941  Economy / Speculation / Re: whether it's time to turn green again on: March 20, 2018, 01:37:08 AM
ranks 1-100 all the green back coins, I think there will be no more red. bitcoin up 7.79% Ethereum up 5.01% Ripple up 10, 52%.
my estimation will continue to increase. but, there will be some also red back. honest personally feel a little bit happy to see this situation.
You need to be very careful with your predictions, it has only been one day we cannot be sure there is no going to be more red in the market I also think that we are going to see some small recovery but nothing too great maybe we will reach 10000 again before the end of the month but if more negative news were to come then it is likely the price is going to go down again since there is not a lot of support.
942  Economy / Economics / Re: Wonder how many people can hold BTC for more than 3 years on: March 19, 2018, 05:46:50 AM
There are plenty of them in here who invested bitcoin when the price was low like $300 or $1000 or even higher prices. Some are doing day trading to make more bitcoin and to continue holding it because bitcoin is still young and had much more to improve this alternative and decentralized way of payment and asset has a bright future ahead. That's why i think people will hodl for years to come.
Holding for such a long amount of time is harder than we think, while there are many users in the forum which have held for a longer amount of time than that, I'm sure that a majority of the users in the forum probably have held for a year or even less and when we take a look at the current price of bitcoin holding is even harder because the price is going down, so I think that those that are able to hold despite the difficult market in which we are now are going to be the ones that will be able to hold for three years or more.
943  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Serious, I Started To Worry...... on: March 19, 2018, 05:35:49 AM
Now I feel worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto in general because every time there was a price correction I saw most people are not worried about the price and they all had the same opinion about it, they all said to wait and hold your coins or buy new more, but now I see that there are different opinions about it, that makes me really afraid of what happens now.

is it serious guys that it is over or what?
It is impossible for everyone to agree all the time, the current decrease in the price of bitcoin has many people worried about the future of it many people like us that are long term holders are not really worried since we know the price is going to recover but the majority of the people that invested when the price was at very high levels are very doubtful to keep holding because right now they are losing a lot of money and in a way I understand them but if you want to make money with bitcoin you need to hold.
944  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading actually worth it? on: March 19, 2018, 05:01:03 AM
So yeah i'm just wondering whether can you make serious money with trading or is it more than not just gambling?

Are "pro traders" making millions, or are they barely getting by and need to sell their signals and such?

Not in a bull market anymore so i'm looking at trading as a way to make money, but not sure whether it actually works. Note i'm not complete newbie, but i was never really trading.
Only a minority of traders can earn any amount of money, and it is very simple to know why trading is a zero sum game if you want to win someone else needs to lose it is not really complicated, but it is a truth that not many understand so most traders need to become losers so other traders become winners, and becoming a winner in trading is very hard you need a lot of money, knowledge and practice.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: March 19, 2018, 04:51:56 AM
If your question was what would be the effect on ICOs if Facebook puts a ban on cryptocurrency advertisement, then the answer is quite simply not much of an effect may be the ICOs would lose one platform for advertisement. There are many other social media's where ICOs do their advertisement through us. So that wouldn't make a whole big of an effect to the advertisements of ICOs.
Losing Facebook is big, after all Facebook is probably the biggest social media site in the entire world so they are losing at big platform for them so I think the effects are going to be a lot bigger than many think, this is not going to stop icos, but it is going to slow them down a little bit and when we take into account that the market is kind of slow and the know your customer policy issues then you are talking about a lot of investments lost for the icos.
Losing Facebook is not big, but Facebook losing the revenue they are generating from those ICO adverts is the one that is big. Trust me bro, they have been getting a lot, and it is just because they would want to at least consider the community and the users since they cannot really get to screen the spammers, then that just had to happen.

