Their next match will be played away vs Atlético Madrid which isn't good in my opinion. ATM just punished Rayo Vallecano with 7 goals to 0! Their next games will be mild until they face Barcelona in October. That is why some of the matches in those uncommon competitions can be misleading. It could be misleading in many ways and perhaps it was even misleading Sevilla themselves who felt to be ready for La Liga after making it into the penalties against Manchester City, but now they are miserable start into the season. This will take time to make up for or they will again be fearing to get relegated at some point in the season. Last season we saw such a poor performance of Sevilla in La Liga. And Sevilla's performance from the beginning to the end of the season was so poor. In the end, the team could not even make it into the top 10 of the points table. Nice - Lyon, this match ended with a draw result. After losing points in the previous two matches, Lyon finally got a point even if it was only one. But at least Lyon didn't lose, because Nice statistically is better rather than Lyon. I admit that Barcelona's defense in this match was really unsatisfactory, but the performance of their attackers and midfielders was good enough that it helped them win the match. Gavi, De Jong, Ferran and Lewandowski scored one goal each, but of course I didn't really expect Barcelona to concede 3 goals. Xavi needs to make strategic changes in the next match so that his team can play better in defense. Arsenal's main strength is the excellent chemistry between the players. The team is able to consistently perform well due to the strong bond between the players. However, they could not win the title in the last season as several players in their squad suffered injuries almost simultaneously. And Arsenal did not have a suitable replacement for these players. Due to which they lost the consistency of performance. And they ended up losing the top spot in the table. Arsenal management has been trying to strengthen their squad this season. And we saw some good performances from Arsenal in the first matches. Arsenal's title fight with Manchester City this season could continue until the end of the season. |

I think the problem is that players have gotten so much bigger and stronger over the years that injuries are just more likely. The obvious solution would be to have less games but that would mean less money and a nightmare for career stats. That’s why I understand load management. Players like Kobe or LeBron who are going for their legacy will always be out there if they can.
It's true and we already heard a lot of complaints from last season about how exhausting it is due to back-to-back games. Kyrie Irving was one who stood up and talked about it. I think the NBA should find a solution to this. If it ain't cutting the number of games then they could lengthen the number of days that will be played in one season so that every team will have enough rest. If that doesn't work either because of conflicts in schedule with WNBA and other events that will use the homecourts then maybe cutting the minutes at every game could also be a great help. I thought they made progress by applying the running time during the 4th quarter where a receiver doesn't need to hold the ball while the clock is running but the shot clock won't move but I guess that's not enough. I think the best solution would be simply cutting the number of games in the season. Maybe 82 games is too much. I think they’re not going to be less games for sure. There will be another player who will become bigger and better perform well and get more money. If one player gets injured, another can obviously take its place. So the number of games are never going to reduce in my opinion. Moreover, the intensification of competition is a continual reality. That is what makes the players actually getting injured more and more. Honestly, it does not matter how much the players take care of their health.
