This is the best troll thread on this forum. I used to think PinkiePie and MatthewNWright were the king trolls here but you are the true king BADecker.  The best part is that you know you’re full of shit and it’s obvious.  Props to you troll master. LOL

He is not trolling. Why would someone troll for so long. They are delusional just like the dude from the flat earth thread, I thought he was a troll too but after you read his posts over and over you realize that he just has problems.

The only anonymous inter-webs characters I’ve ever seen use the Joe Cool smiley at the end of every post and never get upset when someone attacks them in a post are trolls.

Real people become angered when someone attacks them or their beliefs. Trolls don’t because that’s exactly the type of reaction they want to get from the real people so they smile and move on.

The censorship issue is a non-issue for me because I’m not a criminal. I want drug trafficking to be stopped, terrorists to be caught, and human trafficking to be eliminated. If I can’t have perfect anonymity and need to suffer some censoring to keep my kids off drugs or out of the hands of Somali slave traders - so be it.

If your so worried about drug traffickers than you goto the supplier and this is the biggest one targeting your kids.

And Somali slave traders are not after your kids that a fucking joke.

Sorry, I’m not an anarchist, I’m not paranoid and I don’t trust a bunch of loons on the interwebz more than I trust the government.

By the way, if your family doctor prescribes something you don’t agree with then don’t take it. LOL

If your local pusher trys to sell you something you don't agree with don't take it either. All your arguments as usual are logic failures that do not address my points and try to put word in my mouth and then argue against that false statement, you do nothing but prove that you are nothing more than a troll. I never said I'm an anarchist and I am not. You on the other hand are a Oligarchy supporter.

Well clicking view on your ignored posts as usual has been a waste of time, so later Troll.

Oh no, that breaks my heart sweet tits.  I hate being ignored by random strangers on the interwebz. LOL

Bitcoin is an open source project. The people who decide to use it for their needs should know that they cannot sue anyone. If you find a flaw in the software, you fix it and publish it or make the issue known.

In any case, you said that you have seen better governance systems. Can you give us examples of what they are?

How I wish I can say the same about Ripple. Permissioned systems are not good for the cryptospace, and I reckon your transactions can be censored in there.

Open source projects can be controlled. Red Hat Enterprise Linux is a perfect example of how it can be done right. Again, look to Linux projects for good governance. The problem really isn’t that bitcoin has bad governance it’s that it has no governance.  Everyone is just running their own program. A recent example, the Chinese mining collective stopped any fork that could have changed the blocksize.

I believe, and every time I look at my kids I thank God again and again.

I’m confused, god came in your wife? Or was it an immaculate conception?

Anyway, props to you for raising someone else’s kids. If you’d like to have kids of your own, all that’s required is a six pack of wine coolers to get her drunk and the back seat of a car.  Teenagers don’t seem to have any problem doing it without gods help.

Next time you’re chatting with god, ask him why he allowed this mother to get pregnant? Did he think it was fair for the kid to grow up with a homeless whore as a mother?

It's all part of god's mysterious ways, you wouldn't understand it. Now seriously, if a god exists and he knows about us then he is evil.
How would God knowing about us makes us evil, i think a detailed explanation is really needed here.

If god knows about humans and he is indeed all powerful all knowing, bla bla then he is evil because he could help innocent people and he doesn't. There is no point in making a child suffer for years without food, illness, etc when you can stop it. Picture this, you find someone that is about to get killed by whatever and you can actually save him with no effort and no risk but you decide not to, aren't you evil?

Well said, I guess god is evil.

@QuestionAuthority. That is your opinion. But what do you reckon the bitcoin developers and the community do to make the system of governance better, and how do you expect them to achieve it?

In any case, if you really reckon that bitcoin is hopeless, then what cryptocoin would you suggest as a better alternative?

I don’t think any other crypto is a better solution than bitcoin because the idea of a standalone crypto payment solution is a flawed concept at its core. I have seen better systems of governance. Bitcoin (or any crypto) needs to have some sort of accountable governance. Who holds the devs accountable right now? Can you sue them for damages? There is currently NO accountability. That’s fine for a super risky investment where you can have no expectation of any guaranteed return. However, that is totally unacceptable for a currency. Today I see Ripple as being the only global payment solution using blockchain technology that even comes close.

Well he is right about the Tether scam. It's a huge fraud that will rock crypto when it comes crashing down.