It seems before anything and as long as it pertains to ICOs now, you will need to get a legit verified document to be able to do anything and that is good enough for the community.
Facebook is not going to deny itself the huge profits they can get through advertising cryptocurrencies, so something else must be at stake here and the most likely option is they were pressured to do it, it is possible they are being paid to not advertise cryptocurrencies and if that is the case then we can't compete with the money of governments and banks since they basically have all the fiat of the world.
946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 19, 2018, 04:43:34 AM
Forex is very complex and too risky, you need have many knowledge to success in this market like: technical analysis, economy, politic.... While Cryptocurrency market is a new market which is still developing, is having much potential and i think you don't need much knowledge to able to join Cryptocurrency market. In this market, you can easy earn a lot of profit if you are patience because price of all cryptocurrencies will almost go up in the future.
Forget about the complexity of the market, that is true but that is not the main factor of why trading in Forex is way harder, people complain about the whales of the bitcoin market the whales are really nothing compared to the manipulation banks go through in order to move the price of Forex a few cents, that may not seem like a lot but they can earn a fortune moving the market that way while everyone else loses money.
947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Advice Needed on: March 18, 2018, 02:15:29 AM
hello everyone!
I am quite new to the cryptos, however Im very interested in learning and discovering the trading process of cryptos!
Therefore, I would like to ask crypto traders for some advices about how to better learn the trading process and how to start trading. Thanks in advance!
 Smiley Smiley
Probably the best advice we can give to you is to take your time, I know it can be really difficult because you are excited and you want to trade right away but it will be a mistake, read some books and watch some videos and then familiarize yourself with the exchange in which you want to trade then make some small trades, do that for a month and if you are successful then you can trade with your capital.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Keep It Crypto on: March 18, 2018, 02:07:42 AM
As much as I want to be a law abiding citizen, pay my taxes, support my nation, etc... I also want crytpocurrency to remain a lot like it is now.  Sure, I don't want to see Billion dollar digital heists but I also don't care to see banks call the shots on how cryptocurrency is perceived.

I guess when the red squiggly line under cryptocurrency goes away the party will truly be over.  For now, cryptocurrency still isn't even recognized as a word by chrome spellcheck.  I hope it stays that way forever.
Unfortunately this state of things cannot last for long, this is a transitory stage where bitcoin can go in two different directions, in the first scenario it can go down and its popularity never reaches a point higher than the current one and then it disappears, the second scenario the most likely is that bitcoin becomes more popular it becomes more widely used and this will attract more regulation.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I Received An Email From MyEtherWallet on: March 18, 2018, 01:56:53 AM
I also receive a lot of letters from MEW, but you understand that this is phishing. In fact, this is the whole industry that is unfolding today very much. I think that today you need to be very careful.
The thing I wonder is how do they can get our email after all when you create a wallet in my  ehter wallet you are not required to input an email so how do they know that you are holding some tokens, are they able to hack the websites of icos and then get their mailing lists? Because I find it very suspicious they able to get our emails at all, maybe it could be a good idea to have a throwaway email.

NO, this is called fishing. They have databases with emails to people who are involved in crypto and they send this email to thousands of people and hope for respond.
Still this does not explain completely how do they get those emails, they need to get them from somewhere right? How do they do it? I suppose there should be some kind of black market for that kind of information, which means that you should probably use a different email for every ico in which you participate so you avoid that kind of attack.
950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC right now on: March 18, 2018, 01:28:49 AM
Now bitcoin in the margin of 9000$,it is good time for the investment. Btc right now seems to be involved in investment. You can buy with this range in the future. When the price increase to some high value, you will get huge profit from it.You have to analysis the market gap to inverse in bitcoin at the correct time.
Now the price of bitcoin is even lower than that anyone looking to invest in bitcoin needs to keep an eye on it because they are getting some opportunities that we are probably not going to see again, many people are regretting not investing in bitcoin when it was 1000 dollars, and I'm sure that a lot of people are going to regret to not invest in bitcoin during these months in which the price of bitcoin is very low.
951  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: PLEASE LET ENCOURAGE THE MARKET BY START BUYING AND STOP SELLING: on: March 17, 2018, 03:10:52 AM
That would be a risky bet. What if after holding it for a while the price falls even lower. A person would lose most of the money and would lose faith completely. This market is heavily manipulated by big whales who have the majority of the stakes. Our small contribution doesn't even make any difference.
We will never know when the price can go up or you can go down and most of us are unable to predict the direction is going to take, the question is if you are willing to hold no matter what? If you are not then it is probably better that you choose another investment with a lower risk, but if you're willing to hold then that is precisely what you should do, do not panic because if you do you will lose a lot of your money, the most important virtue for a holder is patience.
952  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do with your Bitcoin in 2018? Will it become more valuable? on: March 17, 2018, 03:00:47 AM
During the new year of 2018, many of us Bitcoiners have resolutions to make our capital and Bitcoin holdings grow. Most will hodl onto their coins for the long-term until Bitcoin reaches an all-time high that would satisfy their goals. Other will sell their Bitcoin when they start to see prices falling below their targeted goal.

