941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 19, 2017, 01:21:29 PM
I don't have any story to tell but based on my knowledge gambling most of the brings you loss instead profits. So as long as you avoid gambling then your safe.
Actually, if gambling is wrong hopefully it can be ban by the government, but that's not the case probably it depends on the country there are some country that gambling is not officially allowed especially online. But here in my place gambling was legally operated whether land based or online. So my answer is gambling is wrong whether you hurt or not your neighbor it is still wrong for me. but I do gamble sometimes Grin

944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 19, 2017, 12:08:24 PM
How does one Put down Gambling for good?

Try marrying someone who already have 5 kids, maybe that should work. you'll probably save every penny and may even rob a bank once you have your own kids.

Hahahahah, what a nice advice of yours, nice one dude! Grin that would really work, but don't do try to rob a bank once you have 5 kids Cheesy
do some kind of earnings here like joining the signature campaign or do trade in the exchanges platform
945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: March 19, 2017, 11:50:24 AM
I would like to know what experiences did you had when you first started with Bitcoins. As for me, I had many that I would like to share with you.

When I began in the Bitcoin world, I was a complete rookie with no proper knowledge of how did mining worked or anything about cryptocurrencies. I just thought about Bitcoin as another payment processor like PayPal. But when I joined the BitcoinTalk community, I learned so many things along the way. In my process of learning in the first days, I decided to invest into cloud mining services. Since I didn't knew much about it, I invested a plenty amount of Bitcoins to start my journey into it. During that time, I had gotten into many different services. Those were GAW Miners, then Cointellect, cloudminr.io and finally Hashnest. After getting scammed many times by the services mentioned previously, (except for Hashnest) I have lost many Bitcoins. As a result, I decided to never invest into cloud mining and thus dedicate myself into learning more about the cryptocurrency and look for other ways to earn Bitcoins. It was then that I enrolled into the signature campaign that I am currently into and during all that time I began to earn Bitcoins as well as diversify my investments into different alt coins. Now I am dedicated to trading Bitcoins and other alt coins, as well as working for it (like the signature campaign and working as a freelancer) in order to earn coins and build up my portfolio along the way.

Anyways, what would be your experiences with this exciting cryptocurrency?  Cheesy
When I was starting in bitcoin I was just like a kinder student which learning a things which I do not know it even I read it several times it took  moths before I understand it clearly, it was a very hard experience on my part as in I applied full of hard work to study and learned it. I just became patience on reading from time to time and keep on try to do some research about in bitcoin, trading, and other. And now here I am somehow I developed myself here in this forum. Cheesy
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even now in 2017, why is bitcoin *still* not accepted as a major currency? on: March 19, 2017, 11:22:25 AM
Doesn't make any sense TBH. We should've seen it starting to replace conventional currencies by now.
Bitcoin so far is not accepted as currency in majority of the country only for digital payments. Its the reality things happen, therefore so I think it will take many more years before it become a major currency, due to many community are still not ready to accept it massively.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there any sites why have been able to predict long term BTC price changes? on: March 19, 2017, 11:10:12 AM
With at least a 75% accuracy
Giving any prediction on this matters was always not accurate whether long term or short term. But if there basis prediction is a long term there is chances that bitcoin can be change the price value. And I think many of the bitcoin analysis is doing it.
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: March 19, 2017, 10:45:17 AM
BTC's an international currency now! International people use it, but it could be used much more if it was easier, much easier for travelers to exchange BTC with the local fiat currency.
Bitcoin in some other country bitcoin was not yet accept, the only countries I know where bitcoin is accepted was Australia, China, Japan, Russia, Canada, London, those nations are build much of bitcoin community, which means bitcoin was really an international currency
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins is now same as paypal(and worst) on: March 19, 2017, 08:52:38 AM
even with higher fees, bitcoin is still much better than Paypal. bitcoin is still decentralized and i can use it anywhere i like to without any third party interference. and also there is no charge back scam if i am the receiver.

but the problems with fee are getting more serious and this will cause us not to be willing to use bitcoin anymore. and just hold it in cold storage for future to dump and use the fiat we gain!
Its been miles a way why bitcoin is greater than Paypal, though Paypal was the first one being established in the market in the entire world of internet. But still bitcoin much more has an edge to it in terms of the volatility, Cheesy
950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving bitcoins on: March 19, 2017, 08:25:46 AM
You can't save your bitcoin directly to a bank unless there is already a bitcoin bank in your location. If it is not yet available then it will be converted first on your country's currency or your prefered other currency option. The rate will be depends on the bank because sometimes they have differences.

I guess there were some countries that uses and accept bitcoin legally and so the bank accepted in some, I guess in the Philippines the Central Bank there accepts already If I am not mistaken.  But dont worry as soon everyone will decide to accept bitcoin because of its so much popularity.

I doubt that Philippines Central Bank accepted bitcoin, maybe in some other terms they just allowed it, For sure they a hidden agenda why there doing it, It could be in a long run they are planning to make it centralize once they found out their citizens are getting aware into bitcoin. But that's not going to work because of decentralization of bitcoin.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: March 19, 2017, 08:09:30 AM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
? What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolarsWhat does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day?
 - Because the price of bitcoin was bouncing or fluctuates from time to time, and sometimes its aggressive to swings.

why would I convert money into Bitcoins?
 - because of the volatility of bitcoin has, unlike in real money is not. and it could be double or more your dollars amount you have once you
convert it into bitcoin. which is not possible into a real currency.

