no fork that i can see.

FUD because XC is in panic mode - clutching at straws.

Their dev has started helping CRY coin. Another pump n dump
Their mixer is broken and taken people coins.
Their trusted learning solution to stop bad actors is flawed.
Their POS is unreliable and isnt minting for everyone.

942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncensored XC thread on: June 03, 2014, 04:19:08 AM
Already onto the next PumpnDump that is brewing

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=618377.340

Is the Dev still here and working on features?
Yes, I have been working on new features. Anon send is the holy grail in crypto right now and no coin has properly implemented yet.

We have been working with x11coin team closely as they seem to have the solution that can come soonest.

 Smiley

No he says "working closely", not "helping".

ATCSecure has said he is "not working on any other alt coins."

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=630547.msg7059884#msg7059884

So Cryptcoin is obviously a scam.  This is not FUD, this a public announcement.

I didn't say atcsecure was working on this coin.

x11coin is worked on by many more people than just atcsecure/Dan. x11coin started as a scam coin and has been turned into something much better, worked by atcsecure and others.

I've worked with the NEW x11coin team, as I said. Now please, go back to fighting DRK instead. Cryptcoin is not your enemy.

Guess who this developer might be? I will give you 0.7 DRK for the right guess.  Roll Eyes

It really amazes me to see where DRK has gotten itself to given the hatred from possibly every angle there is. Unreal.

So ATCSecure is helping CRY coin to start the next pump n dump.....this is going to make the baby jesus CRY.

XC = CRYCOIN (cant even keep up anymore)

ATCsecure can u plz explain how it is prevented from a mixer stealing coins during this beta wallet?

a mixer on its own can't steal coins, but with out the REV2 trust system and multi-path there is a potential risk of loosing coins through a bad node.  I have setup "hardened" servers for testing, PM for details

Is a "bad node" one that has a technical malfunction, or one that is operated with evil intent ?

Either one, as I stated I have setup some secure servers for testing and personally guarantee that those servers work as advertised, PM me for details

Act nicely.
Build trust.
More more and more.

When times come,

monitor tx, that come to my wallet address(should be big one~)

if tx is confirmed, do walletlock.

done.

Build trust by letting a few small transactions go through my mixer. Debug/Monitor the QT and wait for a large transaction to land. Take the XNode offline and lock the wallet once the TX is confirmed.

here's some of my questions that were never answered. won't buy back until they are answered.

i will mark these questions out as i get answers. i'm adding new questions also...

i love the idea of a fully decentralized p2p pos mixing solution. seems that is the only weakness in drk but i'm still gonna get a masternode. i just bought some more xc at .00170! i bought some before but sold it when it doubled to buy more drk because i was out of btc at the exchange (wish i would have held).  anyway i like the idea of the decentralized xnodes and may get one but i have a few questions.

1. is the staking problem fixed? when will it be, what is the fix?  how long should it take to stake? i've been told up to a month. not good!

2. what is the problem with slow pos transactions? i understand it was caused by the end of proof of work. what is the fix and when will it be implemented? i thought this tech was supposed to be super fast? if it can't efficiently perform reg trans how will it do 2.0 type functions?

3.  looks like the anon trans worked on the testnet. did everything look as it should on the testnet block explorer? is there even a testnet exp yet? will theses anon transactions be implemented in rev1 on sun or is that feature 3-4 weeks away. in 3-4 weeks the  Dual Path anon feature will be implemented right?

4. why are people focused on the logo more than if the tech actually works. seems a bit like misplaced priorities. guess they have full confidence in the dev.

5. what is the fix for the xnodes possibly stealing coins?

It wont ever be answered - its clear to me dev has no idea, cant string a simple sentence together. Including when coins are being lost in mixers!

Happy to release mission statements throwing "paradigm's" & "ATMs" around but cant offer a simple statement to clear the air.

"REV2 will have a solution to the bad actor problem.  Using a dynamic learning trust system"

Create Xnode - steal coins.

Shutdown Xnode - Move Coins to new Xnode

steal coins.

Shutdown Xnode - Move Coins to new Xnode

Rinse, repeat.

Cant wait to get started.

Lol, good luck with your uber hax skillz /facepalm

Can someone explain if that is a potential risk?

I know it's probably FUD, but it seems somewhat "logic", anyone to explain?

As I confirmed days ago but was told to shut-up because everyone wants to jump on the bullshit hype train.

If you implement a dynamic trust learning system - this is FLAWED.....how will you determine the rating of a brand new Xnode that comes online - it has NO HISTORY. Then coins can be stolen, the XNode shutdown and the process done over and over.

Go read the unmoderated XC thread - coins have already been lost being transferred through a mixer.

I lol'd hard at this - should be their new slogan.

Wow it went quiet in here all of a sudden!  Wink

Things got very, very serious in last 24hrs....people are trying to figure out their next move, mostly along the lines of keeping quiet and trying to buy more at reasonable prices. Grin

I just finished quietly buying up my next stash...dont think we will be seeing 0.022 anymore....0.03 will be soon.

I send 1 real XC to address XSQYYwgVVYoGyc23NCTcCvQRCNiidarU71 using:

now try to find my fucking sender address  Grin

dev...
you are a saint  Cool

What is correct block height ?

Does he list the "sent" address anywhere? i see a couple entries in different places, but without knowing what the originating addy is you obviously cant compare

I am waiting white paper.