One thing for sure, is that 2017 has brought us many exciting things for crypto land. Bitcoin and rest of altcoins in existence have risen in value exponentially over the course of the year. Now that 2018 is in its very beginnings, I would like to know what will you do with your Bitcoin (either hodl, buy more, or sell) and will the pioneer cryptocurrency rise further in price?

Whenever you just hodl your coins over the course of 2018 or sell them, Bitcoin will make many more millionaires. What are your thoughts?  Smiley
I don't have plans to do anything with my bitcoin except to keep holding, it is not the most exciting thing to do but it is the safest especially if we take into account everything that is happening right now in the market, the price is very unstable and there is not much indication the price is going to go up again while some may sell under these conditions I think that is a mistake because we do not know when bitcoin will skyrocket again and I do not want to miss that.
I too have the plans of holding the bitcoin for a longer time period. This will give promised growth and apart from this I have plans to make use of it into continued buying and selling based on the market, because the price has been fluctuating and not moving much to reach new ath above the $20000 mark.
Yeah, I'm not planning to do much with my bitcoin because there is simply not a reason to do much, I could spend my bitcoins right now but the price is very low and I will not get enough for it and when I think about how high the price could go in the short term then it's simply a bad business to spend it right now, it is better to wait, I know it will probably take me years to get to the point in which I'm satisfied with my profits but I'm willing to wait.
953  Other / Off-topic / Re: How wars can affect Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2018, 02:40:00 AM
If world war broke out, all cryptocurrency will die because one of the most target is telecommunication,  internet is number one to distruct all server will be disconnected and also bitcoin is affected.
The Internet will survive the war  the Internet was dessigned to keep the government communicated in case a war broke out but you need to understand that if that was the case the Internet will become heavily censored so it is very likely that the bitcoin traffic will be blocked since it will be considered it to be a threat against governments and the military.
954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The investment on: March 17, 2018, 02:34:25 AM
Do not invest in coin you do not understand, or even see many people make a lot of money from it.
Calculate your investment in electronic money when your investment is not high, which will help you easily cut losses and exit the wrong trading.
Be consistent with your principles.
Be patient and think hard.
That should probably be the number one rule you should never invest in something in which you do not have a deep knowledge about it, after all how are you going to know if the coin is going to be successful or not if you do not understand it but most people never think about it they only think about the profits they will get and they invest even if they do not understand the project.
955  Economy / Speculation / Re: Selling Bitcoin on: March 16, 2018, 03:54:02 AM
You're totally right. If most of the newcomers will have a mindset like you, then the crash of bitcoin will not be as bad as what we have seen lately because everyone that panic sell their bitcoin contributes to the drastic drop of bitcoin's market price.
But I simply not possible, newcomers are always going to make mistakes they are always going to panic it doesn't matter how much we talked to them that is bad for them to sell when the market is going down they to do it simply because they do not have experience to do otherwise, but eventually if they keep themselves in the market they understand those lessons and will become like us.