What's the difference between Bitcoins and dollar?
 - Dollar is commonly used anywhere in the world whether physical payment or online payment, while bitcoin can only be use in all aspects of online payments. Their differences only was bitcoin is unregulated digital currency and Dollars was regulated currency.

952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: March 19, 2017, 07:42:11 AM
There is a thread about recomendations for the best wallet to use, but not all practice what they preach, so this poll is to see what people are actually using.
I understand that some people use multiple wallets of different kinds, so this poll asks which wallet is most used, this can be measured either by quantity of bitcoin or ammount of transactions.

I used 3 wallet such as web wallet, hardware, and electrum wallet, but most often was electrum and web wallet. So far is good to me and never encounter any such issues about it.
953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: March 19, 2017, 07:03:40 AM
As long as bitcoin can be convert in a real currency, it is called money. I'm not gonna treat bitcoin as money if I cannot sustained all my expenses in my daily routine in life, and I'm sending money in different places and I do save money also because of bitcoin. Meaning, it is a real currency/money for me.
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: March 19, 2017, 06:40:21 AM

What do you like best about bitcoin?
Decentralization, transparency or easier to move?
Or just it makes you look cool? Wink
In my assessment, What I like most of bitcoin was it gives financial freedom to anyone if they're gonna take it seriously.  And of the main factor why bitcoin is still the best its because of its security or very safe to use it and decentralized like what you just said in the above. Nothing else, I know no one will ever be like bitcoin.
955  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: March 19, 2017, 06:17:41 AM
Already fiat is worthless .  No need to talk more about it ,
You don't know what your saying, Don't you know that for a several years fiat became useful in many countries in the entire world. And even bitcoin reach 1M$ Fiat will still be useful in different places of the country.  Smiley
956  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 19, 2017, 05:54:30 AM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

There stored it because this is their belief into bitcoin, where someday it can give them a big savings in the near future on which once the price value meet the highest or peak value they can sell their holdings to get their rewards of waiting for That's on this long term basis it needs patience actually.
It's appropriate to call it as investment because possibilities to lose is still there, regardless on how many number of bitcoins you are holding in the future but if the price will fall, it will still not be worthy. This is an investment that we believe will give us great return as we are basing on the past result, we've seen the success and fall of bitcoin but still we are optimistic, hope our faith in bitcoin will pay off at the right time.
Indeed, you are definitely correct pal Cheesy  But I don't think it will fall into worst scenario.  I really do believed into bitcoin, and I knew most bitcoin lover are also holding to that belief too. Smiley That's why because of positive view of many it is one of the factor why some of the whales investor are getting into bitcoin because they saw the high demand of the users all over the world.
957  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: March 19, 2017, 05:43:58 AM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
All community in bitcoin world are dreaming of that things, and by getting profit a lots of bitcoin is not that easy to get it. Unless the coin value you buy become increase x1000% with the minimal amount you invested. I wish that could be happen to me Grin
But it really need to exert a hard work effort here.
958  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: March 19, 2017, 05:25:17 AM
This happens all days, people trade all day, all crypto currencies, bitcoin always has the biggest ammount, even with some altcoins showing up like dash. Im pretty sure on the next days a dump will come at bitcoin like what happened ad January, because at the moment there arent any news to impact the bitcoin price, besides the wish of people to see bitcoin breaking walls.

Yes, I also think that soon the price of Bitcoin decline slightly. That's when we all see a lot of hysterical people who will sell all of its assets
It's possible to decline because that is how the market behave, but the question is, does it cause a panic selling?
My opinion is not, people already given their trust with bitcoin and they know how strong it is, if the fact that it will fall we already expected it to rise again. Hence, if you sell and panic, you will not take the opportunity to grow your money.

Many people know about bitcoin now. They want to buy some. So even if there is some decline, that will not be too deep.
You had a point with that things, the only community usually get panic on selling are those people who are newbie in this industry. JUst like what you had just said if there is  dropping the price happen it will surely recover then in a couple days.
959  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think They’ll Use the US Dollar on Mars? on: March 19, 2017, 05:11:59 AM
Wow, good to hear bitcoin is now supporting by the person involved in the space industry. But bitcoin nowadays is only open to any one in the world who'd like to use and adopt it whether in company, or others. But it has a big impact if tat happen and be implement, And I also believed US dollars was being used on Mars, it is really supported by the US.
960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: COIN ETF - Effect on Bitcoin on: March 19, 2017, 04:39:39 AM
Hey,

As we all know the final decision of SEC regarding the Winklevoss Bitcoin ETF (COIN).
What do you think is going to happen if it does get listed on Nasdaq?
Price movements? More Regulation?

I personally think that in the long run prices will skyrocket.

You already answered your owned question. Well, This is shows that in reality application in this industry bitcoin really can't be control by anyone. So we supposed to be thankful into ETF winklevoss, because if they didn't do it we won't see how powerful it is that decentralization has. Though it can't be denied after that result bitcoin value dropped but even is like that it will still recover on along run.
