump? on: January 19, 2019, 04:54:33 PM
Bitcoin is pumping? Anything that isn't even 5% isn't a pump, just a standard recovery or buying selections. Looking at the volume even this whole past 2 weeks, nothing's convincing me of anything in the positive direction.

It's just a mere increase so I'm not still convinced that we're going to see good days next week.

I'll let the market decide if we're really going to the counterpart of bear market and if its really done. There's more to go to the market and it's just getting started, we need to be patient and wait for the right time to celebrate the bear's end.

Yeah, even if Bitcoin goes to 4500 I won't be convinced. In fact if it goes that high or even 5k in the next 2 weeks, I'll feel it's too fast and we'll just see another downward correction just as quickly. Let's just let the market move, and then react accordingly.
9384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lisk (LSK) Price prediction? on: January 19, 2019, 03:42:14 PM
Been almost literally a year since I remember last hearing about Lisk hype. I used to own some, but liquidated everything at some 10% profit or so, in exchange for more Waves at the time. Not even sure what price it was at during the time, but in dollar's worth, my entire portfolio is below 60% on average.

Lisk's actually solid, in my opinion, but I've put all my bets with existing coins I know better. Waves as mentioned above, Gbyte even. One for a platform for dapps, the other for a different (DAG) structure.
9385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Electroneum(ETN) vs. Masari (MSR) vs. Iridium(IRD) on: January 19, 2019, 03:17:34 PM
Wait, what, are we talking all about Electroneum again? Said it before and said it again recently, I have coins like ETN I will keep on holding. I bought them for speculation (okay in this case ETN even for fun) and had no expectations. I'm actually somehow still surprised it still has value and is trading, meaning in my books, there's always a chance for it to go up and recover old ATH along with others when the long awaited bull run comes.

I'll be 3 years older then;)
9386  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: January 19, 2019, 01:01:47 PM
Loss is expected at 60 times per 1000 times = 6000 satoshis. Win is expected 940 times = 940 satoshis. Nett loss every 1x wager = 5060
This is just an expected loss though, it can always go above or below 60 depending on how lucky/unlucky you are during that session. On the wagering part I agree, i've participated in different wagering contests before and if you have the patience to bet low you can go as high as wagering x100 of your bankroll but those are dice sites with 1% house edge. x30 is not that bad considering their house edge is at 5%.
You are right, you really need to make an effort to bet as much as you can to increase your wagered amount but making your bet not so aggressive at the same time, stay discipline as you main purpose here is just to increase your wager overtime to have the opportunity to enjoy the reward once you are lucky.

This promo by the gambling sites is a very popular one, this is to encourage more bettors to play and even if some are lucky enough to win the contest, overall, they are still profitable.

I am putting it in terms of expressed loss for sure, as expected. Just like you would do at any site and at any win chance. I understand all about variance, but like you said, that's your luck factor. If you place enough bets in the long run, expected results will show up very close to actual results.

And yes, 100x is quite easy at 1% house edge sites. In fact I think I've done well over 100x on some sites, taking advantage of bonuses, rain and other things to make the 1% edge very small.
9387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: An Easy 25 Percent: ‘Bond King’ Jeffrey Gundlach Predicts Bitcoin Price Gains on: January 19, 2019, 09:57:44 AM
When you hear a socalled bear tell you Bitcoin price could gain, what do you do? Follow him? If he turns out to be true, then will he also be true about his long-term bear predictions? I don't think so.

I do think BTC will go easily back above 5k, just a matter of time, and it may take this whole year to even reach 4900. Be prepared to see a lot more lows, new lows not seen since 2017 even before that happens!
9388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shill me your favorite crypto right now on: January 19, 2019, 09:04:47 AM
You can check out pundix,to me it is a coin with great future and I am sure it will be big but it is just a matter of time before this happened.

I'm not a big fan of the coins coming out from my region to be honest, but I can say 1 thing about this PundiX. They actually are doing something useful, with their POS (point of sale, not proof of stake!) machines being manufactured and already some being distributed I believe.

For me, crypto payment with debit cards has been a HUGE failure thanks to Visa and Mastercard making their cards non crypto friendly but if you get a separate terminal that works even offline for crypto? That's a big thing if it takes off!
9389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: January 18, 2019, 03:38:16 PM
The way I see it, old coins are already tested through difficult times. The new coins, I cannot see how they will make it through this bear market. Some of the old coin had provisions for long duration bear market such as this and it shows. The ones that survived and keep going are now tested, their people know how to endure. The ICO coins, not so much. They burn through the money they got from the investors and then it is all over for them.