most newcomers may indeed panic with a drastic market downturn so most of them want to sell their bitcoins soon because they are too scared to lose much of the market's previous high prices, so most of the newcomers do not understand the current market price. .
And this is because of inexperience, some people have been here for years and they have seen the market crashing down and then pumping up once again, they have seen these cycles in the market and they have seen them in action and they have grown accustomed to them but a newcomer has not seen any of that and when they see the price crashing down they think it is not going to ever recover and that is why they sell.
956  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin VS bank on: March 16, 2018, 03:48:17 AM
I dont think banks will replace in the future. Let's just take note that banks has the big help in the economy and it will continue to exists for many years. Banks has been uses by many people for long now and its difficult for the new to replace it. Bitcoin will be bitcoin and banks for me will continue to exists.
I think this is one of the main reasons of why banks are going to survive for longer than many people think, people are simply to used to use banks, and we cannot expect to change the behavior of hundreds of years in just a few years, it is going to take longer than that and if we take into account that banks are probably the most powerful entities in the entire world then this is going to be even more difficult.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO launch date change? on: March 16, 2018, 03:39:49 AM
Dude any ICOs that would launch their ICO on a bear market will surely fail, that is the basic thing you need to know when it comes to investing ICOs.No one would ever invest to an ICO when the bears are still dominating the market, because most of the investors are pulling out their money out of the market just to be safe and to cut their losses.
This is not true at all, the success of an ico is determined by the quality of the project itself not by the market in fact in a bear market you can get some pretty good projects for cheap so if you have the money and you have a good eye to select icos that are going to be successful that is the time to invest since you can make many times over your investment.
958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's effect Facebook banned will have on ICOs today on: March 13, 2018, 04:32:50 PM
I think the effect is only minimal. When it was freshly implemented a lot overreacted, I presume that because Facebook is a really
big social media platform. It isn't something you can ignore, considering the fact that the massive amount of users and publicity
it harbors is incomparable. But with the number of other effective social media platforms out there, ICO's can still advertised and
get on with or without facebook's assistance. Things will get on and progress. Too bad since facebook campaigns are good sources
of income with bounties and campaigns.

I have the feeling that this is just the beginning, Facebook is the biggest social media website around so it is obvious it was targeted at first because of its influence and this move does not seem like something Facebook would do this is something they did probably because they were pressured to do it and if it worked with Facebook it will probably work with other social media websites.
959  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the worst thing did you did in crypto world? on: March 13, 2018, 04:28:43 PM
The worst experience for me was that I kept all my funds and altcoins on exchange.. Sad Sad This was a tought lesson so I will never do it again.
This should be warning for all of you not to keep coins and funds on exchanges.

Many of you remember Cryptsy. The owner cashed all funds and disappeared.. Sad story.

Hope he will come to justice soon.

There is probably nothing worst than losing your money for the actions of someone else, losing your money by your own decisions is already bad enough but when you are not totally at fault and someone scammed you or just stole your coins as if it was your case, then it can be really hard to overcome that because some will assume an attitude of why bother anymore trying to increase my cryptocurrency holdings when someone else can steal them so easily.
The fact is that no one can not have any legal responsibility, because the crypto currency in most countries is legalized. So no one can blame anyone for anything. The fact of fraud in one direction or the other must be proven.
Stealing is a crime all over the world and the same can be said for fraud, so people can be held legally responsible for stealing your coins or for scamming you, even if cryptocurrencies are not recognized it as currencies we know that at least it is an asset, cryptocurrencies are something that has value even if for a lot of people it doesn't for some it has is it, so when someone steals your property that is a crime that can be punishable by the law.
960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 13, 2018, 04:24:47 PM
Forex trading is very unpredictable and hard to make a little profit, would rather trade crypto, markets of coins are determined by demand and news and most of the coins are decentralized which gives no one the ability to control them but often whales do so lol...
Yeah I don't know why people will want to trade in Forex the market is very manipulated from banks to governments you can lose a fortune very easily with very small movements of the market, also you need a lot more money to open an account you need thousands of dollars and most the time you need a lot more money than that while in crypto you can begin with just a few hundreds of dollars.
