941  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 Within 2 Months? on: May 08, 2016, 02:30:23 PM
There is a good chance that this will follow up but of course nothing is guaranteed to be honest so you never know what will happen.
I think there is a good chance that the price is gonna rise within 2 months or even sooner to the 500 dollar.

I think if everything goes fine then we might see this price before halving, as price is moving up slowly now,but one thing is sure we will this price very soon.

at the latest it's probably at $500 by july or august

but it's probably sooner

Yeah  very possible to see this price at the time of halving, and now we don't need to wait too long to see this price as it has started to move up now.
942  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: May 08, 2016, 02:26:07 PM
this is the scenario , when halving coming and takes its place bitcoin goes up for a couple of months, but when halving has ended bitcoin will go down for a year.

Yes that is quiet possible that price can fall after halving but when it comes to buying I think this is the time to go for it as price will be higher in coming days.
943  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: May 08, 2016, 02:23:46 PM
If the price of bitcoin reaches to my expected level then I will not hesitate in selling everything even before the halving as there is no guarantee that price will be higher at halving.
944  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 08, 2016, 02:19:59 PM
bitcoin can't replace the dollar until people stop exchanging their bitcoin into dollars

Even if people will stop exchanging, some compare system will be needed for bitcoin anyway. Bitcoin can't really replace dollar anyway and it's true.
It is true that bitcoin cannot replace dollar but it is not correct that for bitcoin as a standard to be compared with dollar is compulsory, when bitcoin become a most stable currency then people will make bitcoin as a standard and then bitcoin will itself a standard for other currencies.
There is a possibility because bitcoin is not controlled by the government, its decentralization features likely to attract more people plus they can easily track their disbursements and receipts looking at the public ledger. It US will go cashless this will gives us good option.

How that thing cross in your mind that e-currenry really can replace the stroNg dollars bitcoin ia nothing without dollars and it is reallying with it, dollars also is have a strong law and it has place where it originated while bitcoin is nothing although the price for now if bit high and possible for us to earn but what will happen to it in near future?? No one can predict its fate but dollars remains There.

Yes dollar will always show its presence in future too, and it is not easy for bitcoin to replace the strong currency like dollar, dollar is a popular currency used and accepted everywhere.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: May 08, 2016, 02:16:03 PM
Didn't it get canceled after all, wtf?

are you making this up, it was never mentioned that it will ever be cancelled, also it need an hard fork, and it go against the fundamentals rules of bitcoin...aka it will never happen

I just asked. But never mind, there were a few threads as of recent questioning whether the coming halving should be canceled, so no smoke without fire?

No it will not cancel and it will make the price of bitcoins increase. But the supply of bitcoins will be limited into 21 million soon. Don't believe that rumors that bitcoin halving will be cancelled.

Bitcoin halving will be surely done in the month of July and its not gonna canceled, so investing in bitcoin at a moment is the best thing to do.
946  Economy / Economics / Re: Is gold better than Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2016, 02:13:55 PM
A lot of people seem to think gold is the answer to all our problems. Every time the economy takes a turn for the worst, people turn to gold. {They invest in gold to hedge against these problems} If you

do not buy physical gold items/ornaments/jewelry/gold bars ... you still have ZERO protection against anything. It is just a piece of paper and a ledger entry on a private database. People seem to think

that there are tons of gold stored in secret vaults under government buildings. Is this true? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZcRk7UClO4 { There are no proof of this and audits in the USA are about

60 years old. } You have the only entry to your investment, when you invest in Bitcoin. { The private key } The proof that it exist, is on a public blockchain....  Wink

i don't think that gold is better than bitcoin, gold is now pretty old and it is stable, so it would take long time to get profit from it, so many people started to use bitcoins

and it is good for bitcoins too,as more buyers means larger price, some people buys other cryptos like etherium, but they still like it more than gold, as it give more profit and faster

Yeah bitcoin allows us to make quick profits, but in gold you need to wait for a longer time as price fluctuation is not as high as bitcoin and gold is more stable.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: May 08, 2016, 02:10:32 PM
I'm holding 2 Bitcoins for the coming bitcoin halving ,if the price will rise as predicted of the other members I think I dump the half then hold again the half.

Yes that is the  right thing to do, majority of people are holding their coins for halving thinking that price will be higher at the time of halving.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: May 08, 2016, 02:08:05 PM
I prefer bitcoin, but still use Paypal sometimes.  Smiley

For now i think bitcoin is a little harder to use for average user than Paypal but it's improving.
I think using paypal it more difficult than using bitcoin, to enter into any paypal bit complicated to fill the data are complete and you have not been able to get full access if you do not enter a credit card.
different from the bitcoin to use bitcoin wallet you only need. come on this is the beginning of the future payments

Yes and I think bitcoin is very simple in compare to Paypal, and you don't need to disclose your identity too the only reason people using Paypal is because its more popular then bitcoin.
949  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: May 08, 2016, 02:04:23 PM
I used my bitcoin as a currency to buy things i want online. There's a lot of websites that accepts bitcoin now, i hope that will increase Grin.

