How about only earning Bitcoin and not using them? I think the price of Bitcoin will gain much more value. So if we keep it as our asset we will be much rich in the future...hehe...whats your opinion about this?
You can do so. I believe a lot of people are doing it. Just saving bitcoin and then wait for its fiat value to go up which is highly likely in the future. I have known some who opt to withdraw some of their savings and put it in bitcoin because the increase in value is much higher than just saving it in bank. There are others who tried trading but then lose and doesn't want to trade again so they just save their bitcoin and let it grow in value. Others are saving coins for their children so that when they grow up and bitcoin will continue to soar in value then it could pay for their education.

Hey guys. I’m able to invest about $100 weekly. Could go $200 on certain weeks but only if it’s soemthing that’s about to sky rocket or something.
I was looking for some help as what is the best approach for someone who can invest this amount weekly. I know it isn’t much but I’d like to hold long term instead of expecting big returns right away
Good for you OP to be able to invest weekly because many people can't do so. I would suggest to buy bitcoin at least half of your investment and the remaining half to altcoins or ICOs. Just stick in the altcoins that has already proven record and if possible those that are in the top 10 because many of them have been existing for years already so you can study their movement and speculate where is the possible route of the price. There are so many ICOs that you can choose from. Read the reviews of the people about the ICOs and do your own research to know if their project is viable and will be valuable in the future.

What websites (besides this forum) or other sources do you use to get news about your coins? I read on bitcointalk but have the feeling that I miss a lot of interesting news about the coins I own (currently BTC, OMG, ADX, SUB, KMD, ARK, BLOCK, ETH) and would like to stay more 'in the news'.
Thanks in advance for your reply!

I only been on the forums a few weeks now. how does one get a higher rating and trust score? what should I be doing? thanks
Trust is earned when someone do transaction with you and they like what you have done for them. It depends on them whether they will give you a positive trust or not. Usually, those people who have higher ranks have a tendency to be trusted more by others because of the reputation he has. There are others too that have lower rank but has high trust already because he did many things for others and maybe those who like his work recommended him to others that's why he earn that trust. Just continue to follow forum rules and bounty rules if you decide to join them because usually people get negative trust when they try to cheat in signature or bounty campaigns.

Hi, I'm a newbie here in bitcoin and I'm not that really familiar with the methods and strategies in earning here. Since this is an open forum and I don't want to commit any mistakes using it, i will just ask and get suggestions if bitcoin can be correlated in any social medias that i mentioned? Thank you.
Some developers wanted to advertise their projects and would invite people to invest in their Initial Coin Offering that's why to reach more audience, they would implement bounty campaigns to promote their coins in social media like facebook, twitter, youtube and instagram. You can earn by participating in their campaigns but it depends whether you are eligible or not. In facebook, sometimes they require number of friends, in twitter number of followers and in youtube number of subscribers. After the completion of their ICO, most of them pay you with tokens where you can trade it with bitcoin but there are some who would pay you directly with bitcoin. Just check here the bounty campaigns available that pay tokens: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0You can also check here bounty campaigns that pay bitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

Basically after some glorious trading, and mistakenly getting into pump with all of my BTC, this is what I got now. xD Guys... What do you think I should do with my 0.01 BTC? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Donate to charity? buy me beer and drink myself into oblivion? Others are starting with this amount to trade. You just calm your mind first and focus on your mistakes and learn from it. Of course you can just donate it to charity but if you start to trade again and do the right thing like having a trading strategy and trade altcoins then you may do so and when you have profits then donate it to charity so you can still continue trading. It would be a win-win situation. My trading journey is not that good either joining hypes and pump and dump but I know this not should be the way. I still continue to learn and decide to trade on my own.

When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so). What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment
People nowadays are so used to having instant (noodles, message, mail) that they can't keep an investment for a longer amount of time. With cryptocurrency that is fast phase, it can satisfy the people investing in short term that is why many are enticed to invest on it. There are times that long term investment pays more than short term do but there are times as well when short term investment should have been done to prevent more losses. There are coins that go up thousand times at the beginning of the year and there are some that decrease in value because people just hold and believe that their coins would eventually moon but end up actually worthless. Never the less, just diversify your investment for long and short term so that you can manage the risk as well.

For all the people who started trading with dreams to become rich. How has your journey been so far. Was there a net profit or loss till now. Do mention from when you started trading and what amount in total did you loose or gain. Also some mistakes that you would never repeat?
My trading journey started a year ago but stop for some time and back again for a few months now. I have tried so many strategies, followed some traders, participate in pump and dump (which is not recommended and I stop anyway because I just lose from it), tried doing some more strategy and research more. Some things I learned from my experience is that I learned more in losing than when I am successful and I make sure that I know my mistake why I lose in a particular trade. I still continue learning and I hope that someday I will be able to reach the goals I dreamed of through trading.

Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
I cash out some of my coins because I need it to pay for some expenses. Luckily, our local base platform already integrated bills payment for utilities and mobile recharge so it is easier for me to pay the bills using bitcoin. Though I think of the value of it when it goes up and I should be paying less bitcoin then, I have no choice because there are times when I am out of fiat so I need to cash out some coins. Those are my earnings from this forum so it is not really an investment from fiat to bitcoin then to fiat again. I sometimes buy grocery by cashing out some coins as well.

They have been disabling a lot of accounts, i have a friend who got his account closed because he did not made the enhanced verification too, and he had a lot of altcoins in there, now they all are stucked. of course that there is no way that you can get your money back, because those people are never going to reply to the tickets, and less to the accussations because they have thousands of them in all around the internet. so it is a waste of time to complain about it, because there is no way to get their coins back, no matter what you are looking to do with it.
There are many enhanced verified accounts as well that goes back to basic account and need to verify again which is somewhat non-sense. They are just adding more workload knowing that they have maybe thousand of tickets every day to deal with. It is just unfortunate for your friend not being able to withdraw it. There are so many who are waiting for at least a month already and no news from the support yet. There are some who finally get their account verified after months of waiting so if you are one of the unfortunate ones whose account is disabled then there is no choice but to wait for their response.

FUD is everywhere and it exist in every crypto.
Some FUD are true because of its evidences (screenshots etc..)
and sometimes the crypto price stumble and fell.
is the FUD can be a basis now for cypto price fall?
The key to not be affected by FUD is to do your own research. If you heard some rumors or actually see a news then research more about it because in this way, you may help someone that may be affected by the FUD and will decide without thinking rationally like panic selling. For us who are already in the community should help each other by knowing the truth behind the issues so that the newbies would be able to distinguish what is true and what is not. Usually, the newbies are the ones who are easily affected by it. The same goes with FOMO. There are so many people who are buying on top because of the fear of missing out but later on discovered that it was just a pump so he would end up being dump.