That has been well known for quite awhile, if you search my post history you will find warnings from when polo first listed it. When did he notice it? It's pretty well known around the interwebs that it is backed by nothing. It's the hot potato token when the music stops we will se who gets burned. Cheesy

It is backed by nothing?  What exactly do you think Bitcoin is backed by then?  All it will take for the “music to stop” on Bitcoin is one major event (coding problem, multi govt action, whale dump and price crash, et cetera)

I am sorry, but I cannot help it. I have to interject and join the discussion hehe.

Yes bitcoin is not backed by anything, but surely you cannot justify that Tether's unbackedness is the same as bitcoin's. From the distribution of the coins, the monetary policy and to the structure of the network, you know bitcoin does it in a way that prevents any participant in the network from becoming a central authority.

On the otherside, there are rumors that Tether printed another $94 million worth of USDT.

You’re right of course, no crypto is backed by anything. People have simply replaced trusting a government fiat issuing authority wth trusting a collection of unknown coders and half-assed community oversight. A perfect example of the half-assed oversight is the respected an revered Roger Ver visiting MtGox and telling everyone how great things are going right before Karpeles loses 500k community bitcoins.

I agree, Tether is worse.

Yes, the Bitcoin exchange rate will go up forever until one Bitpenny is worth 100 bajillion dollars. At that point every person with a little dust in their wallet can use it to buy their own island in the pacific.
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 29, 2017, 02:09:44 PM
Since drugs are strictly prohibited and a wrong practice. The company and management of bitcoin do not tolerate this transaction using their product. Bitcoin follows the jurisdiction of the law which govern them; through this they have coordination with the government to secure and monitor the system free from illegal transaction. If there is an irregularity happen which involves drugs, they will make some immediate action for it to resolve the problem. The company always provide the best service from their clients free from drugs and crime.

What in the fuck are you babbling about?  You do realize Bitcoin got its start as drug money for Silkroad darkweb marketplace, right?  Bitcoin has been used more for the purchase of drugs, guns and other illegal paraphernalia than all other products the world has to offer combined.

It’s fascinating to see how many truly ignorant people are using bitcoin.

953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of bitcoin increase forever? on: November 26, 2017, 04:37:44 PM
Bitcoin will go up until it’s not going up any more, then it will go down. One thing is certain, no currency or medium of exchange in recorded history has had its value sit still.

Bitcoin - America’s next great pump n’ dump.

American business finally comes up with a way to get financial revenge on Japan for bombing them with Toyota’s and Honda’s. LOL
955  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe in god? on: November 26, 2017, 04:03:19 PM
god is there for people who cant handle something in live, so they are asking for help. the best thing is, to find a spiritual way to yourself and then start talking to yourself like to god. its the same effect, but you skip the god bullshit.
Most people come to believe in God because their lives are simply destroyed. But I myself witness how a person became the best after he believed. And it's almost like miracles.

I myself witnessed how a person became a pedophile after he believed, what's your point? People believe in god because they can't accept the real world and need something to keep going.

Wow, I’m pretty sure I’d like you if I met you in person. I’ve been saying that same statement to people for about 40 years now. I change it slightly when I say it to people, “Feebleminded fools believe in god because they can't comprehend the complexity of the real world and need a crutch to keep going. Religion is the perfect crutch to hold up a weak mind.”

What a retarded post. I usually don't answer moronic shit like this but I I read it because I haven't had my coffee yet.

Why don't you ask some n00b to ELI5 it for you.

Based on your vernacular, you’re obviously an intelligent and sophisticated person. So, why don’t you enlighten us by regaling us with your views on what Bitcoin is backed by then?

Oh, please try to answer with more than just parroting back the scarcity argument. That argument is a myth for anything that can be created on a computer because anything that’s coded can be changed at any point by a nefarious actor.
957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: November 26, 2017, 12:38:33 AM
I’m pretty sure the way the price is climbing,  illegal activities are the only thing bitcoin is being used for.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you USE your BTC? on: November 26, 2017, 12:34:04 AM
I use to use Bitcoin daily to buy things such as coffee and gas. However, nowadays it's pointless. The fees are crazy and I'd be paying for two cups of coffee with the fee alone, not worth it. I'd much rather use something such as ETH for purchases.

Everyone I know says the same thing and yet the price is climbing?