I also use it as investing in altcoin. It's profitable if you play it smart enough.

Yeah bitcoin is an currency and also an best investment for the future, if you have bitcoin then you can expect good returns on your investment in future.
950  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 per Bitcoin ??? on: May 07, 2016, 11:47:18 PM
$10 000 per bitcoin? It would be very nice, but I don't see that happening anytime soon...I am sorry.

Heck, I would be happy even with $1000 per bitcoin soon, around this halving.

$1000 will not happen this year. We might be lucky if we see the price stay above $500 for the rest of the year. Don't count yourself rich already.

Yeah and bitcoin will test our patience for sure, as it will not be easy to achieve the landmark of $1k may be we need to wait longer to see that price.
951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stable, stable, stable! on: May 07, 2016, 11:43:32 PM
I overall think that the bitcoin will not get stable soon but of course we cannot predict this.
I honestly also do not want to let it go stable because I make a lot of profit with trading.

Bitcoin was stable last month but now it has started to move up on regular basis, and bitcoin is not used to be stable for a longer period of time.
952  Economy / Speculation / Re: how much gonna be 1 BTC in a year? on: May 07, 2016, 11:41:21 PM
In the last months the BTC price is increasing, how much u guys think the price gonna be in one year?

After a year from now i think that the price will not be the same as it is now but at least $700 - $800 because the halving at July will affect the price.

$800 is the good price to hold I guess, and the price will totally depend on halving, if we see some new and better price then bitcoin will be worth more in next year.
953  Economy / Economics / Re: The Halving - Good or Bad for Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2016, 11:38:26 PM
As you can see theres a small changes happening on bitcoin last month, from 420 it climbed up upto 470 because of the halving that is coming. All bitcoin earners and holders will benefit on this event.

Just have patience for some more time and you will get the answer, halving will be surely good for bitcoin and it will take the price of bitcoin even higher in coming days.
954  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: May 07, 2016, 11:36:00 PM
Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?!

Because they are a jealous bunch, most of them are butt hurt because they missed the boat and don't have enough money to buy lots of BTC. So they dream about $1 Bitcoin and how they'll buy thousands if that happens.
Yeah I agree there are just mad because they cannot afford the present Bitcoin price. So now they are waiting for the halving and hope that they then can buy some coins.
Yeah but they also keep saying it is dead because the price was stable for such a long time and people just do not have the patient for it. I also do not have the patient for it all the time.

If price is stable then it doesn't mean that it is dead but if the price falls extremely then people starts to make assumptions that bitcoin is dead and it will not survive in future.

Yes but the fact is bitcoin is alive and can never be dead, its still in its younger age and will need some time to grow and shine in future.
955  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: May 07, 2016, 11:33:19 PM
No I right now do not spend a lot of bitcoins because of the halving that is coming up later this year.
Most likely it will be very profitable and because of this I do not want to lose any bitcoins.

That is the right thing to do, hold it till the halving, today I was in need of money so I sold 0.14 btc and converted it to my local currency as I thought that price was good.
956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: May 07, 2016, 11:30:29 PM
I think it is not realistic that the average joe will handle his private keys on his own.

So there always will be a demand for something like banks, even if bitcoin will succeed.

Yes society is dependent on banks and they will never stop using it even if bitcoin gets on the mainstream, and bitcoin is not that powerful yet to make banks disappear.
957  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: May 07, 2016, 11:28:23 PM
Trying to multiply is the only hope. I would try to make the numbers get increased by the method of trading, gambling and lending. I would also try implementing a business in which bitcoin is accepted.
10 BTC is a huge amount. You can divide some parts for a number of ways. but if ka want to use gambling. better not to use the BTC amount is too large. it would be quite dangerous

Why to waste 10 btc in gambling when there are better options available, invest in trading and try to grow your coins over a period of time.
958  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2016, 11:23:58 PM
1. make them smell nice.

2. show them they can get 15% discount from amazon if they buy from purse.io using bitcoin.
yeah sure her eyes would sparkle when they see the discount. they will do anything to be able to get a discount it
moreover, uses only requirement bitcoin for payment. they would surely use it

Yeah that is a fact that women loves shopping and above that they love discounts too, and bitcoin allow them to get huge discount if they shop with it, this can motivate them for sure.
959  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 will be a boring year for bitcoin on: May 06, 2016, 10:16:45 AM
It's just a matter of time if it will be boring or it will be a great year for Bitcoin Users, who knows. Hoping also for a mass adoption for Bitcoin this coming 2016.

You are right, thats all depend on time, time can judge, when you get profit from bitcoins in this halving, than you will say it is a happiest year. so no one say that it is boring year.

Time will only show what the output will be, if price reaches to a new level  then it can be the year of bitcoin or else we need to wait for the next year.
960  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ? on: May 06, 2016, 10:14:28 AM
If we see price higher then $600 at halving then $800 will be reached at the end of the year, totally depends on what will be the price at halving.

I don't think that is possible, it will take long time to reach  $800 as I think $500 will be the price at halving not before that.
