Finalizing the details on that but there will definately be an opportunity for a full set.
Really? I don't like that idea to be honest. I really enjoyed the whole trading community that came to existence because there wasn't any other way to get what you wanted (be it a full set or a certain coin). I didnt say how ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ***To make things a little fun I've included the chance to win ~$1,000 worth of coins and btc in the packs. Each pack contains a scratch off that once scratched might contain a winning prize. There will be 15 prizes in total.
I bet this is how ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

eze,
Before I vote, would you mind explaining the Certificate vs. Non-Certificate Numbered Coins and the Series vs. Lotto / Lotto Variation? I'm not sure what you mean.
Thanks, Chris
Certificate numbered coins: coins that come with a certificate with all the information of the coin on the certificate. Numbered coins: coins that are have a unique serial number. Series: a variation of coin made into a series. (Microsoul 0.1 BTC Silver, 0.05 BTC Silver,..) Lotto: one kind of coin made into a lotto (bronze microsoul roulette coin) Lotto with variation: lotto with multiple kinds/variations of coins. These are my wild guesses ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) You have it right on. The lotto variation idea is not something that has been done yet on this forum.

Just wanted to see what people would be interested. Easier just to make a massive poll than 5 smaller polls.
Each vote is to a section, with two votes allowed to the coin series/lotto/variation.

You will probably not get anywhere close to 16 BTC for all the coins.

I was going to say talk to bigtimespaghetti, but looks like he was already in on that thread. Also buying his book is useful to learning how to go about making coins. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1089977But you'll have to pay for metals, the production costs, as well as the die for the coin to be struck with. Edit: Here's an excerpt from Northwest Territorial Mint. How much does it cost? To create any coin or medallion, two engraved steel dies are required - one for the obverse or "heads" side and a second for the "tails" or reverse side. The designs on these dies are derived from hand-carved plaster sculpts created by experienced artisans. The cost for a single die typically ranges from $150 to $1,500, depending on the intricacy of the design. We also offer a wide range of stock designs at little or no charge. You should note that factors such as the materials used to mint your medallion, customized edges, engraving, high relief designs, specialty packaging, and other options will impact the total cost of your project.

So the hashrate is still off as I speak. I don't know what to think anymore I was ready for "back to the sky" movement. I think the big players are waiting for the halving to turn their new-generation hashers on. If they'd do it right now, they would have an effect on the difficulty and they don't want that right now (well they did a few weeks ago when we saw 20% increase). They are ready for the halving. And when it comes... ...all the small hashers will turn off their gear. But the big ones will turn on their new machines. Difficulty would double, but since the small ones turn the switch off, the difficulty should be ok for them. And they won't lose that much in the halving. They are ready. Meanwhile, they control the difficulty (by turning on and off machines; it's a game: "Hey let's try to get the diff to EXACTLY 0.00% this time!"), of course by colluding between the big ones in China. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Also depends on Bitcoin price. It'll be interesting to see how it changes over the next 2-3 months. Whether or not people jump on the bit train.

This is an interesting idea, would you be delivering coins to ANACS in person and picking them up in person meaning the only shipping would be to/from the customer?
Yes. That is exactly what I did for the Denarium order because we save like $30 in shipping. That's like the only reason I was thinking about this after minerjones mentioned it to me.
|
|
|
I barely trust ANACS to handle my coins. No way I would consider adding a middleman for any amount of savings.
I would not blame you OG. If you really think about it say you have 50 $50 coins, that adds up fast. I was just curious to see what the response would be.

Honestly, it is way too much risk for too little reward. I almost started a service like this, but then realized it was not worth it. You would be saving someone $7 per coin but taking massive risk if a package gets lost.
FYI: Any order of 30 or more coins is $12 per. If you submit over 100 then they will do lower rates (likely $9 per).
Probably would throw in a clause to cover myself incase something like that happens. Just because shipping and such, if you want to risk it you can... Now looking at this from my perspective I would be charging $15 per coin, plus whatever shipping is depending on the level of security the customer wants.

All people that wanted their coins graded, I have an update.
Coins were dropped off at ANACs today. They have a pretty cool and small building. The man I met with showed one of the coins to a grader (I was told there are 5 graders) to show them off.
The coins are cool, but he said most likely our Denariums are going to grade at the MS-60, because of the cleaning done to the coin.
I was also told that if we are lucky, turnaround time would be 2 weeks. Worst case would be 4 weeks.
Andrew over there at ANACS is a really cool guy to work with. I should send him over a paper wallet loaded with some BTC and say "figure it out". I was told they might be open to accepting Bitcoin as payment some day... As I left I felt stupid for never asking his name. Thanks Blazed.

In regards to the poll, If you do vote a certain way please give me some sort of feedback to help me.
Minerjones originally suggested this idea to me. I just wanted to see how many people would be interested or not interested.
I talked to their one representative at ANACs today after dropping off some coins about what rates I could be given for large amounts of coins. I threw a number of 50 coins out there and his response was the coins would be charged at $12 a coin for grading.
Now looking at this from my perspective I would be charging $15 per coin, plus whatever shipping is depending on the level of security the customer wants. USPS Flat rate small boxes for the US is $6.80, medium is #13.75. Shipping from ANACs is anywhere from $21-116 dollars depending on how much the coins are and how many coins you have.
Price Breakdown: $15 $12 for grading $1 to rent out a P.O. Box for more secure receiving and shipping $2 for running this service and for driving back and forth from ANACs Optional: $3 for imaging
Just pitching this idea as it could be beneficial to people overseas that might want to grade their coins. I believe ANACs is the only one to grade cryptocurrency, although I have seen some other companies with coins.
TLDR: Coin grading for cheaper if we send as a community. Please give feedback.

Did you post in the right section? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Some collectibles auctions have been posted in this section and the mods seem to be allowing it. Helps them to not get buried in the "full member account" and other unrelated auctions. What if we quoted bids just incase someone backs out? Just like staking a bitcoin address so no changes can be made.. Because I have seen a couple of sketch accounts back out. OK then, let's start the auction.
0.55 BTC

So far this is going under what it is worth. At a minimum this is worth 1BTC + 1oz of silver!
I'm going to snipe it. Obviously. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Man getting these at a steal ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