I sort of see it this way too. The old coins have been through incredibly tough times, and actually it only got tougher of them as things went by, like look at Bitcoin as the clearest example. But for every test passed, it seems it needs an even bigger challenge to threaten it. Like remember when the hard fork happened? Everyone thought that would be the death of Bitcoin. That didn't happen at all. It actually got stronger, so now every new hard fork is meaningless to Bitcoin.

But new coins, even a hard fork can seem like the death of it. It's impossible for me to imagine what new coins can do UNLESS they find a way for utility. But how to convince people? I don't know. I don't think new coins know either.

Can't you allow people to sign up just with an email? The last thing I want on my FB and/or Twitter is more spam. Which is sort of why I stopped using them for crypto in fact, I just got spammed so much right after using them for crypto-related purposes.

By the way, does this user (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2438335) have anything to do with site? Why not make an official thread first?

Now we have only FB/twitter and email in the future we will have more contact for login.
We move to this blog. Is an official. Smiley

Ah I see, well I guess that we will just have to wait. I have to say though, you should make just an email signup available. If not even anonymous signups, because that is the standard nowadays for Bitcoin gamblers. It's not really enough to have anonymous currency but forced to share your social media accounts, right? Email I can understand is best for recovery. Anyway, good luck.
9391  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: January 18, 2019, 08:13:26 AM

Judging from my own very small balance and wagering, I generally manage to wager around 30x my deposit minimum before busting, and that's without a conservative strategy. Conservative should be close to 90x.... [snip non-sense stuffs]

I'll take that bet and DOUBLE it.  If you put 1 BTC into the Bonus Account (that has a requirement of 25x wagering before you can get the account balance) and you actually win it,  I'll give you 2BTC.  Just record it on Dlive in a live stream for proof.  You're not wagering anywhere near 30x let alone 90x.  You lie.  If you cant back it up,  dont make stupid claims.

That's not a bet and I'm not going to prove anything to you, because you don't have any intention to do anything other than say what you want us to believe. Anyone can read this thread and find all your posts, and they'll understand why.

100,000 satoshis. If you bet 100 satoshis 1000 times at 1.01 = 1 x wager. Chance to win is 94.06%. We round down to 94%.
Loss is expected at 60 times per 1000 times = 6000 satoshis. Win is expected 940 times = 940 satoshis. Nett loss every 1x wager = 5060
At 1k times, you also get 1k bonus, which unlocks at next 100k wagering. So nett loss every 1x wager = 4060

Rough calculation, you can do this all day and get about 25x (100k/4k). But conservatively, I could just aim for 1 sat martingale til I get 1% of deposit, and then do above strategy til back to original deposit. Rinse and repeat. Eventually I bust yes, but I get my 30x quite OK, the bigger the deposit the easier, and I deposit more than 100k.

Site is normal for me, in fact feels slightly faster than before. I'm on VPN so I generally have a hard time connecting to most places!
I'm just curious, why are you using VPN? is gambling illegal on your country?
But oh wow, 6 BTC in 1 dice throw. Even with super low prices that's 21k USD. The equivalent of 100 months salary min wage in my country! Tell me a normal casino that let's you win that amount in 1 second, lets you prove it's a fair bet, and doesn't give you problems withdrawing! WTG Bitdice!
Big money, I wish to win that in gambling only lucky people does and I think I'm not due for it yet.
Just curious again, 21k usd for 6 months salary, that's pretty cheap to work in your country, I don't think I can live with that monthly salary with my big family. It's a life changing win if people are satisfied with $200 monthly salary, but it still depends on how they are going to manage their winning.

Two main reasons. First, I work very long hours in my office, and my company allows us to rest or even stay in the building after our hours or in between. They even let us use internet on certain computers for leisure, but everything is connected through their own VPNs. I don't understand exactly why, but this way they can purge our computers or whatever, I'm not sure of the technical details. They also allow us to access some sites freely we can't do on normal ISP. Secondly, my mobile provider is very restrictive so even on my phone I use VPN (but my own download apps).