Something changed for trust system.

How it works is key.

There is pattern.

The anonymity has been cracked already??? Has a pattern been found??

Anyone who mentions Loljosh.

Yes because that question has been answared, he's not part of the team. Also most of these comments are here to spread trouble just by the way they are worded.

I think that is exactly the sort of reply NewWorldCoiner is talking about - We know he never was and is not part of the official team, that is not the concern or the question. People want to know the deal is between he and yourself - not what he ISN'T, rather what he IS and what he has done that warranted the payment.

Even worse than uncertainty in a market is having points of concern actively avoided. It is not acceptable to simply call those who ask these questions 'troublemakers'. If certain questions are 'not allowed' to be asked then the market will respond accordingly and it wont be pretty.

Clear the air and let us move on - but a simple "that's already been answered" won't fly.

Many of my questions which were serious have been deleted. Its done nothing but hurt the coin.

I would suggest you get the dev to have a read of the unmoderated thread for XC (and hopefully he can have a serious technical discussion rather than throw buzz words around) - the discussion going on there is 100x more beneficial to this coin then all the stupid "I LOVE YOU DEV" crap in here.

Dig your head in the sand and put your shields up around the dev and pay for it later.

I have read that thread and it isn't exactly technical discussion , it's mostly "XC IS A SCAM".  Also, not a lot has been deleted lately. Actually graphics and images explaining the technical details were provided here multiple times. Again, please do you research and read this thread before you say it's just "I LOVE YOU DEV". The last few 20+ pages, really don't look like that.

As the head of this coin ATCSecure must be the face of all questions and be able to provide FULL TRANSPARENCY to the community before it can be adopted. If that means answering the questions 5x over or coming out and saying "Yes I paid loljosh to do the foundation code for the PoS" then so be it. At least the air is cleared and you can carry on. If not he can choose to hide away in this safe comfort zone which is heavily moderated and throw vague 1 line buzz word filled answers hoping that will put a smile on everyones face. You will keep your closed knit community and go down holding each others hands.

DRK went through the exact same thing but 10x worse with people like Anonymint ripping the architecture and anonymity components to pieces. And thats why DRK has the most solid solution of any coin so far. Every question can be confidently answered - We all had months worth of discussions of chopping and changing parts of the solution - why do you think its over 1600 pages long.

The invitation is there to break down the walls and let the dev come clean with all the questions which have blatantly been shoved under the rug - its your choice.

Whenever repeated questions are deleted users get a link to the answer.

OK great - can you please provide me an answer to the following. If it has been answered in the past, provide me with a link. And I DONT mean a 1 line vague ambiguous statement:

ATCSecure needs to come clean with the exact details of what he paid loljosh for, is the PoS codebase of this coin entirely created by loljosh?Huh - if not provide details on what the payment was for. Remember this is for transparency and to clear the air once and for all.

DRK network hash is officially in full retard mode...

I got 25 of my 30 rigs on DRK and I'm expecting between 6-8 DRK per day.

Something tells me, quite soon, we'll be looking back at 6-8 DRK per day as "the glory days"...

In my mind, each DRK is minimum $100 USD so it's still a very profitable coin to mine...

With this network hash, it's obvious I'm not alone with this train of thought...

Just checked 195GH = that is crazy amounts of processing power
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: June 02, 2014, 10:13:19 AM
I think most likely, it will top out at around 1000 MNs is my guess.

I'm guessing around 300 max, because those that would've had tens or even 100+ of nodes with the old 1000DRK=1MN system will now just have 1.

That said, could someone please tell me why the multi-ticket masternodes was a good idea again?
Multi-ticket was built for whales and possibly the exchanges. So, I stick to 1000 to 2000 MN guess, as much easier for whales and exchanges to build MNs if multi ticket is implemented in current form.

It is easier to update and secure one big MNs than 20 smaller ones. As long as the total number doesn't go down a lot it doesn't affect decentralization that much. Anyway, afaik, it has been pushed back to RC4. This should happen in July, so there is a lot of time for this to change.

Even so - it might be limited to a maximum of 2-3 tickets per masternode so you cant have 20,000 drk / 20 tickets in one MN.

Still too far away to be anything to worry about for now.

Hi guys. So finex enabled the API calls for DRK earlier tonight Smiley

https://api.bitfinex.com/v1/pubticker/drkbtc

You can even place orders! LOL

My order does not show up in the order book (here: https://api.bitfinex.com/v1/book/drkbtc) but I think it is because they are forcing all orders to be hidden.
Enjoy  Wink

Wow I'm starting to believe this is really going to happen. Amazing

WTFBBQ - INSANELY AWESOME

Mintpal making USD $3000 a day on $2 Million of Drk trading volume.

Which is why bitfinex were smart to follow suit.

If bitfinex the elephant in the room jumps in, it is not merely 3000$ fee daily anymore. Bitfinex accounts for 25% BTC volume exchanges worldwide, if they takes DRK officially, there is at least ten times more volumes. Remember, you don't need to have BTC anymore to exchange DRK, they have DRK/USD. DRK has survived all whale's hatred and dumps like BTC, it proved enough to be a strong currency equally (if not better than) BTC.

Agreed - imagine when the liquidity is there to actually support DRK straight to USD and vice versa.

Will be insane.
