No FUD from me. Facts only. However, OK, I don't want to hurt investors. The fact that the dev here left your messages posted and did not delete , is proof in itself he has nothing to hide. He is confident enough to leave your fud in the thread for the world to see. Nope. This thread is not self-moderated so dev cannot delete my posts. More proof that this coin is not a scam is the ongoing development and very active dev. Devs that scam, dont continue to be active , and they certainly dont put the time and effort in that MTR dev has. So I completely do not understand why MTR dev spreads FUD on other threads, make fake accusations and publish his lies. And why is he looking for a job by posting his stupid offers on other threads. Maybe he is not sure what he should focus on. Now, please , I ask nicely for everyone here, dont continue to hurt our prices. Thank you , with much respect. I am an 8 bit holder also. I've got me a silly masternode question...
So I've got a few set up already, but I've been putting together a few more.
Here's my question: In the masternodes I've already set up, I did the transfer of the 112 8bit from bittrex and cryptsy... The exchanges were up front about the fees and it was easy enough to account for exactly 112 showing up in the new wallet. But, now my extra funds are in a local wallet, so I'm a little confused about the 0.0001 transaction fee... Do I send 112.0001, or 112 even and it'll take the fee from my remaining balance?
You always send 112. Your wallet will include fee, so you will actually send more than 112, but it's wallet problem to calculate exact amount. Note it's 0.001 per kB of tx, not fixed 0.0001. Hi, a question: If the masternode cost is 1024 8BIT, and the supply is 200k 8BIT, does that mean only 200 masternodes can exist today? How come there are 350 today (I mean will some existing masternodes have to be shut down)? Sorry if stupid question  Thanks Current MN cost is 112 8BIT. This is extremely cheap so we have many masternodes. And yes, 9 masternodes now will create 1 new masternode. If someone has 12 masternodes now, he will create 1 masternode and put remaining funds from 4 old mns to stake. |

To all rich list readers: - there was a setting that limited inputs counted in richlist
- now this limit has been moved MUCH MUCH higher so it's no longer a case
- it affected often-staking addresses
- now everything is shown properly

by the way Have you spotted masternode number reduction last days? It's growing again!  Seems like some mn investors were not sure if voting result will keep masternodes worth of running. I am happy to see they are coming back. Or rather maybe new investors came? Anyway, it's always cool to see a growth.

What does the Dev think?
I will keep observing comments related to this. We will make decision this week. Meanwhile I have to launch a public testnet, commit new economy model to github and start testing.
I don't recognize any other coin which changed masternode cost, also dash masternode cost check does not know current height so masternode related code has to be changed in few places. Therefore well prepared and performed testing is absolutely necessary step here.
At this moment I need testers and testnet nodes, testers should be able to build a binary from github source, eventually I will publish linux static binary. No windows nor macos binaries will be released by me this week. If someone else wanna do it - fine, anyway I don't trust binaries from third parties so it's not something I recommend.

It does not mean there are new 21 nodes. I have made a simple DNS and 8bitd based software which will maintain list of seed nodes. Since now you don't have to add any other nodes. Anytime you restart 8bit wallet it will fetch fresh nodes. While 8bit network will grow those hostnames will gather and gather new nodes. Credits: round-robin technique. If you have IPv6 connectivity you can also add (they can be unreachable ATM since DNS zone has to refresh): addnode=6node00.8-bit.party

Please note that self-moderation cannot be disabled/enabled after thread creation so once this guy will continue his crap activity it will hurt whole project.

Everyone can setup as many masternodes as she/he wish and mine as much percent of all coins as he invested in masternodes. This is how it works and I am not gonna fight against it. It's not a problem for me that either you or masteretarded will earn coins here. You can mine 99% of all coins but with your FUD those coins might be worth nothing. Surprising? |