You made a mistake. 21k USD is 100 months salary in my country, not 6 months:) Min wage here is about $200 a month, but if you have a degree, you can earn at least $500. And most people get cheated to work for less because the laws here are not strong. In nearby countries, people earn even $30 a month.

So you can understand, even for some people if they have free internet they don't mind on the phone to collect free BTC every hour.
9393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big day for ETH on: January 18, 2019, 07:22:56 AM
It's pretty scary for me, for a really really big coin or project, to discover such a huge flaw in their code only 1 and a half days before a hard fork. And only the devs realized this, not others. That's scary for me. And what's more this hard fork has to happen every now and then, so what if, what if there are new flaws discovered later on?

Ether won't die and eventually will recover and maybe even rise, but its growth will be severely affected if this always continues.
9394  Economy / Gambling / Re: F2M – 4 Ways To Moon With Fomo2Moon 2019 on: January 17, 2019, 12:35:20 PM
Another Fomo3D game? What's the difference with this one? Should realize by now, these games are no longer popular. A couple of big whales, maybe 3 of them, they all won their big jackpots, and now have left the game. I actually was dumb enough to try 1 of the clones, went in really early, small amount, tried to earn dividends. Probably was one of the first few too, and still didn't even make back 50% of what I put it.

Much prefer to gamble provably fair where I don't have to fight whales.

9396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will STO's Work? on: January 17, 2019, 09:22:03 AM
Honestly, the way I see it, I don't see a single difference between STO and ICO, except that STO is legal, and you can do it without any worry of getting sued for something down the line, etc.

But does it make it less risky as an investment? Nope. Will it reduce the amount of garbage tokens? Not at all. Any token can hire legal people and work out stuff so that their STOs are okay for regulators. But STO doesn't magically make a project good, doesn't magically build a community and all that. I'm not convinced at all, to be honest.
9397  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: January 17, 2019, 09:01:22 AM
The number one spot is taken with 138 bitcoins wagered. To give you an idea of how much that is, 138 bitcoins totals to 500 thousand dollars. Someone wagered about 500 thousand dollars in gambling in order to reach the number one spot that will be getting 10 thousand dollars in rewards.

I am not saying anyone who gambles 500 thousand dollars loses money, after all the house edge is small and you can even be lucky and even won money during that much gambling and maybe that person will get 10 thousand dollars on top of the money they already made but risking 500 thousand dollars to make 10 thousand dollars sounds crazy. That person and all the following people there with 125 and so forth must be really into gambling.

I have not gambled anything more than 0.05 so far so it sounds so crazy to think about how much I would have to bet my max comfortable amount to actually reach to point they are right now. I applaud them for their courage and hope they will tie the house edge with this promotion at least and make profits.

That's one massive whale. Imagine how much funds he/ she has to actually manipulate the prices of BTC.

He has WAGERED half a million dollars, doesn't mean he owns it. Even if you owned 138 BTC you can't manipulate anything, not even on 1 exchange much less global BTC price!

Judging from my own very small balance and wagering, I generally manage to wager around 30x my deposit minimum before busting, and that's without a conservative strategy. Conservative should be close to 90x so maybe he has 50k worth of BTC. Anyway, if the guy is smart, he is wagering conservatively and taking advantage of RP bonus plus Wager bonus to reduce his 5% house edge to about 4%. I suppose he will maximize his free rolls too, so maybe that even goes to 3.5% With the prize of 10k, that's 1.5% house edge. With lotteries, that's back to 1%, maybe even lower and close to 0.

I have a question here. I'm looking up myself CBE, but there appears to be many different institutions offering the same thing. Some as cheap as $99 others are even more expensive. How do I know which ones are the best or even how do I know which one I should take?

These exam questions, are they all from the same provider of CBE? Like do they all give you the same questions? How does that work?

So the smallest winning chance is 1% ? Can we get lower ? 0.01% for example ?

Also I really appreciate if you can make "stop auto bet when loss or profit" feature in the future

Agree here 100%. We all know the standard house edge is 1% for crypto dice. Of course, there are also sites that have lower, in the past but they didn't last long or didn't succeed.

Personally, I have even played at 5% dice sites and they are still popular because they do other things that make the site attractive (talking about freebitco.in where it is 5% house edge and I still play because of rewards points and wager bonuses, and the chance to win big).
